I had the caldo de pollo, it was great, and the medium size was perfect for me. I loved their warm salsa and chips. The rice was perfect. My only wish was that they served margarita on the rocks.

I would like you to sit back, relax, and think about the best shrimp cocktails that you have tried recently. If Valle's shrimp doesn't immediately come to mind within 4 seconds then I'm afraid you've never had a proper shrimp cocktail. Not only are the shrimp juicy and chock full of flavor they are also quiet large. I have 25 years of shrimp experience as shrimp connoisseur.

Very good food! We live in the Austin area now and travel to Waco just to eat here ! Love the Green Chile chicken plate ! And the hot salsa is my favorite ! The cold salsa is my hubbies favorite ! They make some amazing margaritas too! It's very clean and the staff is so nice !

This is a busy location. I ordered over the phone and arrived with order ready. I had caldo de res. The soup was excellent and had corn tortillas. I also had great red sauce. I will try this location again. I observed all tables full with customers waiting for great food.

Picked up some breakfast tacos from Valles. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I got tacos for an office, so had a big order. They made the tacos quickly and everything was fresh. Everyone raved about them!

I eat there at least once a week or more. The food is good, made to my specification, very crispy bacon. Service is exceptional, especially Paul. All staff are friendly. They have breakfast and lunch specials. Also have great crispy chips with both hot and cold salsa. For a bit more spice, ask for their green sauce. Pancakes are good and taste a bit like angel food cake.

One of my families favorite places. The staff is always nice, professional and fast. The food is so delicious and always fresh. I ordered the charro beans with my food and I was blown away, it was so good. If you haven't had a chance to eat here, your missing out. So many delicious choices to choose from. The lemonade is very good too.

Food was very good. Went on Tuesday morning with three others. Waiter made sure we had what we needed without us having to wait. Food was almost too much to eat. Waiter also gave us a rose that was left from Mother's Day a couple of days before. Overall a good dining experience. Will definitely go back in the future.

This restaurant has been in our lives for the last few years! My father in-law went here every morning before he passed away. The ladies that work here knew exactly what he ate as he was pulling into the parking lot. Now that he is passed my husband and I will come and eat occasionally. It is always so good and the girls/guys who work there are always so friendly and ask how our family is doing. They always make me feel so welcome!

The best we've had in Waco. Since My husband is a former chef he was blown away at all the stuff made in house. He's very picky and can tell when things are from a can or frozen. He loved this place. The different salsas were amazing and the cheese dip was great. It doesn't look like much but it is so worth it. And our server Krista was wonderfully helpful and nice. Can't wait to go back and try the other dishes.

Stopped in for breakfast and this place did not disappoint. I ordered a custom plate of Chilaquiles, green sauce, no chorizo, with two over easy eggs. It came with homemade flour tortillas, beans, potatoes, and Carne.. it was an amazing Plato of authentic Mexican food. So delicious and flavorful. The salsa was great also.. reasonably priced and large portions. I highly recomend.

Very good food, great ambiance and friendly staff. We had the delicious Menudo, on a Thursday, which is unheard of any where. The rice and beans in the combination plate was cooked perfectly. The kids enjoyed a nice Mexican Shrimp Cocktail. Tasteful Mexican music played in the background at a nice volume level. All staff was very friendly and gave great customer service. The whole restaurant, including restroom was presentable and clean. Will definitely be back and recommend you stop by.

In picture is the shrimp cocktail and enchiladas. The food was really good and so were the chips and salsa that were offered. A really good place if you are in the area and love Mexican food. The shrimp cocktail was really the hero here. I never tried something like this before so it was very appealing and also very tasty. 10/10 would recommend.

We got the fajita for 2 please. I am a crunchy taco fanatic so I got one. The food was yum yummy in the tummy good. One thing my wife kept saying was "here's another shrimp". Ok this was from a recommendation from a lady that cuts my hair. Wife wasn't sure at first but with the idea of a cold michelada she was game. So it started off with me checking out the restroom and it was clean. Then we hot sauce was awesome, then the hugh michelada' and with the recommendation for Lewis, our waiter we got the multi meat fajita plate for two was over the top. It came with beans rice and cheese plate, fajita meat, chicken, shrimp & sausage. I keep hearing my wife saying "theres another shrimp". Im a crunchy taco lover so i had to have one and it was delishess. We were well served, well feed and left overly stuffed. Its on the list for another vist.

The place was almost packed when we got there and quickly filled up so we had to wait a little longer but when breakfast came out it was really good. Convenient location makes for a great meal be it breakfast, lunch or dinner.

This is hands-down one of the best places to eat in Waco. The salsa is served warm, which I love so much, and they give you a very generous amount to start with (so if you're like me - pretty much a chips & salsa human vacuum - you'll love it). I haven't had a dish there I haven't liked. My favorite is the chicken enchiladas served with a big, tasty michelada. The only reason it's four stars instead of five is that the service can be pretty slow at times, but the food is so good that I don't mind the wait. I moved out of the Waco area a few months ago, but it's on my list of places to go every time we visit :)

Used to like going there for breakfast. Lately menudo tastes different and they hardly put any meat in the soup. Breakfast plates have become bland. Not the valles i used to enjoy. Paul and Sonya are great waiters, even though he's a Commanders fan. LoL. We still go, occasionally.

Ok, there's a million mexican restaurants in waco, everyone has their favorites. This one has become a fav of mine because of a few reasons. The service that I've experienced has never been bad, the foods always been decent, well cooked and fast and hot. The price is nice. They have daily specials that are really reasonable, good salsa and chips. Huge menu with lots of options. Well priced. Can't complain. Edit.... I've still been dinning here. Still just as good. Great service, fast and friendly.

We usually get the three breakfast taco special but chose eggs a large Mexicana this morning. The fixed the like we requested...light on the jalapeños and they were wonderful. We usually sit in Paul's section, he is very attentive and provides excellent service. Great value for the price, great food and service.

The staff is pretty nice, and the service was fast for our moderate size group. I'm not really a salsa person, but it was pretty much just liquid (it was different than I've noticed at other restaurants, but maybe it's fine?) We're for sure going to come back soon!

Went with friends. First time trying this restaurant out. Friendly wait staff, great salsa and chips. Homemade corn tortillas were good. Wish they had homemade flour ones though. Price was good. Small parking lot.

When it comes to menudo on a Sunday after a night of drinking lol.. This is the place to go if you want big meaty pieces of tripe. I have double meat in this photo, prices are very affordable and their tripe taste so beefy. You know it has to be the real deal. The only reason I gave them four stars is because in my opinion their flour tortillas are not the best that I've tried here in the Waco area. But their food I have never had any complaints. Open on Sundays till 10:00 p.m.

This is a great place for a quick bite - their service is extremely fast and they give you a good amount of food for what you pay for. Greasy tacos, inconsistent quality. Sometimes good, sometimes not. Sometimes the steak tacos are nice strips of steak, sometimes it's chopped up chewy steak like meat. If you like lots of onions and cilantro then make sure you order it "light on onions and cilantro" and you will get plenty extra. Sometimes food is missing and they will insist you got it even though you didn't. Much better places in town to eat at.

You pay for what you get... The food is lackluster in flavor, but for a drive thru restraunt its about the same level as an average taco truck.

Breakfast burritos suck here. They put WAY more eggs than the other ingredients. Some of the ladies are a bit rude. They don't know the science behind Flat Sodas and too Much Carbonated Sodas.

Salsa is tomato soup base so it's not very good even if it is free. Enchilada sauce is probably one of the worst. Taco meat is over seasoned with large chunks of uncooked vegetables mixed in. Overall I can't say it was the worst but that doesn't mean it's good.

It's an ok place to visit if you are desperate. Customer service is below average. The food is not the best but its edible. If you want some ok menudo then this place will probably do. It use to be great but it is definitely lacking better waiters, waitresses and food. I'd rather go to Taco bell to be honest.

My wife's plate was tasteless. No flavor. My tacos we're good, but the avacado looked like it'd seen much better days. The soda was FLAT and WARM despite being filled with ice?!? Not sure how that's even possible....? For $25 for a few tacos and a drink, I expect much more. Not sure we'll try again.

Food was okay at best. I was so hopeful to find a good local Mexican restaurant. Got my food to go on the way home. Service was quick and friendly, BUT EVERYTHING WAS WRONG. Every dish was incomplete. Each meal was missing things that are clearly included on their menu. In addition each meal was wrong! You'll get friendly service, but expect that it doesn't matter what you order because they will get it wrong for sure.

One plate was good but how is beef nachos not, sauce was ok though. I usually love smaller places because you get authentic flavors unlike chain food. Maybe I could try something different and try again.

Ordered the grilled chicken salad with avocado lettuce bell pepper onion and sour cream. I looked great taste good but where is the lettuce. I may have had more tomato slices than lettuce.This item has little to no lettuce hence the word "salad". Very disappointed.And if you leave your tray to the left or right the bottom is flooded with water so you have to drain your salad. Not at all worth my $12.82. Will never order this item again. I feel ripped off.

Tried a new place for breakfast tacos and I'm not impressed at all. Compared to the other place we get tacos these are TINY and the tortillas don't taste fresh or homemade. The lady who was at the window was very friendly and that's the only up side.

I used to go to this place every week almost getting the same thing. A fajita burrito. Then one day i realized the fajita meat kept being over cooked almost burnt. So i decided to try the breakfast burrito. I got bacon egg potatoe n cheese. My boyfriend the same. When we ate them. There was all eggs n potatoe. Hardly any meat. I told him well maybe they were only 3$ my boyfriend said no we paid 12$ for both. I thought wierd since we pay 4$ for a fajita burrito. And these were disgusting and not even worth the money. I just realized that they have fell off as a business. Its too many bad experiences at this place where the food isnt up to par. My kids hate thier cheese enchiladas. One time i got thier 12 tacos special and the taco meat was unedible. I see now why most of my friends do not like the food there. Plus the tortillas are not even authenic. The service is usually good as lomg as you dont have to talk to the owners. The owners are rude and do not have customer service. They take no responsibility in thier lack of effort on the food quality. So i have not been back. Its been almost a year and i plan on never going back. And that gies for my friends as well.

Place took forever for two burritos. 45 minutes and I know because checked what time I messaged my gf when I placed the order. Literally about to ask for a refund when my food was handed to me. I hate this place it’s always been mediocre every time i been there. I’m from Waco I avoid this place I go to la familia or renee’s restaurant, better prices and faster service.

This place is nasty I ordered 3 items enchiladas, Flautus, and Fajita nachos. The nachos literally made me wanna throw up the moment I opened them. The tortillas used to make the enchiladas taste awkward but they were somewhat bearable. The flautus were bomb can’t lie lol. I ordered through the drive through and ate at home. When I called to request not a refund but just to exchange the nachos for more Flautus I was basically told no. Anyway moral to the story is if you try this place dine in don’t order to go because it’s nasty. Your better off going to chipotle or hell even Taco Bell 🤷🏾‍♀️🤮

Well came to get there menudo when I got home they for got the tortillas and fixens for the menudo. I git all the way home and they told me three times it should be in your bag sir and I expaiexpl each time over and over it's not. They finally said with an attitude well you can come back and get it sir! Very disrespectful. Very unsatisfied!!!!

Incredibly poor quality food. The food had no flavor whatsoever, and was very low quality. The wait to get our food was extremely long and then the food was only slightly warm. Hash browns were no where near cooked properly. Overall poor experience.

Very bad experience. I went through the drive thru and ordered a burrito with sausage bacon potatoes and cheese. I didn’t open the foil wrapping until I got home and to my surprise I had a burrito full of potatoes a half piece of bacon and no visible sausage just a lump of potatoes for $10. Typically I and my family enjoy eating here. The waitress spilled my sons and my mother in laws menudo when she served it. Mine and my husband's enchiladas were barely warm. The food definitely was not good like it normally is. The waitress keeps just staring at us and we are about done she has not even came to check on us. It took her 3 times to get our order right. And while we were asking for to go containers she walked off while we were trying to tell her how many we needed. This is on Tuesday 2/22/2022. We got here about 430 pm. She is the worst waitress ever. Oh and stood at our table watching put our food in our boxes like she's trying to rush us out. There is like only 1 other group here.

I bought 2 different enchilada dinners here a few days ago for my husband and I. Unfortunately I looked at the reviews for this place and thought their food must be good. This was not true for my experience. I would have rather eaten a TV dinner than what I had from Valle's. The beans and rice seemed like they were from a can. The chicken seemed off tasting. We couldn't even finish half of the food, also the chips were stale. So I'll end this by saying, I will never eat there again, so I don't understand how this place had such good reviews.

Sign out front showed 3-Breakfast Tacos $3.50. I was treating my co-workers, I I ordered 4 orders which is $14.00 plus taxes. They charged me $18.00 plus taxes. I called to complain and she told me, oh, the sign is wrong, they need to change it. I then said but I was over charged and she said they are $4.50 now. I repeated that the sign says $3.50. She repeated that the sign needs to be changed. Never offered to refund me so I hung up on her. I won’t be going back there. This is NOT a way to do business.

My food was not what we ordered first off. The plate I ended up with was like a fajita plate with no flavor crunchy onions & peppers and meat so tasteless that I wanted to add fajita seasoning to the whole thing. My order beef fajita cooked in tomatoes and onions with jalapenos. Not 1 tomato or jalapenos in the plate. This was really a bad experience for my family and we used to love this place. Not much now after it seemed like it started skimping on the love of their food.

I placed an order through the drive thru. I ordered a burrito from there, Chorizo, egg potato and beans. I got home and started to eat on it, I noticed the burrito was dry, I opened it up and barely saw any beans. I called them up to make a complaint and told them that there wasn't any beans, and you know what she told me, she said, " they did put beans on it, I saw them smear the beans on the tortilla". Smh, I was just talking to my daughter about strips doing the same thang. I actually told them to put beans and not smear it. This was not my first burrito, they weren't shy about putting beans on there burrito during my past visit. Mind you just the burrito was over 9 dollars.it wasn't worth it. Beans are cheap, but for this owner to just act like it wasn't a big deal, should be a worry. Plus the food didn't even ha e any taste. Take what you want from this, but its the truth!
