We came here around 9pm July 24th, 2025! (I am leaving the date and time so hopefully a manger sees this and acknowledged this particular crew!) There is alot of younger people working here and I have to say that I am IMPRESSED! All of them were kind, respectful, and efficient! We ordered 8 plates of food and they were done serving all 8 up within 5 min!! Way to go guys!! Thank you for the great experience!

We go here often when we don’t want to cook dinner. And it is delicious every time. There’s definitely some weird stuff going on as far as how they keep food warm before they put it upfront but other than that pretty good.

We almost didn't stop by this Panda because of the many terrible reviews on Google. We decided to take the risk and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a very nice and clean location. Food was not over-cooked and the employees weren't rude - not the most animated people either but they were nice and did their jobs well. I ordered steamed rice and veggies as my sides and orange chicken and mushroom chicken as my entrees. Picture is below. It's not anything out of this world, I mean come on, it's Panda, but it is definitely not a 2.6 rating place.

So I've placed an order through doordash today . while I was waiting I decided to call panda express and check on my order . I talked to a panda express employee name Jackie she was very professional and respectful and made sure my order was right & the portions were awesome and my order was on point thank you jackie I give you 5 stars 🙂my family will definitely be back

They hook it up at this location. Been to a lot of other pandas and they skimp you on the portions. This location isn’t stingy at all, left with some leftovers. Would definitely recommend this location.

My food was amazing my order was piping hot, fresh and made to order. You have order your food by preordering through DoorDash and then requesting that you’re food is fresh!!!! My husband and I love Panda Express. I don’t think we’ve had a bad experience yet. Praying it stays that way unlike majority of the restaurants in this town.

We got the 2 entrees plate. I chose the walnut shrimp & the mushroom chicken, both of them was very good. And it was a lot of food. I had enough left over for supper that evening.

The people working here deserve a raise, the location gets hammered with endless lines of customers and the whole staff keeps everything running smoothly. You can see they are tired but they keep doing their job with a great attitude 💪

It was lunchtime and the place was full and out of rice so i had to wait about 15 minutes.. otherwise the food was amazing and filling. Atmosphere was relaxing even with the amount of ppl. And staff was working together effectively.

First, they are finally back open for dine-in which is a HUGE plus in my book. Second, my internet connection wasn’t great when I placed my online order and it went through twice. I received a call almost immediately letting me know they received two identical orders and just making sure that I didn’t want both. I really appreciated the extra effort there!

Food server was friendly & when i asked about fresh O.chicken he went & got some for me - aporecited - cashier was a lil pushy with a large drink - cup is humongous. - both got 2 entree, w/lo mein, bejing beef was over candied, it was really kind of sweet - i dont recall it being like that before, tasted good just 2sweet - both types of chicken were good Overall, good food & was hot.

Items we ordered were great. Wanted noodles but there was a wait for them. This typically isn't an issue but we needed to get back on the road so, rice. That aside everything was great.

They were understaffed so service was slow and I think we arrived right as rush hit, because our food was old (sitting under heat lamps for a while.) However, the customer service was amazing and one young lady was super sweet. She was working drive thru and the front. (Didn't catch her name) My mom has brain cancer, and she spilled all her rice because of the issues it causes. I went to ask for a broom to clean it up, & although she was slammed, she said don't worry, when it slows, I got it. She made our night. Definitely has a wonderful heart!

Food is consistent. Portion size is inconsistent. They fail to be follow special instructions submitted with online such as needing sauce or utensils, not to mention they put a ridiculous amount of packets of sauce you specifically state you don't want and very few of the ones you request..

This was the first time I've ever had Panda Express. I liked it very much, so I wish I lived closer, so I could experience more of their food choices. I hope to be back very soon!

I do not blame the staff for having computer issues. However the problem is that so many were served ahead of everyone who placed an online order. The fact it took me over 30 min while in the store to get our food was upsetting. I have worked in restaurants. Your staff could have called each order to explain there’s a delay. If it wasn’t able to be seen get it. But then corporate owes many of us who ordered Friday even a HUGE apology. The staff was doing the best that they could. But when a line of people who came in after me leave before me it is beyond upsetting. Not to mention orders weren’t even being boxed till people showed up. No hate to the staff but this is more so on corporate at this point in my eyes.

Made an online order and pick up time was at 7:30. I had to wait for almost 30 minutes for my order, but staff was nice though.

Food was always piping hot and delicious for this Panda Express outlet. Highly recommend the green beans with chicken if you don’t like the deep fried Orange Chicken. Otherwise, other menu were also delicious since it’s always crowded. The staffs are very friendly too.

Good as usual. Black pepper chicken is my go to here. It has good flavor but not vegetables than meat sometimes. The noodles are always good and I love to add the chili sauce. The egg rolls are good and spring rolls as well.

Are you guys on a Teriyaki shortage? My last 6 online orders in a row I've left a note not to forget the teriyaki sauce and I never get it. Everytime I go to thr drive through I have to check my bag and ask for it. It's such a disappointment to have some damn good Teriyaki chicken and not have the Teriyaki

Grading on a scale that includes sit down restaurants. For fast food it's quite good. Was a Saturday night near I 20 in Abilene. They were really slammed, but stayed courteous throughout my visit. They were running, to keep up with all the customers.

The foods so good and the location and building is clean nice and located in a good place BUT the service is not so great after we spent 50 plus dollars to go they tried to put our shrimp and rice bowl in a side order bowl instead that is a smaller container I asked them not to do that go up in size not down if they are out of the right size and they seemed bothered by that then they left out the shrimp on my friends order plus when I asked for extra sauces on the app they didn’t give it and then when I asked again for it verbally they gave very little and again seemed bothered by me for asking twice even still we didn’t have enough sweet sour sauce such a shame the service is not as good as the food

Food was not hot. Chow mein was luke warm with a few cold spots. Portions were small. I think they use a smaller plate. Service was basic at best. No greeting, no thanks, no smiles... nothing. A computerized order system would have been better. No expectations. No disappointments. The experience was not a good one. But, I survived. Willing to try again.

I'd give this location 5 stars if they would ever have food ready around the 5 o'clock rush, this location is the only location that never ever has food ready and quite often does not have rice. It sounds insane I agree, but it has happened so many times now that I fee it should be addressed. Also the drive-thru and parking situation is absolutely the worst you will find, far too small and I promise you that you will be parking because you will be waiting for your food.

Parking lot is nice and open—easy for trucks with trailers to get in/out. The noodles were old/dry, service was very slow, employees were not very friendly.

The terillaki sauce was very bad, the food tasteless and cold and we asked several times for the same things and it seemed that they did not listen, apart from the fact that there were not enough stews, very little to choose from, since it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon, panda express me I love it but this restaurant has bad attention, cold food and very dirty restaurant.

My dish looked good, but lacking on flavor. Yet I don't acquaint all their dishes are flavorless. On the other hand , they had a good looking selection of foods. The food looked freshly prepared. The Staff are friendly and quick.

This location is usually pretty decent, it’s always super busy due to the location but I’ve been back and forth with customer service for like a month about finding black hairs in my meal. I finally gave up.

The Kung Pao Chicken was great. I got the bowl. I tried to tell the young man not to many lo mein noodles, and he filled it up. They had no flavor. They also don't have knives (plastic, I mean) . The Kung Pao truly was good, and so was the egg roll. My friend got the Sweet and Sour and like mine chicken it was very tender.

They were out of almost all entrees and we stood awhile before being greeted. Appeared very unorganized and un supervised.

If you order for delivery make sure you call and make sure they see the order cause you will wait the whole delivery time just to find out they never made or processed your order. Also the chowmein and fried rice is usually soggy and trash here.

Quick flavorful entrées. Portions are reasonable for price. IMO, Chinese Fortune Cookie tasted old and stale. Everything else was fast, and the dining area was clean.

They have gotten so skimpy with there portions! You don’t get heaping scoops of rices or noodles! They don’t even fill up the spoon for 30 bucks I probably got 19 worth of food. My kids finished the three entree. Caleb the manager was the one who served us. At least the girl in drive was serving it right. May think twice before I come again!

Never fails! It's like the workers do it on purpose. Every time I go in the drive thru my order is wrong. And I forget to check. BUT I shouldn't have to check right?? I said the order clearly to the employee. Just sucks.

Our containers don't even come full now. I don't know how they consider 4 scoops full but the family meal doesn't even feed a family anymore. The fried rice looked like white rice with vegetables. It seems like every time I go to the North side location, it gets worse. Save your money, other restaurants still provide quality service!

I ordered delivery. Two entrees and fried rice. The beef and broccoli had one little piece of beef, the broccoli was a little yellow, the spicy chicken was the best even though it didn’t have sauce, the fried rice was salty but not flavorful. I made some sauce myself to make it better. I’m not trying it again. Sunrise is way better!!!!!!

Somehow they're literally always out of medium cups, but still upcharge you for a large drink when it's their own fault. The straws they have don't fit their large cups, so you can barely even finish a large if you get one. Has been an issue at least half a dozen times I've stopped by, it's a minor thing but it's ridiculous and feels like a deliberate (and pathetic) upsell strategy

Why are they open till 10:30 but won't cook any food past 830 or 9 makes absolutely no sense! All they say is well, whats left is all we got that BS. I would like the number for the corporate office!

Unfortunately I am disappointed! Went through the drive through at 6:30pm and ordered the honey sesame and beef and broccoli and was told to hold on to see if he had enough for my order. When I got home I open to find only two small pieces of chicken and tie pieces of beef!!! Really?!? There has got to be better standards for this!

I used to have a good relationship with them despite their past issues with closing the lobby but my last meal soured that. The manager scooped up food for me that must've been really old because it had zero flavor. The problem is that I had already left the store and there was no way to fix it. I feel offended that I was given such trash by the manager himself. I know their bottom line is important to them but not throwing out old food has lost them a regular customer.

Been here a couple of times now and it's always subpar. Broccoli and Beef is mostly broccoli and a forkful of beef. They were stingy with the portion of chow mein, which was dry and didn't have much flavor. I've been in Panda Expresses in other states and have always enjoyed it. This one is 👎

Stopped by the other night while driving through abilene. The restaurant was out of pretty much all of the main dishes. I was charged full price even though I didn't get full portions. Definitely not a good experience

Place opens at 10:30, I got there at 11:30 and only half of the entrees were ready. I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki bowl and had to wait until it was ready which wasn't a big deal. Since my order was to go, when it was ready I grabbed it and left. When I arrived where I planned to eat I opened the bowl only to find a chicken bowl with no Teriyaki Sauce anywhere to be found. Who the heck serves a Chicken Teriyaki Bowl with no Teriyaki Sauce?

I order a bowl with there new SUPER greens and Teriyaki chicken not only did I have to wait 15 minutes for my Super greens as you can see it should be called Super Broccoli and 3 peices of Kale... NOT HAPPY at all nvr again here..all though the cashier tried when it was 15 minutes late but that's all they got for this location

Walked in 45 minutes before close. You had three entree choices and no extras. It’s now 27 minutes to close and there is no food left. They didn’t even attempt to suggest that more food was coming. Chairs on top of tables and they were cleaning the kitchen to look like they were walking out in 5 minutes.

Just went and was told I couldn't pay in cash at the drive through because they didn't have a cash drawer ready at 3 pm. Feels like a failure of management. Foor was good but being told by a buisness I cant pay in cash is b.s.

My teriyaki chicken was cold like from refrigerator. I had chicken, chow, mein and steamed veggies. They look like the veggies look like they have barely been cut up and not even try to be put to cook. So overall I wouldn't go back

My friend who had just got out of the hospital wanted to go here we asked if she could get extra beef in her broccoli with beef and said it was okay to charge more and they gave her this after saying they could do that..... it's obnoxious that they don't cut there broccoli to at least the size of the beef chunk this is picture of what we were given "extra beef" wise and now I beef with them how ironic

Your panda express in Abilene TX is HORRIBLE!!! When I walked in I was NOT greeted and there was no line. As I was waiting in line I seen with my own eye that the lady in the drive threw coughed, she did not cover her mouth and she had a panda express cup in her hard and coughed right into it , she went ahead and still poured the customer drink in the SAME cup! Disgusting! The food looked too pale, the chicken had no color to it, like it normally does. I tired 2 of the new flavors and it was so bland and had absolutely NO FLAVOR! An elderly man went to the line to tell the young lady thank you and all she did was shake her head and smile. You pay your employees a pretty good amount of money for the crappy food AND service. I'm actually surprised that panda express is still standing. What a waste of my money but now I know I will never go back.

Both times I have come here the food has been mediocre at best. The chicken is soggy and they overload on vegetables instead of meat. The portions given are small as well. Today, I tried to pay with a gift card and was told that there was no money on the card. I asked the associate to try again because I have never used the card and there should be $25 on it. The same thing happened so I figured that the store it was bought from never loaded the money. So I pay with my debit card, and after the transaction processed the associate asked to see the gift card again. She says "oh thats my fault, there is $25 on the card". I politely asked for her to refund the money to my debit card and run the transaction on the gift card. Her response was "no, I don't want a refund on this register so I will just give you $25 cash for the gift card".. I don't understand what just happened. And again the food is horrible.

The food was awful. For the price you pay you should get at least more than a half of a scoop. And the girl at the drive through was not knowledgeable about things that had been sold out.

Low quality food. Food sits there for a while and if u come in a couple hours before they close and they don’t have spring rolls they won’t make you any to order. They tell u this is what u have to choose from which was two or three options that look like they have sat for a long time. This place is trash

Me and my military friends were unable to place multiple orders through the drive through this evening which we were able to yesterday. Forcing everyone to get out and wait outside at the door. This is a policy from what i have heard purely to inflate fast customer service. Which is poor. There are only three orders which they cannot handle through the drive through is poor service and much more poor quality because a different friend got food which was cold immediately after pulling out from premises.

We've ordered on pick up several times. No one ever greets us upon pick up. You grab your order off a table up front and walk out. I assumed this was something to do with minimal contact due to COVID. Tonight I waited 30 minutes past my pickup time. Employees kept saying "2 more minutes". Waited a total of 50 minutes from when the order was placed for food that was room temperature. I could have literally gone to a sit down restaurant and had dinner in the amount of time it took me to pick up this fast food order. Ridiculous and not acceptable. Not sure I'll be ordering here again.

Sub-par...as usual. It's, literally, been years since I've eaten here and now I remember why. Portion size is good for he money, as long as you stick with the bowl. The freshness and quality of the food is horrible. Was in the drive thru between 7:00-7:15, which should be a busy time (it was); therefore, you would deduce that the food would be fresher. Nope! The rice was dried out, chow mein was chewy, beef was jerky, chicken was rubber, and the shrimp was soggy. It'll be another few years before I'm back, P.E. Hmm, "P.E.", yep, exactly what the food smelt like too, a dirty P.E. lockerroom.

Rude customer service. The employees act like you're bothering them when you come into order. I was ignored 3 times and the person that finally helped me even rolled his eyes when I asked for some cheese wontons/Rangoon with my order. Also they only give you half portions of the sides. The fried rice is bland and flavorless.

Prepare yourself. They will have nothing that is on the menu available. At any time of the day, half of the menu will be out. And the staff has zero interest in preparing more of what should be there. Have at minimum three things you want planned ahead. Except to get one of them. Maybe.

Food this trip was horrible. Tiny portion like child size. Was very disappointed. No flavor at all. Normally we like panda.. but it's a no go from now on.

This was the worst Panda Express I have ever eaten at. They were out of most of what we asked for or they told us it was a 10 minute wait for it to be cooked. We agreed to wait for fresh food, however we didn’t agree to wait 25 minutes for them to bring us our order of cold food. Then we had to wait even longer for them to bring the sweet n sour sauce we ordered. The chow main was tasteless and the fried rice was mushy which was very disappointing since there was hardly any entree, Skimped on the meat. I do not recommend this location to anyone ever!

I decided to come today for dinner I was very disappointed for my broccoli was brown and obviously had been sitting out for some time, the chow menu was old as well and was very dry as well as chewy, the peppered chicken was so hard to eat because of how crunchy/dry it was. All in all I took a few bites and had to throw it out because of how gross it was. I never write reviews unless I have something good to say but today was definitely not y’all’s day....

I honestly disappointed with the rice. I love Panda Express fried rice but the last few times I've gone there there rice has been terrible its is very tasteless and almost like white rice.

The food used to be delicious. Now? The fried rice is weird and flavorless and everything else is eh. I guess they appease to a preferred culture. A bland one. To make it even worse, they were out of the orange packet sauce. That sauce makes it tolerable. For the record, I stopped eating there months ago, this order was for my son. As for the employees? When the women work everything is going right and on time. The men? They need A LOT of help! Not only are they the perfect picture of chaos, they close early too🤦🏽‍♀️. 🤷🏽‍♀️💞

I hit the easy button tonight for dinner. It’s been a long day and I was right next to this place. The drive through line was substantial so I thought the food might be good. NO. It was disgusting. Oily and tasteless. I also ordered a smart water and that wasn’t even in the bag. Unfortunately, I discovered this when I got back to my hotel and there was no way I was braving that line again for a water. My one and only experience with Panda Express was a let down. Never again. I’ll eat paper first.

Either they're out of food or it's old and soggy. Ive been to many Panda Express locations through out the country and this location by far takes the cake on being the worst. Who ever runs this place should be ashamed!

Went to the restraunt and pulled up to speaker and then was told to wait . We waited for like 10 minutes and nothing was even said to us after that so we pulled forward and gentleman at the window said we close in 15 minutes so we didn't get food or anything and it ruined our dinner plans. Abilene is horrible when it comes to food options and food service. In pandas case there is only one location in town so I have to drive across Abilene to get Panda Express. And when I arrive I’m told they are out of cream cheese rangoons completely and out of sweet and sour sauce. I walked out because what I wanted with my meal they couldn’t provide. Bad truck management by the staff and managers, as well as rushed customer service. I get places get busy so I have no problem waiting, but when you run out of items people come to your store to get it’s a little frustrating.

Nick- Went to the homeland of china this weekend so no reviews. When i got back i missed it and wanted a taste of home. Panda express was the first option. I headed inside and could barely fit through the waiting line bars. Un-freaking-believeable. I ordered the usual. 2 plates of steamed brown rice with sesame chicken. Too small of portions to start off. I watched the person do a half scoop. Pissed me off. After scarfing down my meal that was made for a 5 year old i went home and instantly threw up.

Food was horrible. The vegetables were mushy in the kung Pao, it had been sitting for hours. I waited 10 minutes for orange chicken for one of the entries and the box was barely half full. When I told her I didn't want to wait she said someone is already waiting so you have to wait behind them anyway.
