Opinions de Linea Cafe Alameda
Linea Coffee has quickly become one of my favorite coffee spots in the area. The vibe is warm and inviting, and I love that they roast their own beans right on site—it doesn’t get fresher than that. My go-to order is the Salted Maple Latte, perfectly balanced between sweet and salty, and hands down one of the best lattes I’ve had anywhere.
I want to leave an excellent review for Mimi! She was so nice. You know when you get somewhere—especially a coffee shop at 7 am—and you're just waking up, you're low energy, and you look drowsy? Well, she just welcomes you with open arms. The conversation was super nice and she's so upbeat and just genuine and nice; it really sets up your whole day for something great. Thank you, Mimi! Oh yeah, and the coffee is amazing!
Great spot. Ordered an oat cap and ginger pull apart which were both delicious and well balanced. There isn’t any inside seating but they do have a wooden deck to sit outside along the road if weather is good
Superb coffee, friendly service, excellent beans, good pastry selection. This establishment easily elevates into my San Francisco top 5. We visited at the recommendation of a couple we met during a java crawl who were equally fanatical about coffee. What a find! Barista Alex provided a warm welcome, passionately described their beans and generous 1/2 off sale each weekend and their owner’s commitment to quality. We were hooked. Decaf cappuccino, regular cappuccino and a cortado were crafted with intense arabica notes, rich crema and a sultry medium-sweet taste. If you’ve read my reviews, I lean to strong Italian espresso flavors. That took a left turn after the first cortado sip which exuded a complexity of arabica notes unencumbered by bitterness which allowed the beans to brightly shine through. We purchased 3 bags of beans and the quality continued throughout the week at home. Outside sitting is sparse and the area added an industrial edge to our experience while appearing clean and safe. We will return soon to try their other beverages and pick up more beans. Do yourself a flavor and make a straight linea to this superior establishment as we bean there and highly recommend.
I come here often as the service is wonderful and the coffee is just as good. Wonderful outdoor parklet where you can enjoy your coffee. My go to spot in the neighborhood.
Linea is exactly the SF coffee vibe you imagine when you think of third wave coffee roasters in the city. The coffee, including the drip coffee, here is delicious and tasty, the interior is beautiful and aesthetic, and the seating area plus location feel very homey. All in all, Linea is awesome, but I do have to ding them a few points because it does feel overpriced in return so you’re paying for the experience. Compared to some other shops in SF or NY most drinks here are a little more expensive or come in smaller sizes.
Great coffee & pastries from Neighbor Bakehouse! There is also a decent amount of outdoor bench seating in a parklet. We got an iced latte, iced matcha latte, and a curry potato puff pastry. Would definitely choose the latte over the matcha next time but both were very solid options. The pastry was excellent especially loved the black sesame seeds and crispy edges.

Fantastic coffee, organic, couldn’t ask for me. But wow the pumpkin bread was off the charts amazing. My wife and I are still talking about this coffee shop a week later. Really fantastic and worth stopping by
Picked my walking route so I could swing by in hopes of a good cup. I was very satisfied! I just needed a little bit of good coffee before enjoying conference swill, I mean ... "Coffee." I really enjoyed my cortado and muffin. I'd strongly recommend stopping in and get a great experience.
Consistently good. The coffee snobs in my life like it, visitors can get a chance to see an SF latte price 😉 there is no indoor seating, the outdoor seating only has sun in the summer.

Very friendly staffs, my little Shihtzu loves their doggy donuts. We go every day. Although I travel a lot and tried lots of coffee, Linea has my favorite latte in the world.
I’ve never been here before, but it’s right down the street from where I’m staying. I usually go to Farley’s a couple of blocks away, but I decided to give this place a try since it’s a local neighborhood spot. It was about 12:45 p.m. when I went in—fairly quiet with just a few customers. The space is clean and very simplistic, with no indoor seating. There are only a few benches outside, so if it’s raining, you won’t have a place to sit. I ordered an iced Americano with a splash of milk, and they offered honey or sugar cane as sweeteners (I usually bring my own Stevia). The drink came in what looked like a medium size, comparable to national coffee chains, and cost a little over six dollars—which isn’t bad for the area. The flavor was excellent: smooth, not burnt, and nicely balanced. It’s a great place to stop for a quick espresso or afternoon coffee. Parking is fairly easy in this neighborhood—just keep an eye on the signs, since there’s a two-hour limit on weekdays. On Saturdays, parking is free. Overall, Linea Coffee Roasting has good vibes, solid coffee, and a convenient location surrounded by other small shops and restaurants. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
I ordered the salted maple latte and i didn’t taste any maple or sweetness or salt, but the espresso was strong. The cashier was nice and i enjoyed the outdoor seating. Not sure if i’ll return to try another coffee.
Came here with some friends on a Saturday afternoon! Good: - Fast service! The coffee was ready almost instantaneously - Golden milk espresso latte was really good - good kick with the turmeric too. Pretty sweet too and it masked the coffee taste - Nice staff and the place is super cute inside - good ambiance Bad: - The price is pretty high - $10 for an oat milk coffee is crazy Overall a nice place to go with friends
Lovely little coffee shop that sits right near the bottom of Potrero Hill. It’s busy most mornings but the coffee was decently good. The only issue is that there are some drinks that are overpriced. My mocha itself was about 12-16oz and $7 with no milk substitutes. Other than that, the donut that I got was splendid and the coffee wasn’t half bad!
Very smooth espresso I ordered. They do the in-house roasting which means they can control the quality of roasting. Very good and I recommended it. It's running, their logo looks like my favorite camera, Leica, of course.

The service is lazy and the cappuccino was mid. No hospitality. The register was taking a long time with a client before me, the barrista just standing there. The barrista could have easily asked if there is anything they could have gotten started for me to speed up the process, but nope, they just stood there. The cappuccino was okay, nothing special. The espresso base didn't really come through. Cool atomoshphere, but only outdoor seating.
I'm happy to pay more for excellent coffee but my cortado cost $7.75 and was merely fine, maybe even a little weak. I'm sorry to say you can get better coffee for 2/3 the price
I am a big fan of Lines coffee however I am giving a 3 star for service from the rude cashier. The other staff who was helping me with getting beans was very nice and helpful. The cashier has attitudes and is rude, I wanted a receipt and he just dismisses me.

This place is super cute vibes and you can see them roasting the beans in the back which is cool. However, the latte was very mid and the matcha was undrinkable. It was so clumpy and powdery and just tasted like milk.

👎🏼Discrimination!! 👎🏼Rude service!!👎🏼Absolutely pricy!! There were reviews about how bad of the service, I was doubted it but still gave it a try. I couldn’t believe what I saw, they had an attitude for the people not white, while they were being nice to the white customers. The server (lady) was so rude!!!! She was very impatience and not willing to provide a service. Not sure she was the owner or employee only. Why they allowed her to treat the customer like that. The coffee might be good, however, when we paid $9 dollars for one small coffee, we expected more not discrimination! Definitely will not come back.
Randomly closes early. Unreliable business hours Response to owner: your closer was still there when I arrived. He wouldn’t let me buy beans- I didn’t even need brewed coffee. I had a flight the next day and had to spend hours roasting my own that night as a result. I’ve been a consistent customer of yours for years but this isn’t the first time. I can’t drive across town for, or even recommend, a coffee shop that closes randomly. I don’t need free stuff, just a reliable coffee shop. Linea isn’t that.
