Let's start with me being pregnant and craving the best of the best pizza. We were way out of area (from the veryyyy south towns) and wanted zettis pizza, well they were seized and nys took it over. My first thought was darn, now what. I looked up the closest pizza place and found pizza works. BOY DID PIZZA WORK!! the pizza and wings amazed me. The small chicken finger pizza I got (medium sauce) was bigger then expected and has more of a kick then I thought. Hands down on my top 3 most loved chicken finger pizzas. My kids nearly ate their whole slices and a chicken wing, they never finish.-. My husband, who said he wasn't really hungry, ate 8 out of 10 wings we were sharing. Freakkkinnnn' deliciousness. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT. PIZZA REALLY DOES WORK!!!

Love Pizza Works. The pizza is like the Old Fashion style pizza,the pep.was a little brunt on the sides, the sauce was amazing so was the crust. Ppl are VERY nice. It's our GO TO PLACE. Try the tacos too. AWESOME

Ordered gf pizza, which was baked just right & wings, which were expensive, but delicious. I had just this morning read about price increases for wings..... well, they are now 10 for $14.95 I think. I decided to bite the bullet and get a single order. Not disappointed!!

Buffalo is a pretty intense pizza town. Everyone has their favorites. But I recently discovered this place and enjoy it very much. It kinda reminds me of homemade/school lunch pizza. I know that may sound bad, but it is actually pretty delicious. Kinda makes me feel like I’m having a guilty pleasure. Their prices r extremely good. Lunch special I can get 2 slices, a pop, and salad for 7 bucks. Visit u won’t regret it!

I loved their pizza, delicious, and freshly hot. Came in, staff was friendly got a combo really cheap and my hot fries were done in less than 5 min. Overall good experience, 10/10 recommend.

They have become our go-to pizza and wing place. The pizza with traditional sauce is very good,but the sweet sauce is my favorite. Unfortunately, the rest of the family won't eat onions. The service is outstanding. We've never had a problem with an order, and it's always ready on time. Give them a try,You won't be sorry that you did.

Pizza had lots of toppings, wings weren’t overtly saucy. It was all around an excellent meal. We brought our 1.5 year old with us and dined in, the gentleman working the counter was super kind, gave her carrots to snack on while we waited for our food. We will be back our next trip across the border (Canadian). Place was very clean as well.

We have patronized this restaurant for years while taking multiple kids to/from the hockey rink nearby. Always had excellent service and great food, including for a number of hockey team parties. We understand that the restaurant was sold a couple of years ago, but was repurchased by the original owners two months ago. Since that time, we have had two excellent experiences with them. Fantastic service, excellent food, great people. They have recruited a good team, and they are in the process of training them. Great, local business. We will continue to buy our game-day food there!

My first visit and definitely will not be my last. Locally owned. I like supporting supporting family businesses. The pizzas were very good. Not too heavy. The pasta had a good firmness. Ingredients were fresh and flavourful. A nice balance. This location looked nice and clean. Tables for dining in. Of course, take out. Go try them out. The more support, the more Pizza Works locations that are possible. I hear they are also opening a location off Millersport Highway. PIZZA WORKS!

Lunch time is their best time. They have lunch deals $6, $7, or $8 and your choosing a whole or half sub & small salad, either includes a fountain beverage... Or "pizza 🍕 works" in their lunch deals... When the weather is nice you can sit outside (ok your overlooking a parking lot) but your outside and NOT in your Dilbertville cube for lunch. 👍 This is the Steak in the grass! 👊

They have a lot of options.. I tried the veggie pizza and it was very good.. the large size it actually very big..

From start to finish, this was an extremely easy process to order catering for an all-employee event. I was able to connect with the owner fairly easily by calling and requesting to place a catering order in advance, the gentleman who anesthetized phone was very polite too! I advised what we needed and when, given a fair price for what our needs were and based on the conversation I had no worries about our pickup. Our food was hot and ready when they said it would be and staff even helped load it in our company van. Our food was clearly labeled and packaged so that we were able to set up, serve quickly and store some in our warmers. The pizza was cut into even portions and the wings were so plans juicy and sauced well! The food was delicious and we had so many coming back for 2nds. I was too busy with set up to get may pictures but we ordered 1 large veggie pizza, 1 large chicken finger pizza, 400 wings( plain, mild, medium, hot and bbq) and 7 sheets of pizza (cheese and pepperoni) and a large pan of salad.

The staff is also so kind and helpful even in the busiest situations. Our food is always so good

Finally had a chance to order when they are open. Non Monday. I ordered “sweet” sauce. Maybe for my first time I shouldn’t have for my first. It was sweet. I was expecting sweeter. First time for us— we were driving by and said, “Hey let’s try their wings.” They were delicious. We got the mild sweet and tangy as hubby doesn’t like heat on his wings and they were really good — moist inside and crispy outside. The service was friendly and prompt.

First time ordering here. Pizza is hit or miss in the area so I’m usually hesitant to try new places. This was on the way home so I ordered. My family (including teenagers) all thought the pizza was excellent. Good proportion of sauce and cheese. Definitely adding Pizza Works to our rotation.

The Gluten free pizza was the best...but of course it would be...it came from Kith & Kin!! We loved the selection & we had more than enough for our crew. Everyone loved what we served!!

Been going there for years since my kids were little. Gone through different owners over the years but staff is very friendly and always liked the pizza. Prices are good and they have lunch specials. Especially like the large eat-in area with TV's, something you don't often get with pizza & sub joints. Also take out and delivery.

Didn't end up ordering. Too much noise in the restaurant for the girl on the phone to take my mobile order and credit card info. Love their food but got frustrated and hung up.

2015: hard working family & employees that aim to please. pizza is always very good... needs more generous toppings. cooked fresh so its always hot. pleasant atmosphere. 2022 update: Jim's the owner again and the food is as good as ever. Just love the pizza here. Fries are great too.

New owners are actually old owners for 20+ years. They sold the place a few years ago and just bought it back. I got a meatball sandwich. I would have liked if the roll was toasted longer and some of my meatballs were cold. Room for improvement but overall a good sandwich.

If you do a take out order online, they will automatically add a mandatory tip. That's not a good business practice.

Used to be my go to location for a quick and cheap lunch, however they recently raised the price of their lunch specials (for the second time in less than a year) and I no longer see the value in this place. Lunch specials used to be $6-7 and now have gone up to $7,8 and 9 for most subs. The chicken finger sub has gone from $6 to 9 within the past year. Just doesn't seem like a good value anymore. They have become just another Buffalo area pizza/sub joint. Very sad.

We each had chicken finger salads. At $14 each it was like only one chicken finger was used for all 3 of our salads unfortunately. Not enough chicken in our salads at all. Very disappointed. I guess next time we will stick w traditional pizza or wings etc versus salad . Otherwise it was good and my last visit there was great. The salad just had hardly any chicken in it. I'd have ordered a regular chef salad had I known....

My experience with pizza works was pretty subpar. I was hopeful based on the pictures I saw but overall the food was just okay. The pizza was nothing special, the breadsticks were decent, and the cajun fries tasted bland (tasted heat more then flavor). When I went to pick up my order they forgot my fries so they quickly tried to make them for me which was good of them and all but it just made the rest of my food get cold and the fries ended up being disappointing. I'm not sure if it was because it was rushed or that is how it is. The staff seemed nice but also scattered so maybe it was an off day. I'd be willing to go back and try them again. The restaurant itself seems nice and big. If I do try it again I'd try eating in.

Fish Fry: Picked up on time & it was not hot. Fries were undercooked and cold.Same for the Fish 1/2sub—cold. Disappointed!

Pizza is average/ very generic at best , not flavorful, was barely warm . Pizza crust isn't too good, Im betting its frozen pre baked , not fresh dough . I also had a sub recently that was pretty good. Overall food isn't impressive, needs work to improve, Staff and service were very good. If PW can make its food as good as the service, then they might go here. Im quite surprised that other people generously give much better reviews, it very over rated . I can make much better pizza myself.

I have been buying food from Pizza Works for over 25 years. Always great service and decent price and food quality. To my surprise today I purchased pizza and wings for my father's birthday. What a disappointment in our wings and pizza. They were very small and not what they use to be in the past. Barely anything on the bones. Our pizza was fair and nothing to brag about. When restaurant advertising Jumbo Size Wings and delicious, we are looking forward to actually seeing that. We will have to shop around and look for a better solution when we buy pizza and wings. Our total was almost $100.00 dollars. Very disappointing 😞 😩

Been going here for well over 10 years because my husband likes the steak sub. I don't think their subs are extraordinary. Pizza is not great. Sauce on the bitter side and cheese more like that on frozen pizzas. So I go but would never choose it. Staff friendly. But after all this time of being a customer, we walked into an hour after lunch special and owner, Jim, made a point of telling the staff person, rather loudly, make sure they don't get the lunch price. Really? I never asked for it. But it made for an uncomfortable moment. Guess what? That was our last visit. Pizza Works - where making a buck trumps long standing customers relationships.

This was my first and last time coming here. We walked in the door and there was a long line. There was only one person working the counter who also had to answer the phone. She answered 4 calls in a row and took their orders while the line of people who waited longer than the phone rang was getting very annoyed. Our order was finally taken and I was told it would be awhile. And when we finally got the food it was only ok. Every person picking up food were very annoyed and aggravated at the wait

I have been a customer for 8 yrs. Most time great. BUT, Worst pizza n wings today. Maybe bad timing ? All new workers looks teens.. OMG.. New owner ? changed staff too often.

Ordered steak pizza. Pizza was supposed to have garlic sauce, steak, mozzarella cheese, banana peppers, onions, cheddar cheese. The pizza was dried out, there was no cheddar cheese, the steak was only dumped in the middle, and was dried out and could not chew. When we told the staff about the cheddar cheese is missing they said oh did you want a cup of cheddar cheese. The pop was flat. The staff dropped a package of salad dressing on the floor and picked it up off the floor and handed it to the customer to use it.

I've been ordering from this place for at least 10 years now. The subs were always good in the past. Called today for a delivery and they told me after tax and delivery charge I had to order something else to meet a 15$ min to send out the delivery. What a joke, you lost a long time once loyal customer over 4$. I'll never order from here again.

I usually enjoy their Pizza I've had it a few times. Today I decided to order wings too, I specified extra crispy and received very undercooked chicken wings. When I called the restaurant to get them replaced the owner was very very nasty disrespectful and unaccommodating. She didn't even want a picture or allow me to bring them back. I will never order from them again. Terrible customer service!

I was looking for a good lunch special and saw a ton of signs outside of pizza works however I walked in there were roughly 4 people in the kitchen who all stared at me for 10 minutes before anyone decided to approach I didn’t make a big deal of it I just asked if the lunch specials came with fries or if it was chips the worker then looked at me and said sorry the lunch specials are over as it was roughly 3:15 PM after making me wait at the counter for about 10 minutes certainly lost my business and all of my coworkers as I’ll be letting them know about the experience… not even an attempt to say hey you can have a lunch special today because we made you wait for no reason while we sat there…..

Good food except 900 ON FRIDAYS NO DELIVERY rule of thumb - NEVER SEND YOUR CUSTOMERS TO YOUR COMPETITION Update: Ordered from again. 4 subs ($40) and 3rd time this week. Delivery order was incorrect. Called was argued with regarding what I ordered. Got in my truck went to place while my guests ate. Was argued with what I am assumming was the owner. Not I am sorry for the inconvenience just arguing what I have written down is, blah blah, blah..........asked for a refund. Poor thing was visibly upset. Did I hurt your poor little feelings snow flake. I'm sorry. Lol now they won't deliver. From the other reviews here if you are the owner keep pissing us off 1 the customer at a time. You will feel it eventually, but I somehow think you already are.

Food was disgusting, I will never eat here again. My pizza was cold and hard, my sub was dry no mayo or oil just full of lettuce, and the fries were over cooked in old grease. They had nerve to put the French fries in a greasy brown paper bag, Smh waste of money

If I could give negative I totally would! I had high hopes stopping here but now I see why noone was in the place! So so soooooo absolutely disappointing- the only thing that semi was worth it was the fountain drink! The pizza was trash! It was so old , soggy and tasted so disgusting I couldn't even eat a full bite! I ordered a chocolate chip cookie and it just crumbled into pieces when I opened it! I Understand when things are slow it may have sat a min or two but Holy jeez at least attempt to serve food that's edible at a food establishment- put a little effort into it- I wouldn't feed that pizza ro my dog ! Terrible service! Owner asked me if I wanted bag for my food, I said no thanks sir. He responded “Fine, you won’t get a bag then”. Then I proceeded to pay for my food and said “Thank you, have a good day!”. He responded “Thank you, I’m gunna”. Pizza was over cooked and wings were not made well with little to no sauce.

Ordered off the slice app and was given the wrong pizzas. Kids will not eat the ones we got and they were no help. We will NEVER order from Pizza Works or Slice again. What a waste of $52. Time to find a real pizzeria that actually uses there own app and stands behind their product.

I recently had a horrible experience with the customer service here, the employees were very rude and the food wasn't cooked all the way I had to finish cooking at my home. Called to request a refund and was hung up on twice. This is usually my go to place, but will no longer be ordering from here.

**BAD SERVICE** **COLD FOOD** wanna wait 35 minutes for 2 slices and a fry then this is your place to go! We had ordered there lunch special. The owners were present, they did not care for us much. Dirty looks in each direction I look. Not only waiting for that long for pizza, you'd expect a nice delicious warm slice of pizza for waiting. No it was the opposite, a soggy grease filled mess. Not my usual pizza works. So as we were waiting we had watched several customers walk in for slices and have received there slices before us as we have been waiting for 35 MINUTES. Unreal service. Very sad. Not only that there fries are half cooked and barely gave enough. What can you expect after a visit like this? A long toilet break. Not the pizza works I remember. "If your hungry, THIS pizza DOES NOT works"- should be there new slogan.

Disappointing portion in chicken to salad ratio and vegetables didn’t seem as fresh as possible. However the delivery time was fast.

I think this will be the last time I order from Pizza Works. I’ve lived around the corner from it my whole life and have gotten pizza from there for as long as they’ve been open but it just hasn’t been the same recently. We always get the sweet sauce and this last pizza was barely edible. The first bite was immediately off. The sauce was not sweet and tasted bitter, there were also large chunks of onion in the sauce which I don’t remember ever being there. I know there’s onion in the recipe but these chunks were a bit excessive. When I called to ask if they maybe used the wrong sauce or changed the sauce I was told “oh you probably got an old sauce” and told they would make a note of it. No offer to remake it so, I paid almost $30 for a bitter pizza that was made with “old sauce” that I won’t eat so, I think this will be my last order for this establishment.

4/23/20 First order last week was great, took 2 hrs. Order today was not, took 45 min.. ordered LCP and DCW xcrispy xchar on the pit, told them to take your time. Very inconsistent, half cooked, wings soft, half the wings or less were not flipped on the pit, just left there to burn. Called to let someone know who ever cooked the wings didn't care about there job, they offered to remake, told them these are going in trash and never ordering from there again (why would I want the same person remaking the wings again when it's not busy?). Would you eat those soggy wings? Pros: Pizza and good service. Cons: Whoever is cooking the wings is either inexperienced or just dosen't care about quality. No quality control checks. Result: Very disappointed and a waste of time.
