Excellent pizza, best in the area. I have been going to Lorobis for over 20 years and I have never had a bad pizza or I have never had my order messed up.

Wonderful pizza and not too expensive as some are suggesting. You sure get your monies worth. They don't take cards so have cash or check book ready.

Great pizza and friendly service. Crust on the thin side but not crispy, which is good as far as I am concerned. Nice and cheesy, well-seasoned. Something of a Sicilian style I think. They cut it in long strips instead of slices or squares. You can eat in, very informal, get your pie at the counter. Most probably order delivery or takeout.

This is a family owned pizza joint that I ate at in 1980 and it was already iconic then. Every time that I make it back to St.Albans ,I must eat here. I have even considered driving the 3 1/2 hours just to eat here. Love this place!!!

Been enjoying their pizza since the 70's. Awesome crust and cheese and their in house made sausage is outstanding. I live 30 minutes away, but happily drive past dozens of pizza shops to eat here. Cash or checks only. Highly recommended.

This is the best pizza in a 100 mile radius of here. I know people that have visited or returned here from all across the country. The pizza they always want is Lorobi's. If you have not had a pizza from here, I suggest you try one. So here are the drawbacks, 1 cash only, 2 no delivery, 3 always call your order in or expect to wait 20 to 60 minutes depending on when you go.

Great pizza great service . Took a lot longer the I was told over the telephone. I was told 35 mins and it took over 50 mins but no big deal because the wait is worth the pizza . When I got their I handed over my debit card but was told cash or check only so I hand over cash but thought to myself it’s 2021 not 2004 who even writes a check nowadays lol and what business even takes them considering the bounced checks people can write . I get credit card merchants charge fees to use cards but charge a fee or put the fee in the cost of the food . It’s better to offer the card service then nothing at all . I imagine the business lost or the Hassle customers have to go through to find the nearest ATM . It’s been years since I actually visited or eat here but the pizza was fantastic And the girl running the window was also very nice and the shaved sausage on the Big O is Fantastic. I would recommend to any cash customer but if your a debit card person I would try another place

This is really good pizza! The Big O is delicious! Super crisp crust, great toppings, sauce is on point...the only downside is they don't take debit or credit cards.

Love Lorobi's! This has been our go to pizza for 20 years! Their crust is perfect and Italian sausage is unique. It's cut like pepperoni. They cut their pizzas in strips not triangles. I do not mind the expense, it is pricey compared to the chains, but worth it to me to support this local gem!

I've always enjoyed the pizza from here, especially the Big "O"! There's always plenty of toppings and the taste is consistently awesome! Last week I had a craving for one and didn't realize that this was a cash and carry location because someone from work usually picks up when I eat it or I've gotten it from the Southridge Driving Range location where there's a card reader. I hardly ever have cash on me, so I was so surprised when the cashier verified that I was a local worker and just had me promise to come back the next day, (which I did), and because of the trust and service shown, I felt obligated to write this review because you just don't see this kind of faith and trust in the world these days. I felt like I took a step back in time because of the character that was displayed. When I returned to pay my tab, the cashier who was so nice to me had the night off, so I asked to have them make sure she got the tip I left and my company ordered dinner from them again the very next day. I'm going to continue to go back to this location again and again! Don't sleep on this local gem! The food and the customer service are fantastic!

The best pizza around. I love the fact that they don't skimp on toppings. On pizzas at all other locations you strain your eyes to see your toppings. Here you can see a few handfuls of each topping spread on their pizzas. They may be a little higher than other places, but you're getting the toppings you pay for and that makes it worth the price. My son loves his mushrooms, when he was around 6 years old I brought a pizza home with several toppings and his fav mushrooms. One look and his eyes were large and filled with surprise and you could tell his mouth was watering to taste his pizza. I purchased a large pizza and Cameron ate over half of the pizza. If you haven't tried this pizza you really should, if you want a great pizza and truly enjoy the toppings you pay for. You won't be disappointed!!!

Awe went to Campbell’s Creek for a Lorobi pizza. (We w had our mind set on it) Met the owner and oh how nice and so clean it was. They weren’t open today and he mentioned Saint Albans Lorobis. Really hated to drive here BUT wanted Lorobis pizza so here we are. Great decision. Love Lorobis

My father and I have gone since before I can remember. The pizza is great. It has definitely set a high bar for all the other pizzas going forward. It’s definitely the first stop when I come to town. I haven’t found a place since I’ve moved that tops their pizza. It’s awesome, just remember to bring cash.

OMG! We love the pizza here! I'm an ol' New Jersey fella and I know great pizza. We ordered a large pie with extra cheese and half with their unique sausage. The slices are cut longways (see photos below). It's evident that they use all quality ingredients and the cheese is theeee best! The pizza sauce is not overspiced and just right. Even the crust has a nice yeasty flavor. Ì like that they leave a very even 1/2 inch crust all around the pie. Service is friendly and there's plenty of parking. You'll find tables if you want to eat there. If you've been searching for a really great pizza, then you have to try Larobi's!!

This place has been around for so many years. I remember eating this as a child and I hadn't had it for a few years and went back and it was just as delicious as it always was. They cut their pizza into strips rather than triangles and the toppings are never scarce. Definitely worth the money. If you haven't ate their pizza you should totally check it out

It's the early morning of July 5th. Me and my two kids went to pick up the large half cheese half pepperoni pizza we ordered. The owner was there and a lady working. My daughter went to go use the restroom and the owner and I struck up a conversation while the pizza was cooking. When my daughter came out she started looking at the ice cream they had and he asked her what kind she wanted- she told him mint chocolate chip- then he gave her a waffle cone with the ice cream. Then my son came in. He asked him what kind of ice cream he wanted- he got cookies and cream. We continue to talk while the pizza cooked and my daughter took his puppy for a walk outside. When the pizza was done, they gave it to us for free! That was the sweetest experience I've ever had and we are very appreciative for it! 🩷 The thing that I loved the most is he told me to take this blessing and to pass it forward- which I absolutely will do. I don't know the owner or the workers' names, but I just want to tell you all that you really touched my heart. You all are the best! Thank you so much my children and I really appreciated both of you 🩷

My first Pizza at lorobi's was in the early 1960's I even had one when I graduated from high school in 1966. I moved away but since then when I come home to visit I always have a Larobii's pizza. My last one was 3 years ago. BEST PIZZA IN THE WORLD 3RD S and i know because i have eaten pizza all over the world The service has always been great and I would highly recommend to anyone close by or passing through St. Albans to have a Larobi's pizza

Such an underrated Pizza place. Our family has been a customer for many, many years. Recently the ownership has changed (better hours and new menu items! ) However the Pizza has not!! It’s delicious and worth the wait.. which typically takes @ 30 mins. Remember this if you are planning on dinner in. The Big O comes with everything. But my favorite is Pepperoni & Sausage (which is thinly sliced) and tastes like non other around.

I haven't had a pizza that deserved the word *GLORIOUS* in about 20 years! Not only was the pizza slappin... they're open 24hrs! whaaat! They do take cards now, too! Just lemme tell ya.... when my boyfriend plopped into the passenger's seat with that pretty pizza box, the smell alone made my mouth water and eyes cross with excitement. I wasted absolutely NO time grabbing me a slice of that good good out of the box as I let go of all the nasty, hungry girl attitude vibes. As I drove away, dancing behind the wheel (FYI- if a girl is boppin around while she's eating, that's the demon leaving her body), I realized how ridiculously good this pizza was! Lots of cheese, perfect amount of toppings - a new type of sausage! lol I got sausage, onion and banana pepper. I've never had the type of sausage they use and now I'll probably never find another I like more. Run, don't walk, RUN to this place.... You won't regret it. By the way - I got mine at like 3 am on a Tuesday (or something stupid like that) and I was about 20 mins later than they said it would be ready ---- I swear it was like they just took it out of the oven during rush hour.... Glorious... just glorious. Bravo Larobi's... you've won this girl's heart. fr fr. Lorobi’s Pizza is the Best Pizza in the town of Saint Albans! They tend to get a little busy on Friday and Saturday evenings so make sure you give those Great Busy workers a little extra time! I give Larobi’s Pizza 5 Stars on the fact the people are always friendly and of course the pizza is Great!! The only inconvenience with Larobis is the fact they’re a CASH ONLY Store. I mean to some who often carry cash it may not even bother, but if I don’t have the cash in my pocket I won’t order from there because I’m usually stopping on my way home from work and sitting in traffic to get to an ATM so you don’t have to pay other ATM fees is honestly something I just don’t really care for doing! Don’t let my way of thinking stop you because it is WORTH it!’

Pizza was great!!! No menu's available here or online....accepting credit cards & grubhub would greatly increase the notoriety of the little gem....shop local & save our mom & pop shops.....

This is my FAVORITE pizzeria pizza. I LOVE the "big O" but I'd be just as happy with a sausage pizza , they getting and slice their own. This joint is as old school as they come. Cash or check only no online services and expect a worthwhile wait on Friday nights.

Placed order for a small ham and cheese sandwich for pickup was told it would be 30 minutes , showed up and was told they hadn't even started my order that it would be 20 more minutes , plus I had other food from other places I ordered from now going to be cold , they werent busy 1 car in the parking lot and nobody in drive thru, this is the 2nd time in a month something went wrong with ordering from here , the last time I ordered big O sandwich with no green peppers and I get home and it's full of them ,

I really enjoyed this thin crust pizza. Nice and crispy. Good amount of pretty fresh toppings, although I much prefer fresh mushrooms to canned. The Big O was a good combination of flavors and the sauce was light but fresh. If you like thin crust, I'd highly recomend.

This would have been a 1 star if it would have been my first time here and the employees weren’t nice, but since I’ve had you guys multiple times before and after this has been bought I’ll give you guys a 4 star hope to change it to a 5… but this is my last time ordering from you all for a while, I tried calling multiple times for a span of 10 minutes and no answer (rang busy) which is a good sign for you all I’m guessing busy . Which I’m happy for you all, but that’s not my complaint, I was excited when I seen you all have it to where we can order from DoorDash. So I did for pickup. Ordered at 7:14pm said it would be ready at 7:50pm got an alert it was ready for pickup, got here and was told “it’ll be another 20 minutes we haven’t made yours yet sorry we are slammed” I said that’s okay I’ll wait. 20 minutes came and gone and now it’s 8:25pm and finally my pizza box is on the table and the pizza is coming out of the oven. (8:30p) I think you all need to hire more people if you are this busy. Your staff that I talked to were very nice and apologetic, I wouldn’t be so aggravated if I hadn’t just got off a 12hr shift and the only thing I’ve been craving is your pizza. I’m not mad or want anything in return also for reference I paid like $30 for an extra large pizza with pepperoni and sausage and banana peppers and onions (extra onions) on one half. Picture is what I received . Disappointed to say the least. Why am I disappointed? Because I’ve ordered plenty from here for around $20-$25 and have received way more toppings ! And this just looks pitiful for $30 . I was fine paying $30 (because of cost of food has went up) but receiving this little of toppings ? No thank you. I rather not . 😢

Very expensive...18 in pizza probably had 2 large onions on it...very over topped! Very thin crust, so with the toppings, you had to eat it with a fork! I don't think we will be going back.

Picked up large specialty pizza on 8/09/20 & cold spot wings. Have been ordering specialty pizza 4 well over a decade. Pizza was not actually like it was last time we ordered it. This pizza lacked any type of marinara sauce. Very disappointed w lack of sauce, but still very delicious. Will definitely continue our association w ur business. Ty

I went to Lorobi’s for the first time having heard and read a lot of hype about how good the pizza is. We ordered pepperoni, sausage and banana peppers. The pizza had a good cracker crust but nothing else about the pizza was memorable. It was very bland and I just felt like it was missing something.

While the ladies were good to us, the place was clean, and the pizza was fresh out the oven... the pizza itself wasn't something to write home about. It lacked some salt and other spices and herbs to help enhance the flavors. The cheese didn't have a whole lot of flavor either.

Larobi's St Albans My husband and I decided to try Larobi's in St Albans Monday evening. I decided to try their english dog and fries. It's kind of hard to mess up a hot dog this bad, but sadly that was the case. The bun was rock hard, the hot dog itself appeared to be one of those red hot dogs that aren't fit for anyone to eat. Chili on the dog was dry, coleslaw was just ok. I'd give the hot dog a 2 on a scale of 1-10. The fries were ok, but nothing to rave about. On a better note, my husband got the big o calzone which he said was pretty good. It gets a rating of 8. We also ordered their deep fried mac n cheese bites. They were delicious 😋. I give them a solid 10. They accidentally grabbed chicken nuggets thinking they were the mac n cheese bites, so they ended up giving those to us at no charge. The nuggets were really good. I'd give them an 8. Hopefully, they will do better with their hot dogs. We may order from them again sometime in the future, but I will definitely order something else from their menu. This was a to-go order so not much to report on service.

The big o was plain. No seasonings at all. Would have been better with salt but I didn't get a chance to get any on it as we ate there and couldn't get any. It was OK food. Just very plain.

Called in a order was told 45 minutes so I went to get my pizza after 45 minutes and it wasn't ready just going into the oven and I was told 6/7 minutes tops so I paid for the pizza and sat down to wait. 30 minutes later I had to ask again and they had lost the ticket. My pizza was sitting on a cutting board and was barely warm. For the first time I was disappointed ☹️ not even a apology given.

I grew up on Lorobis in SA and NEVER disappointed till tonight. You could count on freshness quality n awesome taste. Pizza tonight was NOT Lorobis- I heard changed hands in fall and dough tastes frozen not homemade - sauce taste like tomato paste - no seasoning/flavor. Cheese very thin when requested xtra and paid for it and then they topped cheese with Italian seasonings- they need to go back to original way all of us grew up on and come back to WV for or this new Lorobis won’t last —

Got a pepperoni mushroom and onion a week ago the box wasn’t all that hot so got home pizza was like warm I should’ve called back but I didn’t and put I. Microwave then I threw it out

South Ridge location is good but I dont like this one, also would have been nice to know they dont accept credit card. Had to drive to 2 different ATMs then come back for my food.

Start calling at 9:15 to get a pizza when the website says they are open till 10pm. Drive all the way there to get a pizza only to find out they have closed at whatever time. The website says you close at 10. Why at 9:30 are the doors closed and the place not lit up. Very disappointed

I grew up in Saint Albans, and Larobi's was my favorite pizza place as a child. After years away, I was excited to revisit it today, but I was severely disappointed. The pizza has drastically changed, likely due to new ownership. The once unique, house-made crust is now a low-quality, preformed frozen crust, which made the pizza inedible. It was also undercooked. I was told it would be 35-45 minutes for my order to be ready however when I arrived 30 mins later the pizza was only luke warm. Honestly, gas station pizza from Speedway or Sheetz is better—and that’s not high praise. The prices are also astronomical. It was nearly $20 for a medium 2-topping pizza and I received one of the worst pizzas I’ve ever had. I’ll gladly pay $20 or $30 for a great high quality pizza but I wouldn’t pay $1 for what I got today. It went straight to the trash after just a few bites. The restaurant itself is rundown, dirty, and the staff is rude. If the new owners want to survive, they should return to the original recipes, especially the house-made crust, or they'll continue to lose customers.

Got a pepperoni and sausage pizza. It was gross. The sausage smells funny and coats the entire pizza in slices so you can’t remove it. We threw it away.

This place changed hands, I was making a special effort to stop here whenever I was in WV. Won't do that anymore. New owners did you get the old receipt and technique? It's important, your higher prices wouldn't be a big deal if the quality of the original pie was there. It's not, and I will miss the OG Lorobi's, RIP.

Awful, got a sub from there and it was more bread than anything and that was supposed to have extra ham on it. I always try to support our local businesses but they didn't even have a menu up. Had to ask for one. Definitely not the lorobi's I remember oh, and the lettuce was definitely going bad if not already.
