Me and my friend showed up late at night and ordered the nuclear wings, as well as an order of garlic parm. The service was excellent, they gave us 9 wings for each order instead of the usual 8 that were included, and on top of that we were given a free cup of their sweetest sauce to help ensure the pain. Hands down the spiciest wings I have ever had, but the negative reviews were not at all warrented. P.s. the wings weee cooked excellently, no Complaints there at all

Great service great wings. They cooked them fresh for me upon walking in. I got the 20 peice of their hottest wings. My wife was struggling to start labor before she got induced, we ate maybe 7 each and a few hours later she was in labor. They are dangerously hot

This was my first time trying food from Atomic Wings. It was really good the mango habanero sauce is very flavorful with I nice bit of burn to it. The food quality is excellent. The only area where I can see a bit of improvement might be needed would be in portion sizes. The portions are a bit small for the price. Again I say the food is excellent, but we'd like a bit more of it.

After Grand Reopening Update Wing sauces are spot on. Great flavors to choose from, both sweet and extremely hot. Have had chicken tenders with nuclear sauce and Mango Habanero. Tenders were freshly cooked, they were tender, moist and very good. The nuclear sauce was a delayed kick, with great flavor and a lot of heat. Mango Habanero both smelled and immediately tasted like mango, nice sweetness, but lacked a little heat. Waffle fries were perfectly cooked. Staff was friendly as well.

A nice take out place not so much dine in. Only complaint about the food was the seasoning is a bit too salty for me but other than that great food and fast pick up time. The fries is also good.

I've been coming to this place for the last couple of years and everything was fine until recently. I noticed that the chicken wasn't cleaned properly and had a lot of noticeable hair on it. It's not cool to eat at a place where they don't take proper care of the food they serve Update: I have revisited multiple times, and the wings have significantly improved. As a result, I have updated my rating to five stars.

Their wings are always freshly made after you order. So no sogginess or hardness like in other places. Best of all the sauces are very well flavored, especially the spicy ones- they have that ATOMIC HEAT!!! I wish I had taken photos before submitting this comment, but they were just too good that forgot to take pictures. We got the jerk BBQ and mango habanero sauce. Last but not least They are HALAL, more great.

They were good but could have been better. The mozzarella stick were also ok. Would I go back? Yes but next time I’ll get the atomic or nuclear wings. (Revised) I must apologize about my first part of the review. Actually not apologize because I was right about getting just the hot wings (lol). Boy I should have heed my warning from the first time. This time I got the Atomic wings. If you have a faint heart and no milk don’t eat these in the car on the way to an appointment. OMG!!!!!! These are the hottest wings I’ve ever had. I had one and arrived at my appointment on time at 1:00 but had to wait until 1:10 for the heat to calm down from eating the 1 wing at 12:50. It took 20 minutes to stop burning. Of course the only 2 things I had to drink were water and soda. Ouch!!! Made it worse of course. But got home and ate 6 more with milk and blue cheese. So addictive I couldn’t stop. Would definitely recommend this stop to anyone for wings. Nice quiet place and really friendly and quick service. Got Mac and cheese with jalapeño poppers too but not caring about those because my attention is more on the wings lol

Its a pretty standard chicken shop. Not the most beautiful but most people get takeout here. There's one young man who works there at night who is very cute, personable and friendly. He keeps people smiling.

I absolutely love atomic wings. Their wings are great however I think there is a lack of quality control that occurs here. I tend to order the same thing here but occasionally I experiment and try other foods and it usually turns out disastrous. I recently tried the crispy chicken sandwich and it was incredibly salty, as if a bucket of salt was dumped on it. I thought it was just me but I had others try it and they attested to the same thing. Another time I tried their mozzarella sticks and all 3 times it tasted as if it exposed to some type of chemicals? Love their food but I hate the fact that it’s hit or miss sometimes.

Tried the newest location Albany, ny. Ordered 20 wings. Honey BBQ and chipotle BBQ with waffle fries. Ordered extra crispy since the wings are all natural. (No breading) Good size wings, juicy and flavor was really good. Plenty of sauce on the wings. Not really crispy but was fine since it's not breaded. Pickiest son loved his honey bbq wings so that's a great plug. As much as recovery room wings. Got there late so waffle fries were soggy but put them in the oven and they where very good. They said 20 minutes, we left at 20 minutes, went to Starbucks and they called making sure we were on our way. Very nice girl at the counter. Will go back.

From someone who has grown up in Buffalo New York and has had wings from places like Duff's offering "suicidal" and "Death" chicken wings, if you want something just as insanely hot, their nuclear wings are just the thing. They offer a unique flavor unlike the other heat ratings albeit I was only able to finish a few. There atomic wings are just the right amount of heat for me, without rendering me incapable of finishing a meal. The flavor is excellent and the delivery through grub hub is prompt. My only con would be that they do not offer delivery themselves but this is not something that should deter you from experiencing how excellent these wings are. This is now my place of choice for local wings, and I haven't been dissatisfied on a single occasion.

The food was amazing! Very well seasoned and cooked perfectly. The meat came right off the bone and I love how fresh everything was. Best wings in Albany. The only thing that was wrong was that the order kept getting mixed up but they were very busy and it’s understandable but their manager was rude to the staff yelling and them and talking down to them and it made me upset. I would like to applaud the young women who were working there for smiling and still being friendly in that chaos.

Ended up finding this place randomly looking for wings. Had the regular mild buffalo and sweet potato fries. Wings are cooked crispy and are not saucy. If you like sauce you will need to request extra wet. Otherwise great wings and sweet potato fries they were the best, decent prices. Food ready in under 15 minutes. Will visit again and try a new flavor now I know how they cook and serve them.

This wings place used to be kind of hit or miss. But my latest order, the wings were meaty and juicy, and the Atomic sauce is a glorious mix of spicy and flavorful, not just some cheap hot sauce with lack of flavor. I haven't had a bad experience here before, just average to very good but lately very good.

Amazing halal food, the wings were excellent!!! The gyro rice was a bit hard and weren't cooked well enough but the chicken and sauces were good. The burger wasn't that good, it was chewy. However the wings, sauces, fries and quesadilla were pretty good. Next time I'd probably just have a meal of the wings and fries. Service is veryyy slow, so expect a long wait time. However the food is good and sitting area was good for a small group of 4.

Its good to see another halal place opening up in town, adding to the growing array of halal options in the area. The bad thing is the food is just okay. First time I went, they were out of burgers. I got a buffalo chicken burger instead. It tasted fine, but it was $8. I know halal meat is more expensive, but double the price of any other chicken sandwich? yikes. Second time I went I got wings. Mango habanero sauce was really good, but for 20 wings, I only got one bleu cheese. If your employees are too busy to pay attention, why not hire another employee? I hope they improve, they have so much potential. I will give it another try to see what happens.

Wish I could call about this but the phone number doesn't ring. Got an atomic burger which was awesome, but the tenders were totoally dry. As in, missing the sauce I ordered altogether. Cashier said that the order took so long because there was a large order ahead of me, and I guess it was rushed out the door. May come back or not.

Staff is friendly. Wings are good but their sauces and rubs seem to lack flavor or at least variation in flavor. As for atmosphere, there is none. This is a take out kinda place. There’s a table or two but it’s tight in there and eating in would feel awkward. It’s pretty pricey here too. Honestly I’d rather get some Dino BBQ wango tango about the same price.

I want to pre-face this by saying that their friendliness and wing flavors deserve a five star review. HOWEVER, I am giving them a three star review for various reasons, mostly that they screwed up our order royally. I messaged them before their opening day to find out if they had any way that I would be able to stay dry outside of their establishment as they were having a grand opening event, and figured there would be a line. I am currently using a wheelchair, and had my five year old with me, so it was important that we do so. I received no reply, even though they had reviewed the message. I tried to call them, but they did not have their lines set up yet apparently. Upon the grand opening event, my boyfriend put in an order for pick up. After waiting for over an hour, and seeing multiple people that came after and get their food, he asked them about it. They told him they did not receive the order. They quickly tried to take care of fulfilling it, and included some extras as compensation, which was very sweet. Unfortunately, he ordered 50 bone in wings, and we got boneless wings a.k.a. chicken nuggets which none of us enjoy. They also missed our waffle fries. Also, per the event details, we were to receive a raffle entry. We did not. We were told to download the app. We all did so. There was no way to enter, and I told us to place an order, presumably, the only way to do so. We each placed an order for a lonesome blue cheese to which we still did not receive an entry. I asked my boyfriend about this, and he told me that the guy behind the counter explain to him that they were doing it in a cascade method which made no sense to him, and quite frankly, sounded like a scam. In reality, none of that is needed in order to get people through their doors as their flavors sell their products alone and their friendly staff is the cherry on top. Under normal circumstances if this were not an event day, and they were not overwhelmed, I would assume that they would’ve earned a five star review, and that our order would not have gotten so screwed up. All other issues are presumably from management/corporate.

I stopped by looking for a quick snack and was referred to this location. Upon entering, the place was clean, but the smell of cleaning products was a bit overwhelming. I had to stand at the counter for about 1–2 minutes before anyone acknowledged me. Once I placed my order (Thai chili wings and waffle fries), I was told it would be a 12-minute wait. When the food arrived, the presentation was solid — I’d give it an 4.5 out of 10. The waffle fries were very crispy and well-cooked, and the wings had good flavor. Unfortunately, after eating, I experienced some stomach discomfort, which affected my overall impression. For that reason, I’m giving this place 3 stars.

Update** See original review below. I said I'd come back for the chicken sandwich and I did just that. It was a comparable chicken sandwich to Dave's Hot Chicken and the service was great. I ordered the tenders with lemon pepper, poppers and the mac & cheese. The tenders along with the wings my girlfriend got needed to be cooked longer. They were not crispy at all and really juicy. The mac & cheese was flavorful and the poopers were nothing to write home about. Definitely not as good as Dave's Hot Chicken but I'll be back to try the chicken sandwich someday.

First time here for my son’s 17th birthday! We ordered a Chicken Caesar wrap with sweet potato fries, poppers, two orders of waffle fries, three orders of wings, chicken tenders, and deep fried Oreos! It took over An hour to get everything. Food was fresh hot and tasty but very short staffed!

I’ve ordered food here on two separate occasions and neither experience was a good one. The first occasion I ordered in store and then waited over an hour for the food. The food itself wasn’t too bad, just the wait was unreasonable. The second time was much worse. I got to the store 5 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready, I then waited another 20 minutes before getting it. While waiting I saw 3 other customers having issues with wait time and receiving wrong orders. When I finally got my food I checked it in the car and found that I was missing an order of wings, and one order of wings I did get was boneless instead of the traditional wings I ordered. On top of all that, the chicken was tough to chew and did not taste very good. This will be the last time I get food from this place. Wings Over Albany was miles better than this place.

It amazes me they’re still in business, while the food tastes good there’s always an issue. Between the open sign being lit but the doors are locked and no one inside during business hours. To the door being open but the only one inside can’t speak good English and can only say “order online I can cook no this” while pointing to the register. I only get 30 minutes for lunch and never know if I can actually buy food when I get there until I get there. It’s annoying

I used to have good experiences here, but I am sorely disappointed today. The staff was not pleasant, which I understand they were busy, but its customer service and one thing that keeps me coming back to restaurants/food service places is pleasant staff. Aside from that, my fries and my wings were soggy and tasted like they'd been sitting under a warmer all day which is unfortunate because my order was placed less than 20 mins before I came in to pick it up. The only really good thing I can say is that the food was ready pretty quick and the flavor was there, it was just unpleasant to eat because of it being soggy.

Bit of a long wait (30-40mins), but the the food was fresh and hot. Waffle fries where yummy, wings where ok.... I was expecting more of a 'jumbo' sized wing, these are regular sized wings you can get at the price chopper next door. While we where there 3 people had issues with their orders and the customer service was sub par, as with these Google reviews also. Is was okay food but for the price I don't think I'll be back.

This was our first time ordering from atomic wings, unfortunately we won’t be ordering from there again. We got two sets of 10 boneless wings, the wings were extremely old and hard. We also got an order of waffle fries which was also old and cold. The sweet potato fries were fresh crispy and warm. And the fried Oreo was good.

I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and onion rings. The O rings were GREAT but sadly that sandwich wasn't good at all. Hardly any meat but a lot of bun and the Buffslo sauce I had added was sloppy and it didn't taste good. No unsweetened iced tea. Just a lot of soda and sugary drinks isn't what I was hoping for. I was there at lunchtime and they had virtually no other customers. Telling? Maybe. $15+ for that? Ridiculous. If you're charging that, make sure the sandwich has some meat on it. I was also told I couldn't get a combo if I wanted O rings. Not even with an upcharge which I also thought seemed ridiculous. One and done. Not returning.

Stopped in for lunch and got a combo. Traditional wings and waffle fries. I requested buffalo hot, unfortunately they were not spicy at all, as in lower than mild. Additionally, the oil taste left over was bitter and likely needed to be changed. Waffle fries were mediocre.

Wings were tiny, not jumbo at all. One wing looks like it was half eaten. Grease was old and I can taste it in the wings. I ordered late so that can be why. The wing sauce was good but probably won’t order from here again. Price too high for them baby chicken wings in overused grease

Service was extremely friendly!! Sauces were good but a lot of the wings were too pink for me to eat or to let my son eat. It took FOREVER and a day to get our food... 3 of us got our wings and it was over 20 minutes until my son then did. Took over an hour for our second order of waffle fries. Still enjoyed the food’s flavor and crispness of the wings!!

Ordered two kinds of wings . One was garlic Parmesan boneless and those were great, albeit reminded me of chicken nuggets. The other, the actual Atomic bone in wings, had a good taste but were definitely stale. They were hard and shriveled and mostly dry except for the splash of the atomic sauce on a few of them. It was like they cook a huge batch all at once and leave them in a warmer all day until someone orders them, and they just add a taste of whatever flavor you got and call it a day. These wings were tossed in the trash as after a day in the fridge as leftovers they were just way too hard to eat. Please do not serve your customers stale wings. You are a corporation and surely can do better.

Update: 07.11.25 - Management must have changed because no one knows how to communicate in English and despite my order being through DoorDash, I called them and placed an order to make sure everything is accurate AND THEY STILL GOT IT WRONG. I drive by the restaurant on the daily but never thought to check it out. I'm so happy that this place serves Halal, delicious food. The Lemonade-type drink I got was really good, too, albeit a bit pricey! I will DEFINITELY be eating their burger again in the near future!

I order 2 combos over the phone... lemon pepper bonelss combo and a buffalo chicken combo. I received both without fries or drinks. And they didnt put any dipping sauce in the bag either. It was a horrible experience. I called and told them about all the items I was missing. And they told me to come the next day to get a new order because they messed up. Well the next day I went back and they still messed up the new order. Food was over cooked and still no dipping sauce. Just ridiculous. I will never order from here again.

My husband was in Guilderland, so he decided to bring home dinner. (We live 25 minutes away.) He ordered 50 wings and a Buffalo chicken wrap. The wings were dry and no t very popular with our teenage boys. I can’t tell you how the wrap was—because we never got it. When we called we were told, “Sorry, we put it in the wrong bag.” There was no refund offered, no compensation for the inconvenience, and no solution offered. He will be going out of his way tomorrow to get a refund, and we will NOT be returning to this establishment! They need a few lessons in customer service!

I don’t even want to give them 1 star. This place doesn’t deserve any good rating. Everytime I ordered food, it took forever, even on pick up orders. They let you wait & wait and when your food arrive, it’s so hard and taste horrible. It’s been almost 2 months and they didn’t have any burgers. Everytime I call and ask for burgers, they says it’s coming next week but employees just lie. Their wings are always so hard and over cooked. I’ll never order from here again!

Terrible service!. We ordered online today and said it is ready to pick up at 1:17 pm. My husband was at the store at 1:20 but the order was not ready yet. He waited for another 10-12 mins. We ordered 10+5 wings but we found out that they only gave us 5+5 wings. Wings are not breaded and too much sauce. Very disappointed. Will not order again!

I ordered a grilled chicken salad the other day and the chicken taste like the grill hadn't been cleaned in weeks and the lettuce was more brown than green. I've given this place a few tries since it's new in the area but almost every time my food was wasted. They say the food is fresh but it tastes like the chicken sits out all day before being cooked. I took my daughter to try out the place and there were flies every where, I can only imagine how many have landed on the food. I will definitely not be getting food here again.

I placed my order on online it tells me to pick up my order at 6:56 I get there and my order isn’t done. I finally get my order and the woman said that I didn’t even have drinks on my ticket knowing that i just paid for my order. I ordered at 1:05 am and than i waited 1.5 hours just to get a message saying my order was cancelled due to the restaurant closing at 2 am.

They told us our order would be ready in five minutes and it took almost half an hour. On top of that, they sent one of the cooks running after us put the door because they forgot to put my sandwich in the bag. The tables were filthy. The food was good for what it is, but not worth the wait and the price. It takes so little time to wipe a table with a sani rag. The person at the register was very kind though.

Placed an online order for 10 piece chicken tenders, tots and onion rings. My son picked it up and when we unpacked, they had given us 10 boneless wings instead of tenders. An $8.00 difference. We called and were told we could come pick up the tenders or get store credit. Going back was not an option. It would have taken another hour round trip so they will give us a credit on our next order. Thing is we won’t go back because they are too incompetent to process a simple order so basically they get away with stealing $8.00 from us. Avoid this place!

If you would like syrup with your chicken and waffles, that would be an extra dollar. I wonder how much extra they charge for the cheese on the cheeseburger? Don't ask for ketchup, you can't afford it.

DO NOT EAT HERE. THE SMELL WAS AWFUL AND I COULD NOT FIGUTE IT OUT UNTIL I TOOK THE FIRST BITE. THE OIL IS OLD AND RACID. THIS PLACE SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN OPENED. THE NEW YORK STATE HEALTH DEPARTMENT NEEDS TO PAY THEM A VISIT. I ALMOST THREW UP ONCE I FIGURED OUT THE OIL WAS THE AWFUL SMELL. THE OWNER'S GLOVES WERE MELTED WHICH TELLS ME THAT HE DOES NOT CHANGE THEM OFTEN ENOUGH TO BE CLEAN. THE ONLY REASON THE DRINK COOLER IS LOCATED BEHIND THE COUNTER IS TO BLOCK YOUR VIEW OF THE FILTHY KITCHEN. PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEY AND YOURSELF FROM GETTING SICK. I WILL NEVER RETURN, EVER!

These tiny “Buffalo wings” in this tiny container costs 7.00. This tiny, dry thing is supposed to be the atomic burger. It’s 8.50. Rip off. Burger tasted ok. The wings not so much.
