food was yummy! they have unique flavors of XLB (soup dumplings) that i’ve never seen before of my favorite things. like sinigang and pho xlb??? they were fun to try. the cucumber appetizer was also soooooo good, everyone at the table wanted more. dare i say better than the ones at din tai fung… we went on a weekday, no game and there wasn’t much customers, so service was fast and they were really nice!
got a light dinner here before keshi's sf concert! the place was surprisingly empty at 5pm and we were seated right away. we ordered the beijing noodles and pork xiaolongbao to split between four people. the dishes were flavorful and refreshing but the portions were teeny tiny for the price. i wouldn't eat here again out of consideration for my wallet.
We stopped in with a group of 8 at 2:50. We are told the kitchen was closing in 10 minutes but we were free to order whatever we wanted. In the meantime. We were given a large table and they took our order of many different food items and got it into the kitchen before it closed. We were able to order numerous drinks. An overall great experience.
March 2025: Stopped by for dinner and had an enjoyable meal. Sat at the bar and tried the green beans, noodles and seafood dumplings. Food was excellent 👍. April 2024: Stopped by for dinner and thought I should update my review. Ordered the pork dumplings, the shrimp toast and the brocollini. Everything was still very tasty here 😋. I'd come back again for more delicious food! 9-28-20: They are open during the pandemic. Enjoyed delicious dumplings and noodles. The shrimp toast was one of my favorite dishes! Would get that again and again 👍.
Industrial-chic casual looking restaurant by the Chase Arena. The food was very good, and the service is fast and attentive — within 5 minutes we were eating already. You should definitely check it our if you have a chance. Food: great Drinks: great (I had one of their teas!) Atmosphere: casual, fast-paced Highlight: Chili Pork Dumplings - Hong You Shui Jiao
Hi family if you’re looking for some good food to snack on while you’re waiting for the Warriors game or even after the Warriors game, then you wanna stop by dumpling Time.. The customer service is amazing. The food is good in the atmosphere is great. If you stop by, let them know Pastor Dre sent you.
Super delicious dumplings! We tried most entrees on the menu and were impressed. We ordered the Maine lobster Shumai, and the A5 Wagyu beef potstickers and were very impressed! We also ordered Chile pork dumplings, lamb dumplings, and the pork potstickers. All were delicious and were perfect for sharing. I also really enjoyed the pork bao buns are they were soft and not dry! They have an events menu during warriors games. We ate during a warriors game and was a fun time if you are into basketball!
Can’t find a better place to dine before a Warriors game. Surprisingly reasonable price for a place right next to the stadium. Do try the Beijing noodle, dumplings, sticky rice, and shumai if you visit. Wait time could be long, so plan ahead.
Had the pleasure of visiting Dumpling time yesterday for my husbands & I mini date of the week. Thankfully we work close by so walking to the restaurant was a breeze. Love that this location is right next to the new chase center gives you great views while eating. We had never been to this restaurant and honestly I haven't had dim sum in a really long time. Thankfully our waiter Nicholas was fantastic. I asked so many questions on recommendations on what to order. He suggested multiple items on the menu and we ended up ordering all of his recommendations. They did absolutely not disappoint. We ordered; Chili pork dumplings Wagyu fried rice Sea food gyoza Chat-siu Bao Seared pork buns to go. Every single item we had off the menu was delicious. The wagyu steak was cooked perfect medium rare. Yes not a lot of steak on it but acceptable for the price. The chili dumplings were spicy but not overly spicy. The bbq pork buns were so good. Super soft and hot and tasty. They are not skimpy on the fillings. What stole the show for the evening was the sea food gyoza! Man oh man were those delicious that I even considered ordering a second order. They had a whole shrimp inside and the sauce that was placed with them paired so perfectly. I legit cannot say one bad thing about our food experience here. Unfortunately since we don't usually dine in the city we were unaware that if we don't have our vaccinations cards with us we would not be able to dine inside. Not to worry since it was a nice day out and the wind hadn't picked up too much that we decided to stay and eat outside in the dinning area. The waiters and servers were all amazing. They were very attentive and friendly towards all the guests. We will absolutely be returning to this location for dinner or even a quick lunch.
This is a nice place to come to before a Warriors game full bar with Suntory Whiskey out of a tap. The food here is awesome with wonderful flavor. I had the shrimp and pork Sui Mai which was really good, the pork and shrimp flavor goes well together, we also had seared BBQ pork buns. I have to say I’ve never had these seared before and it give the outside a nice little crunch but still fluffy in the inside. For an entree I had the seafood Gyoza , which I was a little worried that it would taste too much like spinach but it didn’t, the crab and shrimp really comes out and the chili butter sauce gives it a nice kick to it. Lastly I had the American Wagyu beef fried rice. The beef was so tender and soft the rice had the nice beef flavor in it it was good. The staff here is Naeon and Ryan the bartenders made this experience even better, wonderful atmosphere and good customer service this is a perfect 5s star place.
We had such a great experience at this restaurant. The staff was 5 stars! Super attentive, courteous, and friendly without being in your face all the time. They welcomed us in, told us about some of their favorites even offered us a paper menu if we preferred that. They have qr codes at each table where you scan to look at the menu. The food came out hot and the server noticed that our table was full and had a couple of dishes leftz so he said he will wait on those orders until we had space, super attentive! Also refilled my water 5 times! The bathroom are all unisex stalls and there is also a baby changing table at the very end of the bathroom hallway. Now onto the food... the string beans perfect amount of garlic and sauce! We had 2 orders of pork XLB so juicy! Only thing i didnt like was that it stuck to the metal container and was hard to pull out bc then the juice would all run out. But we had the big spoons so that helped a little. We also had the ribs, finger licking good- they give you warm towels after to wipe your hands too! We also had the veggie spring rolls perfect amount of crispy, seafood potsickers-yum! And the garlic shrimp noodles lots of shrimp in it! Bc we had kids with us the server would let us know if there were spicy chilies etc and would offer if we needed that on the side. Love it here and will be back again!
The dumplings were delicious! I got some soup dumplings, one of my favorites, and they hit the spot! Everything is beautifully made as well. The wait staff was very attentive and nice.

My parents were visiting SF and had never been to Dumpling Time, so I was looking forward to bringing them here and showing them around the area. This location by Chase Center is super convenient — easy to get to by public transit or other means. With other restaurants, shops, and (usually) events going on nearby, the neighbourhood is fun to explore, but it also means the restaurant can get predictably busy on game or event days. Fortunately, this visit wasn’t one of those days, so we didn’t need a reservation (for 4). We ordered a bunch of dishes to share family-style, which is definitely the way to go since there are so many goodies to try. My go-tos are the pork XLB, lamb dumplings, and the trio of buns for dessert, but tbh everything I’ve had here has been solid.

Came here before a concert at Chase Center. We were seated with little wait. Staff was friendly and attentive. We only had one order of dumplings and a couple of sides because we couldn't take any leftovers to concert, but everything was tasty. Wife had a Faerie Fire (vodka, chili pepper, cilantro, lime) Cucumber salad were cut bigger than I'm used to, but it didn't take away from flavor. Edamame seasoned well. Spicy pork dumplings, yum. Can't wait to come again and try more food choices. It'll get a 5th star for sure.
Great place to eat before going to the Chase Center quick service and convenient location.
Not the authentic Chinese dumplings. But the food quality is very good. Service is super and environment is very nice. It is in the Chase center so you can enjoy the show from the outside stage when you eat your food there.

Great food, terrible service. The waiter Henry was mean from the get go, every time we asked something he responded in a rude manner. This was after a game, so it’s unacceptable the wey he treated us as costumers and game-goers. Would come back, but avoiding being in Henry’s service.
My friend work across the street and told me how amazing this place is. We came here for an evening date and it was a good environment. We are also from another state, but we’ve had dumplings and dim sum recently in the Richmond district a few weeks prior to this. The food was overpriced and it tasted okay. It wasn’t bad but it wasn’t impressive either. My only complaint would be the ribs; they were very dry with little meat on it. The presentation of the food has been great, but I think we’ll go other places for this style of cuisine.

Eh. Came here on a friends suggestion but wasn’t the best. Fish toast — great! Pan fried bao, was yummy. However, XLB were sticky and tore apart when trying to eat them and the wagyu potstickers weren’t great (very dry).
If you're craving Asian food before a game or concert at Chase, this is a solid spot. The food isn't something to write home about but it does the job. For the price of a chicken tenders meal at Chase, you can get a tastier dish here. Service was good and while the restaurant was a bit cramped, it was good that they could accommodate a lot of people.
Food was fine but we are in San Francisco so it’s hard to compete with the mom and pop dumpling places. Prices are a little high. We came here because it was close to the concert venue. Service was good. The dumpling dough is a little too thick and pasty but the flavor is good. I’m leaving a 3 review because the bathrooms were utterly a mess. The sink area was soaking wet. I was standing in water and the counters had standing water on them. The toilet that I was in wasn’t flushing on it’s own and the button was broken so I had to ball up paper and use it to press the toilet flush button. Probably won’t got back to this location. Others that I have been to had decent restrooms so hopefully this is just a one off and bad timing or something. So again, food is fine, service is good, prices are high for what you get, bathrooms needed attending. If bathrooms had been clean I’d have given a 4. :) cheers!
Ordered Chandon brut $14.00 and was billed over $20 the guy that served me, an Asian man, told me he gave me something else that was not listed with a glass pricing. I feel that that was very very dishonest and greedy of him. Will never return for business…. He kept hovering over me asking to if I was ordering food and I casually responded that I just wanted a glass of Chandon and was seated at the bar. You need to close if you can’t afford to be honest. Wow!!
Be ready for a super gross toilet when you use the bathroom. This restaurant is horrible. I understand it is in chase center so it is over priced but the food quality is nothing authentic Chinese. The most annoying thing is their toilets don't flush so it's super gross. I confronted the waiter and waitress and they just lied in front of me claiming it is working. Can you not even fix your toilet while charging 2 to 3x of regular price?
Waitress asked me 10 times what drink I wanted after I clearly told her. Seems like she was more interested in her own suggestions and maybe was surprised I wouldn’t take her tip for a different cocktail. Please listen to the customer instead. Service was poor overall. Dirty napkins were left on our table the entire 45 min stay after a small spill of water when we sat down. None of the waiters came up to us the whole time to ask for refills/more orders. The restaurant was half empty also. The food however was great 8/10.
