We stopped by on a Monday to check the place out. It's a big place with side VIP and Karaoke rooms, as well as a dance area in the back. Upstairs they have 2 pool tables and a couple lounge areas. Word has it they have live DJ's on weekends. We started with an assortment of Lychee cocktails which we're all good. Then we got fresh spring rolls, and potstickers for appetizers. For our main course I got the rare beef Pho, another person got rare beef with meatballs, and the third person got the Tofu Bahn Mi. All of it was good and the prices are reasonable.
We stopped by this spot to visit the VIP Karaoke room. We were celebrating a staff party. The bar and atmosphere was very cool. The staff was very attentive. We didn't eat this time, but we will definitely come back!
Don't know why this place is only a 4 star. The pho, pork belly, egg rolls, and beverages were awesome. The egg rolls were forgotten but they made up for it ny giving them us on the house for waiting for so long. Other than that everything was great!
Good food. Good Drinks. Great staff. Process are a little high about 60 dollars a person we got 1 appetizer each ,shared an entree and 2 drinks each($30) but its alameda definitely recommend.

After a concert was searching for a late night spot to eat! The heavens above led us right to Pho Nation!! It turns into a night club, so we walked right into the DJ spinning and then a lovely lady approached us, and we said is did still being served? She said, yes! And to our surprised, it was some of the best Vietnamese food we’d EVER had!!!
I have never been here but they are a late night restaurant on DoorDash, and boy I am glad they are! They are the only hearty, healthy restaurant open late, but guess what? They are actually *good!* They are so good they are my go-to pho place even in daytime hours. My husband is allergic to onions and they have been pretty good at removing them when he order food here. Highly recommend them!
Pho Nation is a nice huge for big groups and small groups. Very spacious, delicious food. Their pho selection is delicious. It’s the only place in Alameda that their kitchen opens very late for a great meal. And the drinks are delicious. Great music, and they do karaoke there as well for small or big group. Wonderful place and the staff are super friendly. Great place to be.
This is a cool spot for Dinner or late night eats. Vibe is dope. They have a DJ playing.

He loved the pork sandwich, he told me there was a pork sandwich there, and anyway... Anyway, he wanted to try it, he wanted me to go too because you know I like it too, and he kept calling me, calling me, calling me, calling me, calling me, calling me, calling me all week. One day I said, "Let's go now, right now, right now, right now, right now, right now!" and we went. We recommend the sandwich. The sandwich is well-made, it's tasty, however, there's something sweet in it that isn't ideal for my palate; a sweet pork sandwich isn't ideal for me, but it's worth the visit and worth trying. It's approved, but for my palate, it's not ideal.
Cool spot to grab drinks if you want to be lowkey. They stay open late and the drinks were “ strong”. The food was good but it didn’t blow me away. Great service tho! *Side note*Uber there if you plan on getting tipsy because Alameda has a heavy police presence 🙄
Surprise hangout in Alameda on Park St. From the name you'd think it is just a typical Pho spot but once you get inside you'll find a spacious full bar, VIP room equipped restaurant/lounge. They have comedy shows, feature bands that embrace southeast Asian culture and DJ's. There are plenty of seats in this place and during nights with DJ's spinning they would open the floor for dancing. It's definitely not a quiet place to dine in but more of an ambiance as if you were in the street venue in Asia. From all the items I've tried and ordered, I haven't had one bad dish yet. I really like their pho and the liquid gold (pho broth) is well seasoned. My second favorite is the pork belly for sure. You can go wrong with ordering anything here when it comes to the food. If you're having a group event, you can rent the VIP room equipped with screens and mic for karaoke or just listening to music. Large communal table to share food and a lounge seating area to hang out. The bottle service is really reasonably priced as well! Staff is friendly and down to earth. Great place to have a good time and eat to sober you up before you head out. They also have to-go if you'd like to dine in the comfort of your own home.

Cool bar, but I came for the food and it was a one and that’s it for me. Edible, nice staff and good music.
If you're looking for a quiet spot family friendly pho shop, this isn't it. This venue is a bar that happens to sell pho. The good: - Really big venue, lots of seating and standing room. Would be great for a huge party. - Open really late. Nice if you have a pho craving after 10pm but they close at 2am so you gotta plan ahead if you want some pho after the club - Pho broth was good, was it worth the price not really. The bad: - The noodles were lumped up like they were taken out of a Ziploc bag. The noodles broke when I unlumped then. That's ok if it's takeout but $17 at a sit down restaurant, unimpressed. - Severely understaffed. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and assume I got unlucky and came on a busy Sunday but it was very noticeable. There were 2 bartenders and a busy boy/ waiter. Tables that were not cleared. There was not one to flag down so we sat ourselves and got our own menus. Bartender was helping serve the food and taking orders. - Wobbly table. Not sure how that's possible given this is a brand new restaurant but if you're asking $17 for pho and $15 for cocktails that's pretty disappointing. - Weird restaurant layout. Half the restaurant was like a sports bar and the other half was setup like a generic pho shop. tl;dr Come here if you're looking to pregame or host a big party. Would not recommend the pho here. Save a few dollars and eat at the two other pho shops near by.
My partner and I wanted to try this and see how it compares to other pho places on Alameda. I felt it was pricey for what we got. I think the pho was mid to be honest. I've had more authentic tasting at other places around Alameda. The atmosphere was a little loud but that didn't bother us and everyone was super friendly and welcoming. Overall I wouldn't come here again for the food but definitely would like to try the drinks!

really nice place but the food is okay i guess and the service is kinda bad we had to wait for abt 10-15 mins for them to come
Straight up average. The white meat chicken pho was okay but the chicken was a bit overcooked, dry and chewy, and the broth was okay but a little saltier than it needed to be. Service was fast and friendly, although there was a mistake bringing out the appetizer after the entree. I like the dining room.

The food was good, not amazing but good. The egg rolls were average though..I expect imperial rolls at a Vietnamese place, these were more like frozen egg rolls. The atmosphere though.. awful. And I don't really care as much as other people.. first off the windows are all blacked out from the inside like a dive bar. The space is huge, but they didn't use the table space well and some of the booth seats are too low for the tables. We went a second time last night (a Thursday, early evening) and it was so loud!! They had a game on a whole bunch of TV's, the dining room was empty when we arrived except for some screaming girls in one of the back rooms where we tried to escape the noise. The bass was crazy loud and vibrated through your whole body, we went to a different room, it was still super loud and the lights in there were awful, super bright and not even aligned with the tables. After trying to flag someone down to order for a while we eventually left in search of a restaurant instead of a night club disguised as a restaurant. Also when we walked back there was a big crowd of guys smoking in front, and I noticed all the cigarette butts they had thrown everywhere in front of the restaurant. It looked like everyone who worked there plus the few people hanging out at the bar had gone outside to smoke right in front of the doors. Never going back.
I will note that i have worked in the restaurant industry for the past decade and while i understand that service should not be a detriment to the food, i can barely unravel what transpired here. I sat down at 11pm on a wednesday night, a server with red hair and glasses came up to us and asked for our order within maybe 2 minutes. We ordered 2 bowls of pho and chicken wings. About 20 minutes later we saw a table that had ordered after us get their food. Which i did not think anything of as this could happen due to the order. Me and my friend were talking, diligently waiting for our food. A different server came up to us about 10 minutes (by this point it had been over 40 minutes) and asked us if we had EVEN ORDERED OUR FOOD. obviously we were shocked by this because we told her that another girl had taken our order. This new server apologized profusely about the order not being sent in. At this moment i had taken a scan around the dining area and there were maybe 4-5 tables max all of which already had food. Not only were we upset but the girl who had originally taken our order came back and dropped off some lemon drink which she didnt apologize for and didnt acknowledge that she had even made a mistake. I looked for their email on their website, which to my dismay did not load (website). We ordered the food which we had ordered nearly an hour ago to go, and they gave us thai teas as if that was meant to solve the very clear neglect they had on the FEW tables that were in the restaurant. I normally would NEVER complain about a restaurant's service as i myself have been through that hell hole but the overall lack of concern they had for the few customers that were in house is irresponsible and alarming. If anyone ever asks me about a pho place in alameda or oakland, they will know for damn sure that this is one of the places they should not go to.

Terrible! They are a new place with some years here in Alameda? But the service was completely absent! Even after I told them that I am a new customer who lives here on Alameda!!! Don’t come here for pho or drinks. There are far better places. Atmosphere is decidedly unfriendly. AVOID!
Well unfortunately, it didn't measure up to my expectations. I was hoping a place with so much dining area would have a menu and barrage of flavor to match. My 1st Time, I am a vegetarian, and the vegetarian phò didn't have any flavor. The noodles were short, very short and soggy. I've never been served short noodles with Phó. I went there because of the 2 story layout, but it turned out the upper level is only for vip bottle purchases. So sad, and disappointing.
I stopped by on the late night because I was hangry and need some food . I go in and it’s very busy can’t see a waiter anywhere so I got and sit in my usual spot still not seeing a waiter anywhere. I get up and wait near the cash register and finally find someone and ask to sit in my usual spot where it’s empty but he kept insisting I eat in the back , so I ask again to sit in my spot and he saying it’s to loud where I want to sit . IT SHOULDNT MATER IF it’s loud or not I want to sit in my usual spot it shouldn’t be a problem so I just left angry and still hungry .

As a restaurant owner, I strongly advise against visiting and trusting Pho Nation. On my second visit, I encountered an issue where, despite the posted closing time of 2 a.m, they refused to allow dine in service after 1 a.m. Their system appears flawed, as they begin cleaning an hour before the actual closing time. Please use your brain. If they are cutting corners in such basic business operations, it’s obvious other corners are being cut, particularly regarding health department regulations in areas not visible to customers. On top of this, the food is just mid, I only ever go here when it’s late and absolutely nothing else is open for dine in. Please be safe and avoid this place!!!

It’s 12:30am no one answers the phone. I wanna ask when is your kitchen closed? You state 2am closure on your website and Google maps but what are you doing with your business? If you won’t answer better change your hours realistically.
