Quick drive thru. Burgers were excellent. Wish they stayed open later though.

i stopped in for a quick snack and was not disappointed! there was no line (it was mid-afternoon) and the dining room was immaculate.

Went on Xmas afternoon to try their vegan burger. The nicest staff and the burger is a WINNER!

Fries are always just-cooked when I go. Employees are always friendly and engaged. A little pricier than some places for the amount of calories, but the food tastes better than those places in most cases, in my opinion. Have yet to try the Green Burrito side of this location, but this Carls Jr. is a model location. My top option for a fast-food burger, and that's saying something with Jack In the Box, McDonald's, Burger King, and In-N-Out competing in the same area.

This is indeed a great place to enjoy your Burgers and Burritos ala Carl's Jr. style. Ellaine who is the current manager has done a great job of fulfilling his customers needs. The menus are mouth watering, sumptous and delicious. The Manager is always hands on everytime I visit this place. There's never a dull moment cause the employees are always there to greet you when you enter and with always a smiling faces when you depart. I'm also in awed of the cleanliness of this place. It's immaculately clean inside and out which is rare nowadays around this type of fast food establishments. I take my hats off to the Manager and crew of this establishment for job well done. Keep up the excellent works Guys !!!!!!.

I've been going to carls for years. It is one of the better fast food restaurants around. Their chicken tenders have always been good. Their burgers are good. Milkshakes ditto et cetera, et cetera, et cetera

Writing this review for my fellow parents here in the Alameda area in search of a relaxing, inexpensive, burger experience off the beaten path. This particular Carl's Jr. is super clean, very fancy inside, with an expanded menu that includes tasty Mexican food options (tacos, burritos, salads) and a truly huge selection of hamburger choices. My spouse and I regularly watch the coupon deals in our mail box, and when our older boy starts doing the "I want McDonald's" thing, we take the kids instead to Carl's Jr. for a giant feast that is much healthier. The manager and staff are really kind and generous, just as a side note. It's obvious that they've cultivated a very loyal neighborhood fan base. If you take your kids there, you won't be sorry.

I received Remarkable service from Emily last week. I returned this week and was pleasantly served by Elaine. Both managers were very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure my needs were met. Thank you ladies for being so sweet and thoughtful.

This is a great restaurant with amazing employees. They have great customer service and the food is really delicious. They keep the inside and outside of the restaurant basin clean. Highly recommended

This is my first time eating here, and actually the first time eating at Carl's Jr in many years. First impression: this has to be the cleanest fast food place I have ever been to! It is so refreshing to eat somewhere where the manager takes such good care of her customers and her restaurant. Elaine really stands out as a Manager and as a wonferful person. Someone like this isn't easy to find, and frankly, I'm surprised she isn't in Corporate responsible for training all managers to follow her example! She's a true gem.

Customer service is A1!!! I been coming to Carl’s Jr for a couple months now and each time there is two employees everyday who really made me see that they care about their customers. I come everyday for either coffee or a soda and each time they stop to have a mini conversation with me showing they genuinely want to make their customers feel welcome 💗

Carl's Jr. has always been at the top of the fast food ladder. At least in my book. And that's has been for two little words... Okay one little, one medium word. Fried Zucchini. I had a serious addiction for a while there. Now I stumbled by for something at breakfast and low and behold. They had biscuits and gravy. Well I declare! Another of my very favorites. And it was pretty good too. You go Carl!

It tripped me out because I headed towards the bathroom to wash my hands and my food was ready and I said I would be back for it and when I came out to get it she had it in the area to keep it warm. I've experienced other places would just leave it out on the counter. Very nice friendly atmosphere and wasn't much of a wait either.

POLITE and CLEAN, NEVER crowded, QUICK SERVICE. Chicken stars made tender and served fresh. Dining inside is the best, better than drive through. Highly reccomend eating inside!

The only reason for the 4th and not 5th star is because they're prices are soooo damn high. I spent $22 for 1 single combo, zucchini fries with a root beer as part of the combo.

To my surprise, first time visit, double burger was betyer thsn expected, may be I was hungry?? But the bun was quite big ,and condimens were sufficiently lot til the last bite. French fries were smaller portion but fresh crispy.

This visit: Double Western Bacon add lettuce tomatoes pickles and red onion. Always great. Huge burgers. So many great selections. Wish there were more locations.

I like Carl's Jr, their fast food menu is better than most. The cashier at this location looked that he didn't want to be there, he acted too cool to be working there.

They Forgot To Put The Patty In The Bun On One Of My Burgers Before! I Ordered 2 Tender Meals And Drove All The Way Home With Only One Tender Box And Had To Drive All The Way Back! Both Of Those Times They Were Not Even Busy.

Normally they are "OK" for dinner after a late night at work. But tonight I ordered a "Mile High Bacon Cheeseburger" with extra onions. I got no bacon, and NO onions.

Disappointed. I know these are extraordinary times, but just went to pick up 2 western bacon cheeseburgers .. but when we got home we found we got some sort of creative sandwiches if they are out of certain ingredients, they should just be straight up about it. What is supposed to say about the atmosphere of a fast food place!? It's clean. They take EBT for hot food. The only restaurant in town that I know that takes EBT not restaurant fast food.

Ordered reg Famous Star Combo, w/xtra mayo on both buns, criss cross fries. I go to this location a lot...they know me. The fries were good and hot. Had an appointment, so didn't eat the burger right away. When I opened it.....NO MAYO AT ALL! Heated it up, added my own w/some salt, and enjoyed my 🍔. They're usually pretty accurate.

Carl's Jr is still doing the Covid-19 limitations. No restroom, and no trays. You get impression they're lazy.

It's so expensive for no reason. And they give you the smallest bag possible, it's ridiculous.

I've never seen a fast food Venue w outrageous prices. They have a $14.00 Burger combo. In fact all of their combos are at least 9 or 10 bucks...hello! We are in a pandemic w millions on the unemployed line....Shame on you

The service has always been good at this location. I just want to review the Carls Jr food here. The “hand breaded” chicken is a very misleading campaign. I am quite sure it came from the freezer. Looked like typical fast food, tasted like it too, no crunch at all - just a rubbery chicken patty. Fries were not warm - as always. Totally wasted $14+ and I wish I had spent a few more minutes to order at a local, good, satisfying and more wholesome place to eat. I do appreciate that they will substitute a lettuce wrap for the bun on any of their burgers and thats my best reason to occasionally try something here.

Not too salty but very saucy and the bread felt and tasted like real bread. Now the biggest disappointment. The fries. I am a big carb man and I usually devour all the fries. McDonald's, gone. In N out, gone. BK, gone. This... What the heck was this? The fries tasted like off brand Walmart frozen fries cooked in an oven of hopelessness after being left out to be stale and placed back on the baking sheet of rejection. For the first time I did not finish my fries which gave me hope of succeeding in weight loss goals that went away after I washed it down with that deliciously dangerous Churro shake. 10/10 I'd get again. So that's it. It killed the craving for another couple of years.

Now 23 minutes later, my food comes... what's that about! Irritated at this point, neither my barbecue sauce, or my honey mustard was in the bag. I go inside to get it. I'm in traffic driving home eating my fries. I finally get home, open up my chicken sandwich and it was burned (picture posted). It looked like they cooked it the whole time that I was waiting! They didn't have the decency to offer a refund or even make a new sandwich. Never going back to this location ever!

On 3 separate occasions, I've visited this location (871 Marina Village Pkwy, Alameda, CA 94501) On each visit, I noticed that the same team member who is preparing the food is NOT wearing gloves. Touching burgers, and buns., Peeling off and separating each cheese barehanded. As well as wiping surfaces off with cleaning rags, Then continue to prep food. 🤢🤮 On each visit, I addressed the MOD privately They both agreed, on how unsanitary it is. 1st-time visit I voiced my concerns to one of the staff members after purchasing "Stating that I will not be ordering here if he cannot wear gloves to prepare my food, As I'm watching him hold my bun in the palm of his hand. She told him to put the gloves on, and to prepare my food again. She even gave me an extra order of small 🍟, (which was appreciated) 2nd-time visit Before ordering, I look over the counter, and once again the SAME GUY is preparing food without any gloves, as well as the lady who was preparing the fries, Watching her individualize the cheese for each burger barehand, I almost fainted. The assistant manager then stated to me " We tell him to put the gloves on all the time, but he just doesn't listen". Smh I then asked for the higher-up's information. Soooo. I decided to report this location, Just knowing that the person preparing the food we pay for, we eat, feed our kids, He has no concern for creating a healthy environment, and no respect for his job or leadership. I fear that this has been an ongoing issue and will continue to be as so. Management needs to be more assertive with team members and hold accountability accordingly. No customer should have to tell your team member to put on gloves, Especially when preparing their food. I encourage anyone who comes to this location to read this. And to come in to order your food if u still decide to eat here. vs the drive-thru Makes sure your food is being prepared correctly Health is wealth.

I was very disappointed! They use false advertising. I will not go there again!!

My milkshake was not mixed correctly and they forgot guacamole on my burger that I paid extra for but managed to put a sticker on it that said guac!

The attention of employees and cleanliness is very good, but I left disappointed,. When I went to look for the payment receipt, I realized that I could not get my points to accumulate rewards, because it is not affiliated with the promotion. I'll have to look for another store than if I give the points

Stopped by here 150 straight days on my way to work and they were NEVER open at 6:00 AM what the sign says on the door. Usually 30 minutes to an hour late getting open! Makes you pretty unreliable in my book if you can't get open by the time you advertise. I will go elsewhere to get breakfast.

I thought I was going to enjoy A Truffle Burger From Carl’s Jr. after passing up my favorite Five Guys, So I proceed to try Carl’s Jr. Place my order for a single which came to be 10$ bucks, costing that much it better be better than Five Guys, my order is prepared pulling out of the driveway when I noticed my burger cooked beyond safety regulations, burnt dry then a B$?@&, I take it the lady from the drive through like no it’s supposed to be that way, somehow they end up making it immediately, left me wondering why didn’t I get that patty initially, waste of gas, and time, to drive back to a location where staff is hesitant to make a new sandwich, I am Officially Done with this location, do give me what’s been laying around all day, and you sell it to me, when fresh patties are available why waste my time

I saw an ad and *almost* fell for it. An A1 burger for $2.99. So I walked over to the CJ across from my office and asked for one. The fellow said which A-1 Burger I want and I replied the $3 one. He said that's "corporate" and it's actually $4.20 (or about that much). I said I just looked on their website and picked your store and it said $2.99. Don't advertise prices you won't honor!

Lousy food. Was on the run needed a bite in a pinch. My fault because we all know this is Junk!! Will go back to making my own food from home. Stay out of these places.

They make you present your papers. If minorities are less vaccinated and therefore don't have papers they won't serve you here. This is essentially the return of Jim crowe. I'm vaccinated but I will not present papers NEVER.

This Carl's Jr. Doesn't care about their customers!! I spent almost $50 on an order and I asked to get House dressing (the pink one) for waffle fries. They refused even though I told them I was going to pay for them. I wasn't asking for free stuff. I was willing to pay and they still said no. I am not coming back here. The only reason I come here is because it is close to my house. I am willing to drive to the next closest location as long as I am getting what I paid for. Also, why are prizes so damn high for this fast food?

I recently visited Carl’s Jr in Alameda, and unfortunately, I received the wrong order. This was quite disappointing as I was looking forward to enjoying my meal. I hope they can improve their order accuracy to provide a better dining experience for customers in the future

My grilled chicken was barely edible - poorly put together, buns were not grilled, buns were cold, meat was extremely low grade, and simply looked sad. My gf's crispy chicken sandwich was absolutely disgusting - poorly put together, spicy chicken patty was dry, ugly looking, hollow, and just plain gross taste wise. I asked for the spicy chicken sando to be returned and ordered something else, which tasted only marginally better. I wasted almost $30 on very very bad food. Never coming back.

As fast food goes, this is down there with Arby's and Long John Silver only the prices were outrageous. I feel punked - like I was just scammed for a burger, fries and an iced tea for $18. Maybe if that was the best dang burger but it absolutely was not. #regrets

I hate this Location in particular. A few months back, they refuse to serve me because I was bLack. I swear to God. They had me wait 20 minutes for my food and nobody had even started making it yet. When I was asking for my money back, they were just looking at me weird. It was a very strange weird experience. These foreigners working Behind These fast food restaurant counters are very strange and weird, I don't trust them making my food.

I walked to Carls Jr it is 9pm the restaurant says closes at 10pm but the doors are locked. Lady working is pointing at the drive tru but I don't have a vehicle. Carls must not care about my business and that's fine with me. Over priced! Re heated!! Garbage!! Frozen food sold at a profit not even large portions anyway.

Hi went last night around 10pm wanted a soda 5.43 mind you —large diet Dr Pepper, , drove out of drive thru sipped it was mostly carbonated water , got back in line kind lady exchanged it for Diet Coke , same result … where is the syrup mix ..it was awful just drive away , the lady that helped me was wonderful , the product not so much, writing this because 5.43 for large should I imagine would taste like something other than carbonated fizzy stuff, was really disappointed , please speak to your vendor

The staff uses them all the time. They will overcharge you and their pricing isn't clear. Was double charged for something and it was almost impossible to get refunded. Took 20 minutes to get my money back. Used to go here a lot. Now I will never come back.
