🌟 5-Star Review for Paisano’s 🌟 I had an amazing experience at Paisano’s today! Our server, Gabby, was absolutely wonderful — attentive, friendly, and made us feel taken care of from start to finish. The food came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every dish was flavorful and delicious. I highly recommend Paisano’s for great service and a truly enjoyable meal. Will definitely be coming back!

Introduced my out-of-state friend to butter garlic shrimp Paesanos dinner last night & he now understands my love for this restaurant. Kudos to the crew & the “call ahead” system used vs making an actual reservation. We were seated immediately at 7pm on a Saturday night as the restaurant was near capacity. We enjoyed butter garlic shrimp paesanos and lemon butter caper sauce chicken, both with a side of steaming hot pasta. Excellent experience overall! Definitely returning soon! (P.s., there are three of these restaurants in San Antonio, but Lincoln Heights Location is by far my favorite🩵)

The food is tasty. I recommend the chicken fettuccine alfredo. Also good drinks like espresso martini. Usually not a wait. Nice spot for birthdays and other events. We had our wedding shower here, and it went really well. This is the place where I proposed to my wife and it went really well!

From the moment we were seated, it was evident that this dining experience would stand apart — largely thanks to the exceptional service and expertise of our server, George. His attentiveness, hospitality, and deep understanding of both the menu and wine program elevated the evening from enjoyable to unforgettable. My husband opted for the steak and shrimp special, upon George’s recommendation, paired with a glass of Daou Reserve — one of the restaurant’s newer additions by the glass. The pairing was nothing short of inspired. The wine’s rich body and elegant structure complemented the dish’s savory depth perfectly, creating a harmony of flavors that truly impressed. I chose the Chilean sea bass, also suggested by George, paired with the Bezel Chardonnay. The wine’s balanced acidity and subtle oak notes beautifully enhanced the delicacy of the fish, highlighting the kitchen’s skill in preparation and George’s remarkable sense for pairing. While the food and wine alone would warrant high praise, it was the service that truly distinguished the experience. George’s professionalism, charm, and refined palate transformed what might have been a standard evening into one that rivaled fine dining establishments of much higher renown. Having previously been uncertain about the restaurant’s direction, I’m thrilled to say this visit restored my confidence entirely. If the team continues to deliver this caliber of hospitality and culinary precision, the restaurant’s potential is limitless.

This was a private party for over 75 people. The food was excellent, delivered in a timely manner and service for drinks was top notch too. The waiters were very good and accommodating. I was pleasantly surprised given the number of people. We were given 3 entrees choices, Caesar salad and choice of 2 desserts. I had lasagna. Very tasty and a large portion!

Five stars. Ordered the Caesar salad and asked for anchovies, real Italian restaurants always have them. My main course was Porco Osso Buco. Juicy bone in pork shank slow cooked melt on the tongue swimming in a rich gravy. It came with a side of pasta and a choice os sauce. I chose the meat flavored marinara “sugo”. Topped it all off with Mexican Coke. Mexican Coke uses cane sugar . Service was high end, the waiter topped off my drink as I emptied it. Make it a priority to stop here .

This is my first time at this restaurant, and I can say that I truly enjoyed my food. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with seafood, calamari, meatballs, and a Mojito. I was really impressed by how much seafood was placed in my pasta. Thank you so much :-) The atmosphere of the place is really laid-back, but I will say that if the restaurant is packed, it can get a little loud. The awesome part is they have a private room that comes with a projector microphone and is very spacious so I really like that. Overall, everybody was kind. And the service wasn’t bad, but it did take a while for my food to come out and the server kept forgetting my water and other things it could be because of a large group? Either way, great quality food so I will be returning.

I was nervous at first, but the staff at Paesanos Lincoln Heights made me feel right at home. The service was attentive and friendly, and our server took the time to explain the menu in really good detail. I loved how quickly our drinks were never empty he was on top of it and how the server checked in without being intrusive. The atmosphere was relaxed and perfect for a family dinner, and the food lived up to my expectations for authentic Italian dishes. I’ll definitely be back for another great Italian dining experience. Started of with a variety of bread, and the bread was good, but the oil they served with it had no seasoning or flavor. House salad was okay, dressing was bland and again no seasoning. Chicken parmigiana and spaghetti were good, but sauce was just okay. Service was very good, and good atmosphere.

Been coming to this location for a while and the service is always fantastic. I was in a family group this visit and our server rocked it! The food is always hot and delicious. I highly recommend the bacon asparagus soup. The portion size alone is a meal itself. Lasagna is thick and flavorful. The only downside is the atmosphere, music is generally loud so people are talking louder.

2/1/26 2:30pm We walked in and no one greeted us. We waited approximately 3 minutes before a young lady acknowledged us, but was carrying food outside. A male waiter/server finally greeted us, apologized for the wait and seated us. The restaurant was not busy. The interior was very dark. Food portions were very generous, but the flavor was average. The cucumbers in the salad were not quite ripe. The raspberries in the margarita had the same issue. My hubby said the Budweiser did not taste fresh (our waitress did open and pour it in front of us). We don't frequent these types of restaurants often, but I know what to expect when we do. With the reputation of Paesano's, I expected a flawless experience.

The service and the environment was awesome, very nice place and fine dining experience. However, the menu is way to old school, since they dont mention what is vegetarian or vegan, making my experience a little awkward asking the waitress how they made their food. Is not to be annoying, it is just to make sure I dont end up eating animal corpses nor their secretions. At the end I ate spinach-garlic (sorry for the picture), and pasta with mushrooms, very very nice. However, they should have vegan cheese or more options, it is a long menu and I end up modifying something to accomodate me. This type of places should start switching to a more healthy, cruelty-free plant based meals... and reducing or even avoiding serving animals.

After a lifetime of eating here I was greatly disappointed in our meal today. We had the shrimp Paesano signature dinner. The shrimp was doughy and heavily battered not lightly battered and crisp as usual, however the signature sauce was good. Most of the flavor was only due to the sauce. Unfortunately the house Italian salad dressing was bland and flavorless, so we asked for more and it was basically lots of mayo with a tiny splash of vinegar and no noticeable spice. There were splashes of food on the wall beside us. You go to a nice restaurant to relax but we felt rushed after barely taking our last bite the bill was presented immediately as if to move us out to make space for another. It was not a relaxing Italian experience of savoring a meal. This was an expensive meal for the service and quality of the food. We had bought a gift card for a friend prior to ordering the meal and I am apprehensive about what they will experience on their visit.

My wife and I have been to this location a few times since we live in the area but today we took our kids with us and the service today was poor. I was surprised since their service prior was never an issue. When we first arrived the waitress was prompt but for some reason our table got passed off to the bartender who was dressed in a black hooded sweater like the Unabomber. He was courteous but not attentive. Plus our table was closer to the kitchen. Our food took a while to receive but my kids pizza came out promptly. If the restaurant was busy I would understand but only 5 tables were occupied. We arrived between 2-3pm thinking we would beat the rush but today that didn’t matter. I hope their service improves and their leadership takes their job a little more seriously. They seemed to be at a table in the corner by the bar drinking tea and sitting down talking to each other. Finally, I want you to know I’ve never written a review about a restaurant because people’s livelihood are at stake when a bad review is written but today it seemed absolutely necessary. Hopefully, if we ever go back our experience will be different.

We have been coming here for years the food is great and delicious atmosphere is amazing people are friendly the only complaint is the bread I just have to be honest it's not appealing at all hard as a rock 🪨 and always ask for your dressing on the side if you get a salad because they will soak it with dressing and it looks drowned out. Shrimp paisano loved it and calamari was delicious 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤😋😋😋😋😋
