We found this restaurant by chance (the Alagna ZTL was "open") while riding our motorbikes. We couldn't have made a better choice. A welcoming place with friendly, welcoming staff. We ordered excellent tempura-fried mushrooms, pappardelle with wild boar ragù, and polenta with mushrooms. Everything was excellently cooked and delicious (perhaps the pappardelle was a little on the small side, considering we're riders). Prices were reasonable.

The "Cà Nosta" restaurant is located in the center of Alagna. I had lunch with my wife and daughter in early October, when Alagna's summer season is essentially at a standstill, with the winter season coming to a close and the winter season coming early, so we had no problem finding a table. Between indoor and outdoor tables (not available at this time of year), the restaurant is fairly large. The restaurant is simple and clean, with cloth tablecloths and napkins. The menu features a few dishes, but they are very refined and locally sourced, and are entirely prepared by the chef, assisted by the very courteous and knowledgeable restaurant manager. The bread served is excellent. We enjoyed: Pappardelle with wild boar, Tajalin with mushrooms, Ager terra d'autunno (autumn land), Zuccalù (zuccalù), and Paffu (the priest's bite). For dessert: Kruschli Rolla and Pam's snack. The names of the dishes are unpretentious, so I'd refer you to the menu to understand their composition, which is anything but banal. All the dishes are of excellent quality, flavor, presentation, and quantity. To drink: water and an excellent glass of Erbaluce. The staff is courteous and prompt. Considering the restaurant as a whole, the prices are slightly above average, but justified by the sophistication of the dishes. I always base the average price on individual dishes and not on the total bill, as many do, often influenced by the hunger of the moment, and therefore by the number of dishes and the number of diners sharing them. The location also influences the rating. In conclusion, absolutely recommended if you're in the area.

Finally, a restaurant manager who knows the dishes inside out and helps guests with their choices with a smile. Traditional dishes revisited with great research, refined, and above all, delicious. A must-try if you're in the area. I'd like to point out that a new chef took over the management of this restaurant two months ago. And it's well worth the detour! We came as a family in August, 11 people in total, during a visit to the region. We were wonderfully welcomed by Pamela. We had the opportunity to meet Umberto, a chef passionate about his craft, who puts a lot of heart into all his dishes. The dishes are refined, enhanced by diverse flavors. A delight for our taste buds. The whole family was delighted, without a single false note. I will gladly return to try other dishes.

I had the pleasure of dining at this mountain restaurant, which I'd heard rave reviews about, and I can confidently say their dishes are truly innovative and original, while respecting tradition and the local area. The brilliance of this place lies in their boldness, fearlessly, in a mountain setting where too often we expect only polenta and stew (however delicious). And here I'd like to clarify something: for those seeking tradition, there's no shortage of classic options! Homemade tortellini (like the rest of the menu), polenta and cod, to name a few. You can sense the passion and research behind every pairing, and the result is simply delicious. The mountains shouldn't be stuck in gastronomic clichés; they can evolve without betraying themselves. And these guys are doing it with intelligence and courage. I'll definitely be back, and I can't wait to see how they'll continue to amaze me. Well done, keep up the good work!

Nice lunch spot right in town. This is one of the newer restaurants in town, and is hence less well-known. We found it to be very good, and with an experienced and creative chef (not-local by the way). I had a great quail meat dish, and tried their take on "kimchi". Being from Asia I was really curious to try their kimchi, which they made with pickled locally grown vegetables.

Esperienza non molto positiva, la consiglio per chi vuole farsi una merenda. Menù non molto chiaro. Piatti non abbondanti. 8 euro di coperto sembra troppo esagerato. Per il servizio mi sono trovato bene, anche se i piatti sono arrivati leggermente in ritardo. Comunque personale professionale e gentile. Consiglio vivamente di aggiungere al menù cibi più tradizionali, come in altri locali del posto

Assolutamente da evitare!!! Hanno cambiato gestione!!! L’ambiente è quello di prima ma non fatevi ingannare!!! Abbiamo speso tantissimo, mentre leggevamo il menù volevamo uscire, avremmo fatto bene ma abbiamo provato. Abbiamo preso l’essenziale primo, acqua, dolce e caffè. Avrei mangiato meglio a casa mia. Prima di uscire abbiamo visto le stesse nostre espressioni allibite guardando una famiglia che consultava il menù.
