Lacey greeted us at the host stand and immediately sat us. Our table was right in front of the kitchen but staff kept conversation at a distance. We started with some tasty bread and butter. Ordered Crab cake as our appetizer— a bit small and cold in the center. But overall tasty. They were out of all steaks so we shared the Lobster Chowder and Caesar. Soup was tasty-the Caesar had spinach and not romaine but I still ate it. We split the fish and chips. Not too pleased but the ambiance and service won us over! We had a few great glasses of wine and enjoyed each other’s company. Luckily the accidentally got a nice Pinot -it made my bite! We loved the linen service and how efficient the staff worked together. We will be back. Great for ADHD folks. So many things to observe.
Hubby and I decided to visit French Quarter for their “Limited Time, All you can eat Seafood Buffet for $60.00” which started today. I love seafood so I wouldn’t miss it for nothing. We arrived around 8:00pm and was nicely greeted by hostess Rebecca, who made us aware that dining was by reservation. The Ad didn’t state reservation needed, Rebecca was able to get us in at around 9:30pm. Everything was fresh and delicious Blacken Salmon, Oysters, Smoked Salmon, Prime Ribs, Salads, Variety of cheeses, Fried Chicken, roasted potatoes and a variety of Desserts. My mouth is still watering. French Quarter, you’ve won yourself another guests. My family and I will definitely be back. Out Servicer Jasmine was very attentive and polite.
The food was excellent, service was top notch. Nick was our server and he was very good, extremely personable and very knowledgeable of all the dishes and more. It may have cost a pretty penny but it was well worth every dollar. The flat iron steak was cooked perfectly, the grilled salmon was amazing. We had a creme brulee bananas fosters for dessert and it was the best. All in all I will say I will definitely be coming back. This was the best meal I had in a long time and it will be hard to top.
Amazing service, excellent food! A very romantic setting for couples although I came with a gal friend. Candlelit tables make a relaxing ambiance.
John and Emily were awesome!! Very good food!! But was expecting a French vibe not sure why I got an Italian vibe?? Expecting French wines n Etouffe
Great place to eat!!
My husband and I have been coming to The French Quarter for some time now, and the food is consistently great, but the staff is really what makes this place stand out. We had one less-than-perfect visit in the past, but every experience since then has been wonderful. The host (I wish I remembered to ask for her name) is always so kind and remembers us every time we come in. She goes out of her way to get us a comfortable booth and pair us with our favorite server, which we truly appreciate. Our server, Bailey, is just as exceptional. She remembers our preferences and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure we’re well taken care of. She even remembers that my husband likes hot sauce with his meal and that I don’t like tomatoes in my salad. Having spent over a decade working in the restaurant industry, I know that off days happen. What matters is how a team shows up afterward, and the staff here has completely turned that one experience into a distant memory. They continue to make each visit enjoyable and welcoming. I am genuinely amazed and appreciative of all the staff but especially the host and Bailey.
We came for the Friday night seafood buffet. My husband ordered off the menu though, the fish and chips. They were just okay but I thought the buffet was great. For $65/pp it was a good value/selection. There were fried clam strips, fried oysters, raw oysters, large shrimp cocktail, a couple varieties of sushi, smoked salmon, steamed salmon and white fish, Mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, snow crab legs, prime rib, another kind of salmon, small scallops, a charcuterie board, fruits and small desserts. We made reservations online and we were promptly seated. I would definitely visit again.
michelle, our server, was so personable and well educated with the menu for both food and drink. the ribeye was delicious and the baseball sirloin was a grand slam! would highly recommend!!
We had a late lunch yesterday (2/28/24) and enjoyed the whole experience so much. Delicious food, very generous portions and GREAT service for a very reasonable price. I always judge a place by the cleanliness of the silverware and general area and it was perfect. Also, the iced tea was delicious; not everyone can make it to my standards. The menu had a lot of good choices. I had the Steak Salad w/blue cheese. So good! Would go again in a heartbeat!
Had the pleasure of eating here in July of 2023. I was solo so I sat at the bar and had Brandi as my server. She was helpful, friendly and engaging. I ordered a ribeye, asparagus, shrimp cocktail, asparagus and mashed potatoes. The steak was USDA Choice but was prepared well and was flavorful enough to make it enjoyable. The sides were great and the service fantastic. You won’t be confused that you’re at the SW Steakhouse at the Wynn but it was definitely worth the stop! Thank you Brandi for a great evening!
Michele our server was excellent. Meal was perfect. Michele was so nice. From your Pittsburgh couple.
After losing at the casino we decided to try this restaurant. The lobster ravioli was excellent. The mixed drinks were really good and our server was very attentive.
We had the steak filet, baked potato and salad. All was cooked well and tasted great. Service is very good.
Incredible service. Spectacular environment and a menu to die for. Very accommodating to patrons dietary preferences, allergies included. A prime destination for the seafood lover.
Food & Service was Great, Took a little bit to get our food but it was very busy on a Saturday nite so no worries there. It was my first time eating there & would go again & reccomend to anyone looking for a good tasty meal
The filet, the lobster, the potato, down to new dinner rolls all were perfect. Have been coming here for years.
Meal was fabulous they were slammed service was good.
Great place to eat while you are at the Mardi Gras.
The food was excellent and cooked to perfection. I cannot say enough positive things about our server Michele. She was absolutely wonderful. She made sure we had everything we needed and everything was cooked to perfection. If you dine here you wont regret it and if you do make sure to ask for Michele.
We loved it. The food is outstanding. Well worth the whole experience. Our server was incredible. She made us feel so welcome. We got everything we needed and loved all the suggestions. The food is wonderful, so hot, tasty and great portion size. This dining is what we definitely enjoyed. So romantic with a comfortable atmosphere. Everyone who works there is all smiles and made us want to come back. Thank you so much for creating a beautiful memory.
Good food.
Bought the 22ounch porterhouse steak which was absolutely delicious. We added 3 scallops for $15 which were ok but very tiny (not worth $15). Michelle was our waitress and she was extremely attentive and very personable.
The food was absolutely fantastic, oh my god I've never had a steak cooked so perfectly and so tender/juicy. The baked potato and asparagus were cooked to perfection as well. I gave 4 stars because the service wasnt great...and that's being nice. Our server seemed nice and all, but 15-20 minute for a refill is pretty ridiculous, especially for such a small restaurant and hardly anyone dining on this evening. We hardly ever saw her, she was always running to the back and staying there. Pretty much all of the other servers were out on the floor, checking on their tables. There needs to be definite improvement on their service, but the food and drinks are out of this world.
Food was pretty good, but I expected a bit better quality for the price. Service was excellent and wait staff was spot on.
We went for the revitalized seafood buffet on Friday night. One can start with a much varied cocktail menu. Service was good and the variety was good that included jumbo cocktail shrimp, muscles, oysters on the half shell, lox, various veggies, mashed potatoes, delicious baby carrots, and small sized snow crabs that you really had to work at to get any meat. There were tasty mini, one-bite crab cakes, too. These were delicious and even better dipped in the drawn butter. You could enjoy a salad and also there was a carving station with VERY overspiced salmon that was actually too spicy to even eat. It makes you wonder why they did that....? There was prime rib sliced-to-order that my wife tried and she said it was tough to even cut and it was chewy. For dessert there were numerous mini pastries and mini parfaits, all with some form of chocolate in them. Most were good and enjoyed. Overall, we decided that it was not worth another visit for the seafood buffet. We did enjoy some gambling afterwards so it was a good date night out.
My friends said this was the first time the food was, meh. Steaks were a lil over done, so we aren't wasting time asking for a fresh attempt. Undercooked can at least be refired. Carrots were undercooked and hard. Asparagus was trimmed and cooked well. Baked potato was a lil underdone. the stars and stripes drink was sugar water. Lobster was overcooked too. It happens. Willing to try again.
The food varied from excellent to mediocre. The crabcakes with redfish were scrumptious. The other entrees were just fair. The cocktails were terrible. The bartender didn't even know how to make such basic drinks as old fashions and Manhattans.
pretty good food but definitely not the best for the price!!
I got dessert to go today, 1/14/24. The meal was good but the brownie was awful. It was hard as a rock and inedible. Waste of $10! Wondering if they gave me the week old brownie since I’d be at home eating it and not at the restaurant.
Ribeye bad, tasted watery, and prices much higher than posted in casino daily racing guide.
Not able to eat closed poor hrs and days.
Server was not very attentive to our needs. Food was cold and had the feel and taste of fine dining in a trailer park. Although filet was above average and prepared to the requested temp, the Bérnaise sauce was curdled. Scallops were cold and wrapped with raw bacon, baked potatoes appeared to be microwaved, and lobster ravioli was from a frozen bag and tasted much like I imagine cat food might. $125.00 would have been far better spent at the café next door or at Arby's down the Street. Much improvement needed here to carry any image of "fine dining" beyond the white table cloth and fancy water glass.
Steak didn’t even taste decent, was so bad.
This place use to have the absolute best seafood night on Friday. I wasn’t even one to particularly like seafood. Now they have moved it to their Bayou Buffet on Friday and Saturday and it’s not anywhere near the level of Golden Corral. Selection is terrible and food is cold and hard. Cost is $25/pp and an extra $15 for crab legs. Seriously do not waste your money here, eat before you head to the casino.
They do not honor their reservations. My husband and I went there for New Year's and our 8:30 reservation was ignored. We are well dressed and polite people, it was very intentional on the managers part.
Over cooked shrimp for the cocktail, with a paper thin lemon with seeds. Asked if I wanted my rare plus filet mignon butterflied. It came medium well and server argued how I ordered it.
If you are a mini you are still aloud to eat at the restaurant, even though it is in a casino. You can’t walk into the restaurant like everyone else, or wait in like because then you would be on the floor that the slot machines were on. I could not step off of the wood floor of the restaurant so therefore while I was waiting to be seated I had to stand because there were no chairs on the side of the floor that I had to stand on.
Lady Bartender last night, Saturday night, needs a big attitude adjustment. Multiple people multiple occasions. Rude, short, talked poorly about customers in front of customers.
Waiting at the bar for over 10 minutes still no service!
My drink had a bug in it, they brought me french onion dip & it was totally disgusting & then sent it back & replaced it with a salad, got through half the salad & found another bug in it! Deff wouldnt reccommend.
Wanted to have a 12 top there...said ok at 830..came back and they wouldn't seat us ..would have been a 1k or more check..manager on duty said no even though he said yes earlier in the evening..he didn't care...cant believe they will be in business and amount of time!
Terrible filet. Cooked to a crisp. Waiter did absolutely nothing. Very disappointed.
The nastiest most tasteless food I’ve ever had.
Went there last night first time the food was terrible and the service was horrible never again will I go here to spend 80.00 for garbage the people beside us was also very upset with food and service do not recommend this place
My son who is 20 made reservations for valentines day and traveled over 1.5 hours. They were denied entry for not being 21 years old. Nowhere on the restaurant website does it say anything regarding an age for entry or does it ask when making reservations.
