Ordered 5 meals on line. Very easy to order, ready when I arrived. Met the owner. He was very nice and packaged our meals nicely. The food was great and there were lots of options. Highly recommend this business
Food here is outstandingly delicious, fresh, and ample. Having eaten here many times I find it the BEST !!!!
We have eaten here numerous times and the food is very good and potions are generous. Highly recommended.
Really enjoyed the warm welcome and wonderful service. Go for the Jhol momo and the chili momo! Honestly you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. Wash it down with a cold Barasinghe (dry hopped Nepali Pilsner). Be sure to grab a table on the beautiful patio.
Amazing sumptuous momo, flavor-forward curries, beautiful service!
Food is delicious, customer service was decent and made sure to go over the details of making it. I have ordered food for pick up few times and it was ready and done as promised. Will come back here for sure
The food here is absolutely delicious. A great place to explore a menu beyond chicken tikka masala
Namastey Patio would be considered phenomenal anytime, but is the absolutely perfect way to enjoy an excellent meal while taking precautions against COVID. We had greatly enjoyed their takeout before, but recently needed a place to entertain a larger group. The owners helped us plan a family-style menu to be served on their spacious outdoor patio, but then efficiently moved us to an indoor space when we were surprised by rain. They still achieved distancing from other diners and excellent ventilation near the door as added protection. This was a wonderful opportunity to taste many dishes from the menu. All were expertly prepared and received rave reviews from each member of our group who are all discerning diners, but with varying tastes and preferences. In short, Sim and her co-owners provide an excellent dining experience at this very special restaurant.
Delicious food, loved the chicken momo's
Ordered takeout, all of the food was delicious, generous portions.
This place is really great. We got chicken momos with chutney, vegetable pakoras, and the classic chicken curry. Everything was delicate and perfectly made - not too salty, not too oily... Honestly the best restaurant food I've had in a long time. It tasted home cooked. Everyone needs to go support them, because they're walking distance from my apartment and I want to eat here forever.
We tried this place out because of the transit convenient location, the open patio and the allergy-friendly menu, and it was definitely a great choice! We had multiple food allergies in our party including my best friend with celiac. There are many vegan and gluten-free items on the menu, and nonvegan items are often labeled as to whether they contain dairy or not. Nut contents seem to also be well labeled, though this did not affect us personally. All in all, the staff were confidently knowledgeable about the contents of the dishes and this made it easy and simple to order a delicious meal that met our needs. This kind of conscientious service makes it so much more pleasant and less stressful to visit a restaurant! The service was also prompt during our busy weeknight visit, which is a pretty nice feat for a new restaurant during peak dinner hour. And the mint lemonade was tasty and refreshing.
Simple the best restaurant in the Bay Area for high end and healthy Nepalese and Indian food. The curries are light and healthy with non diary options. The Nepalese influence makes it light without the heavy creams. Service is excellent and friendly. Atmosphere is relaxing with outdoors and indoors. Also dog friendly. This place deserves a Michelin star.
I am impressed with this restaurant. REALLY GOOD. The best Indian food in Oakland for sure! I am from Oakland and have high standards of food. This place blew my mind. We ordered chat, salad, Samosas and then Chicken Chili MOMO (YOU MUST TRY). It's a Nepolese dumpling, concentrated flavors. It was a wow moment for all of us. Saag chicken, Lamb, a bowl of Tikka Masala sauce just because, creamy black lentils, two Mango lassi *spectacular), The Naan was extra large. The environment was peaceful, clean and elegant. Customer service was friendly and kind. Spicy is SPICY. Get the chutney set for sure and raita. I am in love with this restaurant. I was so impressed. Very fresh food well made by the chefs. Bravo!! Thank you for existing. :)
The waiter was wonderful, great attention to detail and everything
Overall decent place. Seating was indoors or outdoors and atmosphere were nice. Portions were large and price was low. Food was good for the price. Service was also great!
Great vegan options: we had the baingan, bhindi, daal and asked for all to be extra spicy. Great flavor. Service was warm and efficient. We’ll be back!
Ordered online and picked up lunch for 3. Ready when promised. Everything was delish! Especially garlic Nan.
Great food and friendly service, came on a Tuesday evening, it was not busy and plenty of tables, some outdoor seating also. Street parking was easy enough to find a spot. The staff were super friendly and guided us with our order, making sure we did not over order on things like appetizers and nans. The food arrived quickly and tasted amazing, defiantly none to come back to, highly recommend if in the area.
Omg. Namastey is my new go-to favorite. It's so good. Had a delicious lunch special for multiple choices -- it was big. There are plenty of vegetarian options. The chicken tikka masala was also delicious, and I liked their take on samosa chat. The garlic naan is wonderful. My whole body feels good after eating here.
I’ve come here several times and everything is always spot on. The patio is a relaxing outdoor space, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly/fast but not rushed. I always get the chicken momos and salad which don’t disappoint.
Menu is full of delicious Indian choices. We ordered samosas (crispy, fresh), dahi chat (great shells, yum), palak paneer (full of soft paneer), dal makhani (lovely taste), jackfruit curry (skip this one), and chicken biryani (excellent). The goat cheese naan was ok, the plain naan is good. The food was served quickly, and tasted like it was all freshly cooked. Service was attentive and friendly.
The food has really good flavor and the service is super fast and kind! Only critique is that their spicy option left more to be desired. They did bring a hot sauce mix when I requested it afterwards. If you aren’t a diehard spice person, I’d say this is the best food you can possibly get.
Excellent quality food. Great patio for warm days. We did take out during the pandemic but now that it is summertime it’s nice to sit outside. This spot has had large turnover, hopefully this restaurant will last! They have a lot of choices on the menu and wine and beer as well. I asked for extra spicy and it was a good level spice. Could be spicier but usually restaurants usually are hesitant in the USA.
We came for the momos and were not disappointed. The other dishes we tried were great too
Just got samosas and masala chai to go. Both hot and fresh. Husband who’s very particular about his tea, said it’s the best he’s had in a while!

Delicious! Will become a repeat customer for sure.

Best indian food in town! And the friendly, professional service is stellar. Enjoy!!
The food here is especially good, really fresh and clean and showing great care. The owners, who are really nice to deal with, clearly pay a lot of attention to the quality of the food, which is mostly Indian, with a few Nepali specialties. Requests about spiciness of the food are honored. There is comfortable seating inside and outside (where the area is protected from the street by a glass wall).
Great food and friendly staff. The flavors were delicious and service was excellent. I will come back again.
The food is always super tasty and authentic. Service is warm and atmosphere subdued. Nameste is our GoTo for all important occasions.
The food. OMG! So good. Ordered so many entrees and apps. The naan is amazing. Goat cheese naan? Yes please!
We ordered food for our office and everything was incredibly delicious. It brightened our work weekend
Love this place! The Cauli special is our favorite - we have to order two so my partner and I don’t have to share it. Chicken monos are the best!

We ordered Lamb Karahi and Chicken Tikka masala. Both were excellent. Naan was also excellent and above average. But rice was slightly undercooked and was short grain rice not long grain basmati one would expect. Yellow dal was underwhelming and lacked flavor. Overall was a good experience.
Had chicken tikka masala, veggie samosas, two naan bread and chai tea. Tasted pretty good, chicken portion should have been better. Price before tip was $39, kind of expensive for what you are getting. Service was good for the most part, but could be a little more attentive. Yes, I would eat here again, but only once in a while because of the price point
Solid Indian food, but not the best ever and they don’t have as many dishes as I would like. (No baingan bharta.) The momo’s were delicious and it’s a huge serving of large momos. I loved the cooked lentils. The rice was bland. The outdoor patio is a nice atmosphere.
We visited Namastey Patio Nepal while looking for traditional momos, and this place delivered. The Chicken Jhol Momo was a definite hit, full of flavor and very satisfying. The steamed momos were also good and well-prepared. However, the mushroom appetizer was okay and didn’t quite justify the price. The ambience was pleasant, and the service was okay. Overall, a good spot if you’re craving authentic, traditional momos.
Pretty solid Nepalese Indian cuisine. Great momos! Curry was on point, and they have great naan bread, which is always the Hallmark of a good Indian place.

The naan was spectacular. Don’t listen to the haters saying it’s too thick: it’s light and fluffy with nice air pockets. I’m really excited to try their cheese stuffed naan in the future! The rest of the food was good but not great in my subjective opinion. Maybe it’s the Nepalese influence, but the spices in the butter chicken, saag, and pakora weren’t what I expected. And the mango lassi had too much cardamom; it was savory when I expected sweet. Very smooth online ordering process though and prompt preparation.

We ordered delivery. 1) Our drinks spilled in the paper bag, and the sauces in two of our dishes leaked -- poor packaging by the restaurant. 2) Dishes that we asked to be mild we're spicy. Not sure I would order from them again.
I want to like Namastey Patio, but the experience just doesn’t justify much more than 2.5/5 and I won’t be coming back. The staff was nice and sat us with less than an hour before closing, but they started to close up with more than 15 minutes to spare - chairs up, coats and bags on, ready to leave. It was nice to be served with smiling faces, but we were rushed out. What was more disappointing was the food. We’ve ordered out in the past, had our order messed up, but the food was still delicious. This time, the food was lacking significant quantity and the protein was nearly non-existent. An order of palak paneer came with 6 cubes of paneer, not nearly enough for an entree. The same could be said of the lamb and chicken tikka masala, which also had far more sauce and curry than protein. The highlight was the cauliflower special. It also irked me that the bathrooms had no hand soap - we had to put with whatever suds we could get from the watered down soap. We won’t be coming back.

My family and I were out to dinner here a week ago and sadly we were all disappointed with the food and the service. We really wanted to like this place but they made it very hard to. We waited 40 minutes for our food, had to flag down our server for everything, my dish came out 20 minutes before everyone else's and they served it to me so I was done by the time the rest of the food arrived. The table next to us received all their food after 10 minutes and we arrived 10 minutes before them. That was disheartening and we were starving. The restaurant is short staffed and I appreciate that everything may go a little slower but this was actually a matter of not being organized, aware or communicative with the customer when needed. The food was okay. Nothing special. The chicken Korma was lumpy is made with cashew nuts. Korma should be smooth and creamy. It was lumpy and bland. Not terrible, but not that good either. The house salad with chicken was also bland and had two or three pieces of everything the rest was a big pile of lettuce. The classic chicken curry was bland and oily. There was literally a huge ring of oil left on the plate. I hope other diners have a different experience.
Food is not good, and especially given the prices! Pakoras had no veggies in them and were dry. Naan was also dry and tasted like it was at least a day old. Momos tasted like they had been steamed hours before we ordered them. Won't be coming back.
I used to love this place but the food and service have gone downhill. We ordered the same things since they've opened: tandoori chicken and baigan bartha. Both were flavorless. The chicken was dry and the eggplant was so bland it could have been anything. We were there on a Saturday night; the servers worked hard--correction: the servers were over-worked. They should have had one more person (at least someone to bus the tables!) but I guess the owners are too cheap. And sadly, that term describes the downhill turn: cheap. This used to be my go-to during the pandemic, but now it's a pass. I will miss you. Namaste.
Mt boyfriend and I ordered online and the food was pretty bland. The mango Lassi tasted funky too. Now our stomachs feel funky as well haha....Not to sound rude, but I am surprised that this place has such a high rating 😅
I really wanted to like this place, but the rude owner made it impossible. Your response is "sorry" now that I have left a bad review. That is not how you treated me in your store when I asked for rice with my 28 dollar chicken tikka masala and one garlic naan. You didn't even offer to have me buy it separately, you just took my food and pretended to refund my money. I was forced to get Grubhub to issue a refund. A complete joke, no clue how this place will survive.
