Palace Dumplings is an absolute gem that we wish we lived closer to! My husband recently stopped by on his way home from a business trip, and despite living three hours away, he made sure to bring me my favorite dishes, packing them carefully to ensure they arrived just as fresh and delicious as if we were eating there. Their flavor salad is always a highlight and must have item. If we win the lottery we will buy the recipe lol. And of course, the dumplings are simply out of this world. Every bite is perfectly seasoned, and the variety is unbeatable. Whether it’s a quick detour or a planned stop, we never miss the chance to visit when we’re in the area. We’ve managed to make it here at least twice a year, but we honestly wish it could be a daily indulgence! The food quality and taste make it well worth the drive. It’s become a tradition for us, and if only we lived nearby, we'd likely be regulars. Until then, we’ll keep dreaming about our next trip to Palace Dumplings! Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, delicious dumplings.

Such a good spot! I’ve heard about this place for a while and had to drive up to try it. Their fried beef and onion dumpling was so good, my favorite of the two we got, with the steamed pork and shrimp dumpling tasting like a really good wonton. You can tell their dough and fillings are fresh. Also really enjoyed their unique flavor salad with chicken and horseradish. Would skip the bubble tea next time which was too sweet and get a ton more dumplings. The whole vibe of the place is so laidback and Jeremiah our server was the best! Had such helpful recommendations and was so generous and kind to us. 5 stars!!!

Boba tea was great, beef noodles were super super good. Lo mein was great and of course the dumplings and sauces for em. Great staff and regulars there. The beef noodles had a bunch of beef on top but I had already eaten it before I remembered to take a pic. You also get more dumplings than what's pictured, we had already eaten some of those too.

This as not your corner Chinese American food. Nor is it Cantonese food, this is the food of the north of China. AND Authentic. Absolutely delicious! Noodles are fresh, firm and chewy. ZhaJiangMain (the quintessential noodle of Beijing, meat sauce noodles) was served room temperature, I was a bit surprised by this bc I usually had it hot but was savory and tasty. Beef noodle soup, very satisfying! Also had the thin tofu noodle salad as an appetizer, nice and chewy. To jump start our immune system for the cold weather, we also had the Tiger Grass Salad of raw onions, mildly spicy green peppers, cilantro w little fried matchstick potatoes. This was a great accompaniment to the heaviness of the noodles and dumplings. This place is definitely a must do after a day spent hiking in upstate NY. The quality of the food actually surpassed restaurants in NYC…that’s a high compliment.

Drove 40 min (one way) to get here and it was worth it! It’s so far the only NOT “American Chinese”- Chinese place in the Hudson valley that I’ve found. What great food. Everything is fresh and made to order. I’ll compare all future dumplings I eat to these dumplings. Nothing beats the flavor of the spicy noodle soup either. There was only one man working the front of house which was packed, with two parties waiting, and at least 5 people waiting for take out. He was a machine. The people here work extremely hard. I’ll be back to support this place for sure.

I love this place so much. The food is sooo delicious, priced great, and the service is fast. Highly recommend the shrimp and pork dumplings as well as the sesame noodles. & You must get the spicy tiger salad ! It’s such a great palate cleanser throughout the meal. My friends and I crave this food and we come here any chance we get.

I have been missing good Chinese food which is oddly hard to find in the Hudson Valley considering some of the highest rated restaurants are Chinese. I keep trying Chinese places recommended by friends and they’re all the same super greasy MSG joints with menus filled with foods you’d never find in China. I heard great things about Palace Dumplings and made the 40 minute drive to check it out but kept expectations low. So glad I came here! It’s great! We ordered fried pork and chive dumplings (SO good! Will absolutely get again), the shrimp egg and cucumber steamed dumplings (good but not my favorite), the sesame noodles which were fresh, plentiful and delicious, and the kimchi which was good but was a tad on the sweet side. All in all, happy to give this place five stars and look forward to coming back and ordering the same pork dumplings while trying out other menu items.

Really good dumplings and you get 12 per order at a great price. Got my beef dumplings fried and my wife got her pork dumplings steamed. Read another review about the sesame noodles being fantastic so i decided to order it and it was soo good. The noodles were room temperature with this delicious ginger sauce that i would absolutely order again. My wife also loved her spicy noodle soup which she has gotten before. Nice spot in wappingers falls to check out for good dumplings.

The atmosphere is simple but clean. Food was outstanding! Spicy noodle soup, chicken lomein, and fried chicken and cabbage dumplings were so fresh and flavorful. Portions are huge, and we took our leftovers home to enjoy tomorrow as well!

My friends absolutely love this place. It's not bad, I just dont understand the hype. I'm not a huge fan of dumplings to begin with, so maybe that's why I'm not super impressed. The dumplings are ok - a bit bland, in my opinion. The dipping sauces are good and way more tasteful. I ordered fried dumplings, which were an extra $2 - which seems ridiculous to me because they only fry one side. It's not using $2 more of time or product to fry one side of a dumpling. The prices are a little high to begin with ($12 for an order of 8 dumplings) so to charge an extra $2 brings it even more over the top. The fried rice is very good but also pricey - $12 for a basic portion of fried rice with no meat. Overall, it's not very tastey and a bit pricey, so I would ony come back here if my friends outvote me.

To be fair I did not have the dumplings but what I had was probably the worst Chinese food I ever ate. I had what they called vegetable fried rice. It was white rice with a few peas and a few carrots, just awful. Also ordered noodles with peanut sauce. Overcooked noodles with a measly amount of peanut sauce on top that tasted I can't even describe what it tasted like awful. And not cheap $25 for that awful order. Will definitely not be going back.

We would like to try all varieties of their food. From dumplings to noodles and rice. The meat on the noodles are way salty. And ordered another beef noodles soup, the meat was tough , chewy and not edible. We ends up just paid $25 for 2 bowls of plain noodles. The dumplings wasn’t same as before. The filling was saltier than before, I can’t dip their own sauce coz way too salty itself. The fried rice basically are oil MIX with white rice with just couples thin slice of Chinese sausage.
