The Dry Fried Diced Chicken was really good. I came here off a recommendation from a friend and that’s what she recommended. The outside is crispy while the inside is juicy, the glaze on it is sweet and sour and the green onions balances it all. I also had the Shrimp Dumplings and the shrimp inside tasted really high quality. The atmosphere inside was very cozy and the waitress served us like we were a part of their family. I’ll definitely be coming back here again.
I came here a few days ago for lunch. The atmosphere was welcoming as Christina was a lovely host. I came alone and ordered the chicken chow mein and the original dry fried diced chicken. The food was amazing and the portions were generous. Next time I come, and I will definitely be coming back, I hope to bring my friends so we can eat family style.
Great food + atmosphere. This husband and wife duo are a great addition to the neighborhood. We should support and continue to support small businesses like theirs. Food is great and satisfying!
Seafood soup hit the spot on this cold night. Lemon chicken was delicious. Service was great. Will definitely return!
The Dried fried chicken wings are amazing!!
Was a cold afternoon and Christine mentioned everyone having won ton soup. I thought good idea so I ordered that and the sesame ckn sooooo good.
Finally a beef chow fun I can photograph!
Food is delicious! You can tell that the ingredients are fresh. So happy found this spot! Family style.

From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that instantly made me feel at home. This definitely hit the spot as a person who grew up eating chinese food. The staff at this restaurant are so sweet and go above and beyond! Every dish I've tried at Teng Long is soo good, specifically, the Original Dry Fried Chicken Wings. I can honestly say these are some of the best wings I’ve ever had. It's clear that a lot of love and expertise goes into the preparation. From the great customer service and amazing food, this place has officially become one of my go-to spots! Highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Tenglong’s wings are my absolute favorite in the city and is a must try. I’ve had a lot of Chinese style fried chicken wings but these are by far the best! The rest of the menus is also extremely good.
I’ve taken to long weekend walks across the City, and my mid-point is always Teng Long for dinner. I almost always get the garlic sautéed string-beans with pork. Quite a simple dish all told, but somehow the chef here makes of it utter perfection. Christina, the owner, is such a friendly presence, welcoming regulars (like me) and new customers alike, with warmth. It is delightful, and this is why I come back here time and again. It feels like home cooking and a familial, human connection, here at Teng Long. They’re also known for their barbecue wings, which I’ve also had, and the glowing reviews for this dish are 100% accurate. Highly recommended, among the mass of Chinese restaurants dotting Clement Street and elsewhere in the Inner Sunset.
I love this Little restaurant, the Food is fresh , the lemon chicken and fried rice are my favorites
Great options for vegans. Had the sesame meatless chicken, savory and delicious. Green beans and tofu were tasty as well. Very nice and helpful waiter. Very clean and chill atmosphere. Will definitely come back!
A surprise find with a great selection of meat, chicken, and vegetarian options! This feels like a true family restaurant. Our server was so friendly. We came in and had to be back to work in 45 min so she got the food right out to us. I was amazed at the vegetarian options, including a delicious vegetarian mu shu and an entire listing of meatless chicken dishes. We will be back when we have more time to relax and enjoy.
We love this place. If you want to feel at home, seen and well-fed, this is your eatery. I am a creature of habit so not overly versed in the full menu here and I recommend everything I've ever ordered: the lunch specials, the broccoli beef, the chicken chow mein and the won ton soup. Even the rice and Sprite have a special vibe. One can hear Christine (our usual waitress)'s husband working in the kitchen to make our wonderful food. Today my won ton soup had crisp zucchini, firm shrimp, green green spinach, water chestnuts, bamboo, golden broth and pillows of pork won tons that got me back on my feet on a chilly day. This place has great food, reasonable prices and that je ne sais quoi that makes one feel truly nourished.
10/31/2025 9pm . This place is great. Went in and ordered because they were the first restaurant that actually noticed me. Ordered to go and was worth the wait. Quality food and would return in the future. Taste great also. Incredible service, thank you.
Excellent food prepared with great care (for example the outer skins of the tails of the shrimp were removed by hand and not just cut off). Christina was very friendly!

I had a few dishes but the Beef With String Bean and the Honey Walnut Prawn, both stood out and was authentically Chinese. Had a chat with the store owner and it’s amazing to learn how they were able to make the black beans so flavorful. Their Basil Spicy Eggplant Pork isn’t very bad, I wish that the Eggplant is slightly thinly sliced as chunky doesn’t really absorb the flavor well, but the flavor is amazing! Gave them feedbacks and I hope that they’ll be able to attract more people. I’m not so sure if it would be suitable for people who loves strong flavors but you can make a note to them that you like strong flavors.
Came for a light dinner with my Aunt, ordering the Dry fried wings along with the Singapore style noodles. Service was friendly and the flavors of both the wings and the noodles were delicious. It's a cozy intimate vibe if you're dining in. I'll likely return to try more of the menu the next foggy night when I don't feel like cooking.

So I was hungry for some pork chow mein and in the area. Other reviews said this place was good, so I stopped in. Boy, were they wrong... First off, it was prime evening dinner time on New Years Day. There was only 1 table eating in the place. It is a small dining area where 8 maybe 10 tables. The lady at the register greeted me and took my order, which after seeing the place, I ordered to go instead of eating there. I ordered the pork chow mein that I was craving and a beer while I waited. There was (what I assume to be a family member or staff member) with his head down and slumped by the register, and a very unhappy vibe coming from him, not saying anything but staring at me. This was uncomfortable, to say the least, but it gets even worse.... I get my order and go outside. I open the bag, and there are no napkins. The chopsticks are super thin and can barely hold food, and there is o ly a very small thing of a chili sauce.. maybe one ounce at best. The food itself was just plain bad. The noodles were bland, and that's ALL THERE WAS....NOODLES.... I ate the entire plate, and it only had 3 bites of pork and no veggies besides a couple ( literally 2 or 3) shreds of carrots . When I finally got to tell the bottom of the plate, there were a few more scraps of pork and a small piece of green onion... (see picture included). When I think of good chow mein, I can see plenty of meat and veggies. This was the exact opposite. For almost $20, I expect a lot more than bland noodles and no meat and veggies. If I could give the place 0 stars, I would... Avoid this place if you can help it.

Yikes. I had heard the wings here were really good. Came in at 3pm on a Saturday. Not only did we wait close to 30min for our food, but for $17 we only got 4 chicken wings. For another $17 we got a plate of mixed vegetables with the blandest broccoli, carrot, cabbage, and zucchini I've ever had. I've eaten that same dish at plenty of Chinese places in SF and at a minimum it's supposed to be fairly savory. The server was clearly a nice person but when we asked for "knives" he brought only one, clearly unwashed knife. They need a different server. They also couldn't pay me to come back.
