shrimp & fish with fried ocra. Only thing left on the plate was three shrimp tails. Cooked perfectly. very tasteful I will be back again.. Their rolls are the best. \nGOLDEN CHICK!

Nice clean restaurant only reason it wasn't a 5 star was the mac was lacking flavor. Mashed potatoes were good actually had butter, salt, and pepper. Gravy was delicious. Tenderd were fresh and breading stayed attached. Workers were in a good mood and the vibe was happy.

I was just pleased with the experience. The counter girl was attentive and helped me to decide what to order due to it being my first time. My food came quick and hot. Chicken was flavorful. Potatoes and gravy were also pleasant. One young lady in a black shirt, however, just ignored me. It was also fairly inexpensive. Free ice cream for dine ins. Will be an option on my next craving.

I don’t know if it’s a Texas thing but the gravy was not it . And I didn’t like how the mash potatoes had no seasoning at all . Even with the white gravy. I had to add a bunch of salt and pepper to even get a decent taste on it . Also $10 for a piece of bread, small amount of mashed and 2 chicken with a drink is kind of overpriced.

I ordered in the drive thru. I paid for a two piece one breast and wing meal. They gave me a leg and a wing. I tried to call the store to let them know, they didn’t answer. The rolls are really good, the rest of the food is okay. Make sure to check your food before leaving the drive-thru. On the other hand my child’s meal was right and enjoyed.

I've been to this place several times, and I always enjoy the food! One little suggestion I have is that they could add a bit less ice in the cups when you go through the drive-thru. It would make the experience even better! Update: 6-21-2025 Still the same issues with ice in the cups.

I ordered this through Uber Eats because I didn't want to deal with traffic! Also, we don't have that many Golden Chick's in Houston, so I try to get it when I can. For some reason, I had a taste for fish, so I tried their fish and also lemon pepper wings. I will say that the sides, the dirty rice and green beans are always good...they just didn't fill the container. I really, really, really love the sweet tea and the homemade rolls...both are to die for and both were perfect! Now let me get to the fish! The fish was small...fish stick size small! Also, it didn't seem fresh, it's not worth the price! The lemon pepper wings didn't taste like any lemon pepper I've ever tasted and the seasoning was inconsistent. I thought about the pics too late...Sorry!

Male staff said he the manager is rude to me. He wasn’t even tryna fix the problem. The last staff did fix it. They give u a very small amount of food but chargers you full dollars. Fish tiny roasted chicken tiny and over cooked . They gave me a drop of mash potatoes and gravy literally. It wasn’t even half the lil bowl. The only thing I liked was my sides the spicy rice nd my dinner roll. The chicken didn’t even have a taste. I’ll never go back to this location . DoorDash has delivered me better Golden chick in my location

I was working over night in the shopping center across the street and they wouldn't sell me a sweat tea unless I had a vehicle even though I'm 15 steps away from the establishment....

Absolutely disgusting I spent 40$ worth food then gave me a half a spoon a Mac and cheese a side and the chicken cold and old. This was my first time here and I will never come back not to mention all the staff looked lost and dont know what the hell there doing.

I actually was excited to try the Nashville Hot Chicken. It was NOT edible at all!!! It had a ridiculous amount of salt/seasoning. If you value your health and want to avoid high blood pressure...stay away from this sandwich....I'm not sure if that's how it was supposed to be or if there's an issue with whomever prepared this food. 😒

Always get the order wrong with the sauces. Ordered 3 extra and manger question me that i was lying with the amount i got. His other employee showed him he never placed them in there. Way to lose a customer over a 30 cent sauce

If ratings were based on the staffs kindness, 5⭐️ all the way. Unfortunately, that’s not how it works and location is consistently inconsistent. ALWAYS CHECK YOUR FOOD BEFORE LEAVING Tonight was a very simple order: (2) 9 piece wicked wings & a medium Pepsi Everything was correct on the receipt, but when I got home, had 6 wings in each box that bit like they marinated under warmers. While I do like the food, the service is TERRIBLE! The cashier at the drive-thru was nice but the person who took the order gets 2 thumbs down. We feel like we don't get treated nice when we come there. My son is autistic and likes the chicken and that is the only reason we've returned but I think I'm officially done with this location! Been here 3 times and the same crap every single time. My last visit made me say I need to write a review. Also, how is it because you buy a "special" you're not allowed to get dipping sauce???!!!! I never heard of anything like that but that's what we were told in the drive thru by the female who took the order! Couldn't believe it. Throw all the staff away except that cashier and hire a new staff because this is a bad reflection on this franchise location.

By far the worst Golden Chick I’ve had. I’m a truck driver, So I have stopped at plenty of Golden Chicks around Texas, Stopped in San Antonio on this past Tuesday to visit my daughter and went here for lunch, Everything I ordered for me and her was not only cold , But disgusting. My daughter said they never been there in four years living around the corner now I see why. I don’t know why restaurants feel the need to have things already ready instead of making stuff fresh. French fries and fried okra should not be sitting there for hours.
