If you leave here without a smile on, you need to get your head checked out!!! CRISSY APPROVED ✅

Best Bahn Mi in Oakland. Sandwiches are large and really fairly priced. Highly recommend their Lemon Grass Seitan (no pate).

Best smoothies in town! I often times go to this place for breakfast and sometimes lunch. Food is great and prices are good. I only wish the sitting area was nicer and better cared for. I have a little baby and I like getting out of the house. I know most costumers only do take away or stay super briefly, but I like eating there.

you get a ton of food and all of your necessary vitamins and minerals for a pretty damn good price of $8. highly support the ladies that work here, they have a wide selection so it's good to come here multiple times. really hope they keep it up and perhaps a good place to get some work done if you like a rustic environment

An excellent choice for lunch, and breakfast. Sometimes they have a rush during lunch so I call my order in ahead. They cut up fresh veggies and fruit right there on the spot. Affordable prices too. I go 1-2x per week. I recommend the egg sandwich (add avo), the Vietnamese salad with chicken and the tuna sandwich.

this place is a must visit. their staff is super nice and professional. their curry tofu bahn mi is delicious (ask for no mayonnaise if vegan). my bf likes their chicken summer rolls and my dad loves their rice plates. this place is super cheap and great portion size. its one of my favorite restaurants in oakland. come support their women ran small business.

This is my favorite place for lunch. The food here is always so good and fresh. Their banh mi and breakfast croissant are big and yummy! The summer rolls are also really good, especially when it's hot out. Fair warning, they do get busy around lunch time on some days, but that just shows how good their food really is!

Yes, the place looks like a plain little cafeteria, but the food is out of this world, and legit in a regional way that I have not experienced before. Seriously. Cannot recommend highly enough. The juice blends alone are worth a trip out of your way.

I have had a lot of vegetarian banh mis and these are my favorite (especially the tofu and mushroom). They are flavorful, jam-packed and made with high-quality bread. Also a great spot for a breakfast sandwich, and my wife swears by the smoothies. Everyone is very friendly. The one downside is that it can be a long wait during lunch hours, so maybe not the best spot if you're in a hurry. Worth the wait!

I’ve been going here for the past three years and it has never disappointed me. The food here is fresh and delicious. The sandwiches are incredible, I love the pâté they use and the fact that there’s tons of vegetables in each sandwich. The sandwiches and portions are generous. Highly recommend the vermicelli bowl, it’s like two meals in one! The smoothies are great too, I still have yet to replicate them in my own kitchen. Get the Tropical Green Smoothie or if ginger isn’t for you, the Green Smoothie No 1 never disappoints.

This may look like a standard bánh mì but honestly, I think it's the best I have EVER had. BBQ pork bánh mì are probably my favorite food of all time, and I am constantly on the hunt for the best. Having tried them all over the Bay, I have to say, this little gem of a cafe might be it for me! You should know before going that the pork sandwiches come with pate (which may have been the deal-sealer) but truly - come here! You won't be disappointed!

Nice neighborhood no-frills cafe serving some standard options with a Vietnamese food / drink menu. Ordered Vietnamese iced coffee, as one always should when available, and a croissant. Both delicious. Croissant large and buttery. The prices are fair and the atmosphere is very pleasant and the spirit of Oakland. Will definitely return to try vegetarian bahn mi.

Super great experience here! Their spicy grilled sandwich was super yummy and very sizeable especially for $10! The ingredients tasted fresh and the baguette was perfectly toasted. I would say the chicken tasted yummy and well marinated but to me it could have used a bit more spice to be called “spicy.” The mango strawberry smoothie was huge for 16oz and what a great price and tasted so yummy!! There were plenty of seats which was nice and staff was friendly. Overall, would definitely come back!

Stopped by for some late lunch and was so glad I got the grilled chicken banh mi. So flavorful! Their smoothies are all amazing blends, good consistency. Small size is 16oz and it's perfect for one. Ordered the chicken wrap. Spicy Mayo was great and they did a great job at the equal distribution of the fresh ingredients throughout the wrap! Yummy. Looking forward to returning to try their salads. They have reasonable prices for the area too.

We got a few Bahn Mi sandwiches and a strawberry-banana smoothie. The sandwiches were pretty big. The filling was plentiful - I just wished there were more pickled daikan with the carrots! The bread was still crunchy even after a few hours - these were purchased in the morning to be eaten near noon midway of a hike.

This place is truly the best! Vietnamese vegetarian sandwich (this is the lemongrass) is amazing, huge, and such a great value! Called to order my sandwich for pickup during peak lunch hours and went over to lake to enjoy 🌞

Got a mushroom tofu banh mi and it was delicious! Fresh bread, crusty on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. Stuffed with super fresh veg and nicely marinated tofu and mushrooms. One of the best banh mi I’ve had in a while! Would definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. Very fast service too. I was in and out in 5 min.

Got a mushroom tofu banh mi and it was delicious! Fresh bread, crusty on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. Stuffed with super fresh veg and nicely marinated tofu and mushrooms. The employees and the food is the best, unfortunately the new people that moved into the area have taken over and are extremely rude and selfish. Line cutting, loud, and extremely oblivious to any resemblance of civilized culture.

The sandwich was very good if you were looking for something with more veggies in it this is perfect for you. It’s true to the name. It taste very fresh with crisp veggies. I may be biased but Cam Huong is my all-time favorite for Banh Mi but I would not think twice about ordering here again.

Delicious Banh mi sandwiches. I usually order the combo cold cuts with the pork patty, ham, headcheese, liver pate, mayonnaise, soy sauce, pickled carrots/dicons, cucumber/jalapeno slices, and cilantro . The prices is very reasonable and affordable. They have a variety selection of smoothies, and healthy drinks.

This place serves up excellent Vietnamese sandwiches, the kind that make you want to come back. Unfortunately, everything else makes you think twice. The surrounding area is rundown, with graffiti and frequent disturbances just outside. Inside, the cafe is no better: dirty tables, buzzing flies, and a staff that seems more interested in chatting with each other than helping customers. During my visit, my order was “forgotten,” and I waited 15 minutes while others were served ahead of me. It’s a shame the service and atmosphere don’t live up to the quality of the food. With a little effort, this place could be a gem; instead, it’s a frustrating mixed bag.

Great spot for a quick bite. The Bahn mi here has a good ratio of ingredients to bread. Smoothies are also a good option too.

First time here. Ordered the grilled pork Vietnamese sandwich. It was ok. The pork was good but not much of it compared to the amount of veggies. They have many drink selections from Costco. They also have cut fruits and flan cup desserts in the fridge. They use the Louisiana hickory coffee for their Vietnamese style coffee.

I used to really love this place until recently my smoothies started coming with pieces of plastic in them. I was going about my day drinking my acai shake from Fresh & best 2 when i noticed a piece of plastic in my mouth. Small but still considerably gross, i can only imagine the rest of it is blended up into small particles in my "fresh" shake... Fresh & Best 2 : Now serving the freshest microplastic smoothies, a great and healthy way to start your day.. lol
