This was my first time trying fateer but I’m sold. We got the mixed (beef, sausage, and pastrami) and it was awesome - light and crispy on the outside with lots of meat and cheese. Also had the hawashy. The two together was a lot but it was definitely also really good - with savory meat and a bit more bread. In terms of atmosphere, think pizza slice shop with a few more tables but they definitely deliver on some great food at a very reasonable price.

They cook with skill rather than flashy techniques. The team demonstrated tremendous warmth and eagerly addressed every inquiry. Whatever happens elsewhere, their meals are consistently good. The restaurant delivers on flavor, reasonable pricing and helpful employees. I liked the atmosphere; I'll visit again :)

A comfy lounge for midnight (and daytime) munchies, and perhaps the only place in NYC to get authentic, fresh made feteer! My friends and I love coming here for hookah, fresh cheesy feteer pies stuffed with veggies, meat and cheese. Their pizzas are also great! The staff is so friendly and accommodating, they have a back lounge for backgammon and hookah and it’s always so amazing to watch them make each order! The atmosphere is laidback with traditional Arab music playing, great for parties! Highly recommend stopping through with friends for a great outing!

Chicken feteer was DELICIOUS! Perfect combination between crispy outside & cheesy inside. I asked for the feteer without green peppers. I ate alone & finished 7 pieces! This was our first time trying Fateer and we thought it was delicious. I was expecting it to be like a pizza or quesadilla, but it was so unique with the flaky crust, almost crepe-like. We got the Fateer with a mix of fillings that had the perfect balance of meats & veggies. Topped with the spicy and white sauce really elevated it. We also got the macaroni bechamel which was perfectly broiled on the top and not too salty. Flavor was good and portion was just right. Highly recommend!

Food were delicious and serving portion were good for 3 people. $25 for Feteer. $10 for Bechamel. I used to have Feteer almost every single day when I was in Dubai, and I’ve been craving that same taste ever since. I never knew I could find such authentic feteer here in New York! The taste was amazing, exactly the same as I remembered: crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside. I also ordered Um Ali, which used to be my go-to snack back in Dubai. This is the best and most authentic Egyptian feteer spot around the area, 10/10 food, 10/10 service, and 10/10 atmosphere, also the bathroom is very clean! 🫧 The Umm Ali and Custard Feteer were a little too sweet for my taste but tolerable. Highly recommend the Mixed Meat Feteer and Hawawshy, as well as the Chicken Feteer. And for dessert you can't go wrong with the Nutella Feteer or Umm Ali. Overall a 10/10 spot, these guys seem to really love what they do, and I must respect that. Will definitely be visiting again when I'm in NY. Would very highly recommend visiting them if you're in the area.

This last time we had feeter was 3 years ago in Cairo. If you want to try Egyptian pizza this restaurant does it really well. Our family visited today. The pastrami feeter was outstanding. Great flavor and not greasy. The Om Ali (bread pudding )was baked for us and was a perfect dessert. We ordered two mixed feeter to take out. When we got home, our other daughter had two slices and thoroughly enjoyed it. The feteer comes with a choice of a mild white sauce which was delicious. The other was a spicy red which we didn't try.The atmosphere was phenomenal. Several families with small children enjoying their food. The star of the show was the feeter maker when we arrived he was dancing to an Egyptian tune while twirling the feeter. He put on a great show. The service was very good. The lady who brought our food was both friendly and efficient. Overall, a really nice meal at this restaurant.

Oh the nostalgia, to have such a delicacy like this and made fresh out the oven once you’ve placed your order, is beyond a rarity. As an Egyptian I can’t tell you just how authentic tasting this is and its pricing is absolutely perfect. In Egypt most places prior to pizza fully becoming as well known as it is today, was made of this same concept (feteer) instead of the dough. Many still do today. I mention that because you can truly enjoy feteer as a sweet or a meal with meat in it and enjoy just the same. The service here is as you’d like it to be, attentive and smiling throughout. These aren’t made earlier in the day and preheated after so if you plan to grab one or two or more be prepared to wait 5-15 mins as it is literally being made on the spot.

Came by on a Tuesday night and tried the Mixed Feteer (halal sausage, pastrami, beef, plus vegetables). It was freshly made and the filling of meats and vegetables was generous. They serve ketchup, hot sauce, and white sauce as condiments alongside with it. Imagine a crispy and flaky crust (almost as thin as a crepe or a roti), freshly baked with a good amount of pizza filling inside. The filling was slightly under-seasoned, but it was still very good. I would definitely order it again. The size/portion of the pie is good for at least 2 people. On a different note - I do wish the service was better. I walked in and greeted everyone and was in a good mood, but no one smiled or greeted me. The man who took my order had his arms folded and the way he spoke made it seem like I was annoying him somehow. It wasn't busy (9:45ish on a Tuesday night) and it made the visit uncomfortable. Maybe they were having a rough night. But a simple greeting with a smile would've made it a much better experience. Overall - the food was good, I enjoyed it, and I'll be visiting again.

Fun to try Egyptian pizza. The vegetarian feteer was way too cheesy and not that good. The olives helped add flavor and reduce the heavy cheese. The mixed feteer was good with lots of nice spices. Would not recommend the mac and cheese which was very plain.

Literally was walking down Steinway by the hookah lounges and saw this place to give it a try. The stores overall interior isn’t bad but the customer service was something else like a weird one. So I was with my friends and we walk in and we look at the menu then we see the woman waiter she’s like the one who made the whole experience weird. So like we ordered our foods and she automatically thinks we want to eat out right after we ordered and before the workers start cooking I tell the lady we want to sit and eat and she says no you can’t eat here you have to eat it outside at the front keep in mind there’s not even a single chair out and it’s freezing cold who takes hot food outside that’s freezing cold and the food within a minute will be cold. Anyways then she’s like but something else and you can eat it at a table so I spent another 7$ for French fries by the way if you want to spend 25$ or less you better have cash or she’s gonna be annoying about it saying I told you about our 25$ credit card minimum at-least you could make 10-15$ credit card minimum but no it has to be 25$ lol. Their service is just horrendous. Their food is definitely good but not sure if it's worth it anymore as the women who takes the orders is nasty, rude and just plain difficult.

Over priced. They use car oil and cheap butter/ poor ghee. They are very stingy with add ons. Never order Hawawshi from there because they don’t know how to make it.

Went in with kids on a cold winter night at 6 pm, kids grabbed the table which was available and waitress didn’t liked it and said there is a wait of 60 minutes and you can not even sit inside you have to wait outside (takeout is also 75 minutes wait), while the table was available. It was obvious that she didn’t wanted to welcome us, for whatever reason may be we are not Arab , I told her that this is not a good way of saying NO.

Such rude service. I arrived after 35 minutes of ordering pickup on doordash as the app said the order is likely to be ready based on the estimate the restaurant gave them. I asked about my order, the cashier very arrogantly said it wasn’t ready yet only to find out after my asking again after ten minutes of useless waiting that they hadn’t even started it yet. They only started at that point! She was very rude and unapologetic. I waited another 25 minutes. Even a lady who came after me ordered in store and got her order first.

When I asked if they can remove cheese from my order they said no (I can’t eat cheese). I asked them why when they were accommodating on my last order, the lady on the phone said “because I won’t”. And canceled my pick up. Still confused because it wasn’t my first time asking to remove an ingredient from their restaurant. Such a shame I brought many friends and family here.

We placed a to-go order and were told it would take 20 minutes. We returned after ~30 minutes only to be told we had not paid yet even though we already had. They checked told us the food still was not ready (I don't believe it was started), and insisted we pay. We didn't want to deal with waiting/pulling up credit card history so we left and had to charge back. It did not seem malicious but the service was very disorganized. I probably will not be back.

The service is unfriendly, overpriced, overrated,slow and poor. I ordered 2 fetter with 2 soda, and i paid 65 usd!! What! Yes! 65 $$. The restaurant was very noisy, I asked the girl to make the sound down! It takes more than 45 minutes to have our food! The service is poor and the quality of food is regular. Have a bad experience with this restaurant👎🏻

Do NOT come to this place. This is one of the most unfriendly experiences I’ve ever had. I paid for my dinner and even left a tip before I started eating. After that, when I went inside and sat down, one of the workers came to me and demanded extra money just because I was sitting inside. Instead of being polite or respectful especially since I had already tipped…he told me to either pay more or go back outside. I was already upset, but I had no choice because I had already paid for my food. So I had to wait outside in freezing weather (around -15 degrees). He eventually brought my food outside and literally stood there watching me eat in the cold. My fingers were frozen, and I couldn’t even finish my meal because of how cold it was. No mercy. No kindness. No respect. I would never come back to this place, and I strongly warn others not to go there either. What they did was inhumane and unacceptable.
