Bar Crystal in Chiavari is centrally located near the cathedral – perfectly situated, especially if you're visiting the nearby flea market. We only intended to stop for a quick Aperol Spritz, but it turned into a three-hour stay for the three of us – and rightly so. With our first drink, we were served small, lovingly prepared snacks – completely free of charge. This simple extra immediately created a welcoming atmosphere, and the attentive service and relaxed ambiance did the rest. If you're looking for a lovely spot for a short break – or an accidentally extended one – this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

We used the bar for an aperitivo. There was plenty of finger food, which was even replenished. The drinks selection was extensive, and the service was friendly and efficient. No pretension, just a lovely spot to soak up the atmosphere of the city center. Highly recommended!

I found myself in Chiavari at the last minute late one afternoon last week, and after finishing some errands, after 7 pm, we decided to grab an aperitivo. We opted for this place, which I'd noticed several times (having worked in Chiavari) but had never stopped at. I asked at the counter for two Proseccos, and both the appetizers and the two glasses arrived within a minute. The staff were kind, helpful, and accommodating, without ever being intrusive. We ordered seconds because the Prosecco was light and very good. The value for money was excellent, but I assure you, given the kindness and the setting, I wouldn't have noticed a few euros more. The owner, at my request, also showed me the bottle because I was curious to know what kind of Prosecco it was. Needless to say, even now that I know, I'll go there anyway when I pass through Chiavari. Proof that you don't have to work miracles. A little speed (there were 2 of us, not 5) and kindness; It doesn't take much, but with so many activities it seems like you're doing them a disservice if you go there... but the Crystal staff really impressed me. Highly recommended 👍🏻

Bello e originale l'allestimento interno, un po' trascurati i tavolini all'esterno. Bellissima la posizione nell'affascinante "carugio" di chiavari. Purtroppo il cappuccino a colazione non era dei migliori...

Located on Chiavari's central Caruggio, the venue offers both indoor and outdoor seating. It offers a full range of bar services, from breakfast and morning coffees, to a light lunch and a late afternoon get-together with friends for an aperitivo accompanied by interesting and generous appetizers. All at very reasonable prices. On some special occasions, they host DJ music. I highly recommend it.

Nel centro storico di Chiavari si sente in positivo il cambio di gestione. Non ho ancora un giudizio chiaro ma almeno il nuovo barista parla ed è conosciuto lavorando in precedenza in altro bar di buona affluenza. Direi che la sua presenza è rassicurante.

Having passed this bar several times and seeing how crowded it is, we stopped in too... I think it's a great stop for locals, friends of the owners, and those visiting the nearby shops/banks. People passing by might find better (since it's located downtown), because the service was so rushed, it was almost as if we weren't there. The focaccia was good (it's from the baker across the street). It's a shame because the place is nice and the owners seem friendly, too.

Bar, portici dello "struscio" chiavarese, ponte pasquale, ore 18-19: ordinando due Spritz e un analcolico ci aspetta qlc di più che alcuni pezzi di pizza riscaldata e una ciotolina di patatine. La location merita un servizio più attento e più vario. I clienti anche. Da evitare: c'è di meglio!

The brioches are very small and not fresh; the cappuccino doesn't taste like cappuccino (it tastes like latte). Recommended for those who want to spend money on a whim. 😐
