The manager, Elyse, is always there every week when I order my Queen of all Greens. Not only does she greet me with a smile every time, she remembers me and always makes sure I get my drink the way I like it! Her multi-tasking abilities and her customer service skills are on point! She is the reason I keep going back here, on top of the delicious drinks of course!
We ordered online directly from Robek's...there was no fee, and drinks were ready when we got there. Smoothies were excellent. I am still very partial to the Classic line...I had the South Pacific Squeeze...delicious!

Our auditors recently conducted an independent review of Robeks Fresh Juices & Smoothies, focusing on overall customer experience, service efficiency, cleanliness, and compliance with public standards. The visit began positively. The location offered plenty of free parking and was fully wheelchair accessible, ensuring convenience for all guests. Upon entry, our auditors were greeted immediately and assisted without delay, setting a friendly first impression. The smoothies ordered were well-prepared, flavorful, and had excellent consistency throughout. We also noted that the staff member, identified as Ava, maintained good customer service and demonstrated proper food-handling procedures by wearing gloves. However, there were several areas that require improvement. No public health inspection grade card was visibly posted — a compliance issue, as California law mandates clear display of health scores. Only one employee was on duty at the time of the audit, resulting in lapses in operational responsiveness; for example, the store’s phone rang multiple times without being answered. Additionally, no name tag was visible on the employee, and condiments for the breakfast sandwich were unavailable. Upon entering, our auditors also observed a wet floor with a puddle, trash visible nearby, and a wet floor sign left in view of the entrance. While this may have been part of cleaning efforts, the overall presentation conveyed a lack of attentiveness and diminished the professionalism of the space. Despite these shortcomings, Ava’s courteous demeanor, attention to food safety, and consistent product quality were commendable highlights of the visit. Gold Seal Standards will be conducting a follow-up audit to reassess compliance, customer service, and presentation standards. My daughter and I were in the neighborhood, and we wanted a refreshing drink. We saw Robeks and decided that was perfect! Great smoothies!! Poor staff!! I came in on 2/17/25 around 1pm and the customer service was horrible. a very rude staff member was working, and her facial expression, tone, and energy was very hostile and negative. she gave me a “i dont want to be here i hate this job” type of energy, which was evident when she frowned/stank faced at me once she noticed i was patiently waiting at the register. her vocal tone was not welcoming at all either. i think basic social skills and kindness/being welcoming should be a requirement for employees working at these types of establishments (restaurants, cafes, etc.), because once employees show even an ounce of kindness, customers remember and come back to that business. For me personally, once I sense any type of rudeness/negativity from a worker, i let someone know and stay away from that business for the foreseeable future. Great smoothies tho. Maybe order delivery if u want them. Pickup/carry out is a hit or miss, because you run the risk of getting frowned upon if that worker sees you enter the store.

WOULD YOU EAT THAT? Sooo I this was my third attempt to go to the Robeks in Torrance . It says they are open at 7:00am , twice I waited till 7:20 and still not open . Today I waited till 7:11am and finally someone came and opened , I was the first and only one in the store * . I ordered a smoothie and strawberries & cream toast . And that does no look like what I ordered. And would not eat it even if I settled. How did I get old avocado and soggy toast if they literally just opened 2 min ago and I was the first instore order. It looks old just looking at the avocado. I’m not a complainer but would you serve that to your friends or family ? The service in this store is very angsty and or careless. I not sure if I would come back to be honest.

I have been a long time patron of this location as it happens to be close to my work. The decline in quality over the years has been very notable. However after today, I will not be going back to this place ever (7/16). Ordered a medium size polar pineapple and an avocado/egg toast, the server was an Asian gentleman who was not pleased to hear my order and mannerisms suggested I was disturbing him. He was jamming to his music and I was not feeling the vibe. He proceeded to make the Avocado-Egg toast while not wearing a pair of gloves or even a single glove on the serving hand and proceeded to cut/chop the eggs and avocado and stack it on to the toast. I immediately pointed out that he was in violation of health code and all he had to say was "I was wearing 1 gloves". He clearly did not wear any gloves. He did not correct his stance even when I gave a chance and proceeded to pretend to do the dishes. Please avoid this place, this location is a health and hygiene risk by all means. Please hire employees who are educated on health and safety, have regards for basic hygiene.
My first time trying robeks and if it wasn’t for the fact that it was the quickest thing in this plaza I would have walked out as quick as I walked in. Employee Cat/Kat had a horrible attitude/demeanor the entire time with me and anyone she came in contact with. As someone who works in customer service, I had secondhand embarrassment by the way she handled every customer interaction. Even people who walked in to pick up mobile orders would walk in with a huge smile say “thanks have a great day” and she would turn around with her stink face and say absolutely nothing as their smiles would fall right off their faces. Another customer walked in and greeted her as Kat (with her AirPod in her ear) again said absolutely nothing. Robeks please do better! This is embarrassing. Kat, if customer service is not for you please get another job! We all have bad days but leave your problems at home.
Hygiene is awful!!!!! Went to get 3 smoothies today and the employee was outside smoking cigarettes on his phone. When he eventually came in he didn’t wash his hands, put his cigarettes in the back, took my order and proceeded to touch all my fruit and vegetables with his dirty unwashed cigarette hands and not even gloves. Younger Asian guy with AirPods and tattoos on his arms for management reference. Took his airpods in and out. Still didn’t wash his hands. So not acceptable. I was starving. Smoothie tasted like cigarettes. Such a waste of money on 3 smoothies that didn’t get touched and were thrown out. Will NOT be coming back which is a shame because I love the smoothies here. My order took over 20 minutes and I was the only one in the store. Unfortunate because it has been great in the past. So disgusting!!!!!!! These employees need to be updated on sanitary protocol or look into some better employees. I never leave reviews but I was so disgusted watching these smoothies be made I wanted to throw up. Should’ve asked for a refund and left.

And we got better service there!!! You guys lost a customer, I will definitely not be going back to robeks ever again.
The Asian guy wearing sandals and house clothes ignored us the whole time. He must be the owner or related to them because he looks like he doesn’t care about being there at all. The place was a mess and we left with nothing because we stood at the register for TEN minutes without a greeting or any acknowledgement. I get that you may be working on mobile orders but it only takes 5 seconds to let us know you’ll be right with us. I recommend Nektar across the street. We ordered and got our drinks in less than the ten minute we waited at Robeks.
This is probably the worst Robeks I've been to. I usually come and they are super slow and have no customer service. Tonight I walk in and stood around for about 10min before someone even came out. But they really didn't come out I noticed him sitting in the corner and got his attention. I also called the store 2x while waiting so someone could come out. Needless to say no answer. This isn't a one time thing, this is all the time. But ehhhh it's the closest one to my place so there's that. The owner might want to do some retraining.
Asian dude with the ear pods and tattoos. Walked in. Never said anything to us. 10 minutes goes by. He touched bleached towels, food, smoothies and then set it all on the counter. This place needs to redo its training and food handler cards. Or just fire this guy. We ended up walked out after 12 minutes standing and waiting to simply order. Went next door. This is our 2nd attempt here. Same guy, same story. Won’t be coming back.
Don't waste your time coming here. Service is rude. Go across the street to nectar where it's very clean and they have great customer service. There was an Asian guy who just stood there with his arms crossed popping gum or something in his mouth and the other guy did make my smoothie and I would have to say the Smoothie was delicious but the service and how the food is just sitting in open air is bad and I'm sure it's all spoiled
Okay, I really wanted an actual good açaí bowl so I looked on google maps and tried to find the top rated ones with good reviews . I stumble upon robeks fresh juices and smoothies. It has great reviews , and from the pictures it looks amazing . I went to robeks and I ordered the strawana açaí bowl . I asked SPECIFICALLY for no granola or no coconut . ( i also got some pirate boot cheese puffs and they were awesome ) and when the worker who makes the stuff started making it , the cashier reminded her no granola or coconut . And the worker said “oops” because I think she already added in the granola . (btw I went on Monday , july 31st) and NOT TO MENTION there were gnats everywhere ! also the tables looked so dirty and there were food crumbs everywhere . Fast forward a couple minutes where I finally got my order. It looked DELICIOUS . then I took a couple bites and realized there was granola . I had already left and was on the road driving and it was to late to go back . Also, the “acai bowl” melted very fast ! In a span of 5 minutes it was all melted and watery . The only thing actually good was my pirate booty chips. Never EVER going back here.
Might be the worst smoothie I’ve ever had in my life… despite it being essentially my normal order I’d get at Smoothie King. At least two ingredients ordered and paid for were just completely left out of the smoothie. Would never return. I think Jamba Juice might literally be the only remotely decent smoothie place in all of California.
