Such a cool space. Comfortable with little nooks you can sit in with a date or group of friends. Great cocktails at a reasonable price, considering time and ingredients. Great art and design throughout. Plus the back room usually has some whimsical entertainment.

Came in on a very slow July 3rd night and sat by the windows drinking beer with my wife. We loved it! The bartender was super nice, we wanted to be friends with her. The big windows are great if there's a breeze on a warm night. Drinks were great, loved the vibe, will be back when we're in the neighborhood.

I hosted my boyfriend's 30th birthday party at Crystal Lake, and could not have been happier with this venue. Right from the beginning, I was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable pricing for a private party in Williamsburg. The back room of the bar where the party was is large and roomy, which is a rare find for bars/restaurants in NYC. The drink menu offers unique and interesting cocktails beyond the standard bar options, which really elevated the party and made our guests happy. Rebecca & the other staff members there that night were very helpful with party setup, and I appreciated that they didn't kick us out immediately at 11PM when our allotted time ended. They also provided wristbands so they could tell who was with the party and who wasn't, and ensured that our party guests were served quickly at the bar. I also worked with Mike & Jacqui, the in-house caterers (their business is called BiTcHn KiTcHn), and had an excellent experience with them - the food was delicious, and the service was great. If you're looking for a spacious, fun, and cool party venue your guests will love that won't break the bank, definitely check out Crystal Lake - I'd host another event here in a heartbeat.

Love this place! Started coming for their Survivor viewing parties last year, but come back more often since the staff is so wonderful. They have lots of great events in the back room. Good snacks, great drinks.

Great neighborhood bar. Delicious drinks. I had heart of darkness cocktail, loved it. If you like sour and spicy this is it. Old fashioned was little too sweet. Anyway, great place!

We rented the back room of Crystal Lake for our Sunday farewell brunch after our wedding. It was perfect! Excellent amount of space, full bar for those who wanted it, chill environment. They were flexible with our needs and easy to work with. Reasonable rates for a large private room!

I wasn’t planning to come here. I didn’t know about this place. I have to give them 5 stars, the atmosphere has an ambiance where the bar n the kitchen has an addictive welcome. You can spend it with friends or be by yourself and never feel alone. Now nice twist is the kitchen, called “bitchn kitchen”, to die for, chicken wings are amazing, a tender crispy delight evenly tasty with every bite sweet n spicy to perfection. Queso frito, wow, my mom would be estático delicious salty tasty cheese bites dipped in a guava sauce that compliments every bite. Plain fries better than McDonald’s but as addictive. You can’t wrong here. Good atmosphere. The picture its your typical I eat first n remember later to take a picture. If you meet the couple behind the Bitchn kitchen, you’ll understand their flare to bring up simple dishes n the dishes taste good n satisfy the soul

Was visiting from out of town and came for the Survivor watch party. The back of the bar was packed and I barely got a seat, even showing up 40 minutes early. This was a good thing though, because the energy and vibes were off the chart. Chatted up a few strangers and they were very fun and friendly to this solo traveler. Tap selection I found to be mediocre as well as the service. Food was sufficient--seeing as I was starving.

I came here on a Monday evening to support a friend in a comedy night. The place stretched to the back to a larger opening where the show was located. Each comedian had a 5-minute set, and it was enjoyable. I would remark that the bartender was not thrilled to be working—don’t know if was a comedic bit or not. Either way, for the few amounts of people present, this individual’s service was unapproachable and slow. Also, food was a bit overpriced for my liking, so I didn’t buy. Nevertheless, the vibe of the location was chill and tranquil. I would recommend a visit if you have loads of time to wait.

Staff is nice, the aesthetic of the bar is horror which I thought was fire but then they pump old school boom bap music which was disappointing. It doesn't go. Either they have to make the aesthetic 90s hip hop themed or change the music

They don't honor happy hour on Wednesdays -- you can see others have left this reveiw. Please be aware, even if they have signage up and you ask about the happy hour specials, they might not have it. Very misleading and bar staff was rude and defensive when it was pointed out that they really shouldn't have a sign up noting the happy hour if they aren't going to honor it. Definitely won't be returning.

They do NOT have happy hour as advertised even if you arrive at 6pm. Also the wings are bland and under seasoned. Do NOT order the buffalo wings there is no sauce on them. Also you have ask for ranch so just be warned - ask for ranch. Survivor party is great and the only reason we went but we will not be back because they do not give happy hour prices to Survivor attendees but do not tell you that
