This was one of the best experiences we have had in a restaurant in a very long time. Our server was absolutely amazing and the food was fantastic. We will definitely be visiting again soon! Thank you for hiring staff that knows exactly what they are doing in busy situations. Keep up the great work!!!
If you go, ask for Sabrina. We just moved to the area and had been looking for a great, family friendly place to eat. We found it here! It’s been our after school go to spot. Pizza is on point, love the meatballs and wings. Sabrina made us feel so welcome and always remembers us. 10/10
I've dined at ACFP MANY times and I'm the last few years was thankful when they added their GF crust option bc it's one of few pizza crust that I can eat now. While it's a thin crust like most GF pizza crusts, it's a little sweeter and the coal-fired oven gives it a great flavor. Sometimes I have to request it to be well done, but that's just GF Friday being finicky. My go-to toppings are to add ricotta, pepperoni, and basil.
Been wanting to come here for years. Finally made time to stop by. Only suggestion I would make is service. The pizza takes awhile which is understandable however the check was brought to the table while we were still eating. Would have ordered more drinks and dessert if offered. But that was okay Dairy Queen is right next door. Did appreciate getting a Wednesday special discount even though I thought the pricing was fair to begin with.
Coal Fired! Our first visit to Anthony’s was on our son’s birthday. He made the request to try it out. We were not disappointed! We ordered a Caprese’ Pixza and a Cheese Pizza. Since the pizzas are cooked in such a hot oven, there is a little char on the bottom, but isn’t that what gives things a new and different taste?! The Caprese’ was my absolute fave! Fresh ingredients adds to the yum! The atmosphere had a fun vibe! Seems to attract a regular, trendy crowd. A nice time for our first visit!
Plenty of level parking. Decent size bar, indoor and outdoor seating area. They cook the pizza at 1000 degrees, and it's a thin crust. There is a little charing on the pizza because of that, but it only adds to the flavor. The ingredients are all fresh and done to perfection. The garlic knots are worth getting and don't miss trying the meatballs. They melt in your mouth. It was my first time here, and without question I would go back again.
Great tasting pizza!! I'm not a crust person but I enjoyed the crust from this pizza. The pepperoni was tasty and you can actually taste the sausage!! Unlike other places where it's almost completely flavorless. The sauce was great and had a little zing to it. I'm not a tomato fan and there was blobs of tomato chunks. Mine wasn't that big and I ate it, but my sister who does like tomatoes actually scraped a very large chunk off her slice. The staff was very friendly and kudos to my waitress with the colorful hair who had to put up with my hijinks and made me delicious cherry Cokes. Definitely recommend coming here.
Love the new menu items!!! The Burrata Salad was my favorite!!! And the espresso martini was amazing as always!! Yum 😋
This was only my 2nd time here, but I love the pizza! My sister can't have anything tomato related, so we got this White pizza, with spinach and mushrooms, the other night. 😋 Yummy! It COULD have had more toppings qty. than what was put on, but was still very good.
Ordered a take out on two pizza one was perfect and the other one was almost perfect if it wasn’t for one thing. I ordered the second pizza and asked them to put garlic on it and I’m a huge garlic fan but some were 1/3 1/4 the size of a clove it was a bit much, please let the cook have access to a garlic press if they don’t already.
I wanted to try a new place that had Gluten free pizza and I was not disappointed. The crust was thin and crunchy just like I like it. The toppings were just as delicious. I liked that the mushrooms and the onions were sautéed as thats my favorite way to have them on my pizza. We also got the Garlic Romano wings and the sauce was really good but I prefer a little less sauce on my wings when I have them. The ceasar salad was huge and the dressing was just as good as everything else. The only thing I wasn't really a huge fan off was the sweet tomato pieces on top. I dont really like sweet pizza I like savory. The server was super friendly and attentive and the food came out really quickly. There was plenty of seating and the bar area was really nice. I will definitely be back to try other wings and get the Gluten free pizza again.
Their claim to fame is a very hot oven that makes the pizza well done. I was disappointed. The crust was thin and therefore it burned. The sauce was bland. Topping choices were limited. Prices were high. Wait times were long. It took more than 45 minutes for mine to arrive?? Not worth it with so many better delivery places nearby.
Me and my friend were the only 2 at the bar and we ordered literally 2 of the same drinks, same meals. And an app. Our app never came, i kindly told the bartender. She says “you’re right.” And laughs. ?? And says she never put it in. I was like oh ok ? Mind you this is 2 hours later and she never asked us if we wanted a second drink and she never checked on us after we initially gave her our orders. Someone else at the bar ended up saying how we all need drinks ?? But she was not friendly, honestly it felt very awkward and we literally left?? Girl with dreads ??
I placed an online order for a pizza pickup, and a few minutes later the restaurant called to say their oven was under maintenance and they wouldn’t be able to make pizza for at least an hour. I chose to cancel the order as they suggested. Unfortunately, the refund was never issued to my credit card. I eventually had to file a dispute with my bank to get my money back. This was a disappointing and unacceptable experience.
Worst overpriced pizza I’ve and sandwiches I’ve ever had. Firstly, to add any topping to your pizza it’s 5$ I added 20$ worth of toppings to my pizza which is absolutely ridiculous alone, to only get literally 5 slice of uncooked onion, no extra basil, and no garlic on my pizza at all. The only thing they got right was adding the sauce to my caprese pizza, but the crust was so thin that half my pizza was stuck to the parchment. I also got the prosciutto, arugula, burratta sandwich and there was not even a whole entire slice of prosciutto on the damn thing. 15$ for a wad of dough and hot arugula. The burratta wasn’t even salted or peppered and at a place like this I expect that, and my burratta didn’t even have any straciatella filling inside anymore. Guess they lost it ripping it in half for my sandwich. My garlic knots didn’t come with marinara, and 3 of them were extremely tiny. You can tell this place is just cheap, not paying employees enough, and putting out crap burnt pizza with way too thin of crust. I make a better homemade pizza on my pizza stone at home. Only went here because we had a gift card, won’t be coming back despite having 50$ left on said gift card. Save your money and just make a pizza at home.
The customer service is so terrible I will never come back to this location. One waitress working the entire restaurant is wrong, but she did not check on us once and nowhere to be found half the time, put in our order wrong (so we waited over 45 mins for a small pizza) and never brought out any sides requested.
We stopped for lunch and had a really odd, uncomfortable experience. The staff were busy gossiping, so service was extremely slow, despite there being very few other customers. There was lots of swearing going on, loud enough that we could hear two tables away from the kitchen, and the table next to us had two young children. We also overheard the waitresses making fun of guests seated at another table. Typical restaurant staff behavior, I guess? But when your restaurant has an open air kitchen, this does not seem like an appropriate setting for these conversations… To top it off, the food was not even good.
The service was absolutely horrendous. We came out to eat to have a relaxing experience and it ended as a a hostile terrible experience. It started with getting a drink at happy hour at the bar because they had no tables available. The hostess first said that happy hour was over when it was 5:45 and ended at 6. Then the bartender didn’t take our order until 5:58 while having a terrible attitude. She finally served us and as soon as our food came the table was ready. She started yelling at the host and in general about how it wasn’t fair that the server wouldn’t get the drinks on their tab and it was across the bar everyone was staring and felt uncomfortable. My husband went to be sat with my son while I paid our bill. Whoever went to sat us left and my husband and son had no idea where to sit and had no menus. I went to speak to the manager and his response was simply she’s busy. I have been a server just because you’re busy doesn’t mean you have to be rude or unprofessional. It continued at our table. It took forever for our server to come over. When she did I mentioned I had a complimentary pizza and wanted to use that for a gluten free pizza which is the same size and offered to pay more. She said she would look into it. She came back 15 minutes later saying it couldn’t be applied to gluten free at all. So we ended up paying $30 for a gluten free pizza. This server was a bit better up until she brought the pizzas and threw them down and said the pizza was already made with such an attitude. This was a terrible experience I would not recommend unless you want to leave with the feeling like you’re burdening people by coming in.
Somebody should put this place out of their misery. Came in the other night around 8pm and the staff were visibly annoyed despite being open until 9pm. The floors were greasy and you could visibly see things you shouldn’t. Disorganization. Also, there seemingly was no background noise - it was too quiet and you could tell everyone was operating a bit cautiously due to the ability to hear everything. Staff didn’t approach us after several minutes (despite being one of the few tables), so we left. Total dump. Avoid at all costs. Staff - you should be ashamed. Ps - have been to the Anthony’s in Robinson a few times back in the day and thought they had a great atmosphere and the best wings!
