Kyle the GM is the man! His welcoming energy is awesome. We stopped through with our family of 8 after a day on the slopes. He provided exceptional customer service and it was evident he trained his team well. What a pleasure it was and the food was great too!! Keep up the awesome work Kyle!!
I’ve honestly never had better service at a fast-food restaurant. The food is great, but the customer service here is what really stands out. The staff is mostly younger employees, and they’re always polite, efficient, and professional — which pleasantly surprised me. The one time our order was messed up, the staff was extremely apologetic and went out of their way to make it right, even offering free food on a future visit. Months later, we ordered again and paid via the app completely forget about the free food. The manager/owner (not sure which) still remembered and made sure we didn’t forget for next time, all with a genuine smile. That level of care is rare. This A&W consistently proves why it’s worth coming

I would like to say I appreciate🙏 everybody who worked on this day at 3:20 p.m. on 12/6/2025. You young Men were respectful to me, as I had a bad encounter earlier with another location. 🤬👎( 1415 W Junction Rd, Jefferson, WI 53549 )👎🤬 I must say none of you guys were wearing shorts that came up past your knees showing your hairy legs & wearing outside clothing, and not once racial profile me or treat me any different 🤔You guys......here were wearing uniforms & the guy handled my fries when putting them in the bag with gloves I give you guys more than 5 stars. So I hope this finds you guys well in a good place of business need more respectful people in this world like this whole crew was.
Old school A&W with friendly family oriented staff. Kyle the manager very proud of his location, it's been there unchanged for over 50 years. Mug so frosty the root beer started to freeze and form slush. We got ice cream coins for the kids, a mug to take home, the kids and I are ecstatic. Overall A+ food, atmosphere and staff.
Stopped here last week for a quick bite. Kyle provided great customer service not only to us, but the neighboring tables. The experience made my kids big fans of A&W. We will be back when in the area!
The service was great. There was a construction worker who ordered for his crew ahead of us. They workers did a phenomenal job completing his order while working on ours. We had a minimal wait for our burger, chicken stripe and onion rings. The food was great and workers were so friendly. A manager was walking around checking on everyone to ensure we were all happy.
Very good food and service. The drive thru worker was so kind and friendly. It was very clear that she loved her job and took pride in it! Food was great, everything was hot and fresh, root beer was outstanding too. Wait time was minimal as well.
Quick stop and go as traveling. Right off interstate makes it even better.. got 3 PC strip meal with curds enough for an adult male
Pretty good food. The root beer is the best especially going in and getting a cold glass to put it in. Probably the best part of stopping by here. Always fresh tasting and the customer service is really good I have always felt welcome at this establishment.
Meant to review weeks ago but what AMAZING service at this A&W! We used to go to A&W all the time as kids so my mom was very excited to stop here on our mini road trip. We had two dogs with us and the staff was so incredibly kind. They brought us water bowls and pup cups for both dogs. Just so sweet and accommodating! The food was just a yummy as I remember when i was a kid 😋
One of the last few good Burger places I've ever been to all these business taxes are ruining good restaurants. They can't even afford to change the cartridges on their soda machine in most places I've been to in Illinois
Staff here are great and very fast. Food was better than I remembered from my high-school days. Will make it a point to get back there again.
Stopped by here for some supper and was impressed! Went thru drive thru and service was some of the best. Guy was friendly and upbeat. Got to the window and there was another guy and they both had smiles and great attitudes! The food was fresh and hot. Will definitely be back by here!
We really enjoy the rootbeer, rootbeer floats and lemon shake. They all tasted so good with hand battered cheese curd flavors and sauces and other menu options too though. With the frosted mugs you get free drink refills, all you can drink, so it's always nice to eat here inside for that, but the outside patio is available too!
Fast food restaurant... hard to say 5 stars for fast food, but it WAS good, and the staff was even friendly. Not the usual feel, like your bothering them by asking for burgers and fries. Owner was present and SUPER friendly as well. Stopped for fuel and there happened to be a Wednesday car show in the A&W parking lot! THAT was a very neat diversion as my intent was to simply fuel up and hit the road again. Ended up eating here and getting a refreshing experience not available most places anymore. I didn't take pics of my food. I did take a few pics of tge event as it too was unusual and casually fun. Vehicle owners present and chatty as well.
Food order was taken right away and came out hot and fresh shortly after. I got the chicken and waffle meal. The chicken was flavorful and moist but the waffle was small and hard. One small waffle and 3 good size chicken strips. This location had many workers but I didn't see anyone cleaning the tables which needed the attention. Other then the atmosphere and small waffle i think it was a good experience overall.
Cheese curds were good. Fries were good. Double cheeseburger had too much mustard on it; could barely taste the burger. Aw root beer was delicious! Love stopping here after a long road trip!
Well....I don't like to give negative reviews. However. The sandwiches were warm at best, and generally tasteless. The fries were pretty good (crispy), and the cheese curds were reportedly tasty. The men's room was very dingy; had to hesitate before touching any surface in there. On the positive side, the staff was very friendly. Too bad they have to work in a substandard facility. I suggest this place for an episode of "Restaurant Impossible." Definitely a "swing and miss." Sorry folks.
Your cashier for the drive thru needs to remove his additude. Almost removed it for him. It was our first time visiting a&w.Pulled up with my wife. We didn't know what was on the menu and he kept rushing us and asking if we were ready when I said we're just going to need a moment please, thank you. He then asked again. We were ready at that point in time but then after every individual thing we ordered he just kept saying does that complete your order in a miserable tone SMH. As a mma fighter I almost destroyed you dude and your lucky I was with my wife. You need to watch the way you talk to people.
