Great place to get some delicious food. Our server (Daniel) was fantastic. Very attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back again.

The service abd food is great here. My kids and I enjoyed a late breakfast. We were in and out in about 1hr 15min. Everthing came at the same time and was hot not to mention the crowd of people.

Reason i give this location 5 stars is 100% because of our server Daniel! We decided to come to ihop on whittier around 5ish. New years day. Daniel was very welcoming and made us feel comfortable. Its rare you get to experience great service from great employees. Today i can say i am happy because Daniel was very cheerful and always had a genuine smile. We dont normally like to tip large or tip at all but this time we did tip more than average because we had a great dinning experience. Food was great by the way! Thank you for having Daniel represent ihop as it should be! Inviting and happy!

I had not been to IHOP for some time & so I decided to have my dinner here after my dental appointment. As always, IHOP always maintains that welcome feeling with plenty of booths & tables to choose from, which are clean & the dining area is always brightly lìt. I especially enjoyed hearing my favorite oldies, but goodies nostalgic rock from the 50s & 60's puts me on a feel-good mode, remembering when life was much simpler back then. My waitress was very sweet & helpful & we actually chatted a while after I had my veggie omlette with wheat toast . Yes, IHOP is the way to go if you want a simple, relaxed dining experience 😉

Our server was Juan who was very pleasant to talk to and made sure our needs were met. He greeted us with a wonderful smile 😃

I am so happy we chose to come here! I've never been to IHOP but it was SO good! Our server and hostess was awesome and although they were extremely busy they got us sat within 5 minutes! Our food took awhile but it was worth the wait!

There were only gluten free pancakes or waffles for those with gluten sensitivity, but they were fluffy and delicious! Everything was cooked perfectly, and it was a good environment for our breakfast party of 8 which was half kids.

This location is pretty roomy and nice. I like the fact that it never seems to be too crowded and the waiters and waitresses are nice and attentive. There are always a lot of great food options...

The food is always great. When I am served I can always know it will be the same taste as before. No surprise added ingredient the cook is trying out. The pumpkin pancakes are so great wish they would serve on Sunday all year, quite a treat.

Had breakfast with my parents and sister before heading home from a trip to celebrate a graduation. The service was great. The wait staff was quick and courteous. Food was good and the prices were reasonable. Great overall experience.

Went here since I saw a couple of dinner specials being advertised outside the store. Had trouble finding a menu item that I saw online but not in the restaurant. Fortunately, my server Yael was quick and understanding to help me find the menu item. Even though I was here in the last hour, service and wood wait times were fairly quick. My pancakes were soft and fluffy. I would definitely come here again! Edit: came here again on 2/8/23. This time a waitress named Dulce was kind and patient with my order and I. My to go burger came out within a very reasonable amount of time. I would still recommend this place.

The food was good along with the thermos pot of coffee on the table I had pancakes extra crispy bacon the way I like it & poached eggs IHOP makes the best pancakes.

It was very nice to eat outside, is the only way right now. Food was good and hot, is clean and surprisingly fast on service.

After the remodeling it has become much louder inside. No carpeting to absorb the sound. Still the same food and service.

Very nice spot in whittier! Fast service, when you get here early, after 10 am! Very busy on weekends! Cold inside sometimes, AC full blast, bring a sweater, LOL!

It was a little late at night but not bad. While not to many people inside the food took a while but Cailyn did a great job keeping us engaged and made sure we had everything we needed while waiting for the food. Cailyn's work ethic was outstanding.

We ordered a veggie breakfast omelette with egg whites. But the cook forgot only egg whites. Our waiter said sorry he forgot. We didn't send it back because we know they would just throw it away. Otherwise, it all went well. I had my pancakes

Food was good and the staff was friendly. Only issue was we didn't see the staff very often... It was nice and clean though and as I said, when we interacted with the staff, they were friendly and helpful.

We had to wait for 20 minutes to get our order taken. Then we had to wait 40 minutes to get our food. Wile we were waiting for our food we saw 2 tables getting their food before we did and they were seated a few minutes after us.

The food is always delicious, no doubt. Everything we have eaten at IHop, we've never had a problem with what we order. The seating is a little too closed in. Well, to me the tables are too close together but if you like or don't mind the closeness you'll be ok. I myself like a little space unless it's family or friends. Service is great and the place is very clean. Parking is good, so all in all, this IHop is good eats for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Happy eating 😋 everyone, and be safe ❤️ 🙏

Fine as always. Had no problem with service, infact I think the manager was walking around asking people about it. As for the food, I ordered a burger this time which wasn't as good as I'd expect, but still okay. If I had any suggestions for people eating it'd probably be to to stick with the breakfast items.

Another place that is not really for dinners or lunches. IHOP has always been famous for pancakes and waffles breakfast food. I wouldn't go there anymore unless I want breakfast

Ordered the crips cream cheese with cinnamon Campbell had to send back when I hash potatoes they were over cooked and slightly cold was not too happy the choice did I ordered for the crypt was kind of cold too but I don't want to send that back but I'll be going back to Denny's in the future

This location the food was ok. Service was terrible and it was during the week at 10am so not very crowded. Crepes are great, good burger, fries were cold.

Service slow, portions small, price high for just breakfast. Paid $17 for the Hawaiian Bread French Toast special, with coffee. Portions were absolutely tiny!!!

I can't give a 4 or 5 star. Seemed like they might be short help. Went to breakfast. Long wait to get my cold food. Friendly waitstaff the 2 times we saw her. Clean bathrooms. I noticed a "now hiring" sign in the window so maybe that why the service wasn't up to par. I'd give it another try just because of their reputation.

I had breakfast at IHOP in Whittier Blvd and order grill chicken bowl breakfast I asked for over medium eggs and the waitress asked me what I wanted for my side hash browns or pancakes I thought that it came with hash browns but she insisted for my choice I wanted my eggs with hash browns I got over hard eggs and the dish had hash browns with a side of hash browns instead of the pancakes that I was craving everything very dry

Portions are super small. I ordered the "Special" Pancakes, eggs, sausage & hash browns. The pancakes are mini. Made from gingerbread batter. Tasted more like a cookie than pancakes. Not at all what I expected, and again..... Super Small Portions!

IHOP happens to be one of my favs for breakfast, but when you wait for an hour for your food to be served, it makes you wonder if management cares about providing a good experience for the customers. I'm glad I can always go elsewhere.

But we were ignored by staff when we got there until we were given a table, the place is way too crowded tables completely back to the wall I think to maximize space and table availability but we felt squished. We asked for 2 waters, a coffee, and an orange juice, we got 3 waters and a coffee, no orange juice. She didn't even write down our drinks or anything, just did it all from memory but didn't get it even though we asked again. We got our food after almost an hour, there were blueberries on my chocolate chip pancakes, my boyfriend's pancakes were burnt. So the food overall just wasn't great. Don't think I'll visit this location again.

Food portioning was small. Service was abissmal. Constantly reminding the waitress of what we requested (initial drink order, request for straws, refills, etc...). Was my first time to this location. I won't be returning. Limited parking unless you park next to Carl's Jr. Looks like mostly new staff. Not well trained. It will be a large learning curve.

It's showing how many corners are being cut. I got toast, and only a single slice of four was buttered. For a menu item they charge as much as a whole loaf of bread for, I'd hope for a bit better.

Came to pick up an order, took forever just to receive assistance and food was not ready when it was supposed to be, I have no issue with waiting but do not tell me to be there at a certain time for things to not be ready. At the same time was almost ignored while waiting even though I was next person in line will not be ordering from this specific IHOP again.

Our server Gregorio did not have an appropriate attitude. When we arived,the restaurant was nearly empty. We placed our order and not long after afew of his friends or family showed up to eat as well. He immediately forgot about us and was occupied with them. Like 15 minutes later they're already eating while we wait, finally after 45 minutes our food arrived but again he forgot about us because he was socialising😕 He tried to hurry his other 2 tables so that he may socialize more with his friends. Usually, much higher. I Selected something to heavy for my consumption. This time my mind made an appointment my tummy couldn't keep. Our server was a delight, our coffee was great.

My friend and I went here we both got the pancake combo, the eggs where supposed to be sunny side, when we got the food the eggs look fine on top but underneath was not cooked, I took one bite and now I can't stop throwing up, I can't even keep water down. I'm never coming back here again

3.49 for 2 slices of burnt toast, 4.29 for 2 under cooked turkey sausage patties... Switched servers half way thru and was forgotten about until it was time to pay... First and last time coming to I Hop.. Nasty food not worth the money spent... Go to Mimi's Cafe or The Original Pancake house if you're in the Whittier area, great food and service!

Very upset waited for 40 minutes for food and i only got coffee with out creamers. I left because our food never arived and i dnt even revied on apology we left amd they wanted me to pay for food that never came to my table. Im only payed for the coffee. Never again Bad customer service.

Had only one employee to wait on all tables and act as hostess, telling customers to sit anywhere, having busboy bring out menus, never coming to table, obviously. I guess management is too cheap to hire more employees. Walked out before ordering because no one waited on me.

This place has the worst customer service. I try and make healthy choices with my food so instead of wanting hash browns I ask if it can be substituted, the waitress tells me because of the price difference they can do it. I originally was willing to pay the difference but they refused to do it. Then in my food any my friends we both found hairs. Because we told the waitress about it her manager decided to give us a glare from across the room assuming it was our fault. Never coming back.

DUMBEST seating EVER. Why would they put 3 tables in the middle of the room right next to each other. SERIOUSLY USE COMMON SENSE. How the hell are people supposed to eat comfortable when you can't even fit. Service SUCKS. Food was NASTY. Won't be coming back.

I ordered med rare !?! It looks like bloody wet rubber !!! Then Manager leaves the steak on my receipt and gives me 50% off instead of removing the steak and then doing a discount for the nightmare of service!!! We will NEVER TRY THIS PLACE AGAIN.

Horrific service: I went with my two daughters the place was not busy yet they took for ever to sit us down. Once they took our order the coffee cup had lipstick and was completely dirty. After waiting for over 40 minutes (on a empty restaurant) for our food they only brought for one of my daughter. We had to wait additional 15 minutes for a our order witch was completely wrong. We were so hungry that had to eat it. NEVER COMING BACK.

I ordered an omelet with onion, green pepper and mushrooms and hash browns.The omelet was burnt, it tasted and smelled terrible. They served it to me. I could not eat it and I left. Their cook leaves much to be desired. Awful! I waited about 25 minutes to receive my order after it was ordered.

First time going to this location and I almost immediately got a stomachache after a few bites of pancake and had to use the bathroom. It was a highly concerning experience just because of the sheer speed in which I felt sick to my stomach. Server also forgot about our table for a while and offered no refills.

Went to have breakfast & ordered off the 55 & over menu. 1st time using Senior rates👍. Staff was nice & restaurant was clean...then it took 50 minutes for our food to come out, which it never came out. We complained at 35 minutes when one waitress said it's coming out now. Then another 10 minutes when by- we decided to leave. By that time we excused ourselves, told the manager & the waitress was chasing us out the door to say our food is ready. Sorry, not sorry. That urgency should have been communicated at 15 minutes into our wait time!!!

We were seated, then it took 15 min for us to ask for our waitress, 2 other couples got seated way after us, and was acknowledged and served within 5min! The server charged on my bill the food of my friend companion who ate with me. At the restaurant she set up the tip by herself at 18% , I set it up for 15%. Should have seen the red flag but I was in a hurry. Oh yes, I told her to charge my friend first, so he paid his bill, thus, it was a redundant transaction for him, one on his bill and one on my bill. I will definitely not go there anymore by choice unless my company insists. You lost my business. I suggest she gets retraining or have a talk with her about being conniving.
