No waiting time at time of Visit. Ordered El Nacho Grande with ground beef, it was awesome good taste, fresh lettuce & tomatoes on top, shredded cheese was used instead of cheese sauce. I ordered the smothered patty plate which is a hamburger steak topped with mushrooms, sauted onions & bacon. Greens beans and mashed potatoes. We also ordered a cowboy burger which has cheese, grilled onions, jalapeños and bacon. Awesome would recommend. The swiss mushroom burger was delicious. Freshly made with onion rings. Place was clean, prompt service and servers were awesome and attentive. Will visit again when in the area.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Lunkers Grill and Bar in Uvalde, TX, and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The steak salad I ordered was not only visually appealing but also incredibly delicious. The blend of fresh greens, perfectly cooked steak, and flavorful dressing made it a standout dish. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service added to the overall positive impression. I highly recommend Lunkers for a satisfying dining experience, and I look forward to returning soon!

Excellent service from the barmaids and waitreses and reasonable priced drinks. The food was also surprisingly very fresh and good for a bar. Atmosphere on Fridays is good also if you are in the mood for dancing!

I was overly impressed with the quality of the food. I had the cowboy nuggets, delicious! We all had a burger, which was also delicious! Haha. The previous reviews didn't give me much hope, but I was very impressed. Our waitress was awesome, she was very busy tho, so I had to flag her down when I needed something, but it was okay cause she was very prompt. The drinks were great! I didn't have a shot, but I wanted to. Lol my only complaint was that the pool room needs attention. It's hot in there, only one window unit was going, I think the others were broke. And the pool tables were kinda dirty there wasnt a full set of balls. I really enjoyed the whole experience, I will be back!!

Great food and good service. I wasn't disappointed by anything during our stop here. I had the burger and my wife had chicken strips. Both plates were fantastic and filling. Doesn't break the bank either which is always a plus. Service was quick and friendly. I'd give it an A- overall.

First time here - ordered the lunch special - $7.99 for a “Smothered Patty” - large hamburger patty covered with a slice of cheese, sauteed mushroom and onions, bacon, etc... Also came with mashed potatoes (with brown gravy), green beans (seasoned well - probably frozen - definitely not canned) and Texas toast. Lots of tvs on the walls, plenty of folks eating - all in all an excellent value for a tasty lunch

Both food items were extremely greasy and burger was lacking seasoning and taste, same for fries. Definitely not a $14 burger experience. Service was ok. Restaurant was clean and would be a nice place with better food quality.

Dear Manager and/or owner Your staff is overworked. As a result of this it took 45 minutes to get our food (2 people including myself). Your staff is awesome, food is great, atmosphere amazing.

Walking it was spacious tables far apart which was nice. We ordered drinks and the server forgot my hubs beer, I had to remind her. For the starter we had fried pickles which were very good. My poor chicken fried chicken looks crisp to that it folded up. The corn tasted like it was frozen thawed and refroze and heated again. Fries were hot and crispy. My husband's plate was smothered chicken. He said it was editable nothing WOW about it. Kids got the 2 sliders and the chicken littles. They eat everything and pretty much anything. My overall opinion is its ok. We more then likely will not return.

I pulled up to a hotel in Uvalde and noticed that it had a bar & grill connected to it. That is a great sign. I'm staying in the hotel and hop, skip, & jumped over to Lunkers from my room. Got there one hour before they closed the kitchen. They had 3 separate sections dining area; the bar; and the game room with pool tables. Whomever designed that was clever. We ordered chicken fried steak and Jack Daniels Steak. The CFS was salty/mashed pots. was dry. My Steak was chewy and had no seasoning but the JD sauce was pretty good. My baked potato was tasty 😋. The positive side of Lunkers was their Good spirited lady servers.

Slow service, food was sub par at best. Forgot one of my appetizers, so I had it removed from the bill. My husband ordered a medium well steak, and got a rare steak instead and had to send it back. This place is way over priced for the quality of food that you get.

I was very disappointed with this visit! I have eaten at this establishment about seven times in the last 2 months. It is usually pretty good. I've told people about it so that they would try it out. Today's experience was not what I have been recommending. I sat there for over ten minutes waiting for someone to acknowledge me and to take a drink order. When my Monterey chicken was served 15-20 minutes later, it was cold. I couldn't complain yo my waitress because she never came back to check on me. It took another waitress to ask me how everything was. I was there for atleast two hours and only saw my waitress four times. A table behind me complained to her when she finally showed back up at their table. I will probably not be going back and that's too bad for finding a decent place to eat in Uvalde and too bad for the customers. I still left her a decent tip, even though she didn't deserve one.
