I chose this place for the free clams on your birthday so that is a nice perk. You seat yourselves so there was no wait for a table. Our waitress was pleasant but we did have to track her down after a long wait to pay our bill. My son and I both got the French onion soup and yuck. The onions were cut very large and were hard, as in not cooked down at all. My son also had a chefs salad which he enjoyed. My other son got a burger which appeared to be a frozen preformed patty. My husband got the fish and chips and also didn't like the fish. I did enjoy my birthday clams. But based on the yucky burger, fish and soup, gross men's room (per my husband) and fairly slow service, I would not return.

When you see a mandatory gratuity notice posted at any food establishment that’s your sign to leave. It usually indicates that no one is tipping due to bad food or poor service. Our server was doing the best she could but our food was not good,our French fries I believe were made the day before,cold and hard as were my wife’s as well. My burger was over cooked and cold . We did have an order of their chicken wings other than small,they were great.

I literally come everyday for lunch because I work across the street the food is so good and it’s a fun place because my family hangs out here at night they love it. EVERY SINGLE TIME I just come in to grab my food and go it’s just disgusting attitudes the brush off I wish it was another place to eat over here so if you like go food with a side of attitude this is your place

I ordered the Prime rib French Dip, was definitely the worst one I've had in my lifetime, stale roll, barely any meat on it and the meat that was on it was dry, oh and they call it a dip, but dont give you any au jus to dip it in. I definitely will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone to go there. I would have gotten a better meal at McDonald's for the $20 I spent on the crap I just had

They always cancel orders from delivery services and cant even answer thier phone. Customer Service = F Update: when they finally answered the phone after 6 attempts on 3 different days. The guy who answered the phone told me, they had only been experiencing the Grubhub system that day. The issua had happened over 2 weeks. Then we tried to order dinner from them one last time today....THEY STILL CANCELD IT. I called again this time they picked right up. Told them my orders were still getting canceled. I was told there was no way that was possible. After getting of the phone with the restaurant, I called Grubhub. They told me that everytime the restaurant rejected the order...not thier system.

All I can say is WOW. How this place gets away with serving the clams they do and charging. I have actually never seen clams so small in my life. If they were the size of a dime that would be over exaggerating. Sorry for all the regulars who go here, but never again. Live and learn.

called to place an order for pick up at 9:40, guy answers and says the kitchen is closed.. i asked what time does the kitchen close because obviously I’ve ordered pick up and food at ships pub after 9:40 plenty times.. he says “10 o’clock” i reply, oh it’s only 9:42? He hangs up… real class act. Rude and unprofessional.

Update** I gave them a second chance, my mistake… received another half empty tray of fries and onion rings instead of chicken tenders.. pathetic excuse for service. Thankfully Jrs has quality food and excellent service! Happy to see that company growing!! I ordered delivery, after an hour I was notified they never received the order despite the money being taken from my account. I managed to get a refund a replace the order, after over another hour the food arrived and I was missing half my order…. Not sure if it was an off night or what but 2.5 hours later I’m eating soggy French fries and cold onion rings for dinner….

I’m 24 years old my name is JEWEL . I’ve been coming here for 3 years now …..,I just got off work & didn’t have all my belongings on me . she turned me away due to me “looking young” didn’t ID anybody in the bar until I came in & sat down !! . I told her to ask for Conor so he can vouch for me Since that’s a person I know here , she continues to say he doesn’t “ID” anyone bashed him which was very odd & says I shouldn’t be looking under 15….& it’s spring break. I’m confused I have my whole work outfit on … straight out of work . 15? Very disrespectful !!! If you’re going to ID me , ID everyone !! . How am I not suppose to think this wasn’t intentional? How would I know a bartenders name if Im not a consistent customer here ?? She stated she’s been here for 6 years .. Again you couldn’t call on the next bartender I have been coming here & have multiple receipts to prove it . Ships your bartenders LACK community !!!! That’s why Conor gets respect from everyone because he KNOWS faces no matter race Or AGE & knows his customers !! I will be escalating this so the next young adult doesn’t experience this..

Went for my birthday dinner and was so excited about the steamers. They were disgusting, I couldn't even make it through my first bite without spitting it out. Then I got the "fried chicken" sandwich. I asked our waitress how it was and she said delicious, really good. It came out and it was a chicken patty. Very disappointing is an understatement.
