Our server Mo was funny and so kind! A friend invited me to this restaurant for the first time and I thoroughly enjoyed myself. I am gluten free (not celiac) and was able to enjoy a great meal with gluten free pasta.
Excellent service, a wonderful atmosphere, great music, and delicious food. The attention and hospitality were truly unmatched.
Don’t know why I have never tried here before!! So delicious and very friendly staff who made going out on Valentines Day feel non-rushed and an extremely enjoyable experience for my husband and I! We did apps, entrees, wine and dessert and everything was absolutely delicious. Will be back!
First time here. Our friends have been recommending this place for years and we finally came in. I’m so glad we did. Charming, delicious, real. Cynthia made us feel like we were a guest in her home. Everything was spectacular. We’ll be backn10 out of 10.
Wonderful Italian restaurant with Excellent food, attentive service, and a warm, upscale atmosphere. We had a reservation for 25 and everything ran smoothly and our entire group loved the food and the experience. Easy to work with and very nice staff. Highly recommend!
We have visited Andiamo many times & we keep coming back because it is simply the best Italian restaurant in the DFW metroplex. The best veal piccata, the best carbonara, BEST Alfredo, caprese salad with the freshest ingredients. And a wonderful Affogato to top it off. Not to mention the great service & warm ambiance. Simply wonderful!
I love this place. The food is amazing, the service amazing and the atmosphere it's wonderful. My favorite restaurant overall in Dallas, everyone feels like family. And the manager Moe always makes you feel so special because of how attentive he is. Also you have to get the espresso Martini it's amazing I think Luis is at a tie with his dad when it comes to making that drink.
We have been continuously returning to this establishment. Cynthia, Mo, Senovio and the rest of staff have been consistently welcoming and accommodating. I have a gluten free allergy and they are very careful to make sure I'm taken care of. There's a comforting and whole feel to the restaurant. We came on a whim in 2018 and have been treated like family ever since. I would recommend the calamari, the lobster bisque, my wife loves the Brandy Salmon and Chicken Marsala, I'm a fan of the Bistecca Siciliana. Most dishes start around $18-20, it's a great date night or anniversary spot and I've recommended this place to anyone new to DFW looking Italian cuisine. 🦙🐞
Me and my fiancé decided to try this restaurant tonight since we live close and we were not disappointed in the slightest. The atmosphere was a perfect middle ground for casual dinner or if you wanted to dress it up and come fancier. The service was what really did it for us, our server Mo was an absolute gem. He greeted us as we came through the door, sat us to the table while having small talk. His recommendations on the menu were great, really showing us how much he knew about the restaurant. I could tell he genuinely cared about his customers and his place of work. The food was delicious, I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting a nice relaxing night at an Italian restaurant with tremendous service.
First, Mo greeted us very kindly and made us feel comfortable. Food was great. Calamari and lobster bisque tasted fresh and tasty. Pork chop stuffed with crab meat was also something I'd definitely recommend. Ziti in casserole was good but I was too full by then. Mo also reminded us that they are closed on Sundays. So dont come on Sundays and be disappointed!
I had a lovely experience at Andiamo. We were seated immediately—no wait, which is rare and appreciated. The owners were warm and welcoming, and even crafted a refreshing light mocktail for me since I don’t drink alcohol. It was a thoughtful touch that set the tone for the evening. We started with the bruschetta, which was fresh and flavorful. I had mentioned my garlic allergy to the owner, who assured me the pasta would be garlic-free. Unfortunately, there was a mix-up in the kitchen, but the owners handled it with grace and urgency. They quickly remedied the situation and brought me a different dish that was both safe and delicious. Just a gentle suggestion: it would be great if the kitchen staff double-checked allergy notes to avoid such hiccups. That said, their responsiveness and care made all the difference. Tip: Arrive before 7 PM on weekends to avoid the dinner rush. Overall, a good experience with genuine hospitality and tasty food.
This is me and my fiancée’s second time coming here and the ambiance and food have been a 10/10. We had the pleasure having the manager, Mo, as our server and he is very friendly and provided great service to us. I would recommend this restaurant to our family and friends! Glad to call this one our staple places!
Amazing experience and even better food!!! Definitely a must try… great date night option or bring the fam! very welcoming and family oriented. i recommend the lobster bisque, the Veal and Sea Bass. Top Tier. Ask for Mo , the best waiter and really cares for his guests. highly recommend
We had a most excellent experience! The owner, a chef who created all of the recipes, was our server. She was delightful and engaging. The food was over the top! Best bruschetta I have ever tasted, and I have traveled the world. The pork chop with crab stuffing was so delicious!!!! With a generous amount of crab and topped with the most incredible pink sauce!! There were options for those on a weight loss journey as my friend was. She was thrilled to come out satisfied and not having to go off her diet. It felt like we were in a Michelin star restaurant.
Prompt service, amazing food, great atmosphere - this place was a 10 out of 10. Mo was the absolute best. One of the most enjoyable dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. If you’re considering authentic Italian dining, I definitely suggest this place! (Sorry, we didn't think about taking a picture until we had already started eating lol)
I love Italian food, but can never thing of a go-to. My friend found this place and now, I have a FAVORITE Italian place. It’s apparently been here for decades and I’ve missed out until today. Moe was so warm and welcoming. The food was absolutely delicious! I’m not a big drinker, but ordered a cocktail that was gorgeous and so yummy! It’s a true hidden gem and can’t wait to go back!
If you're looking for authentic Italian cuisine look no further than Andiamo in Addison, Texas. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. The owners are incredibly gracious, taking the time to speak with guests and ensure everyone feels like part of the family. But the real highlight? The food. Every bite is a masterpiece. The flavors are rich, the ingredients fresh, and the attention to detail is unmatched. This is legitimately authentic Italian food—the kind that’s worth going out of your way for, whether you’re nearby or coming from miles away. Their steak? Absolutely to die for. It’s prepared to perfection and easily one of the best dishes I’ve had in a long time. I’m already planning my next visit—tomorrow! 😎 Thank you for delivering such an unforgettable experience. You’ve gained loyal customers! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️
We are visiting Dallas and had no idea what to have for dinner. We wanted to try something new and different instead of having the norm. We were greeted by the owner, Leslie, who was attending the customers and led the way to our table. The environment is calm, peaceful, beautiful, and relaxing. Then, our server, Mo, greeted us and helped us choose from the variety of delicious food that they served. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint. I ordered calamari as an appetarize and as the entrée the chicken parmesan with Alfredo pasta and accompanied it with some wine (Mo's suggestion). The food was filled with flavor and tenderness, and it was delicious. I felt welcomed, and the experience was more than 5 stars, and had a lovely evening, and it's all thanks to the service Leslie, Mo, and the rest of the servers who helped prepare the food and everything. I would highly recommend you stop by.
My husband, son and I were in Addison trying to decide where to eat. When in doubt, Italian. We’d never been to this place before and figured we’d give it a try. When we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the hostess, Sophia. Such a lovely smile! Juan was our server. Very efficient. The food and drinks were lovely in this cozy family owned restaurant. Great atmosphere. After we’d finished, Cynthia, the owner stopped by to ask if everything was okay. Really enjoyed this place and will return when in the area. Shoutout to the Lavender Margarita, cause…lavender? Hello! I’m a fan! Thanks all for an all around lovely dinner. :)
My husband knows I love trying new spots so he did some research and took our family here for Mother's Day. Taking our kids out to eat always means we have to make sure two things are on the menu - pasta and steak - and Andiamo checked the boxes for both. You can definitely miss this place if you're driving by, but when you step inside it is so beautiful and quaint. You can definitely tell they take a lot of pride in the ambiance of the restaurant. My husband had a reservation so we were seated as soon as we arrived. There were 5 of us and we were put at a round table which is my absolute favorite because it makes for great conversation. We arrived early enough for brunch and I was extremely tempted as they have a number of eggs benedict options. That would typically be an easy choice for me, but I couldn't resist trying something Italian that I couldn't get somewhere else. For appetizers we decided to get the homemade focaccia (amazing presentation and absolutely wonderful!) as well as the charcuterie board which, despite it being on the smaller side, was the perfect amount for the 5 of us. We enjoyed a nice variety of food for lunch. I had the truffled mushroom pasta with salmon and I absolutely loved it. Not too salty or creamy - just the perfect amount of seasoning. My husband and daughters had the filet mignon with pasta alfredo. They said the steak was cooked perfect to order. My mom enjoyed the Bistecca Siciliana. She'd never had or heard of it before and she said it was absolutely delicious. I also like to try an espresso martini when it's on the menu and I highly recommend you try it if that's your speed - it was delicious. A delightful touch was the bracelet they gave me as a gift for Mother's Day. I can't say enough positive things about our first experience here and if you're in the area and in the mood for amazing Italian food and excellent service I can't recommend this place more!
The first time I came to Andiamo was in 1998, I used to come here all the time with my grandma. We used to be able to smoke back then, so we always sat up front close to the bar. A lot of things have changed since then, no more smoking, the floor is more open, its staff is different & the dress code is much more relaxed (a little too much for my taste). But the two things that have not changed are the excellent service & the food. I have been obsessed with the stuffed pork chops for decades & even though they have evolved throughout the years, you can still ask for the original recipe, still finger licking good. I have never had anything here I didn't like. Tonight, the calamari was delicious, the prime rib was on point & the stuffed chops didn't disappoint. We finished off with keylime pie & I had a Brandy Alexander, not a creamy as I remember, but still great way to end an amazing evening.
We wanted to have Italian on Friday night, and a few seconds later, we found Andiamo on Yelp. The experience couldn't have been any better. Our server, Diego, was attentive, quick, and very friendly. We loved everything we ordered. Big portions, eh? My linguini carbonara was delicious. Leave room for the key lime pie and/or tiramisu, they're super worth it.
This is a cute, quaint neighborhood spot. We took a friend to celebrate her birthday because she loves Italian! We did enjoy the appetizers more than our entrees. The shrimp andiamo was all of our favorites — it’s in a mushroom sauce that was so good to dip bread in. But our entrees slightly lacked flavor. Service was about what you expect. I was a little surprised they didn’t do any dessert to celebrate our friend’s birthday. Appetizers we tried: -Shrimp Andiamo, VIP Sauce, Bruschetta Entrees: -Lobster Bisque, Truffled Mushroom Pasta, Lasagna, and Chicken Piccata Overall leaning 4 stars because it was good.
