Super hip and cute vibes. JJ is the best axe throwing trainer!! He taught our group all the basics and continued to help us improve our skills! He was really patient and is an excellent teacher. We had so much fun playing all the different games, who knew tic tac toe with an axe spin could be so competitive and so fun!

Was kind of skeptical about this place at first BUT friends finally convinced me to come in last Saturday and it was actually a great ambiance and vibe. So much fun! my bartender Jessica was very attentive and surprisingly knowledgeable on her spirits and cocktails. Loved her and will be coming back soon! :)

So this place was pretty decent. We had a company event hosted here and I was thoroughly impressed. However, be forewarned, it is a warehouse so the circulation of air is almost non-existent but if you're not dancing and moving around much you should be fine (take note, five and below and big lots both have battery operated personal fans, best take one with you on the safe side.)

We held our first office outing here since COVID and our experience couldn't have been better. We had a group of roughly 30-35 people, and the staff were more than accommodating! We ordered food in advance which was ready upon arrival, and having multiple bartenders made ordering a breeze! Definitely would recommend this place!

Wonderful. First floor is a bar, eating and several sitting areas, and multiple throwing ranges. Second floor is a cabana themed food and hangout area with some outdoor seating as well. Everything is very detailed down to high quality paper straws in the drinks. You can tell everything is well thought out and well maintained. The throwing itself was delightful and certainly a workout. I went in a group of 2, but especially with the second floor hangout space (and the DJ up there), larger hangouts are also super possible.

Great experience, great staff. When entering a bit of a line and the bar gets a little crowded. Wouldn't recommend for kids under 10, but overall we had a fantastic time as a date night. The food looked great and the staff was friendly. Be prepared to tip your coach at the end!

Today was my first day attending one of the Kick Axe Throwing locations. I must say, it was a work out in the arms and SUPER FUN. The magnificent Jerome Johnson was the instructor who gave clear instruction on how, what to do, and what not to do when handling the axe. 5 stars. They will be seeing me again.

Took my family there on Saturday. The place was buzzing with energy and fun. We reserved an axe throwing lane and my 3 boys (10, 14, 17) had a blast...it took a minute to get it down but we had a great instructor help us out with technique. After an hour, we went upstairs and were blown away (again) by the atmosphere and energy up there. We ordered wings(which were legit!) and played football bowling which was so fun none of us wanted to leave. There were a few other games up there but we ran out of time. The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. No question, we'll be back!

This was my first time here and it won’t be my last. The atmosphere was chill and the drinks was amazing! Alex helped show us the proper way to throw and he made it easy and was super helpful with some tips. Alex is a rockstar!

I enjoyed the ambiance, and the staff was accommodating. The bartender made our drinks worthy of praise. Due to our skill level, the football bowling put us to shame (happily). Plenty of photos can be taken in this bar (upstairs or downstairs). Nearby restaurants are within walking distance. Please visit you won't be disappointed

My friends and I had a great time here! The atmosphere is inviting & great for pictures! However, the staff really make the place! My husband and I had a timing issue (we were late for our group reservation) and I spoke to Michael, the manager, and he was super helpful and accommodating! He worked out something for our party and we were able to really enjoy ourselves! Shoutout to Frank, as well, for allowing us to have fun upstairs! If you’re reading this, do yourself a favor and go! They have great COVID policies. So, you are/feel safe while having fun! We will definitely be back!

Me and my friends had a BLAST here! It was our first time axe throwing and the person assigned to help us was awesome. I can't remember his name but he was a white guy that wore a patterned bandana as a mask. He was super personable, friendly and helpful coming over multiple times to check on us, encourage us and give us little tips to get closer to the bullseye. We will definitely be back. I didn't drink anything but my friends and I did try the food...my friend said the chicken satay was really good and my other friend and I had the steak but it was just okay. They also have a business upstairs that we didn't venture to but it looked like a lot of people were going up there. When you're not throwing axes they have a bar and comfortable seating for you to relax and just enjoy being out. Overall a really fun outing. If you're thinking about coming here just do it.

We had so much fun doing axe throwing. We loved that we had our own space and could throw as much as we wanted during our allotted time. The drinks were delicious and the small bites were yummy. We both had side car martinis to drink and the steak satay skewers and mini pepperoni pizza for food. All of the staff members were very kind and had great conversation. Pooh bear was friendly and great with giving us some throwing tips, Daren made great drinks and was super friendly, and the manager was awesome. He gave us a tour and introduced us to axe throwing. It was also great to have the TVs around so we could watch the Steelers beat the Cowboys while we were there! That was a plus. We will definitely be returning soon!

J
Jennifer Driver

Went here yesterday for my birthday. We had eight folks with us so we had our own lane. Kenny was our attendant and was wonderful. I didn’t realize there was a structure for throwing (various games and point systems). This place was great. Highly recommend for a friend outing, stress reliever, or whatever else you need. I did have one major downside- it takes FOREVER to get drinks at the bar. When you have limited throwing time and it takes 20 mins for a drink at the bar, it’s frustrating

F
Frank Williams

A lot more polished than other axe throwing places. And the snacks on the menu weren't bad at all.

L
LawdLady Farquaad

We ended up having a blast. Our original time slot didn’t have our 2 lanes together, so the manager moved us to VIP and accommodated us with champagne 🍾 and chips with queen, guac and salsa during our wait. To get our lanes together. Very much appreciative of the staff and our trainer who was very informative and helpful. Bring family or date night, come to enjoy! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The service was amazing! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. This was our first time going axe throwing, and I could not have asked for a better experience. Steak skewers and chips + salsa were good! Would not recommend Mac and cheese bites.

So much fun! Alejandro, DJ, and Jake are super cool. Great drinks and great staff. We felt welcome as soon as we came in the door. After showing us how to be safe and proper technique, they turned us loose and we all had a blast.

We did a group event for about 40 people there. Nice spot, very good for a larger group. The food was good and the service was great. We had a lot of fun, and it’s not as hard as you’d think for people of varying abilities.

My partner and I stopped in for a drink to wind down from the week and had such a great time-we stayed for several after connecting with the bartender, Jessica. She was really engaging and had great recommendations for things to try on the menu- both food and drinks. Jessica really brought the energy and good vibes. The ambiance was really laid back with great bar conversation. Thanks Jessica! We’ll be back soon.

I went and had a ball here the staff was fun and amazing and definitely had the personality i was looking for during the games. I would recommend this especially for family/friends/ and dates... Went by this place with some coworkers on Friday, it was really cool. We sat at the bar and ordered some drinks Jessica the bartender was super friendly and her service was top notch. Jessica was attentive and kept checking on us throughout the night. She may be the only reason we go back, she struck random conversation with us and it was really cool.

We had a great time. Nice space, food and drinks easy to access, and just the right amount of time. The nachos took me back to 90s movie theater dates in junior high (in a good way). Rae (not sure spelling) was our instructor and she was fantastic. Can’t wait to go again.

I visited D.C. over the weekend, my family and I wanted to try out kick axe, and I must say it was an absolute blast! From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is welcoming and energetic. The staff are super friendly and make sure even beginners get the hang of it. If you're looking for a memorable and adventurous activity in D.C., Kick Axe Throwing is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Kick Axe is SO FUN! My instructor was hilarious and the venue is amazing. Had such a good time being competitive with a friend. The drink list was good and it was cool being able to safely drink and throw axes. I scheduled my session online beforehand and the pricing was very reasonable unlike some other places. Will go back.

We had a group event and Chyna and DJ made sure we had a blast! They were both very friendly and welcoming. They provided great customer service and the atmosphere was awesome! Both Chyna and DJ went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time… and could get the axe to stay on the board! 10/10 would recommend. We definitely will be coming back. Everyone had a great time!

My friends and I had an awesome experience. The service was great with kind, efficient and knowledgeable staff. The pulled pork sliders and wings (recommended by our server) are hands down a must try. The axe throwing was super fun and relevantly easy to get the swing of it (pun intended). I recommend coming to kick axe with friends, family or even a date. I’m looking forward to our next visit.

Kway was our bartender and he is amazing! Our small chops (apps) were delish... I got the kick my axe wings and chicken Street tacos! The experience was lively and fun as well. Definitely coming back! We did not get to go upstairs to the game section so will check that out on next visit.

The instructor Manny was AMAZING! 😊 this was my first time ever going axe throwing and he helped me become a pro. Between working the bar, working as a server AND an instructor for my group and another group all at once, he was still very attentive, high energy and overall a lot of fun to have around. I don’t think this place could run so smoothly without him and he definitely deserves a raise. When I go back, he’s definitely the person I’m going to ask for. #TeamPisces

I hosted a team building event at the Kick Axe DC location last night and it was amazing! The event planning and coordination was seamless and the people on-site were amazing at their jobs! When you walked in, the atmosphere was great and the music playing was top tier. Our team did axe throwing, had drinks and small bites, and played games like big Jenga and uno. Everyone at the event had a great time and we would definitely consider coming back for the next team building event. Thank you so much staff and team for making this event great!

This was a fun time. Went here with friends and our teenage daughters. There was 6 of us. The teens had to be out by 9pm so we made sure our reservation was made at a time for them to be gone in time. We had chips and queso. Chips and guac. Wings. The adults had drinks. Kids sodas. The food was average and my drink was strong. No complaints.

I can't thank Lynne and her team enough for making our holiday party such a memorable event! From start to finish, everything was flawless. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and everyone couldn't stop talking about it. The staff went above and beyond—welcoming, accommodating, and attentive to every detail, both upstairs and downstairs. Came to write specifically about how incredible Mary Jane's service was. She is top-tier. Also, her recommendation to combine Old Bay and Mambo sauce on the wings turned out quite well. Some of the food arrived late for our party, but Mary Jane did a great job of keeping us updated. Great vibe! Highly recommend. (Did not do axe throwing. Our crew just got food and drinks).

Went here for a date and we had a fantastic time. The atmosphere is great, and DJ did an amazing job of showing us the ropes and enhancing our experience. At $30 pp for an hour, this was comparable to bowling, and more fun (in my opinion). Overall a great time, and I'm planning on bringing my friend group around.

Very adult but relaxed lodge like atmosphere with great staff. An adult play room is more of what comes to mind. You can have a bite to eat with adult beverages play UNO with extra large cards, extra large scale Jenga, extra large oversized connect 4 or in there case connect 6. I have been here 3 times already and plan to visit again. Great date night or fun friends get together spot.

This place was SO MUCH FUN. We went for my partners birthday and even tho it was just 2 of us, it was so much fun. Staff was fantastic. We did the axe throwing as well as the nerf. Axe throwing is definitely more fun but it was still fun being able to shoot a bunch of different nerf guns. The interactive games you can play for both are also a fun idea. Definitely adds something extra to everything vs just throwing at a simple target over and over again for an hour. Bar was great with delicious cocktails. The place was really fun and cool, with a ton of awesome sitting places. You could chill at the bar or other cool seating that also had other games you could play like giant janga or giant connect four. Will definitely be back again!

Met up with a friend for some quality hangout time. The place was pretty empty (Monday afternoon) but the staff were all awesome. We never felt rushed or pressured, and we always had support if we needed it. The axe throwing with projection is pretty fun. We failed at all of em but had a great time!

I had such a blast at Kick Axe Throwing!! There is so much versatility in the space and a whole range of options of things to do!! There’s giant Jenga, a bunch of board games, giant Connect 4, a bar with a host of fantastic cocktails to choose from plus so so much more. The music was also really on point and had me adding a bunch of songs to my playlist!! Of course, there is the axe throwing… Which I 10/10 would recommend doing. We made a reservation on the same day, and were lucky there were slots available!! Before starting we got a 5-10 min tutorial on safety rules and technique with throwing the axe 🪓 , which helped A LOT & also made me super comfortable. I liked the energy a lot — there were a good range of birthdays being celebrated, dates happening, friends hanging out… It was an all round great vibe!! I’m looking forward to going back and maybe grabbing some drinks, food, and playing some jumbo Jenga!!!

I really had a great time here. Came for a staff social event and I was very hesitant about participating at first but who knew I would end up being a pro. That may have helped make this a five star event for me. Here are some takeaways: Environment Large fun filled space - once you walk in there is the a bar and behind the bar is the area where you throw axes. There, they have the throwing area and kind of this bar area for folks who want to hang back and watch their friends or colleagues throw axes. It was really cool space with neat decorations hanging around the area that really inspires the fun nature. Service All the staff were welcoming and friendly. They have staff that give instructions and help out with the axe area. They are full of great energy and made us feel welcome in the space. Food and drinks The drinks were fine - nothing that stood out but got the job done. I can't speak to price because this was a company event so not sure if you get the bang for you buck here. Overall I had a blast. It was a lot of fun to throw axes - who would've known! Would definitely go back.

Quick summary: go for the Rooftop. My office held our holiday outing here on a Thursday evening. We were able to find street parking since it was after 630pm. As we waited for the whole group, we went by the fireplace to play big Jenga. They had other games to pass the time with also. Once everyone arrived and we signed our waivers, Kevin was our instructor and took good care of us. We started at throw 12 and saw behind us the glow option and asked to switch lanes. They were more than accommodating on that night, which I know was because the traffic of people was manageable. Food wise enjoyed the Mac and cheese bites and tacos. There were also wings, chicken nachos, and pig in a blanket we ordered as shareables. Time went quickly since we only had an hour with 8 people. We sat in the den to talk about our year and upcoming holiday plans. We were wrapping up, and I wanted to see the upstairs area. SHOULD'VE STARTED AT THROW SOCIAL. As soon as the elevator hit the second floor, I could hear one of my favorite songs through the elevator door. I was on the dance floor in under a minute and stayed on there for 20 minutes straight. The ladies on my team said we'll make this a ladies' night out stop for sure.

Amazing place to get together with friends. We did a veterans event. They have 10% for military. Make sure to check out both downstairs and upstairs. Didn't get any food. The drinks were way small for a lot of money but a cool spot. I got a axe bullseye. Will def go back! They do have some early happy hours but missed those.

I’m so happy to finally write a positive review. Our experience here was great! From check in to the games. Everyone was inclusive, funny and engaging. My family really enjoyed themselves and I know it’s because of the environment that team created. They all seemed to really enjoy what they do. Our hosts DJ (both of them), were great and made all of us feel included. I even have to shout out the check in guy. He was so funny. He mocked me, but in a funny way that we’re all still talking about. I hope everyone gives this place and the people that work here their credit 👏🏽

Definitely had no clue what to expect when I booked this experience and this place exceeded expectations by far. When you reserve a bay, you are set up with an instructor to teach throwing technique. Once you get used to throwing, there are games to play and keep score. Our instructor Taco went above and beyond to make sure we had a good experience. The waiting area has a lounge and games to play. There’s also a full bar and some food items to order. Throw Social is attached and offers more games, a bar, and music. You can essentially spend the entire evening here and be entertained the entirety of the time. Highly recommend.

Our boss took us for a team outing on a Thursday after work. This place is such a great place to have fun with friends, family, co-workers, or a date night. The atmosphere is welcoming and charmingly chic country and the staff makes it a great time! I hear they have a nice rooftop bar and social area I'll have to check out next time.

I came here for my birthday and had so much fun! The bartenders were nice and the ladies who checked us in, food was good, and drinks were ok for DC. Our instructor Preston was so sweet and cool! VISIT THIS PLACE ASAP!!!!! I must say that first! After living in DC for 10 years, I can confidently say this is one of the top spots I've been to for just an all-around amazing time with excellent drinks, outstanding customer service (Andre!!!!) and incredible entertainment! We accidentally went to the wrong spot first (use caution: there's another axe throwing place close by and it's NOTHING like this spot) so we called to say we wouldn't be there the 20 minutes early that they suggest. I do suggest you get there those 20 minutes as you have to sign waivers, get drinks and then listen to instruction. Luckily there was nobody blocked for our lane after us so they were very accommodating and it was no big deal. You will walk in and want to spend several minutes just taking in the scenery. The decor and neon signs are spectacular. It's an IG paradise for sure. I recommend going at least 30-45 minutes early so you can have a drink or 2 first. There are tables and couches and a fireplace to enjoy while you wait. Our axe-throwing guide was Andre and he was SO FUN! He was entertaining and such a joy for the entire group. He also came by nonstop to give us tips and advice on how to throw. I went from not being able to hit any part of the wood to getting the bullseye several times before we left. He would also clean our empty cups from the area and he just ensured our time spent there was absolutely enjoyable. When you're done, GO UPSTAIRS! Do not leave without at least visiting their sister spot (Throw Social) upstairs. You can read my review of that spot next. TIPS: Make sure you are going to Kick Axe and not another spot! Get there early! AT LEAST 20 minutes but to really enjoy it, have a pregame drink and be able to take everything in, I say 45 minutes. We had a group of 5 and it was a good number. I would say 6 is good per booth. More than that, split up and get another booth because this ensures everyone gets plenty of chances to throw.

Donté F.

Well this spot is pretty cool if you want a drink and to throw an axe lol. It's super fun for a group to hang out and play games also. Bartenders were fun but drinks could use a bit of work. The best drink was the bourbon bramble I had one from each of the bartenders and each time it was different, it wasn't bad but nothing to brag about. I would recommend this spot for the younger crowd or hype older crowd. Good chill vibes.... Parking sucks in this area btw.

We went with a large group of friends, I think we were about 15, and we had a great time. The reservation was easy, we checked in a few minutes early, and our spots we ready on time (they gave us two). The atmosphere was unique, seemed like every probably glows in the dark. Then they have a lounge area in the front with a giant fireplace. The food and drinks were pretty good! They had a variety of beers on tap. We had the tacos, churros, nachos, wings, and cheese bites, they were all really good! The guy that did our pre-axe show was too fast. He spoke way too fast and we he showed us how to handle the axe, but did not demonstrate an axe throw. We struggled at first, but we learned how to do it after watching another group. We didn't stay for karaoke, but they had a huge stage upstairs and plenty of seating. Reminded me of a mini American Idol show, was pretty cool. Highly likely we'll be back the next time we're in town!

Loved it here!! All of the employees were super helpful! Rivaldo was our instructor and he was so fun and I’m sure a group of 7 women gave him a hard time, lolollol! We didn’t get drinks here because we didn’t want to waste our hour at the bar. There should be staff running food and drinks from this area. We got drinks from Throw Social before our reservation time. The entire environment here was amazing we really enjoyed ourselves. A little disheartening to hear the instructors work for tips, they should be paid a living wage. We paid $30pp for our group of 7 to play and they should receive some of that.. My review for Throw Social upstairs is on their google page.

I would give 5 stars but the service at check-in needs improvement. I know we are coming of the pandemic and good training and staffing may be hard to find right now but excellent customer service is a must. Especially during inflation people want to feel the product and service they receive is worth the higher cost. In this case the venue is spacious, ambience, vibe, food is excellent. With a step up in the customer service area this place would Kick Axe every time!

Fantastic time. Josh is an amazing host. Explains the rules and technique really well and is very attentive in coming back to check on the group. Drinks were good. Food menu could use some more choices though.

First time there was yesterday and I had fun!!! Mostly everything was good! The instructor, the environment. It was nice! They can do better with the drinks or have a whole new drink menu (on paper too). But besides that I had a good time! I will go back!

Arrived a few minutes prior to start the reservation. We did have a bit of a wait but it was definitely worth it. The staff provided clear instructions. And even came back around to assist if he saw our throwing was raggedy. The food was good. And the bathrooms were clean and well stocked. I would come back

Very nice axe throwing lanes and cool atmosphere! They have projections on the wood and tons of fun mini games to incorporate to your axe throwing experience. Food and drinks met my expectations! The only reason I am giving it 4-stars is because they want you to pay extra to have your own lane. For the regular fee, you will be placed with strangers unless you are a group of four. Besides this, everything else was to my liking and I had a great time!

This was our first visit and we had a great time! I recommend getting there early and arrive a bit before your reservation to maximize your experience. We were lucky to only have 4 of us in a bay the entire time. I can't imagine 8 people from different groups sharing a bay. I couldn't give a five star review for the following reasons: It took FOREVER for my husband's beer to arrive but our cocktail order came in a timely manner 🤔 We were told it was because they only had one bartender. The food menu is limited and just okay. We had tortilla chips with guacamole and salsa (seemed like all store bought?), chicken tacos (chicken had little flavor), and BBQ pork sliders (the best of what we had). I would recommend having drinks and appetizers and having dinner someplace nearby later. Finally, we went upstairs to the Club but we walked out quickly. It is a huge turn off when my shoes stick to the floor. It was only 8:00 and the evening was just getting started so I didn't understand why my shoe stuck to the floor with Every. Step. 😬 Overall, our experience was positive and we are looking forward to coming back. We are thinking about returning for the Drag Queen Mother's Day brunch. Kick 🪓!

Drinks and games are good. Usually pretty lively but can also get ratchet quickly.

For a date idea I very much enjoyed, especially because there weren’t any people inside much on a Friday night. There was no air…the drinks were okay…earlier before my date that day I sat at the bar and had some nachos. The food was horrible. The bartender that’s brown skin with locs that look like he in his mid 30’s had to double make my drink and was not welcoming. After telling him I’m paying with cash he pretty much said let’s close this out as if I was not going to order anything else, plus no one else was there. He didn’t print me a receipt so I didn’t know how much was what, if I should or shouldn’t tip him, and he was very inattentive. I shouldn’t have to ask for napkins, forks, basic necessities. On the floor with the axe throwing there was ONE person who made my date and myself feel like we didn’t need to leave. He was my instructor had pink hair and was amazing energy.

Nice atmosphere....has games..this is a great social networking atmospheric hangout spot. Great for birthday parties for all ages...food isn't of the "knock your socks off" quality..takes a good while to get to your table...order everything ahead of time...like order everything at once 😄.

Had a great date night here! Made reservations for the 90 minute session. We were grouped with a few other people so you rotate throwing, they were a cool group. The instructor was helpful with instructions and guidance. Drinks were good but of course overpriced (a D.C. thing for sure). Only setback was the menu is limited and they use an air fryer for everything. Food was barely just decent. So next time I will eat before I go or plan to go somewhere else for a good meal afterwords.

Extremely slow bar service, even with only a few customers and three bartenders and a bar back. Why? Not sure. All three seemed to be more interested in talking with each other than greeting and serving the guests. Maybe slow service at the bar is our penance for having a great axe throwing experience. Alex took great care of us, taught us how to throw, and checked on us several times to make sure we were having fun. Get him behind the bar and you'd definitely see the review ratings go up!

We went on Father’s Day. It wasn’t crowded or busy. I really loved the ambiance. We made a reservation and we’re taken to our own booth immediately. One of the hosts gave us great axe throwing instructions! However, the food was horrible. We ordered “pulled pork”. The meat wasn’t shredded at all. It came in cubes of meat. The meat cubes were severely over cooked and rock hard. The buns were clearly from a grocery store and the bbq sauce was sweet baby ray’s and it was cold. Their sprite was flat their cider was just ok. Our server complained about his previous table walking out on the bill and we understood why. He never came to check on us, we had to go find him to get our check and pay our tab; he was busy eating food from the grill, drinking, and having a good time while we sat there and waited.

we came here on a Saturday night, with a private lane reservation. It was very busy and loud. The bar was busy. We got one round of drinks when we arrived, but we were not able to get in a food order. It was very difficult to get anyone's attention at the bar. Customer service was very lacking. As far as the reason why you go to Kick Axe, Eric was very nice. Gave a good lesson and provided 1:1 assistance if needed. I feel like his instruction/lesson was included in our 1 hour rental. I was watching the time and he came over to say we had gone over 15 min, and I thought we had at least 15 min left. Either way, the axe throwing was fun but if i were to ever return (which i doubt), i would go on like a weekday afternoon (if they are open).

The bartender made passive aggressive comments about our drink orders from the menu yet claimed she “wasn’t being judgmental” when confronted. The axe throwing instructor wasn’t much of an “instructor” but rather a babysitter. It seems it’s up to you to figure out how to throw if you’re having trouble sticking the board, even though the instructors remind you to tip them at the end. It was difficult to find a good groove of throwing style when you’re constantly being cycled out for the next people to go up and throw although there is an option to buy out the lane. The axe handles felt like they could use a good wipe down— why were they slimy? We did enjoy the concept of meeting random folks and playing games with others on the same throwing lanes. It was just too hot to really be enjoyable. I think it was actually cooler outside than inside and everyone around us was glistening with sweat and wiping their brows. No air conditioning? Overall, it was OK but not worth the price compared to other axe throwing places and I don’t think we’ll be back.

Avoid if you are planning on drinking, even on a day that was barely any people there, she must be paid hourly and not by tips because she had no interest in helping anyone out other than the people she knew. She ignored our group and even gave an eye roll when she tried to take the order of the guy next to us and he mentioned we've been waiting before him. I would say avoid it if you plan on drinking but do go if you want to throw some axes. That was pretty fun.

Went for a date night it was ok. The food was decently priced and tasted decent. The drinks took forever to arrive, so long that I went to the bar and still didn’t get seen by the one bartender on a Friday night after 8. They gave free entry to upstairs which was cool. It’s was 17 bartenders there and everyone just stood around until one decided to help me. I felt Like nobody offered customer service outside of the hostess or there were extremely under staffed. They made me sign a waiver that they never even asked for. They were using cash app for a lot, which as a grown adult I don’t want to do and is completely a waste of time because not everyone wants to use cash app. Anyways will I be back ?maybe, maybe not, it’s no rush to return .

I will start by saying the atmosphere is super cute at this place! Unfortunately, that’s the only thing I can compliment… We called the night before to make a reservation since we have a gift card and you cannot redeem the gift card online on the scheduling website… That’s the first problem. We were told that we could just walk in even on a Saturday night and the longest wait we would have would be about 30 minutes. We were offered to somehow make a reservation payment over the phone, but we’re told that it was really not necessary so we did not. Showed up on the night that we called about and the computer systems were down… No big deal things happen but we waited about 10 minutes while listening to two employees talk about who was going to tell us that the place was booked for a corporate event and we weren’t going to be able to play by the time the event started. They eventually told us that they weren’t accepting walk-ins and told us to come back another time… they did not offer to make a reservation for us. We were not offered a complementary beverage or appetizer or anything… And to top it off, we lost money by going there because we had to pay for the public parking garage and this business does not validate parking nor do they have their own. Drove 45 minutes each direction and barely got a “sorry”. Disappointed by lack of customer service.

Let me explain why I rated them 2 stars. The bartender was very unprofessional. I ordered 2 drinks and some pretzels. Closing my tab out she said "all you have to do is sign.... just sign.... just sign". That's a red flag 🚩 to me so I said I will let me just look over it. She said " it's ok just sign". She already added her tip. She walks away with an attitude. That's not right let me decide about the tip so I decided not to leave one. Just imagine how many others she does the samething too especially if there drunk. I will never buy anything from there again. I will say everything else is 5 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 from checking in to our host. It was an amazing experience. I would definitely come back again. The ambiance is phenomenal. Make sure yall check yall receipts.

Brought my girl here recently, heard the tacos were great! (and they were 🔥🌮) but there was this employee guy, Lenard or something like that - weird chain around his neck and looked like he was on drugs.. he was trying to get my girls' number right in front of me.. really unprofessional - and my girl might go back ... but I know I most certainly won't

Of the axe throwing places I’ve been to this is the worst. Not only did they shove 11 of us on one bay while charging by the hour per person while the next one was empty, but it’s the only place that hasn’t left a probe round to help coach people. A rip off for $38/person

Honestly the experience wasn’t good. There was multiplier technical difficulties during our reservation last night at 10:00 pm. My girlfriend and I were the only two in the building so we would think that only handling two people at the axe throwing station would be smooth and easy but it wasn’t. Every time we tried to pick a new game the screen froze and then we would just throw the axe in the meantime until it started working again. Music was too loud and overall the experience was ratchet. Wouldn’t recommend for $75 alone for throwing axes.

Rude service. We arrived 5 min late and were given a buzzer to wait for our turn. After 25min of waiting, we asked what was going on and were then informed that since we were 5 minutes late, they rescheduled us for an hour later. I don’t mind being rescheduled but not being told was what frustrated us. Bar service is was fine, drinks were fine. Just a frustrating experience overall.

Would give zero stars if I could. Waited 45min for our 8pm reservation. Just to hear that the people ahead of us had been waiting since 7:30. Decided to ask for a refund instead of continuing to wait. Spoke to the manager Dave who assured us we’d get refunded in 2-3 business days. I only received a partial refund and then received an email from them for a “modified” reservation from 2 people to 1. That was not what we discussed and that did not happen as we left for the extremely long wait time. Had to dispute this with my bank to receive my full refund.

Absolute waste of $100 and an awful experience. The “Wizards World” pop up was a nonexistent gimmick. They had the house flags over a couple of the barely visible black light throwing lanes and that’s it. The specialty drinks and food items were not on the menu and no option to do the whole “wand painting thing”, which my date was excited to do. The Harry Potter theme was the whole reason why we decided to go. The ax throwing experience also left much to be desired. Granted we went early in the afternoon, but it felt like we were a huge inconvenience to the people working there. There was no one at the front desk, the bartenders were sitting around the bar, and no one greeted us. We walked around a bit before finding some one to check us in. We started up our time after a very brief talk with our instructor, and that’s it. The lanes were rough. The wood was so messed up that the axes barely stayed in and would bounce out on a direct, flush hit. The axes themselves were absolutely disgusting. Sticky, dirty, tape half unwrapped, and our hands were left black after a couple minutes. We ordered a drink, it never showed up. Went to the bar and everyone was sitting around and I had to wave at someone to get help. They said they never got the order and instead of just making the drink and bringing it over, they made my date bring her phone out and show the email receipt before they would make it. Then 5 minutes later we were told we have 5-10 minutes left, which was 20 minutes before the end of our hour time, and it was absolutely empty We ended up just stopping early and leaving, about not acknowledged or told to have a good day or awful. I can easily see why this place was so dead and wish I could get my money back. I’ll be sure to tell anyone interested in ax throwing in the area to avoid this place like the plague.

Sat down and it took about 20 minutes to get a server to ask us what we wanted to eat after I got up twice to ask about if a server is supposed to come to our table. Once we got our food it was some of the worst I've ever tasted. The pork tacos were the least seasoned I've ever had and the pigs in a blanket were so burnt I couldn't finish eating them all. There is no urgency here to serve customers and lack of care for quality of food. Such a disappointment.

We made a reservation (days before) and when we arrived, the manager tells us that it will be an hour wait because their website allowed too many people to book the same reservation time. He then proceeds to say that we cannot receive a refund because we booked online and he has no control over the payment system. Terrible customer service.
