The food is always great. When I am served I can always know it will be the same taste as before. No surprise added ingredient the cook is trying out. The pumpkin pancakes are so great wish they would serve on Sunday all year, quite a treat.

Had breakfast with my parents and sister before heading home from a trip to celebrate a graduation. The service was great. The wait staff was quick and courteous. Food was good and the prices were reasonable. Great overall experience.

Went here since I saw a couple of dinner specials being advertised outside the store. Had trouble finding a menu item that I saw online but not in the restaurant. Fortunately, my server Yael was quick and understanding to help me find the menu item. Even though I was here in the last hour, service and wood wait times were fairly quick. My pancakes were soft and fluffy. I would definitely come here again! Edit: came here again on 2/8/23. This time a waitress named Dulce was kind and patient with my order and I. My to go burger came out within a very reasonable amount of time. I would still recommend this place.

The food was good along with the thermos pot of coffee on the table I had pancakes extra crispy bacon the way I like it & poached eggs IHOP makes the best pancakes.

The place was empty so we got top of the line service not to mention that it was my baby's birthday....happy birthday Jude!!!

I like this location much better than the one on Washington Blvd in Whittier also. It's not as crowded and a better environment in my opinion. The wait wasn't long to be seated nor to have our order taken. The food arrived at an expected time as well. They have an all you can eat pancakes 🥞 special going on, so for all you sweet toothes take advantage 🐷. I'm a foodie and after my meal I ate 5x of them 😳

Service was wonderful I was there with my first wife granddaughters and my stepson for all you can eat pancakes was very attentive and I would say and I totally love IHOP my grandkids are forever grateful they love their pancakes

Most of the breakfast items we ordered were good but nothing look like the pictures. I was greatly disappointed by their gluten free pancakes. They were not as tried at other locations. Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Ordered a discounted 55+ senior breakfast and substituted (my favorite) protein pancakes for the basic. The plate was very warm and kept the food warm throughout the meal. Eggs overeasy and crispy bacon. All cooked as ordered. Pancakes were a smaller than regular plates. Still, plenty of food. Jose took care of everything I needed during the meal. Helpful, efficient and kept the table from being cluttered. Parking was easy and everything, in and out, was clean and well maintained. Stop on by when you have a chance. Lots of upgrades are happening.

I went this past weekend and received amazing service. Staff were so nice and helpful. Food was amazing! The pancakes definitely did not disappoint. Will be back soon!

We had to wait for 20 minutes to get our order taken. Then we had to wait 40 minutes to get our food. Wile we were waiting for our food we saw 2 tables getting their food before we did and they were seated a few minutes after us.

The food is always delicious, no doubt. Everything we have eaten at IHop, we've never had a problem with what we order. The seating is a little too closed in. Well, to me the tables are too close together but if you like or don't mind the closeness you'll be ok. I myself like a little space unless it's family or friends. Service is great and the place is very clean. Parking is good, so all in all, this IHop is good eats for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Happy eating 😋 everyone, and be safe ❤️ 🙏

Fine as always. Had no problem with service, infact I think the manager was walking around asking people about it. As for the food, I ordered a burger this time which wasn't as good as I'd expect, but still okay. If I had any suggestions for people eating it'd probably be to to stick with the breakfast items.

We came in and it was a bit busy, which I understand because it was only 11am. But we were ignored by staff when we got there until we were given a table, the place is way too crowded tables completely back to the wall I think to maximize space and table availability but we felt squished. We asked for 2 waters, a coffee, and an orange juice, we got 3 waters and a coffee, no orange juice. She didn't even write down our drinks or anything, just did it all from memory but didn't get it even though we asked again. We got our food after almost an hour, there were blueberries on my chocolate chip pancakes, my boyfriend's pancakes were burnt. So the food overall just wasn't great. Don't think I'll visit this location again.

Food portioning was small. Service was abissmal. Constantly reminding the waitress of what we requested (initial drink order, request for straws, refills, etc...). Was my first time to this location. I won't be returning. Limited parking unless you park next to Carl's Jr. Looks like mostly new staff. Not well trained. It will be a large learning curve.

It's showing how many corners are being cut. I got toast, and only a single slice of four was buttered. For a menu item they charge as much as a whole loaf of bread for, I'd hope for a bit better.

Has been our spot for several years. However last few times we have arrived and ordered restaurant is not full at all!! Has taken around 45 minutes to be served. Food arrives cold and wait is so long. I have asked why is our food taken so long 😩. Never have an answer. I want old IHOP back service was fast and good!

Horrible service. Food was terrible. Again. HORRIBLE SERVICE! TRAIN YOUR STAFF!!! I had to send steak back 3 times. Kid chef comes out being a smart-xxx asking if I want it well done! I ordered med rare !?! It looks like bloody wet rubber !!! Then Manager leaves the steak on my receipt and gives me 50% off instead of removing the steak and then doing a discount for the nightmare of service!!! We will NEVER TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Horrific service: I went with my two daughters the place was not busy yet they took for ever to sit us down. Once they took our order the coffee cup had lipstick and was completely dirty. After waiting for over 40 minutes (on a empty restaurant) for our food they only brought for one of my daughter. We had to wait additional 15 minutes for a our order witch was completely wrong. We were so hungry that had to eat it. NEVER COMING BACK.

Food is delicious however the service was horrible today...my mother and I sat for almost an hour waiting to get our order taken...when I addressed this with the manager, no apology was issued and we were not offered any kind of compensation for the inconvenience...

Worst customer service they sit you by the bathrooms only to forget you say there for 20 minutes to wait for a table and then another 20 minutes to order. Server give us napkins. We asked three times. The food was really rubbery wasn’t good at all. My food was burnt. not very happy at all.

I ordered an omelet with onion, green pepper and mushrooms and hash browns.The omelet was burnt, it tasted and smelled terrible. They served it to me. I could not eat it and I left. Their cook leaves much to be desired. Awful! I waited about 25 minutes to receive my order after it was ordered.

First time going to this location and I almost immediately got a stomachache after a few bites of pancake and had to use the bathroom. It was a highly concerning experience just because of the sheer speed in which I felt sick to my stomach. Server also forgot about our table for a while and offered no refills.

Went to have breakfast & ordered off the 55 & over menu. 1st time using Senior rates👍. Staff was nice & restaurant was clean...then it took 50 minutes for our food to come out, which it never came out. We complained at 35 minutes when one waitress said it's coming out now. Then another 10 minutes when by- we decided to leave. By that time we excused ourselves, told the manager & the waitress was chasing us out the door to say our food is ready. Sorry, not sorry. That urgency should have been communicated at 15 minutes into our wait time!!!

The worst service ever! Their just like Norms restaurants! We were seated, then it took 15 min for us to ask for our waitress, 2 other couples got seated way after us, and was acknowledged and served within 5min! The server/waitress I thought that at the time there she was nice, but had a change of heart when I got home and looked at receipt. The server charged on my bill the food of my friend companion who ate with me. At the restaurant she set up the tip by herself at 18% , I set it up for 15%. Should have seen the red flag but I was in a hurry. Oh yes, I told her to charge my friend first, so he paid his bill, thus, it was a redundant transaction for him, one on his bill and one on my bill. I will definitely not go there anymore by choice unless my company insists. You lost my business. I suggest she gets retraining or have a talk with her about being conniving.

And to top it all off, our waitress seemed to have woken up on the wrong side of the bed and was as rude as can be. When we asked for a fresh pot of coffee, we were given a lukewarm brew that had clearly been sitting around for hours. It was enough to make us shiver! In conclusion, if you value your sanity, avoid IHOP in Whittier on a Sunday morning. Or any morning, for that matter.
