Food was really good, service was also very good. Restaurant is more on the expensive side. They charge a $25 corkage fee. The only thing I didn't like is we found it to be quite loud which for our party of 6, made it hard for us to hear some of the people we were with. I had the tuna Tartare and the crusted salmon and both were very good.
This spot is such a treasure. Wonderful staff, friendly and attentive waiters. The food is first class and so reliably delicious! We had the hanger steak and the soft shell 🦀 and for dessert a gran Marnier soufflé and crepe Suzette. Love this place: Jay is also so kind!
Update: Went again for my fiance's birthday. We had a party of 8 and it was a new experience for all and everyone loved it and said they would return. We brought many bottles of wine and our waiter Peter was attentive and personable and opened every bottle and took care of us like family. Jay the manager remembered us from our previous visit and was very helpful and friendly. Love this place and look forward to our return. Food is fantastic. Service is attentive, fast and efficient. Restaurant is quaint, cozy and very vibrant on a Saturday night. Food cones out fast and it is hot and cooked properly. Valet is $14.
Food is really good. I love the goat cheese pear salad. First time trying the onion soup and it was really good. Very recommended this place.
Excellent place! My wife and I visited on our Anniversary and were quite pleased. We ordered the crispy duck, muscles, French onion soup, and soufflé. Everything was cooked perfectly. The duck changed my life and the muscles were in a marinade that was sip-worthy. It seems the ambiance would normally be nicer—excluding the COVID days—since we ate on a busy sidewalk. It was as good as they could make it, I’m convinced. Please go there and then tell me if your own moment of Enlightenment. Highly recommend.
5/17/2023 The ambience is coozy and beautiful. The waitress, Alina from New York, is very friendly. Will come back for its two-course Lobster dinner at $45.99 per person Monday to Tuesday only soon.
I had an exceptional dining experience at Le Petit Restaurant. This charming French establishment truly captures the essence of France. I made reservations for a special birthday celebration one week in advance and requested a specific table, which they graciously accommodated. Upon arrival, we took advantage of their convenient valet service for $13, eliminating any parking worries. As we entered, the hostess warmly greeted us, already aware of our special occasion. The restaurant's cozy ambiance resembled a rustic French country kitchen, adding to the overall charm. We opted for a delightful 6-course meal to fully immerse ourselves in French cuisine. Our culinary journey began with the Bigeye Ahi Tuna Tartare, a perfect blend of fatty and lean tuna topped with creamy avocado. The second course, Black Mussels Poulette in a rich white wine reduction with shallot sauce, was generously portioned and could easily suffice as a main dish at $16.95. To cleanse our palates, we enjoyed a Caesar salad before delving into the main courses. Our knowledgeable waiter expertly guided us through wine pairings and recommended a bottle of 2019 Châteauneuf Du Pape, perfectly complementing each dish. After the appetizers, we indulged in the main courses. The fifth course featured a delectable Crispy Duck paired with wild rice, haricots verts, baby carrots, and a delightful fusion of orange and Grand Marnier priced at $39.95. Following that, we savored a 16oz Creekstone USDA Prime Angus Ribeye Steak as our next entrée, accompanied by a cognac black peppercorn sauce and pommes frites for $54.95. As we approached the final course, we were treated to a heavenly Soufflé au Chocolat, served with vanilla bean ice cream, chocolate and vanilla sauces, and a dollop of whipped cream. This decadent dessert provided a fitting conclusion to our exquisite dining experience at Le Petit Restaurant, leaving us thoroughly satisfied and impressed by the culinary artistry on display. In addition to the à la carte menu, Le Petit Restaurant offers specials and set 3-course meals, as well as daily specials for those seeking a more streamlined dining experience. While opting for these options can simplify your visit, I highly recommend stepping out of your comfort zone and exploring the diverse flavors and offerings on the menu. Embracing the opportunity to try new and unique dishes can truly elevate your culinary experience and introduce you to a world of delightful flavors and textures. Don't hesitate to embark on a culinary adventure and savor the full range of offerings that Le Petit Restaurant has to offer. Overall, Le Petit Restaurant provided an unforgettable gastronomic experience, offering authentic French flavors in a delightful setting. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to savor exquisite French cuisine in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
Easily in my top 3 favorite French restaurants in the valley. I would say it’s very similar, but better, to Mistral a block away on the same street. Petit Trois down the road is still my favorite but I would say Le Petit is solidly my #2. The crowd is a bit older than the other bistros, I’m in my 30’s and was the youngest in the dining room tonight, so the pace is a bit different, but the service is the best I have had in the valley. Our server Petr was fantastic and so was the maître d’ and everyone else we encountered. Parking in the area can be tricky but they do have valet out front. We found street parking 4 short blocks away so I can’t complain. I started off with the summer Gazpacho and loved it. It was chunkier and less acidic than traditional Gazpacho, but I’d happily order it again. Next came the Merguez Sausages in harissa and that too was delicious. I’m a huge fan of that flavor combination and the sausages were deep in flavor and snappy. For my entrée I chose the John Dory with lemon butter tomato caper sauce it and was a great end to the meal with a good sized portion. We topped off the meal with a chocolate soufflé because soufflés are my favorite dessert and this one did not disappoint. Overall it was a delicious meal with wonderful service and fair pricing. I would recommend to anyone for any occasion, although it can get very loud and due to the small size I would not suggest it for a business meal.
Amazing place small and very welcoming. The food was amazing we had 4 different appetizers 2 entrees and 2 dessert of course wine as well. Every plate that was served was delicious
Amazing food had the greatest hits. Escargot, mussels, caviar, crispy duck, and apple tarte.

The food is delicious lots fish and meat options and pasta too. So many appetizers to choose from so do not pass up. The service is excellent one of the best I’ve experienced. It’s a must if you like French food or just food.
What a lovely atmosphere and such deliciousness! The service and food was so enjoyable, we went 2 nights in a row! Flavors are thoughtfully paired to creates unique twists on old standards. Simply elegant and friendly, we will be back!
I have been coming here for years. My mom especially loves it for mothers day and her birthday and special occasions. Wonderful wine list and diverse food choices for all palettes.

The atmosphere is great and I felt like I was in Paris. I also thought the service was great. The food was good but I was expecting more from the beef tar tar compared to one I had in Paris. I had the veal and it was tasty and had a good sauce on it but the sides that came with it were a bit disappointing. Great wine selection as well . Not too many options for dessert. Overall a good restaurant.
This busy French bistro, the LE PETIT RESTAURANT, is divided into several intimate spaces. The largest room is the nearest the kitchen and has tables and chairs. Our table of six was set on an enclosed patio, just outside the entrance to the main room. After sunset, the street sounds soften, very much like the Champs-Élysées, in Paris. Our waiter, Jose, is knowledgeable, friendly, and remarkably easy going. First drinks and warm crusty French bread, served with spreads of sweet butter, and dabs of roasted Egg Plant, Hummus, and Charissa. For medical reasons I must limit my alcohol intake. However, the wine list is extensive and I'm told very good. Our well plated meals were delivered in about 30 minutes. All came as ordered. My vegan pasta primavera, with angel hair pasta and par-cooked veggies in a light tomato sauce was magnifique. It has wonderful texture and rich flavor. The others at the table had ordered steak with french fries, seafood paella, crispy duck, and broiled salmon. Each liked their meal, wishing only the duck had been a bit crispier. Servings are large. Most took home about half their meal. Desserts were large and delicious. None were vegan. We managed to eat, sit, and talk for almost 3 hours. That's when the chairs became uncomfortable. Except for the occasional street noise it was a quiet inviting atmosphere. Just like Paris. Everything is wheelchair accessible. Street parking is available but very tight. Valet parking is $9.
Five stars for the food!!!! Everything was so delicious!!! We couldn't get enough. Although I'd rate them lower on their service. We went on a Sunday night at 6:30 pm and it took just about 30 minutes for our server to come to us Once he did though, everything was great. He was attentive after that. It wasn't his fault though. For being at capacity, they only had 2 servers for the whole restaurant. They need to hire more staff. When we asked if someone called out, they said no! I'd go back again, mainly for the food.
Just wow 👌 don't come to this restaurant if you don't understand French food. The service was very good
Excellent semi small place. Good French food. Semi- expensive. Moderate price range. Can dress casual.

The service was fantastic. The decor and vibe make you feel like you are a little French restaurant in paris. The food was good but not great. French onion soup is better than average. Unfortunately the same can't be said for the escargot or the crepes Suzette. I'm sure they do some dishes really well we just didn't find them this time around.
I don’t get it. Either the restaurant has a lot of fans who clearly have different experiences or they ain’t legit. So many 5-star ratings. Yes, few and far between French eateries, but this is nothing like Paris and the food, while OK, was on the serious side of mediocre. Service was not what you would expect from this kind of restaurant, having to flag down our server several times. Very loud! So what did we eat: we shared a tuna tartare starter, which on a bed of avocado turned out to be the star of the evening. My main, crispy duck, was so crispy, I couldn’t cut it even with the sharper knife they provided. I love duck and often gravitate to it when on the menu. There was a duck confit starter, which seemed a bit much in terms of being a starter and price, so saved my duck for the main. Very disappointed. Accompanied by a nice wild rice and a few carrots and green beans, not overcooked, but the duck itself, Contents dry and tasteless. My partners branzino, thin and lacking ooomph, very disappointing. The house bread, sliced nicely thin, tasteless, as was the butter provided; always looking forward a fresh butter, a staple in a good French restaurant; this wasn’t it. Dessert turned out to be very good, a crunchy and flavorful crème brûlée and a chocolate mouse, which was readily consumed. Very disappointing. Would not return, although in fairness, the couple we had dinner with enjoyed their lobster and knew the menu well as regulars. So maybe I’m just too discerning or maybe most people will like it??

My friends, who had eaten at this place raved about the chicken, so I ordered it. It was severely overcooked. It was as dry as shredded cardboard. I ate the leg and fries and brought the rest home for my dog. I would have sent it back, but did not want to inconvenience the parties eating with me. Chicken over 165 degrees is overcooked. The soufflé was over baked as well. I mentioned it to the waiter and I may as well have not said anything.
