I recently visit top sf with my friends. The vibe is great for gathering. The Chinese music is good. The food is authentic Chinese barbecue style.
Amazing authentic chinese BBQ skewers and other eats too! Fresh ingredients and great atmosphere too.
Food is really amazing, definitely recommend. Bring your family and friends here they will definitely enjoy eating here namsaying ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Second time eating here and adding to our permanent restaurant rotation. If you order the right items, the food is delicious. Well seasoned and perfect for carnivores or animal based eaters. We have young children, so we ask for non spicy. Best items are the lamb, chicken skin and chicken feet skewers.
My boyfriend and I came to dine in and eat after ordering delivery from here several times and we absolutely love it! Tastes just like the authentic skewers back in Asia and this is definitely becoming a staple for us (we loved everything but definitely get the lamb and chicken skin skewers as well as the grilled eggplant) :)
Top SF BBQ exceeded my expectations! The food was delicious, with an authentic flavor that stood out. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, perfect for a great meal. The portion sizes were generous, leaving us more than satisfied. I highly recommend this place to anyone craving quality BBQ!
This is a default place for me and my husband when we don’t want to cook the dinner. The food is always good and the service is fast. My personal favor dishes are lamb skewers, oyster and chongqing hot sour noodle. These are must to order.
Top SF BBQ is a gem! The barbecue here is incredibly flavorful and authentic, reminiscent of classic BBQ joints. The ambiance adds to the experience, creating a warm and welcoming vibe. Portions are generous, making it a great value for the price. I can't recommend this place enough for BBQ lovers!
The skewers were very good. We also ordered the hot and sour noodle which was very tasty as well. The service was good too! Will definitely come back!
The Chongqing noodles are SO good. Love this place. Been coming here since 2022, and there quality is still amazing. 10/10 would recommend
Loved the barbeque. It's always great to find a Chinese style barbecue restaurant. It was seasoned perfectly and there is extra xinjiang seasoning on the table. The waiter was always making sure I had something on the table.
Food was tasty and fresh. I like trying out the different types food with small portions. Service was great and attentive.
A great place to get Chinese BBQ skewers in the Richmond. One of my favorite items to get are the chicken and beef skewers. Also for veggie options, I like to get their chives and corn *ask for extra toasty :) Service is quick and friendly. Recommend coming before 8pm so you can beat the rush!
So good! We walked in on a Friday night last night. We were very impressed by our server who was doing it all by himself while still being super nice and never losing his cool and remaining professional and collected. What a pro! We tipped him super well because he deserved it and the food was absolutely amazing. The food was so delicious I couldn’t bother taking a photo except for the one of our veggies. We got the cabbage and green onions, lamb skewers which were our favorite, beef, sausage. Highly recommend the lamb and green onions. We’re definitely coming back!
Amazing authentic bbq from northern China. No wait at 6:30pm. Underrated place!! Spacious and clean. Waiter says peak traffic is at 9pm. Get beef, lamb, chicken, potato slice, liangpi Liangpi is sweeter than ideal but still good Skip sausage (American style), tofu skin, tofu enoki, bbq squid
Having late-night snacks in SF, I found this place. The brown sugar ice jelly is very authentic, just like how it's made in China. The lamb and beef skewers are also very juicy, and the service is very friendly.
Fantastic local spot for Chinese BBQ skewers! Meat skewers are all well spiced, and enoki mushroom, grilled corn, and tofu skin skewers are highlights among vegetable options. Beyond that, grilled squid and grilled sesame flatbread are both tasty too. Highly recommend finishing with fried mantou and condensed milk!
We came here for a late night meal and were throughly satisfied! The skewers and other dishes were flavored and cooked very well. The workers here were nice and attentive. The portions for the prices were also fair. Would come again
Craved Chinese skewers and Top SF BBQ delivered all that and more! Fantastic and authentic skewers and other delicious bites!
Eggplant was a highlight , beef and cabbage insane as well! Snow beer is a delight !!
Skewers and service is fantastic. You don’t need to worry there is no place for food since they are open until midnight.
Nice service and decent food. Recommended and support local small businesses.
Best Chinese BBQ even better than their counterparts in China.
Good taste and yummy beef and lamb! squid also good!

Visited here hundreds of times already; nice service and tasty food :)
Such a great place to get yummy BBQ skewers! My personal favourites are the bacon wrapped enoki, fried tofu skin, and grilled corn. The skewers come out on mini grills and stay warm while you eat. Great service and clean restaurant as well. One of my favourite places to go to on a rainy day!
I really enjoyed the food! The skewers were well cooked and we had a couple of other dishes like cucumber salad and spicy sour soup which was amazing! Highly recommend. You can also ask for no seasoning if you want something milder.

Damn its so good. The seasoning for the skewers is amazing. Rich in cumin and other traditional spices. Splash of taiwanese asian fusion? Boy its pricey for skewers and rice to go with it... everything is small portioned. The oyster was hella good too
Tasty skewers, the dumplings were fantastic, unfortunately I didn't grab a pic of those.
Yummy skewers. We came late at night and had no problem being seated. The skewers come out fast enough too. There are a ton of options. They had new ownership change this past year so worth giving this place another shot. I think they put the same dry seasoning on all their skewers so everything kind of tastes the same. They should vary it up more. The bacon enoki is good, and some of the other ones but I don't remember which ones exactly. Good service and friendly staff. This place hit the spot for us.

Great place for skewers and dumplings. They also serve a range of alcohol. Their iced jelly dessert is really nice as well. I loved the bean curd skin skewers and chicken skin skewers. The lamb skewers were great too. Their noodles were also delicious but spicy. Clean bathroom and not far to the bus stop.
Pretty good overall! Some skewers will be better than others. The beef was absolutely delicious! It's got a hint of sweetness to it that paired really well. They're light on the spices, which I enjoyed; I'm here to eat meat, not drink crushed peppercorn. I'd avoid the oyster and sausages. Exceptional service, decent pricing for the amount of food. Good skewer spot!
Wanted to try this out after driving by a bunch of times. We weren’t impressed or wow’d by the meal. Came here on a weeknight and the place was empty. Perhaps we were supposed to drink alcohol and enjoy the food better but after a few skewers everything tastes the same. The enoki with bacon and chicken skin was the best skewers in our opinion and the rest (beef, pork belly, tofu) was ok just on the greasy side. The noodle soup was a bit spicy for my friends so I ended up eating most of it. The grilled squid was a bit tough and didn’t have much flavoring. The dumplings were average and the same goes for the the fried egg/crepe thing. We did order another round of chicken skin, bacon-wrapped enoki and pork belly to finish out the dinner. For $148 I think that dinner here at that price is excessive especially without alcohol.
The best authentic Chinese style BBQ in the city! Finally, I found one, and keep come in probably more than 3 times. I do love their collection and they also have Ma La Tang. But I have to say they need to improve their environment.

Service was fast but everything was overcooked and every dish had a dusting of a spicy rub that made everything taste exactly like the next dish. My hot sake was served cold. Not returning.
Everythings great but you guys need to VENTILATE bc it’s very SMOKY and STUFFY. Kind of a health hazard. Food and service is great thoug
Food was very skimp. Barely anything on the wooden skewers. Wouldn't recommend. Spent $40 for basically nothing.
Food is OK, but just average Chinese BBQ taste. Wait time is a nightmare and super torturing. The first dish was served 30 minutes after ordering. Then every 10 minutes another dish (something you can finish eating in 1min) was served. After one and half hour, we still didn’t get lamb and chicken. The price is also 25% higher than normal Chinese BBQ. Unreasonable high price, average taste, terrible wait time. Also finding a parking spot around there takes you another 30 minutes. I won’t go there again and highly don’t recommend.
One of the worst experiences I've ever had. We were hungry and sat down to order right away. We waited 40 minutes for our first plate of two skewers, and another 20 minutes for the next plate. The portions were so small and all the dishes were burned char black. You may not notice or care if you were already drunk, but for the sober, this place is horrible. I thought that the service may be a redeeming factor, but I was wrong. We had a half finished plate of squid at our table with some used skewers on it and another empty plate beside it. The waitress came over and asked if we were done with the plate, and before we could answer, placed the empty plate on top of the squid that we were still eating. We were so disappointed and disgusted that we decided to get the bill before all our food arrived. While they were ringing us up, we noticed the staff kept whispering and looking over at our table. Lo and behold, they charged us for the food that never arrived, hoping we wouldn't notice. At the end of the night our bill was $70+ and we still left hungry. The other stone faced patrons all around us should have been a clear warning sign to stay away from this place.
Unbelievable, one server on a Friday night the food is very small in portions. I’m talking 4 dollars for 2 mini wings. The food was all seasoned the same. Not trying to pull the racial profiling card but we were sat down first and served last. The table next to us was given a dish to throw edamame shells into. My table was not given one. The shells were placed on the table because the food dishes were to small to eat off of. The part that was most upsetting is that meat and main courses came before the corn. We were able to eat and finish and the vegetables still were not given to us. We ended up leaving upset. Not worth the $$$
