This place is always tasty and my daughter (picky eater) will always eat anything I bring from here. The people are always nice and accommodate any changes I need to my order. Love it.

A perfect like taqueria! Friendly service, great, quirky decorations, and delicious, gigantic and cheap burritos. After a long day working at the hospital, I always stop by here for a comfort burrito. One my favorite spots in Oakland.

Delicious food here! I'm currently eating my way through their burrito options with all the meat variety they have. Makes my day when I eat here. I especially recommend the fresh orange juice!!!

We chose the taqueria because it was less than a kilometer (0.5 miles) from where we were and we didn’t want to spend any extra time driving around. Honestly, we didn’t expect much. I had the burrito with tongue/lengua and everything. It was very, very tasty! It had just the right mix of rice, beans, meat, and cheese. I will drive a little extra next time to go there! Oh, and the horchata was on point!

This place fire 🔥🔥🔥 their monster burrito is hella good and HUGE. Plus DeWalt is better than Milwaukee let the cashier know that 😂😂😂

Though it’s a small spot, the food quality is excellent, and the customer service is outstanding. The shrimp burrito was juicy, flavorful, and served in a reasonable time. Convenient roadside parking is available.

For $17 & some change, I got 4 tacos & a canned soda. Tacos i got were; lengua, cabeza, buche & tripas... they were all good, but i just prefer the buche & tripas they had some texture and a bit more flavor. These tacos are pretty straight forward, its difficult to mess them up so, great they did good here, what makes tacos; is the salsa though, and this salsa roja here is just "ok". Not the best salsa roja ive had, & thats what marks these tacos down 1 star... Still i would return. I like the location, the atmosphere is nice, and the employees are super sweet and helpful. Ill be back for sure. ♡♡

And the horchata Is actually home made... Taste the difference :) Great place to visit any time you're near lake Merritt and want to get away from the ruckus.

I reluctantly walked down the street to this Mexican restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the decor which was warm and welcoming. I ordered Chile Verde quesadilla that was definitely pleasing to my taste buds. The gentleman that took my order was very hospitable. Extremely nice experience.

This is my go to place for carnitas! The friendly owner says he stands by his product, and I’m so glad I tried the carnitas. I come here once a week now.

Always drive by this place on my way home but finally tried it today while out on a walk. The carnitas burrito was delicious - meat was moist and flavorful. On my way out I wanted to buy a Jarritos but didn’t have cash, and the price was under their credit card minimum. The cashier told me to take it and pay next time I’m in. Such a nice gesture, and I will definitely be back!

Quite a solid burrito. I looked their sour cream ratio. Love the small neighborhood vibe, too. Rarely a line when I've gone, so it's a quick grab. Great red salsa.

Cute little place walking distance from where I stayed tacos are excellent lots of different meat options. Had a California burrito, not sure if this a thing but it was loaded with fries and carne asada (choice) yummy if u have the munchies.

The burrito I got was just average, kind of bland. At first the woman taking orders was very cold and dismissive of me, but I complimented the decor and she warmed up to me. She wasn't very helpful when I was trying to figure out what to order, but I chalked it up to her obvious difficulties with English. I liked the kitschy atmosphere, and enjoyed looking at all the crazy stuff on the walls while a waited a surprisingly long time for my little burrito. I'll probably be back, but I wish they would improve their salsa.

It’s been 4 years since I’ve had a burrito. I must say, this would of gotten 5 stars from me IF the meat was not loaded with salt. If they let the customer add the salt to their own food, I would highly recommend this place. If you are on blood pressure medications or have high cholesterol please ask them to NOT add salt to your order. The meat in the burrito was so salty it actually stung the pallet. Other than that the rice and beans were cooked perfectly. The avocado was so good, parsley was fresh. The meat: SALTY. Bummer.

I'm only giving it a 2 because there are some nice people there. I love Mexican food it isn't the best but it is convenient. What upset me is to have two different people quote me a higher price. The price on the wall says one thing and I'm told something completely different. I try patronizing people and I'm lied to. The food isn't that great . I won't be coming back. I hesitated about coming back because I have become sick after eatting there in the past. This was pre-covid. A family member had same problems and stoped patronizing them.

So, I'm all about Mexican food. And this place.... was NOT it. I don't even know where to start. Only reason I came here was because it was the only place closes to where I was. So I go, prices are crazy!!! But, it's whatever. I ordered 3 tacos de asada. Umm..... not only are they small, but there was no meat on them. I'm a bit picky and may exaggerate a little, but I even send a picture to my bf who knows me and he even agreed and said those did not look good. They were not. Someone had ordered tacos dorados.... Umm, when did tacos dorados become taco bell tacos? They really use taco shells.... not no fried tortillas. My co-worker is vegetarian and ordered a veggie burrito that had meat in it. Don't go there unless you're starving.

$15.50 fir a burrito?! Vegetarian added fries (California burrito, super stoked on the option) All it was was :rice, beans, cheese, fries. Totally dry and way overpriced. No happy

tacos were bland and SUPER overpriced (if u read other reviews people also agree this place is overpriced) the salsa was not spicy at all and when we asked for grilled onions on the side they gave us like 3 little onion slivers. upon arriving the restaurant was dirty, tables had pieces of meat from the previous people and the floor was filthy, was covered with meat bits, they clearly don’t clean very often. I wouldn’t recommend, you can definitely find better and more budget friendly.

Twice I have found meat in my vegetarian burrito. The first time I thought it was a fluke and gave them another chance, which I now regret. I don't know what's going in the kitchen that they're unable to keep meat out of the veggie burritos, but it's clear that they're not taking any care whatsoever when they cook. I'll never go back.

First, I noticed it’s more expensive than the good burrito places around town. Then, I received the smallest burrito I’ve ever seen. As a joke, it’s hilarious. As dinner, you’ll need 2 or 3.

Prices go up every month , they charge extra for cold tortilla chips, Salsa has no flavor and the super burrito cost $12 that has a teaspoon of meat , cheese and Sour Cream. It's all Tortilla! I live walking distance and I guess it's still slight better than the gas station. I wish Taco Sinaloa would buy them out. There are so many Mexican food restaurants that are so much better that are not nearly as expensive. A good burrito is about $10. And that's expensive at the end of the day it's just beans and cheese and cheap meat. Please stop the inflation, if you're going to charge that amount used good quality ingredients and be a little bit more gracious in filling the burrito. Peace, love, and honesty.

I ordered the meal and when i was trying to enjoy "my\our" meals they did not give us the proper garnishments that were supposed to come with the Burrito's and the Steak Nachos and i went to the counter to ask for them, and they where distracted and keept telling me "just one minute" and my\our meals where getting cold, so i made a "executive decision" and reached over the counter to get two bags of the garnishments and return to my table to get to and enjoy our meals. A few minutes later the woman that was behind the counter came to us at our table and stated in a "very strongan loud voice" and said please" dont reach over the counter to get anything" and frightened me and my Beautiful Loveone and future Wife. I then stated that " i did come to the counter to ask for the things that should have come with the meal, but you keept telling me just a minute just a minute and our meals where getting cold, so the garnishments were right there so, i reached over the counter and I got what we needed to enjoy our food and they came with or where supposed to come with the meal at know\no cost. I have only been there twice and it may bee "sooommmeee" time before i would even consider going back there. But i do recommend that restaurants to anyone who Loves "Poorly Prepared Food" "Bad Manners" and "Being Talked Down To" for it seems that all that is included with the meal, lf it where on the menu i may have ordered that if i knew it was a added bonus to help spice up our meal. There is very little business going in there now, and i can see that "with these added bonuses free at know\no cost" to the customer, is a reason why there customer's seem to give them the respect that they work very hard at to give freely and even without even having to order it from the menu. The shrimp broth is very good, but the service is bad. They don't have any kind of bottled sauce, not even the most commercial Tapatio ones. And the worst thing is that they don't have bathrooms for customer service. I have never been to a restaurant without bathrooms for the customer.
