We rented a tandem kayak here and they shuttled us up the Rogue River and picked us up when we got off the river. Super quick, friendly service and affordable prices. We paid $95 which included the shuttle drop-off and pick-up, lifejackets, a dry bag, paddles, and they offered an ice chest and water guns as well. The river was beautiful and we saw tons of birds and even a huge salmon! We didn't fish, but they had a ton of tackle and other fishing gear.

An all around perfect gift shop with anything you’d need. From fishing gear, lunch, gifts, and anything you could ask for. This is a place you have to stop and admire.
This is a hidden gem! The deli shop has delicious sandwiches for everyone taste buds. Friendly staff and awesome service. We booked a river rafting trip and the kids had a blast.

My uncle worked here for the bulk of his career throughout the 90s with Curtis and the rest of the guys. On weekends, I used to make my way out to stay with my aunt and uncle and we'd spend all weekend on the river casting flies and rafting. He put a fish in my hands for the first time when I was only 4 years old and I have been hooked (yes, pun intended) ever since. I really miss those times. The Fishin Hole is a very iconic shop that has been around forever; I daresay the guides are among the best in the business and I cannot recommend checking these guys out. Whether it's the excellent Deli, a great selection of hand tied flies and useful fishing gear, or the wisdom of the guys running the place, the Finshin Hole has you covered on your tour of the Rogue.

Absolutely love everything about this place! Spent a couple hours with the super awesome owner, Jack, replenishing my fishing gear and then yesterday with Pritch getting me licensed. Also, the food in their deli is amazing!
Great customer service. Over and above. Our shuttle driver destroyed his car air freshener to give me the elastic....all because he heard me say..."Dang, I forgot my hair tie". 😄 I've been renting from the fishing hole for 25+ years. Always a great experience.
We went on a scenic boat ride today and had a blast. When I asked the shop about seating in a raft (because I’ve had both my knees replaced this year and my husband has a hip issue) they offered to use a drift boat so we would have comfortable seats, which was perfect! They are very accommodating.The food was delicious. They were generous with drinks. Ben is such a fantastic guide! It was an experience that I highly recommend!
One of the best experiences ever! Girls trip down the river this weekend and it was so beautiful, the food was delicious and Ben was SO AMAZING! Would definitely recommend and we will absolutely be back!
Always stoked to fish for a few days out of Shady Cove! This shop is awesome. The nice woman working was great! She knew all the regulations, information on the different stretches and up-to-date fishing reports! Super friendly and great customer service! The shop has a complete selection of necessary gear for fly or conventional fishing for Salmon steelhead or trout. Highly recommend and thanks for everything you guys do!
Did a fishing trip yesterday with these guys. Had a amazing time! Make sure you try the little deli they made us a amazing breakfast sandwich before we left then took care of us for lunch very good sandwich and sides. Had the best time on the boat. Are guide was very kind and sweet enough to answer all are silly newbie questions. Definitely recommend and we will be back! Marty&Tishia
Best sandwich ever! The soups here are pretty epic as well. Great little place to rent a raft, go on fishing trips and get great food and coffee all in one stop. The staff is so nice and very knowledgeable about the area.
This shop is the best! Get the latest fishing report, the flies that working on the Rogue River, a good cup of coffee, deli sandwich for the day and arrange a shuttle. The best part is they extremely friendly and have great customer service that you expect for a small that delivers more than you would ever imagine just driving by. Worth the stop!
Great food, great people, and lots to offer. The food here is truly delicious. Whether you’re going rafting or going fishing, they have what you need. It’s practically a one stop shopping center. The Blue Heron gift shop offers a little something for everyone. Grab some lunch, go fishing, and on your way back pick up a gift and a bottle of wine!
I went in to see it for the first time and I got my fishing license. Then I got a deli special lunch and it was very good.the store is a combination of fishing and out door good. River raft rental, the deli and a quaint gift shop. Very unique sn
This place is convenient and priced well. Our transporter was nice and gave us tips for rafting. We waited over a half hour for our raft, but the trip down the river with family was worth it. Friendly service and great sandwiches!
So disappointed spent almost 400$ for 2 raft for one to get popped 20 mins in and the other one deflated. Mind with the popped raft there was 2 small kids on it we should have known something wasnt right the raft had patches all over it and right whwn they put the raft in the water it was already filled with water. We mangad to at tie the raft to a tree with all the stuff in it and take out some stuff so it did not get taken in the water and. The owner was so rude and disrespectful about the whole situation. No refund no nothing offered all he cared about was his inventory. Never again worst experience we ever had.
If we could give 0 we would. From the start it was super late and didn’t even have enough room to fit all are people (red flag) . Then the rafting on the raft they had patches all over them missing caps (red flag). We still went on the raft. not even 30 mins into the rafting it was deflating ( or to the owner went soft). Never happened in the 10 years of rafting else where (sunset which is closed). We got off the raft and tied it up because it was not safe for are kids and went down to let them know what’s going on and the owner just processed to yell and cuss n my face and smile. And was only worried about the raft and “inventory”. Never again.
