It's a good restaurant for a casual meal. The dishes are presented attractively, the service is good without being overbearing, and the atmosphere is pleasant. We ate on the covered terrace and everything was fine. The flavors were acceptable. I would recommend it.

The octopus was just 👌, and the camote fries sooo gooood. I ordered a Bife de Chorizo and it was tender and juicy just will be perfect with a side of potatoes in any way!!!

I visited between lunch and dinner, and about 80% of the seats were filled. It may be because it's the pre-Christmas shopping season, but the restaurant was very busy. The food wasn't bad, but since I ate outside the building, the smell of sewage, which can be felt in various places on the Altaria grounds, was a bit strong. It may depend on the season, but if you can find a seat, I recommend sitting indoors.

He acudido a este lugar un total de 4 veces a lo largo de 2 años y le he dado varias oportunidades, el problema siempre es el mismo, el servicio; El mismo subgerente que no te atiende, siempre me he tenido que parar a la barra a pedir yo mis bebidas ya que nunca me atienden. The service was excellent. Elizabeth served us; she was super friendly and attentive. For starters, we ordered provoleta cheese, but it was cold and a bit hard. They didn't have ribeye steak, so I ordered tuna steak, but the tuna was cold inside. The dishes were cold. The drinks were very good.

I've been a frequent customer at Carbón, Parrilla de Barrio because I've always loved both the service and the food. However, this last visit left much to be desired. The dishes took an incredibly long time to arrive, and once our steak was served, we asked for tortillas… which also took an extremely long time. At no point was there an apology or even an explanation for the delay, despite our expressing our dissatisfaction. The food quality is still good, but the entire experience was severely marred by the staff's lack of attention and empathy. I hope it was just an off day, but it definitely leaves me hesitant to return anytime soon.

I saw reviews and thought it was good, and well, it's not that bad but it's not good. The complimentary bread they give you is so hard I could barely break it. The jar of clericot was flavorless with little fruit. I ordered it cut medium and it's very dry. I think it was overcooked in the center, it was like 3/4 done, and the corners were done medium.

Soy de Guadalajara y vine de puente a esta hermosa ciudad. Era habitual cliente en mi ciudad, pero me llevé una muy mala experiencia en el local de Plaza Altaria. Llegamos muy temprano y el lugar estaba sólo, fuimos los primeros, los meseros brillaron por su ausencia en toda la estancia. Pedimos entradas y los espárragos, quemados y sobre condimentados. Pedí un Churrasco de 1 kg y después de casi 40 minutos llego frío. Tuve que levantar la mano más de 8 ocasiones para enterar al personal de que había gente comiendo. El gerente del lugar, por así nombrarlo, nunca tuvo la desencia de hacercarse a la mesa para atender nuestras necesidades o saber que pasaba con el servicio. En lo personal no vuelvo nunca a cualquiera de sus sucursales por que al parecer siempre es lo mismo. Que lamentable, por que cuándo empezaron el concepto prometía y mucho, pero oh, decepción 😔

This was my first time at this restaurant with my partner. We chose it because of the menu displayed outside. The atmosphere is pleasant, with good music and not too noisy. For food and drinks, we ordered a hamburger, grilled octopus, and a pitcher of mango juice; everything was delicious. The problem was when it came time to pay the bill. The waitress, who approached us a couple of times and came with the card reader, rudely demanded a tip, claiming it was "Mexican culture" to tip and asking, "Aren't you going to leave a tip?" and that we had to leave at least 10%. Luckily, I'm stubborn, and we didn't leave her anything. She just made faces and made my partner and me feel awful. TIPPING IS NOT MANDATORY, hence the stars.

I love eating at these restaurants; I visit them in Guadalajara, León, and Aguascalientes. This last one in Aguascalientes completely disappointed me on my last two visits. The waiters are inside and barely offer any service outside; there's no host to greet us at the entrance. This last time, they told us they no longer offer the complimentary sparkling wine, and they brought us a less appealing bread. I asked why these changes had been made, and they simply told me that the management had changed and they were being restricted in several ways. The music they play is horrendous and far too loud; it makes you want to leave quickly. It's a shame because it's my favorite restaurant, wherever I am, and unfortunately, I'm very disappointed with the service, the atmosphere, and the food.
