A nice Pakistan / Indian Restaurant. The price is reasonable. Parking off streets is free after 5:00pm. I tried another Indian restaurant but found no customer eat in during dinner time, so I backed off. So that was right decision.

Shalimar is one of those hidden gems people walk by everyday but never realized how good it actually is. Today was my first time, but it won't be my last, the food was delicious, filling and surprisingly affordable. Also, as if the food wasn't enough, the staff was very friendly and took the time to help us pick a dish that was vegetarian, gluten free and dairy free. I would highly recommend you stop by and give them a try.

I am obsessed with this place. You wouldn’t realize how much of a gem it is just by looking at it from the outside. We get the buffet often, but not often enough. The food is so good and never disappointing. I love that their dishes are not spicy and yet so full of flavor. I also really enjoy the music they play inside the restaurant . The staff have never been rude, maybe sometimes a little distant. Recently their buffet prices dropped a little, which I believe is due to competition moving in next door. If they didn’t drop the buffet prices, I would have actually left 4 stars. I still pay the price because it’s worth it, but I stopped going frequently because it was getting to be a bit much and added up fast. Take-out is a rare treat for us because the minimum cost for delivery and food prices are a bit higher. But the food it still worth it to us.

A little hole in the wall with great food. A large menu selection and the staff was great. The restroom, though clean enough, is not for the fainthearted being down in the cellar. I would go here again.

The owner and staff here are terrific. They really want you to enjoy your food. The place is nothing to look at, but it’s comfortable and clean enough to enjoy your meal. Prices are a little high, but seem about right for the area.

I enjoyed the food and the service. The prices were reasonable too. I would definitely consider going back for lunch or dinner. Parking can be difficult to find. You may need to park a block or so away.

Best buffet in the region, and some of my favorite Indian food. The Vegetable Korma is to die for!! Low priced buffet, but the full meals are more expensive. Delivery.... takes a while. Same for take out. Still well worth the wait. The buffet now runs every day, which is AWESOME. Not a buffet to miss. Very casual, quiet, sometimes hard to get drink refills though.

The service was too slow. Now about the food, I ordered goat biriani, but what I was served looked more like goat curry mixed with rice! Still giving stars just to support local indian cuisine. Edit: Visited again and seems prices gone up but quantity down. For take out, they don’t give you plates or cutlery, only little boxes, making it inconvenient for people eating lunch at work.

Biryani was not flavorful at all, chicken was off-tasting and it wasn't spicy at all. The rice was also not very flavorful due to the fact that barely any spice was used. Typically biryani comes with raita as well, which was also not offered. Ordered takeout and it didn't come with utensils. Couldn't even finish the dish, was very disappointed.
