The kids and us love Red Robin in South Hills Village. We always ask for OJ to be our waiter! He’s the best! The kitchen can sometimes be slow on refills of fries etc, but overall for the value it is a good eat out spot. I just had their month special pulled pork burger with whiskey river BBQ sauce….it was very filling and yummy!!!!!

No idea why there are bad reviews because my experience was good. Ordered the California chicken sandwich and garlic fries. Marquise, who took my order recommended me their house made ranch which I got as a dip. I chose their new queso in my sandwich. Everything was good and fresh. Service was perfect. I was asked 2-3 times if everything was ok or if I needed anything else.

I was happy w the burger but I got about 7 chips doing a take out dinner. Very very disappointed they were so light with the side. It's my favorite part of the meal. So pls cooks there give more sides. Too too disappointed so less after before

Yumm… This Red Robin is my favorite when it comes to service and food. We live closer to the Washington location, but I will drive further for good service. They are always on top of everything. I absolutely love the Bleu Ribbon Burger and of course, unlimited fries. The dipping sauces are all amazing! Our server refilled our drinks as soon as they began to get low and asked if we would like more fries. Management must really know that they are doing here. The only thing odd about this trendy restaurant are the restrooms. They look like they are in need of an update. The sinks are a strange avocado color. Something about them just doesn’t seem clean, but I’m sure they are. Will definitely return to this location! Good for kids with kids menus, high chairs and changing stations. I am giving a 3 star because we didn't stay to eat at this location and red robin is usually pretty good. I would like to comment on a few things that I experienced when attempting to enjoy a tavern double and delicious bottomless fries... I came in at 1:55 pm on a Friday and was greeted by the host. The greeting was rushed and unpleasant. I was asked about how many were dining in my party and if I needed a high chair or booster since I had a smaller child with me. Well that is a difficult question and depends on what type of seating is available so I inquired if a booth would be available. The answer I was given was nothing would be available for 20 or 30 minutes. I put my name on the list against my better judgements and someone from my party visited the restroom while we were waiting and described the restaurant as dirty, the bathroom, entire floor, dining room, tables everything was dirty. They said there were atleast 10 tables left unbussed when they walked through the restaurant. I can overlook the attitude of the host, but I can't overlook the cleanliness of the restaurant and had to leave. There is a Bj's in the parking lot and the whole food court one door away. I don't know if I will be back to this location again.

Im well aware of knowing what your paying for and having that expectation before walking into a place. We probably go here 4 to 5 times a year. So I knlw what we're in for but after this last visit it was pretty disappointing. Prices are consistent, and spending over $150 for 6 of us isn't awful but this time the food was off. The burger had no seasoning or flavor. Typically I enjoy my burger but this time it was just meh. Fries had no salt on them at all. The apps were fine but no better than eatn park right down the street. The issue that really sent it over the edge for us was the service. We ordered pretty quick and all at once but drinks were not delivered with out multiple reminders. The server seemed sick or just really out of it. So much so that a manager should have stepped in and prohibited that team members from serving that evening. I mean this individual was either so tired, sick or intoxicated that they could hardly finish a sentence. It was a huge disappointment to get this level of service when we could have just gone somewhere else. Theres so many options, and I dont expect folks to be on their A game but this person really did not have it together at all. Multiple items, sides, dressings, drinks we had to ask for several times. Also when asking questions and having the general required conversation that a guest has with wait staff the server was unable to mentally process what we were saying or asking. Over all hope that server is okay and getting whatever assistance they need. And we will try it out again in a few months but hopefully it doesn't happen again and hopefully management is involved enough to spot the characteristics of what we saw first hand.

March 2023 update We were near the mall when the lunchtime munchies called and we decided that a burger would be just the thing. It’s been a while since we’ve stopped at a Red Robin, so we swung in to try it out. Being mid-week, we were not too surprised that the place was relatively empty The hostess had the personality of a brick. No. A brick had more. She looked at us with a stony glare: “how many?” When we said “two”, she grabbed two menus turned around and walked away without another word. Luckily we knew the routine so we followed her. She plunked down the menus and walked away without saying another word. The waitress was fine. We ordered the Tycoon Burger and the Scorpion Gourmet Burger. Both were disappointing. The Tycoon speaks of mushrooms and truffle aioli. We saw two thin slices of what looked like mushrooms and if the aioli saw a truffle it must have been at a distance. The Scorpion burger promised some heat with its description. I think they had some watered down Red Hot on its mixed in with the Mayonnaise as it was definitely less spicy than what the fast food restaurants call spicy. It was also exceedingly messy to as stuff slopped out in all directions. For one of our “endless sides” we upgraded to the cole slaw. For the $1.79 charge you get three tablespoons of slaw. Good thing it was on the endless menu as we definitely did ask for refills! As you can tell, this was a disappointing visit. ================================= June 2021 Update: Stopped in for lunch as we were running all kinds of errands in the neighborhood. A lot of staff was hanging around and the place was not too busy - which was kind of surprising given that the mall location this is in was packed. Ordered the Avo-Cobbo Salad and their special Bacon Jam Burger. The salad was actually quite nice, but we did have to hunt around until we found the quarter of avocado (Note that I took the picture AFTER we found it and re-arranged the goodies). The burger was tasty - I could have used a smaller patty, and bacon that was not so limp - you can see it in the picture... But it was definitely tasty. Oh yes, they still have their endless fries ... and they do not salt them when they show up at your table. So, a three star place, remains a three star place. The waitress we had came with a better attitude, but the two runners who brought us the drinks and food could have been replaced by robots... 2017 - All kinds of burgers, sandwiches, and other stuff. It's a popular location which leads to delays and an attitude of not caring much on the part of the staff. For instance, we were initially given a completely rusted fork. Then, when we asked for a knife, we were given a plastic one????

Waiting 20 plus minutes for tenders n fries to be cooked for a togo order is crazy. The host are horrible both very heavy set and rude. I definitely won't be coming back to this location again

Hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant ever. Went here on January 3rd in the evening for dinner with my 2 kids and my husband. Started off with the waitress high as hell rushing us to order drinks. Out of the 4 of us I’m the only one to order a drink with alcohol in it which is served to me with just fruit flavoring and no alcohol. I tried to explain to the waitress that there is nothing but fruit flavoring in it and she grabs the cup walks off to come back and say TASTE IT as she slams the cup on the table. My son gets a root beer float which ends up being a DIY. Served a cup of rootbeer thrown a spoon then another waitress brings a cup of ice cream and he’s told to put it in the cup himself, not once but twice as he asked for a second one. The appetizer platter was served with beer cheese that looked like play-dough the fried pickles were soggy not fried, and the pub pretzels were like rocks. The burger buns were soggy as well upon being served. I’m not sure how no one in this establishment could see how under the influence this woman was and still continue to let her work. We’ve eaten at this location numerous times as we live close and it’s always been a family favorite but we will never return after last night. 2 separate managers approached the table to ask us how our meal was and we told them our issues flat out. They ended up taking $26 off of our total bill even when we explained we don’t want anything free we just can’t believe this was our experience. The whole experience felt like a fever dream. For the price of this dinner we would have been better off venturing out to the West Mifflin Texas Roadhouse.

If you are into voyeurism, and like to eat shoe leather, this is the place for you. Otherwise go elsewhere. Fish was sent back twice. I was told the oil was bad. Bottomless sides were never offered to be refilled. Server acted like we were an inconvenience when we had to flag her down for water refills or when we asked for the ranch we ordered that didn't get brought to the table. The women's restroom stalls have huge holes that allow you to see the person next to you (see photos taken through the hole) The two automatic paper towel dispensers did not work.

I understand it’s the holidays and there might be short staffing or distractions but the restaurant was not overly busy whatsoever. We were sitting down for 13 minutes, multiple servers walked by, even one girl with her printed check out report who made eye contact with us and kept walking. No greeting, no acknowledgement, nothing. By the looks of it we were sat in a closed section and no one knew about us. But they definitely saw us. We got up and went next door to Condado.

My family and I went to Red Robin just for Milkshakes. 1 Strawberry and 2 Chocolate shakes. Total price without a tip was 21 dollars and some change. The Strawberry was very good. But the Chocolate ones were terrible. Made with chocolate syrup and had some bites of ice in them. They sat us by where the employees go in and out of the kitchen. They were goofing off talking loud and disrupting our dessert. I will never go back.

pretty terrible meal tonight and the bathrooms were gross Wife order the vodka peach freckled lemonade, got the vodka strawberry one. I ordered the vodka freckled lemonade and got the non alcoholic one. Her burgers cheese was not melted on it and WAY over done, and we had to pull the tomato off. It didn't look fresh. My burger was over cooked as well and for the cost the buns should be toasted. It all tastes bland, and the burgers tasted frozen and pathetic. For a 55 dollar night out, it was an absolute waste of my money. Only reason we didn't say anything was because our waitress was already getting yelled at by another patron. I've seen cleaner bathrooms at truck stops. Floors were sticky, mold around the sinks, and food stains on the curtains. We do not plan on coming back any time in the near future.
