New location just 4 days open, soft open dinner 4-9pm. Lots of staff from Casa Milagro in Richardson. Great people, and wonderful food. Marg recipe from Casa, so be ready! We had large guacamole, and Combo platters, Enchiladas and taco with side of beans and rice. Just starting out, and will only continue to be better. We enjoyed ourselves and able to visit. We will be back! Definitely Returned, and better than ever! Create You Own 2 Chicken Enchiladas with sour cream and pickled jalapeños, crispy beef taco is delicious. Perfectly stuffed and not overly sauced like some do. Several years open now. Quality Tex-Mex. Great Marg's If you're a fan of pinto, you need to try the Bean Soup, or Fancy Bean Soup with Fajita Chicken or Beef. You won't be disappointed!

First time. The chips are warm and really delicious along with yummy salsa and bean purée. I could get full just from this! I ordered the chicken and rice soup for lunch, very yummy! Can’t wait to come back and try more. Service was great. And it’s really cute decorated with lights and plants.

The brisket tacos are great. Rice and beans top notch. The shrimp was good. The atmosphere light and friendly. The margaritas were good. Glad to have this place in the neighborhood, happy to come back and try something else.

This is right in our neighborhood and we’ve seen a it a lot. We decided to go on Valentine’s Day but not for Valentines Day. We forgot. :P. We were still able to get seated pretty quickly however. Here’s our review: Food: We started with chips and salsa. Chips were light and salsa delicious and had a little kick of spice. We ordered the spicy Queso and it was good. Had a little heat to it as well but no too overwhelming. The guacamole was very tasty. It was also a generous amount. The small portion was more than enough for 2. We ordered build your own combo. Chicken enchiladas and beef taco. Enchilada was a little dry and the sour cream was a bit goopy but still good. Taco was good. Hard to make a bad hard shell taco. We also ordered the Chile relleno. We chose beef and it was super tasty. Most Chile Rellenos are battered and fried but this one was not. It was covered with a tomato sauce and cheese. Rice and beans were tasty. Service: We forgot it was Valentine’s Day and the place was setup for it. They were taking reservations and the place looked pack but we were able to get a table within 5 minutes. The hostess and waitress were extremely nice and accommodating. We got our food quick and drinks were always refilled in a timely manner. Price: The prices were very reasonable for the amount of food you got. Family friendly pricing with great portions. Ambience: The place is small but quaint. Probably around 20 tables. Great place for dinner or lunch. Overall, I would recommend someone looking for a great tasting Tex-Mex restaurant with a friendly atmosphere. It’s hidden but it’s gem for this area.

Wow! What a pleasant surprise. It's my first time here and enjoyed it very much. It's a great find, as it's located in the back of a strip center; however, don't let that fool you. The environment has a nice warmth, as well as clean. Oh, the food is delicious! You can tell, they work hard to make it special. In addition, loved the snappy music that has an upbeat rhythm. My server was a young man who was tentative as well as respectful, he was helpful answering all questions with a smile. Just glancing over the menu, I noticed so many different things I want to try, so I'm definitely coming back for more goodness! Hope you enjoy as much as I have.

What a wonderful dinner experience we had at Pineda's! Everyone was full of joy & warmth as we dined the evening away. Our server, Janet was friendly, funny, & on top of each detail. The food was so tasty & paired well with the watermelon margarita that I enjoyed. Thank you to the entire staff for helping to make our holiday that much more spirited!

The salmon had a GREAT crust and flavor... Tamarind Margaritas were delicious, and not something you find everywhere... The Mango Habanero was really good too. Next time I don't think I'd add brisket to the quesadilla (maybe chicken or fajita beef)... and the bowl of queso was large, though not quite what I wanted (similar more to Mi Cocina than the Amigos that I love). A la carte street tacos were a nice touch... I got a couple and appreciated both the red and green sauces. If service were faster, I probably would've spent another 50 bucks on their margaritas!

Went to this place on a Friday at 5:30, and was no wait. Our waitress Karina was amazing. Always coming by and topping off drinks and making sure we didn’t need anything. The atmosphere was very friendly and the owner came by to talk to everyone. Like he was family. The food was above average and portions were generous. We would definitely come back next time we come to Dallas.

Great little spot to grab some tasty Mexican food. I ordered the beef fajitas for lunch and they were ok .... nothing spectacular or over the top but they were decent. Their chips and salsa are really good here! They also serve a bean dip which was really good too!

I was a little surprised when I walked in. Several reviews mentioned a nice ambiance. The best word I can find for the ambiance is sterile. Muted colors, very limited decoration, and occasionally some Spanish music wafting out of the kitchen almost inaudibly. But it looked very clean, so I was happy. I ordered the roasted pork chimichanga. It was not fried. In fact the tortilla was still soft. I had been hoping for a nice crunch, but the flavor was good and the plate was huge, so I was happy. The service was fantastic. So I was happy.

The food is more TexMex than Mexican. Great variety on the menu. Fajitas were a little lacking. Serving size is good. Double check to-go orders. I ordered my food to go. I didn’t get to check the order before leaving, and the flan was missing. :( it’s not the end of the world, but not great when you were looking forward to it. I expected a little more from the fajitas. Like more of caramelized onions, rather than sautéed. Tortillas taste and feel store bought and the chicken was light on the seasoning. My husband did enjoy the brisket tacos and the guacamole was good.

We decided to order from Pineda because it’s close to our home and the menu had something for everyone in our family. The kids enjoyed their kids meal (1 taco w/ rice and beans). I ordered the pick 3 meal, and it was disappointing. Initially, they forgot my enchilada, rice, and beans, so I had to send my husband back; they provided the missing items and apologized for the inconvenience, but didn’t offer anything for the mixup or additional wait time. The taco was very basic; pictured, you’ll see a flour tortilla shell with ground beef (bland) and a small piece of a green pepper. Maybe the lettuce and cheese were meant for the tostada and taco since they were packaged together; unsure, but there was no onion, cilantro, or anything else that’d give this taco flavor. The guacamole tostada was the best tasting item I ate. The chicken enchilada was disappointing; the chicken was OK, but the white cream sauce on top was bland and flavorless; it simply tasted like cream with a slight sweetness to it. Not pictured, but my husband ordered a brisket burrito, which he really enjoyed (flavorful and filling). All in all, I would not recommend Pineda, and we won’t be ordering from here again.
