Great bacon guacamole burgers! A bit messy, nice quiet atmosphere and great service.
I always have the best time when I go to eat at BJ’s. I always request Riley because she has provided the best experience many times. She is so friendly, knowledgeable and patient whenever I take forever to decide on what I want! If I have questions about the menu, she is more than happy to answer them. She goes above and beyond for her customers and I always leave with great memories!
The deep dish pizzas are great. They bring back memories.
The food and drinks were great but our server/bartender, Riley, was amazing and she’s what made our experience 10/10! She was charismatic, energetic, extremely polite/kind and fun! Thanks to her, BJ’s now has 2 new forever customers!
Kanye West is everything, Not only is his name iconic but his service his personality being so friendly is so awesome even if the food was bad I would say it was good just because he was such an awesome person.
Large menu & large portions. Easy for even picky eaters or those with dietary restrictions to find something they will like! We love coming in on Sundays and sitting at the bar to watch some football. Our favorite bartender, Riley, always makes great drinks and is very attentive and friendly!
I went there with my wife and the food and beer was amazing. What made the experience more enjoyable was our server Riley. She went out of her way to ensure that we had everything we needed and that everything came out as we wanted. My wife and I will definitely be returning.
We had a great time at BJs tonight. Everything is consistently good at BJ’s, we go a lot. While trying to make this post I saw that I previously gave a 5 star two years ago. However, what made me post tonight was our server Shun. She was so great. Aside from a great server, she is just a great person. We will be back.
I went in there the other day and the server, Gray, did an outstanding job with our order, she suggested we get the peanut chicken with soba noodles and it was a 10/10! Me and my hubbie used to own a small diner and she would have made an exceptional waitress. I can see her going really far in life, I will be coming here again!!!
I really enjoyed my meal. Jeremy was a great waiter. The couscous Macaroni balls were delicious. And The prime rib dinner was delicious and included salad, two sides and dessert. I love the ambience too. I will be back.
Riley was the best bartender I've ever had anywhere!!! Food is always great and her service is AMAZING!!! The only reason I have 3 stars for atmosphere is because BJs cooperate got rid of NFL Sunday ticket and that loses business for them here in Tyler, TX. And Riley deserves everyone's business because of how great she is!!!
My friend and I had the best service we’ve ever had at a restaurant. I’m pregnant so I end up asking for random things throughout my meals. Never once did I get a weird look or anything from our server. I know that that sounds like the bare minimum but I promise you it’s not. For example I asked for cilantro for my burger and not only did he bring it out no questions asked but he double checked and made sure that it was enough. My friends 18 month old also choked a little and threw up and he came over right away as we were cleaning it up. He immediately stopped what he was doing , made sure she was ok, and took over the cleaning. We insisted on finishing it because we didn’t want him to have to clean it but he told us it was really no problem and continued to give us a bag for her clothes and everything. His name was Jayson Wright . Words literally cannot describe how great this man is at his job.
Jason Wright delivered the most exceptional service I have ever received. From the moment we were sat, he was prompt and on point. We never had to ask for anything, other than extras that didn’t come with our meals. He had no questions when I asked to have my daughters food brought out first so it had time to cool, no complaints when we needed extras, and was quick to offer help when my daughter vomited. When I insisted on cleaning it myself, he informed me that he could handle it (as he’s cleaned up worse before), and even grabbed me a bag for my daughters clothes when I went to clean her up, while continuously asking if I needed anything else. This man not only handled our table very well (and if you know 18 month olds, that’s not always the easiest thing), but went above and beyond to help me with something that was beyond any of our control. I 10/10 recommend Jason to ANYONE who eats here.
We went for dinner our service Shaun was perfect. She explained everything on the menu, she was very attentive and accommodating. Her energy was awesome. The hostess was also very nice. I will definitely be going back soon.
I have been here twice so far and plan on coming back. Each time I get the BBQ chopped salad and I order it halfed and even that can be too much food for me. I wish all salads came halfed, only a few do. My boyfriend got the chicken club and he said it was tasty, including the fries. Water served with lemon, plus. We had the waitress in the bar who had tattoos we got her last time and she's very polite, professional and very tentative. I will be back here!
Excellent food and service! Hats off to Jaylon the chef for a deliciously prepared rib eye and steak wedge salad. Our server Britney was top notch, patient, friendly and just awesome! Loved everything! Signed up for rewards as we'll definitely be back!
I had lunch at BJ’s today, and it was great. I ordered the Enlightened Asian Chicken salad, and it was delicious. I wanted a different type of lettuce, and our waiter, Eddie, made it happen. He was a great server—very friendly and super accommodating. He made sure we were well taken care of.
Ate here a few days ago with a friend of mine (which was delicious), and decided to come back again solely because of the wonderful experience our server, Riley, gave us. I was so impressed by her menu knowledge and ability to recommend food options that catered to our pallet. Her presence was so endearing and she truly defined the term “customer service”. Even if the food was awful, she was such a pleasure to be around. Highly recommend requesting Riley as your server!
Came here for Sunday dinner with friends after getting off work. The server,Devin, was so friendly and accommodating. All three of us thought that the service was impeccable and we appreciate Devin for coming to check on our table frequently. The manager came by to check on us a well which we greatly appreciated. The margaritas were also very delicious and I recommend the white peach boba margarita strongly. I suggest trying the margarita flight as well if you’re as indecisive as I am. The drink menu has so much variety and the food was delicious as well. Overall I will definitely be back and hope to have Devin as a server again.
Walked into BJ’s Brewery so hungry I could’ve eaten the entire menu, including the paper it’s printed on. Thankfully, Riley showed up just in time to save me from chewing on the table. She took our order, got it all right, and kept things moving—exactly what I needed when I was about two minutes away from a hanger meltdown. The burger? Perfect. Fries? More than enough to fill the void in my soul. Everything came out hot, fresh, and just what I needed to remind myself that life’s worth living when you’ve got good food in front of you. If you’re looking for a place where the food hits the spot and the service doesn’t miss a beat, BJ’s is where you wanna be. Riley’s on point, no fuss, just good vibes and full plates. Trust me, you’ll leave satisfied and wondering why you didn’t come here sooner.
My husband and I eat regularly at BJ’s in Tyler and always have a great experience. Today Riley was our server. She is so friendly, sweet, and attentive! We heard her waiting on the booth next to us, and she is just as sweet with new diners as she is with us regulars. Never any complaints! 🫶
We have been here a few times and have always been impressed with the service and food. During our recent visit, Riley took customer service to a new level! She was so kind, helpful and continued to check on us frequently to ensure that we were enjoying our time there. Highly recommend!
EDIT: STILL CRUSHING IT. 2025 This place is great. I've been going to BJ'S for over 20 years now (numerous locations), and they are always on point. We have ordered food for delivery quite a few times and the food is always delicious. We haven't been into the restaurant in a while, but the food is really good even when delivered. I personally LOVE the ribs. I love to see BJ'S still crushing it after all of these decades. My wife recommends the enlightened seared ahi tuna salad but subbed with that blackened salmon. 👨🍳 it's really good as well
This place is amazing ! Great selection of great food. We have been many times and the service is always great . I know this sounds unreal but I promise every single time we have been to any location it has been very great !
Great place with a few page menu, known for their pizza and beer selection. It has other options as well as a decent kids menu. While I was there around the middle of June 2025, they had a neat bathtub cocktail where if you paid a little bit more, you could keep the bathtub it came in. Its not a bad place, but I have noticed its been getting a little bit more expensive each time we visit which is a bit of a bummer.
It's been a while since visiting here, but have now eaten there three out of the last four days. I am totally taken with the chicken pot stickers, they are so good. The cheeseburger with applewood smoked bacon is delicious. The turkey club and fries was good. The fries are excellent! Today I tried the parmesan crusted chicken with a ceaser salad and mashed potatoes, it was good, but not something I would order again. The service was good today, but the prior two visits it less than desirable.
Food is pretty solid. We order to go sometimes.
had an excellent experience on 9/9 at BJs. it was a Saturday evening around 6:30pm when we arrived. Had a pleasant young lady (Ashley) as a server who was attentive and efficient. S/O had Prime Rib, baked potato and broccoli cheese soup. (I think $32.00) and I had a Mushroom Swiss burger with fries (Not on menu. Don't remember cost). also had calamari for appetizer. pizookie was included with prime rib dinner. total cost for the two of us was just under $70 with tax and before tip. The food was cooked exactly as requested. Everything came out hot and fresh. my S/O is incredibly particular about her food as she was happy with meal. I should point out she is always in need of napkins, extra glass of ice, etc. waitress handled it perfectly. overall, based on this visit I would recommend BJs. the only thing I could complain about is the condition of the booths. the top faux leather had large tears out of it on our booth and the one behind us. these tears were huge at 9 - 12" wide and extended from top to bottom of booth. I was going to take a star off for the atmosphere because of it, but as far as I know, it could have just happened, and they were already in the process of getting it replaced.
I just happen to be addicted to this restaurant, so many selections to choose from. I personally like the pizza they have and the wings try the bacon jam wings. Oh I can’t forget the smash burgers.. Drinks are always satisfying and the service is great if you happen to check it out stop by the bar or cocktail and ask for the bartender name Sarah she is great and very kind. If you have a hard time deciding what entree you want her suggestions are great!
I did a large catering order from BJ’s this evening that fed almost 40 people! I received about that many compliments on how delicious the food was. It is a challenge to work around food allergies and preferences, but their catering menu makes it so easy to meet most of those needs! The food was hot, fresh, and right on time! The BJ’s team was so helpful and friendly. I was greeted and assisted by four employees. Customer service and food quality is five stars at this location! I WILL be catering from them again. Way to go, BJ’s in Tyler!
We had Kenny as our server and he was amazing, his energy and vibe was the greatest and lifted all of ours moods by 100%. Will definitely be coming back. The best server!!
KENNEY was an amazing waiter if we were doing first round draft picks he would be our pick .He took very good care of us and I highly recommend! 10/10
The entire staff needs raises. From the hostess, to the servers, to the bartenders, and the chefs. Our entire experience was AMAZING!!! Our server "Brianna" was soooooo AWESOME!!! She made our 25th Anniversary Dinner extremely special. She had excellent customer service, and she made us feel like we were right at home. When we're in Tyler, Texas again, we will definitely visit this BJ's again.
I've visited this location on three separate occasions; all three experiences were outstanding. The servers Todd, Kanye, and Rose ( i believe) were exceptional. The food was also delicious! I highly recommend their sourdough bread bowls ans pizookis.
Sat in the bar area, Todd was my waiter bar tender. Had the BJ Hefeweizen and wings for me and my lady. The Sweet and Spicy Asian Glaze were delicious with enough spice. Mac and cheese balls were great. Todd is fantastic, great service.
Ate lunch with a small group after church, our server was the best- sweet and fast with our requests, no one's drink was ever empty or even low for that matter! The food was good, my club sandwich and my cousin's pizza were amazing but the chicken alfredo my son and mother ordered was a bit bland. The monkey bread dessert was outstanding, really good.
I loved everything about my visit to BJ's Restaurant and Brewhouse. The company of friends made the biggest difference, but the restaurant was beautifully decorated, had excellent service, a great menu with lots of variety, and delicious food. I found it a little hard to hear the conversation because the music was a tad loud for me. But other than that, I would not have changed a thing. There was plenty of parking, no wait, and friendly service.
had a great experience eating here! the food was cooked well and tasted delicious. our server was very attentive and kind. came here with my family, and i would say it's definitely a great spot to go to no matter what age
We had a lovely experience with delicious, nutritious food. The salmon and burgers were served perfectly by our server, Rosa, who knew the menu and was great! TV’s available but great quiet atmosphere. No wait time. Vegetarian options. Desserts are scrumptious! Great beer, wine etc. selections. Great parking.
Wow! Go here and try the Prime Rib it's only avaliable on the weekends but wow. It's the best I've ever had. Cooked medium rare and it was perfect. I like to rate my dishes 0-10 I rarely find myself giving 9s this was a 9.3 seriously try it. The dessert was fantastic and the waiter was great.
Riley was our server and she was great. Our appetizer wasn't up to par this time and she took it off the ticket without us asking. Service was just right. Very friendly.
Came in Tuesday night to treat myself to a cocktail. Once inside, I decided to step outside of my comfort zone, and try something new. I no longer drink, but since my birthday recently passed, I decided to go ahead. I haven't been to BJ's since 2012, so I chose to drop in. I decided on Chardonnay, and although it wasn't quite my "cup of tea", my server was awesome. Didn't catch his name, but he had a pony tail, and was very professional, warm and gracious. They even took the glass off of my bill since they ran out and it wasn't a full pour. I look forward to returning. I had a great night and it was a cool vibe 🤙🏼
In my view, BJ’s is among the best of the big chain restaurants. The dinning room is a step up over most chains, as is the food. The atmosphere isn’t too “sports bar,” but it does cater to that crowd a bit. But, it also has a bit more class and aesthetic quality than the other chains, enough that it feels like an upgrade. The faire is better than most chains, too. Boasting a broader menu than places like Buffalo Wild Wings and Chili’s, it’s a decent choice when your favorite locally-owned restaurant is booked.
BJs has a broad menu with delicious selections. We dined very late and the food was still good and the service was impeccable. The restaurant is showing age, but we have been consistently pleased with our experiences at BJs
This was the first time, in several years, my kids & I got to eat out together. BJ's is always my son's first choice, and I'm glad no one opposed. Everything was perfect!! The food was awesome, & we didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. The staff was courteous and attentive. I'm hoping we can get together & dine at BJ's soon!! The reason I gave 4 stars is because, the women's restroom lacked tissue, and I had informed staff during the 30-minute wait before being seated. Plus, they weren't proactive in sweeping up the debris, from the floor, at our booth.
Went here in honor of my brother who passed from brain cancer. This was one of his favorite places. Unfortunately, this was a bad experience for both my wife and I. From the offset, the waitress/hostess took the experience downhill. No smile, no polite greeting, but only a disgruntled employee. There were very few people there at around 2 p.m. so it wasn't, or didn't appear to be an overworked situation. It didn't take long to realize she had a problem as the next couple that came in, which we could see from our seat, she treated similarly. Our server-in-training and his trainer were polite and courteous and took our order without problems. Rather than giving the "new guy" a bad impression, we saught a moment with the trainer and explained the spiraling problem at the front door. Within moments the manager came by to speak with us. Listening attentively, he said it was a perfect opportunity for "coaching" his staff, which he did privately by all indications. While the initial situation was resolved as far as coaching and addressing the employee, it did somewhat dampen our meal, moment and experience. Pictures of what we had are shown. The ahi salad was "okay" but the ahi tuna lacked flavor. The portabella hamburger my wife had was phenomenal according to her and our "pazookie" desserts were terrific - all three! All in all, we would give the experience a three-four They would have had a five if it weren't for our initial greeting and setting. Lastly, it is good that a manager can address the problem professionally for customers and emploees as well. One never knows what is going on in the servers, greeters or staff's lives. A timely intervention can be beneficial on many fronts.
We had a large group, about 20 and we needed two sets of long tables. The food was good, and the environment was quiet enough we could easily converse. Our server did a great job, but we only had 1 for the entire group, which sometimes meant we were waiting for a while to get things. 2 servers would have been ideal.
We had some errands to run in Tyler… wife ordered some new glasses and we had an hour or so to kill so we went to BJ’s. I’ve been there about 6 times… wife says she hasn’t been there. I ordered a steak wedge salad… it was presented well and pretty good… I enjoyed it. Wife ordered ahi tuna salad. When I saw that she was pushing ahi tuna to the edge of the plate, I knew there was a problem. To her the ahi tuna was too old and tasted very fishy. Also… she’s not a tomato person… there were way too many tomatos and they were far from ripe. Whereas, I enjoyed mine, she will not be going back.
You can’t go wrong with the pazookies for dessert—they're always a hit! Most of their dishes are consistently good, which is why we keep coming back. Our go-to appetizer is the avocado rolls, and they never disappoint. This time, we decided to try a deep-dish pizza for the first time, and it was absolutely worth it—flavorful, cheesy, and perfectly baked. BJ’s continues to be a solid choice for a great meal, and we’ll definitely be back for more
I don’t usually review restaurants where I am from. But this one was just really good. Upon arriving, there was no one at the host's station, and it took some time before someone finally attended to me. Despite this initial hiccup, my experience improved significantly with the help of the server. Server: Devin Devin was incredibly personable and knowledgeable about the menu. She made everything pleasant and was extremely helpful throughout my visit. 13 Pizookie Meal Deal Burger: The burger was impressively juicy, enhanced by the flavorful homemade pickles. Despite the burger not being pink, it retained its juiciness and delicious taste. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasted great, with a homemade quality that stood out. However, the portion of fries could have been larger, or the plate itself could have been smaller to better match the serving size. Pizookie (Salted Caramel) The salted caramel pizookie was a delightful treat. The cookie was gooey, decadent, and absolutely delicious. The ice cream was soft but not overly so, and when paired with the cookie, it created a divine dessert experience.
Nice spot but service was extremely slow. Took an hour for our food to be served. Beware of whats called Deepdish pizza, it's actually DeapBREAD pizza!! You have been warned 😁! Very nice people though, my family enjoyed their meals but super slow service.
A definite family favorite with plenty of gluten free options. Edit: we loved it every time except for the last time. I always get the salad and hubby always gets the nachos. Was great every time until our last visit. We won't be going back. It wasn't good at all. We don't know what they changed but it'll be a hard pass from now on.
Not as good as it used to be. We received dirty silverware. It took 45 minutes from the time we ordered to receive our food and it was only marginally warm. We order pzookies which took another 30 minutes. One was burnt and stuck to the pan. They tried to hide the burnt cookie with the toppings. They were not even busy, so I do not know what the problem was. It was a very disappointing meal that cost well over $100!!!
BJs is a 2.5 for me. It’s overpriced for the quality you get outside of happy hour. I had two appetizers, one was the mac n cheese balls which was quite good, the other was the avocado rolls which was not. The avocado rolls could be fixed by adding literally something as simple as corn to it, preferably fire roasted corn. However just a nasty overpriced bite of avocado surrounded by fried bread. Maybe that’s your thing but imo just add corn and that will fix a lot of the issues it has. The entrée was the Mediterranean chicken bowl, and it was thoroughly mediocre. It was bland, and uninteresting. For me there’s no saving this dish. The chocolate pizookie was very good though. Highly recommend that.
Service was a little too slow for how empty the restaurant was on a Wednesday night. the waiting staff at the bar were really nice though! As far as the food, I did the $13 pizookie meal deal with the Italian chicken and a side salad, and overall would say it was good and a proportionate size for what I ordered. However, I am not sure if I plan on coming back simply due to the long wait times.
I took my sons out for lunch before a movie today. We arrived at noon (on a Monday), and it wasn't busy. There were only a few tables occupied with guests. The host was polite and professional and seated us at a booth. Our waiter, Rick, didn't take too long to come and ask for our drink orders. He was polite and friendly enough, but forgetful? I had asked him a question, which he said he would ask management and get back with me, and he never did. He also forgot to comp my dessert, although I had shown him my app reward when ordering it, and he said his computer already showed him everything about my online app profile. (😳 which I thought was kind of weird) He comped my dessert quickly enough when it was brought to his attention and was quite nice about it. He was good about checking in with us and refilling our drinks throughout our stay. As I said, it wasn't busy inside, so I'm not sure what took the kitchen so long to cook our orders, but we were there an hour and a half from arrival to departure, and it made us late getting to our movie showing. I ordered the Bacon Guacamole Burger with fries, and a Strawberry Daiquiri. My burger was so big I couldn't bite into it with the buns, so I removed them and ate it without them. I ordered it well done, and it came out perfectly and tasted very good. My fries came out cold, however. They would have been delicious had they been fresh and hot. My Daiquiri came with a lime in it, which is weird, Daiquiri's don't normally come with limes, and i hate the taste of limes, so every sip tasted off to me, making me wonder if it was in fact, a margarita, instead of a daiquiri. The hot fudge brownie pizzookie dessert was okay, i woukd have preferred if they had cooked the brownie part just a tad longer so it wasnt so soft and mushy. One son ordered the BBQ Tri Tip steak medium rare with mashed potatoes and fries, as well as a Berryburst pint and The Lucky Ducky. The little bathtub it comes in, with the little plastic duck in it, is so cute. He said both drinks tasted very good. He also said his steak and potatoes were very good and he thoroughly enjoyed his meal. My other son ordered the Rib Eye, well done, with a baked potato and French fries with a Long Island Iced Tea. He enjoyed his potatoes, but said the steak was too fatty, and would have preferred it to be seared longer, as it had a too-soft texture and he would have preferred the steak to have a bit firmer texture. It also lacked flavor and needed some seasoning for his preference. The baked potato was okay, just a normal baked potato. He said the LIIT was very strong and tasted good. Overall, we had a nice time, despite the long wait time to receive our food and my fries being cold. It's not a place I will probably visit again. It's a little pricey overall, and I would've enjoyed a meal somewhere else just as much or more, than I did here. My total bill, with tip, was $160 for 3 meals and 4 drinks.
Very disappointed in this visit, been to many BJs and had great experience. First time at the Tyler location. Service was poor, waiter seemed like he definitely did not want to be working. The chips we got were soaked in grease, as you can see in the picture. Long wait time to receive our food, which tasted sub par. We won't be back to this location.
Our meal started out great! The Spaghetti and Meatballs plus the Alfredo were both very tasty. We never received any bread, which the menu states that we should get with our meal. When my date asked for another beer, the waiter disappeared for 15 mins. He finally went to the bar and picked up his hot beer himself. There were no apologies or excuses. We don't plan to go back!
Server was talking to one table for a long period of time. We had to wave her down to get her attention. Food is delicious. Service horrible.
I ordered prime rib medium rare. I apparently got the end cut. It was heavily seasoned and well done. I ordered sautéed asparagus. It was dried out and almost impossible to chew. The service was so slow coming out of the kitchen that I did not send it back to the kitchen, I just wanted to get out. I will vote by never going there again.
I ordered the ribeye medium rare and it just tastes like fire and grill. Can’t taste the meat at all, had to drown my pieces in sauce to eat it. The Waitress was gracious enough to help get it sent back to the kitchen. I ordered a burger instead which was my fault after ordering the steak, it tasted exactly the same, best thing I had was the shrimp appetizer with the parmesan bread and the drinks.
My wife and I dined today at BJ’s in Tyler, right off Hwy 323. Decore was nice, booth was comfortable. We arrived at 4:30 and waited 15 minutes before someone came to our table to take our drinks order. My wife had a BJ’s signature brew, which she truly enjoyed. I ordered a Gin Martini, extra dry, with Bombay Saphire Gin. This drink fell way short, both in volume and in taste. This definitely was only half a martini as it was only half-way up on the martini glass. Lots of ice shards watered down this martini that fell way short, and I think they tried to make up for the lack of liquor in this drink by adding in 3 olives to take up more volume. My taste buds are not dead, so I can tell you that this drink was NOT made with Bombay Saphire, that’s for sure. I’m pretty sure they made a substitution. When the server delivered our drinks, and I saw that the Martini was only half full, I asked if it had evaporated on the way over. Instead of the server getting the hint and offering to top off the drink, she simply laughed and said, “That’s what I thought, too.” My wife had the protein bowl, and she stated that it was very delicious and that the portion size was quite generous. I had the grilled Atlantic Salmon with steamed broccoli, and I substituted the rice pilaf with mashed potatoes instead. My meal was delicious; though the salmon was a little dry. The salmon was draped over the mashed potatoes, which were topped with a melted white cheese & lemon sauce that was light to the taste and quite delicious, though the sauce was in short supply on my plate. While the martini fell far short of what I would expect from a place as nice as BJ’s, especially at the $14.95 price tag, I would’ve expected the wait staff to offer to fix the drink situation, but she didn’t care enough to offer to fix it; she simply asked if I wanted another. I told her “Not at that price.” At the end of our meal, upon paying the bill with our wait staff, I made sure to tell her that though the meal was good, the drink was cheapened and below par. So, folks, if you patronize BJ’s, go for the food, but don’t go for the drinks.
It’s been a while since I’ve been to this location and I probably won’t be back again soon. I ordered the Enlightened Mediterranean Chicken Bowl without onions and cucumbers. You’ll see in the photo that the cucumbers were “mostly” removed. Even more disappointing was the incredibly slow service some in our group experienced. Meals slowly emerged from the kitchen and our bills took forever to reach the table. We arrived shortly after 12:30pm and, despite an average size lunch crowd, we were scrambling to leave by 1:55pm to make 2:00 meetings.
Regular customers here, came and was given a mostly raw burger, mentioned it to server how undercooked it was (named Todd, was working at the bar) and he said “yeah” and did not even bother to apologize or try to fix the issue and paid full price will not be returning again.
Walked in about 4:30 this afternoon because we missed lunch. Deserted restaurant, a few folks at the bar. We stood at the front for probably close to 10 minutes. Nobody said hello or acknowledged our presence. So we left. The next establishment we went to actually knew we were there.
A server never came to our table so we asked for a manager. The manager also didn’t come so we politely told the boy at the front we were leaving. He simply said, “Ok.” This location is unfortunately not worth a date night!
I had deep dish barbecued chicken pizza, the medium one for the price it should have been loaded very skimpy and dry and the dough has no flavor and dense, they do not have Coke zero. The avocado egg rolls were very good.
Our waitress was the best part of this experience. The food was awful. Fries were like rubber and cold. California chicken club was bland and bacon burnt veggies not fresh looking. My ziti was literally swimming in grease. For $23 the ziti should be at least twice the size. Looked like a kid meal. When we came in a girl was using the same broom used to sweep the floor to sweep out the booth! Never again.
Food took forever to come out when she asked about the food and the service it was cold the entire meal was $56 that wasn’t he issue for me but my first time experience not so pleasant. The waiter did offer to send manager but at this point I will not be coming back Manager did come and apologize explain however for me he discounted the meal and I do appreciate him for that I just still not willing to return
This is probably the most disgusting bjs I've ever been to. The floor was sticky, the menus were sticky, the seats were sticky and the table was as well. When we asked the bus boy about getting the seats cleaned he didn't even speak. He just walked away, got napkins and came back. He wiped the seats with the wet trash he had and dried it with napkins. He didn't acknowledge we spoke to him, even when we thanked him, he just walked away. You could tell he didn't want to be here. We had to clean the table with our wet wipes that we carry. I'm sure the city health department would love to experience this place. The pizzas were fine, but I'll never come back. The BJs in Shenandoah is much cleaner and has a much friendlier staff.
Super disappointed. The server we got was super rude to us. The food was over priced and the chicken was pink and barely cooked. I got my check back and it was 31 and some cents and I paid with 40 cash. The lady brought me back only 7 dollars when I was owed 9. Will not be coming back.
Sara was our server. We sat 15 minutes before another server told us she was going to find Sara. She took our drink orders and pizookie orders and left. Took 15 more mins to get a water and a Dr Pepper. Got the two pizookies and had to flag her down for the check and Togo box. The whole time she would either disappear to the back or be talking with her back facing her section. Charged regular price for pizookies instead of $5 for the Tuesday deal but we got that squared away with the manager.
i came to try bj’s again after not coming for several months after my boyfriend was served a raw burger without even an apology from our waiter. i tried it again last night and the food seemed blander than i remember. i ordered a drink with tito’s vodka in it but the drink was terrible and was obviously not made with tito’s and instead some other cheap vodka for $11. i tried the avocado eggs rolls, which i used to love, just to see the avocado was not only brown but gray looking. ordered one of my favorite pizookies on their menu and i’m pretty sure the cookie wasn’t even cooked all the way. it was just like a paste in my mouth. i didn’t even bother finishing my food or drink. i paid the bill (honestly not even sure why i did) and left. i personally won’t be giving this restaurant a third chance.
Fair Warning {Do Not Eat at This Location} My boyfriend and I decided to return to BJ’s after having an awesome experience and great food at one of the Houston locations. Unfortunately, the Tyler location was a complete disappointment. I ordered bone-in wings for takeout, and when I got home, they were full of feathers. I called and spoke with the takeout specialist, Jess, who apologized and said she knew exactly what I meant describing it as wings that weren’t properly plucked. She admitted she doesn’t like when they come out like that either. I asked to speak with a manager, but she said the manager, Brandon, couldn’t come to the phone because he was having to cook. She took my name and number, promising a call back. The next day came and went with no call, so I called back myself and spoke with another manager, Sam. Sam was unpleasant to speak with and dismissive of my concern. He mentioned he’d been managing there for seven years and had “never seen that happen before.” I told him I didn’t want a gift card I just wanted a refund. Instead of handling it with care, he caught an attitude and questioned how I even placed my order (which was over the phone). He finally processed my refund, but the entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Between the poor food quality, lack of accountability, and rude management, I won’t be returning to this location. They need new management and better quality control.
