Always a treat! About $2-3 per donut, but you're very likely to be very satisfied with whatever you choose. Their flavors range from classic to more complex. The complex flavors usually build on a traditional glaze or filling, such as maple or jam, and add a couple more complementary ingredients. The dough, fillings, and glazes are all high quality, rich, and taste ✨ artisanal ✨ in the right way. The Bernie is a personal favorite, and I usually don't like maple that much. They also serve coffee and espresso drinks, which get a thumbs up from my coffee lover friend. In short, give Donut Savant a try-- and get hooked.
Omg. I bought 1 of 8 different donuts to try them. The Boston cream is one of the best donuts I've ever had. They don't skimp on glazes or fillings! The WTFluff with peanut butter and marshmallow, the little cronut with lemon curd or marionberry filling are also very very good. I didn't care for the large cronuts. The dough in that size is too tough I think. The apple fritter was good but very little apple. The strawberry-raspberry filled sugar donut is good too. It's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area. I will definitely be back for my faves in the future. The image has a 16oz bottle so you can see the size of each donut. Some are the smaller sized. Total for all this $20.75. Super reasonable!!
The Bernie will change your life. Lemon is my second fav and anything chocolate they have is a staple. Donut savant supremacy
To the donut lovers in town, if you haven't been to this place you are missing out. Before writing this review I tried their donuts on 4 different occasions and every time they out performed my expectations. Hope you all love it as much as I do.
Delicious with a great selection of flavours and styles. If you like peanut butter, ask for that swirly topped one. Yummm!
So delicious. Ordered the creme brûlée, the Sean Pecanery, and a couple of the salted maple. I can’t pick a favorite. The NOLA coffee is also an absolute treat. If you haven’t been, you should check it out!
Delicious donuts. They are CASHLESS so no cash. AI deff got it confused. They look super nice and the customer service is great
These donuts are delicious!! A local in line suggested a few I wouldn’t have otherwise tried including the o.m.j., the lemon, and the Apple fritter… and these ended up being our favorites!! Everything we tried was delicious, the cronuts, the cream filled maple, and the minis. We will definitely go back when we are in the area! The iced coffee was reasonably priced and hit the spot too.
Thank you to the lady who shared the donuts with us in the dog park.We fell in love and had to come back for more. Exceptional donuts—perfectly sized, not too sweet, and paired with great coffee.
I love bringing treats to my friends when I go to Pickleball so I yelped it up real quick and I found this super cute donut shop. What I love about this place is the pastries are not huge, they’re a perfect portion so you can try more than one and not feel guilty. Lol. I tried the apple fritter and it was absolutely delicious. And the rest of the pastries I got were a hit. Everyone inhaled them. I will definitely go back here because for a whole box of pastries I paid around $25 dollars.
Parking was easy, street parking right outside. Guy that helped us was super friendly. Most importantly though-- THE DONUTS! They were delicious, still warm and so soft. We tried many different types and they were all amazing. Also, I love that many of the options come in a mini size so you feel much less guilty trying multiple different donuts. Highly recommend checking this place out!!
LOVED. Described as cronuts, it is a bit more croissant and flaky than donut (60/40). Each donut was not extremely saturated in oil. My personal fave was the coconut, which was one of the rounder donuts. These had such a fine, crispy outer shell while maintaining a soft, decadent interior. While they sold out of the bigger donuts, loved being able to try all the smaller flavors without filing up. Great coffee too!
This place has become my go to spot for donuts. I knew what a cronut (croissant/donut) was before, but I had never had one until I tried these. Every flavor is delicious. It's a great option when you want a donut, but want to go beyond your standard chocolate or glazed donut. I have to recommend the vanilla and the salted caramel, but you can't go wrong with any of them!

I must be an idiot, no idea how I slept on this spot. Excellent coffee, pleasant staff and I was in a candy shop. They used to have a location downtown but that building was bought and turned into a condo. Not new news. I told them that I must have been 5-0 in a previous life because I love donuts. For real, these are amazing. I asked for 6, baker’s choice. Y’all are missing out if you haven’t been. 🤙🏽 I may be an idiot savant now.

I stop by to pick up cronuts for my daughter — her favorite treat! We love pairing them with a cup of homemade matcha at home. The atmosphere is always friendly, and even the people waiting in line are so pleasant! My daughter loves their cronuts — the perfect mix of flaky croissant layers and donut sweetness! The staff and customers alike make every visit a pleasant one. Prices are reasonable for the quality, and worth every bite!
This place has been my go to for my occasional donut hankering for the last few years, and they never disappoint!! Consistently great quality. They’ve got the flavors and the textures nailed. No wrong choices, but the Bernie has gotta be my favorite!! Not to mention, their espressos are delicious too. Chef’s kiss!
I don't eat donuts often, but when I do, I go here. Hands down the best ones in the East Bay. The place is small and sometimes you'll deal with the occasional person who has too many questions about the donuts (it's a small menu, pick something already) or who wants to chat up the staff when there's a huge line, but the quality of the donuts are worth putting up with the townies.
I happily make the drive down to the Allendale for the cronuts and everything else this shop offers. These somehow don’t make me feel nearly as crummy as most donuts. Never had anything short of delicious here.
This place came highly recommended, and I see why!!! These donuts are absolutely delicious. They're not too sweet, yet the flavors are both light and.... impactful. I highly recommend, and I'll definitely be back 💯💯💯

I've been coming here since 2021. I love the donuts here. For coffee, I often order the salted maple latte (not listed on the menu). These are the best donuts I've had in the Bay Area (yes, better than Bob's). I've noticed that lines are getting longer, so you might be in for a wait, especially if you come on a Saturday.

really well made cronuts, the texture was spot on, the 4 comes from them being a touch too sweet for my liking. however the star of the show wasn’t the cronuts but instead the apple fritter, so so good not too sweet and the apples were really gooey and again the texture was perfect. would go again, there were bunch of good looking pastries lol
Good and fresh options to choose from. Selecting just a few will be hard because they all look amazing. Worth the visit!
