Food is excellent! Service was great and attentive! Been here plenty of times. Many more to come.
It was great, 4 dollar drinks at happy hour and the Caribbean food was very good, nice vibe and atmosphere was great, and they don't bang you in the head with price.
This place is great. The drinks are reasonably priced, and "they do the job". The crowd is totally chilled out ...super nice atmosphere. And those mason jar drinks.......😁
One of my favorite spots in NYC when it was a poetry cafe many Brooklyn moons ago. I didn't know it became a Caribbean restaurant. The food looks amazing.
Great food & the atmosphere was super relaxing. Amazing customer service. Definite recommend. Will always eat here whenever I’m in NYC..
Our server here was phenomenal. We came for lunch and there was amazing music. Very low key and affordable. Great happy hour.
Soul food as well as Caribbean. The jerk chicken is insane. Or try anything fried with mac and collard greens. I could drink the hotsauce by itself. And they have music and comedy on some nights too. Check this original Brooklyn spot for the real deal!
Great bar for poc. Happy hour is the best time to go if ur looking for affordable drinks. Sat nites are litt, butt also could b because I had great company.
I've been here twice. Each time I truely can say > enjoyed myself. Small space, comfy and food n drinks are fabulous. This is my after work spot to go on friday.
All of their cocktails are incredible! Cute Cafe. Aameer's the man - super friendly, kind, and just an overall great bartender!
This was my husband and I first time there and we will definitely be coming back. The food was so good!!! I had the spicy shrimp w/plantains and he had the jerk chicken w/mac n cheese. Service was great and the staff was so friendly...I was so surprised at how good the food was and the price was definitely worth it...definitely a returning customer!!!
The rum punch here will knock you out! Well, that and maybe two mango margaritas. Either way it's yummy as hell. Staff is not nearly as welcoming or as courteous as they could be but they are probably just West Indian, so is all good. They are respectful and dutiful all the same.
Great Find in Brooklyn. First time but will definitely not be my last. Food, service and atmosphere was amazing. Felt like home......drinks were totally on point and that fried fish!!! 😋😋❤❤❤
This has always been a favorite spot of mine. It’s so for the #culture and I absolutely love what they have going on there. Came in and had some really powerful conversations over a meal. Hope others find themselves coming through to eat!
Celebrated My Son's Birthday 5/28/17. Had A Wonderful Brunch, Delicious Food, Great Staff (They Know What Good Customer Service Is), Great Drinks, A Cool Mature Crowd!!!
Personally, this spot is the fraternal twin to Mo's. Brooklyn Moon has some of the tastiest and healthiest food you can order around: from the mussels to the jerk chicken. They have some of the greatest mixed drinks, though they can sneak up on you. If packed, which this place can be, particularly towards the weekend, service can be a bit slow. Regardless, the vibe is always great with cool neo-soul vibes, friendly and welcoming customers, and just all around positive energy. If you are in Fort Greene and want sone wonderful soul / Caribbean food, indeed visit Brooklyn Moon.
Excellent food, super friendly staff and service. I wish there was more outdoor seating but inside or outside it's got a great vibe. They also have decent options for vegetarians.
Black Owned, Amazing atmosphere Romantic Beautiful Vibes the people are Dope! My husband and I Love Brooklyn Moon it's been one of Our Fav Spots in Brooklyn for years i almost cried when I thought they closed but yes they are open and Sexy as Ever ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Atmosphere was nice with music on a Sunday. Ordered BBQ chicken with roasted vegs which was delicious! I got to meet the owner who was so warm and gave a history lesson of his bracelet and about life.
The energy was very lovely. The food was pretty good. The waiter ,Amir, was absolutely adorable and accommodating. I can't wait to go back for cocktails as I was there sobering up, I did not have alcohol. I also want to try the brunch, which I heard folks rave about. Long live BK Moon-I support Black owned businesses!
This is a Brooklyn Staple! Love the food and curated playlist. Consistently great quality of food. Just went yesterday and the hospitality was unmatched. I believe I met the owner, he was super pleasant and a gracious restauranteur. I will be going again in the near future!
One of the best places I've ever been! The prices are reasonable, the food is spectacular! I've never had a problem with service. The atmosphere is always changing with the times, and the menu offers something for everyone. If you looking for "FAST" food, then I would recommend McDonald's or Burger King. Brooklyn Moon is an experience and has been a staple in Fort Greene for over 10 years.
A guy next to me and my friend recommended the Honey BBQ Wings and he wasn't lying - so good! Seven large leg and thigh wings covered in sauce. The drinks were so tasty. We thought the price points were on par for the area. Ambience and decor was lovely. Definitely coming back for brunch or happy hour to try more of their menu. Also great to suggest for date night. Quality food for not too cheap and definitely not expensive and it's not too romantic.
This staff was incredibly accommodating and sweet! We were a fairly large group at peak hours and they made it work for us with no complaints. The food is amazing and the drinks were so good. I HIGHLY recommend you visit if you’re in the area.
Love, love, love this spot!!!! My personal favorite dish here is the Salmon salad ♥️♥️♥️ it can get a little crowded but it's to be expected being on Downtown Brooklyn's Fulton Ave strip...a must go place!! Perfect for date night or to just have lunch... beautiful plants adorn the front of this establishment giving it that back home island vibe your looking for
Great Jamaican and Caribbean food and nice drinks in a fun atmosphere. The owner is a really nice guy. This was my regular spot when I lived in the area. Curried potatoes, spicy fries, collards and some great chicken and fish entrees.
This little place has so much to offer. It has a bar but there are tables as well. It has a great atmosphere in a good location and staff members are friendly. The food is delectable and the prices are reasonable. Ask about their specials and you will want to return for more.
The food was AMAZING. I never write reviews but I had to for this restaurant because everything was so good. I ordered the curry mussels, mac n cheese, and the sweet potato pie a la mode. Delicious!!! I'm still thinking about the mussels. The drinks are good as well. Overall, it was a great experience and the live music put the cherry on top. Will be returning when I come back in town.
Quick, Friendly service and super affordable. I stopped into this cafe midday with coworkers for lunch. The lunch special was very tasty for the price. I was little confused that all the entrees were sandwiches so, I had to deconstruct my meal before digging in. Nonetheless it was still delicious. If you're searching for a chill atmosphere for lunch under $6 - look no further. I will definitely return when in the area again!
The food here is excellent. Best Jerk wings I've ever had. The location is great just around the corner and a minutes walk from the Barclays. The wait staff is exceptional. I really feel they care and want to provide you with the best service. A small intimate place that I highly recommend.
I had a great experience at Brooklyn Moon this past Sunday. Not only was the price affordable for the buffet that I had, but the atmosphere and vibe of the restaurant was so pleasant. The staff was warm and friendly! I felt like I was chilling in my living room with friends eating a wonderful meal. My buffet consisted of eggs, bacon, French toast, Mac & cheese, jerk chicken, fried fish, grilled veggies, and sweet potatoes. Every item of the meal was so delicious! This will easily become my new hang out spot to dine with friends!
My cousin dragged me out on Corona scared week out to eat at this establishment on a Friday night.. Walked in the place has a vintage feel. Complimented by Caribbean music calmly bouncing in the background. Greeted and seated immediately. It’s Like the host and waitress were in a relay race the way they passed us along. I got the crab cakes, Curry muscles, Calamari to start off. I must say the curry sauce was hand made by the Indian Gods.. well cooked and perfect texture on the muscles. Crab cakes was also good when complimented with the veggies and lemons slices provided. Calamari was also good, batter wasn’t annoying or under cooked. I ordered the spicy shrimp & Mac n cheese for dinner. Best choice of my life.. The Mac n cheese was almost as good as grandmas. So much flavor but yet not salty. I literally cut a piece of shrimp and accompanied it with some Mac n cheese, it was like Sex in your mouth. Overall from walk in to walk out it was a good experience and I would 100% refer this restaurant to friends, family and associates. Thanks for the experience. Quick side bar.. The owner came by, said hi & gave a small convo. He didn’t have to but it added to the experience.
We stopped here for a quick bite and a cocktail. The staff was pleasant and attentive offering a few recommendations. It's Valentine's so a lot of couples but also some groups of girlfriends. Music was on point but not overwhelming at all, you can enjoy a conversation without yelling. The honey wings and jerk wings was a delight, the Sea Water was everything! I'm so happy right now after 1 and a half glasses. Definitely a cute spot for a low key night. I will definitely be back.
Met some friends at Brooklyn moon for a going away get-together. I remember we had tasty drinks there and the staff was accommodating. Merry Some beautiful people were there that night. I'd go back.
Good food, good bar, inexpensive bar drinks, great atmosphere. Mike the owner busy guy but excellent owner. Various contemporary sounds, also HUGE screen TV. Quaintly cozy.
The kitchen closes pretty early (12:30AM), but the food is good, beers on tap and a decent drink selection. You can even catch a live band here at times.
Where black ppl meet! I've never had a bad time here. I always feel like I'm on a 2000's black cinema movie like the brothers or brown sugar.very cozy friendly atmosphere.
I ordered fried Whiting fish and mac-n-cheese. It was delicious, though my mac was a lil dry. The service was mostly good, except for it was shared between 3 diff employees, which was a lil complicated at times. Happy hour drink specials til 8! My margs were strong too, only $4! There's even live jazz on Wednesday nights. It's deeefinitely one of my favorites in Brooklyn! 💕
I had the mac n cheese with jerk wings (spicy). Drinks quenching. Live band. Decent ambience. They lost a star due to service not so speedy. But the staff was nice.
Staff is friendly. The Jazz music sets are entertaining. The food is tasty. Overall climate: Comfortable and positive vibes. Great after work spot to go after a hectic work day. Check it out folks!
The environment is great and so is the food and drinks. I've gone for brunch and it wasn't THAT great (compared to other places) - their evening service was A LOT better (I've always gone in the evenings. And if I've gone earlier, I never ordered from brunch except for that one time). I'll have to go again for brunch for a better review. The cajun fries, muscles, fish and burger are always a go-to meal. Their signature drinks (each and everyone of them) are delicious: warning, DON'T start off with their SeaWater - if you're a light drinker, all you need is one or to share it! Lol. Can't wait to go back again
I like this place for brunch. They have $1 mimosas in several flavors (Guava's my go to) Food wise... they have great days and so so days. But for the dollar mimosas and other tasty libations it tends to be worth the coin flip.
Food is very good. Drinks are good. Happy hour drink prices are GREAT. That wait though... expect to wait 20 minutes. Also, this place is kinda small and can get crowded so sometimes you can't hear yourself think, much less the person/people you are trying to talk to. Staff is nice tho. Service is very slow when busy but I still liked the vibe. I recommend the Whiting fish, collards, and veggie medley. Also mac n cheese and yams are cool but if you're from the south, then you will note the difference. Also, the mango margaritas are fire. $5 at happy hour. 🍹🍸🙂💕
Chicken wings were tasty and their Drink Sea Water taste good. Them opening longer would have been great. Had to leave and find another place to go to. Bartender was great. Gave me water without me asking and his suggestion of the drink was on point. Small space for seating
The roasted veggies and live music were the best parts. I wasn't in love with the food, but I would come back. The tables are small, making the setting intimate, but I would definitely come back for those veggies and their happy hour. Kay be aware, the service can be a little slow. We waited a while for our drinks.
I really liked my experience. The Sea Breeze drink was very tasty and the waiter was very nice! I also tried their signature pies and it was absolutely delicious. I will be attending with my boyfriend later on this week! Can't wait☺️
The food used to be better. It's pretty hot in there. But it's still a cool place. Great happy hour.
Not spectacular. Not terrible. The long wait for food was helped by the nice hostess. The nice ambiance was dampened by the loud folks at the bar. It was just ok ...
Service was very slow. The curry potato wasn't the best! The Sea Breeze cocktail was very good!
Nice spot, decent drinks, food was ok. Think my expectation for wings was higher. Overall think I would have enjoyed it more if Id stayed for the entertainment. They were setting up for comedy.
I like Bk Moon but some of the waitresses need to chill a bit. Y'all a little too eager to pump drinks into people. Just a heads up.. you trying to make more sells doesn't equal a greater tip for you. It actually makes not want to order anything else and just leave you $2 and bounce. Like i said. Place is dope , drinks and great.
The space is nice. The service was great. Had the wings and mac and cheese. It was good, think if I'd stayed for the entertainment it would have improved my experience, they were setting up for comedy.
I had fish and waffles with cheese grits. The grits had absolutely no taste whatsoever, don't even bother ordering.Fish was amazing, waffles cold tasted like frozen waffles but it was okay. Guava & Mango mimosas were refreshing. Place is very tight if you have a group of 5+.
I'm not sure what happened but I use to love the food but I think they have a new chef. What's up with the gluten free menu. My entire family did not like the food. The barbeque chicken breast was horrible. The calamari is delicious. Please bring back the old menu!
drinks were nice every time I came here, food this trip I hated smh. My friend and I both ordered the fried whiting n YUCK! Overcooked. Her curry potatoes were bland n my Mac n cheese they need a new recipe. Food in the past was nothing like this. It was actually good. We ended up taking it to go and giving it to someone homeless in the subway. Idk if I will go back
Everyone says how great this place is but never how small it is. I waited over an hour for plantains and chicken wings. They offered a free non- alcoholic beverage and some sliced apples. They need to improve satisfying unhappy customers. The food was great when it finally came.
The food was amazing! We had jerk wings, boneless chicken and mac and cheese. Let me say that Mac was AMAZING!!! I met the owner a few nights prior and he was nice enough to make special accommodations for my friend and I. The food was amazing. He told us a few things about himself, and his genuine vibe made us want to come back with friends. However the service we experienced today sucked. We moved to an outside table since my friend had an outside drink. The waitresses put all of our order on a different empty table. They didn’t tell us that the food was there. I placed a to go orde and instead of bringing it to me, the waitress just told me where to find my food. As someone that works in the food industry, providing white glove service, this was unacceptable to me. And for a gratuity to be included when I get service like that, is really different.
Came here by accident when they were doing movie night. It was so cool to be there for showings of films from artists in the community, and the artists were actually at the restaurant and spoke to everyone. It’s a cool spot for the community. For food, the jerk chicken wings were good, but I really didn’t like my three tacos (I couldn’t even tell which one was chicken vs plantain). The fried fish was ok. I wouldn’t come back for the food.
Three stars is perfect for this spot . We came upon this restaurant by just walking around before a WNBA game and loved the black owned feel. It’s a black/Caribbean Restaurant and it certainly gives that vibe . We went during the summer and it was very hot , no air conditioning, it felt like we were on a island dining, I’ll say that lol. The food satisfied our hunger but wasn’t something I would recommend as a “go to” , but for a quick bite to eat then it’s perfect. The wings , cooked well, could use some wet condiments to occupy since they’re dry. Whiting was very good, salmon tacos was expected, Salmon was as expected & macaroni & cheese was dry . Margaritas (we didn’t get the Margs on happy hour) were weak but not the worst.
God awful place. Often below average food, ok wait staff and the kitchen staff look like escaped convicts who stare you down while you eat. Food often served on broken plates!!! Only locals and transplant townees like this spot. Been here a dozen times and it sucked every time.
Well i only had an Apple salad and a friut juice, which was good. However i wanted no ice in my juice and the waitress brought me back the glass of fruit juice not filled all the way up and when i inquired why not? She informed me the ice normally fills it up and will not fill it unless i order ice. I was livid. Did not tip as a result. But nice atmosphere, Dj played nice songs and still had a good time with my girlfriend, who tipped.
The food is amazing - really delicious and large portions. Great brunch drinks for only $1! However, the service was extremely lacking, especially for a place that automatically charges 18% for service. I had a drink spilled on me, and had to ask for water/refills most of my meal. I also asked to move to a table that was closer to an outlet, and though plenty of tables were open, during a slow day (~2:30pm on a Saturday) they did not allow it.
Food is not served fresh. They put whatever they want in their dishes and Expect you to eat whatever they offer. Stale food should not be given. Be careful what you put in your body. This place doesn’t care and will give you trash as a meal.
Yall just really lost it. The best food with a service that I never experienced before in my life. Me and my friend came in here about two weeks ago. Nobody greeted us or even said we be right with you when we walked in about 7-10 minutes after we sat ourselves down this guy comes to the table with two menus claiming he works there and put the menus down with a bag of weed. YES A BAG OF WEED. I proceed to ask him if he works there and he said yes so at his point I dont even know im just laughing. Then this other guy comes and tells us we have to get up we cant sit at a table for 4 when its just two of us. Now we all the way confused and he tells us to sit at a hightop table with one chair!!! Then him and my friend goes back and forward instead of handling it well he just starts arguing at this point I just asked him straight up if he was going to serve us or not. Then he says he is gonna get the owner that was working the kitchen fine get the owner. The owner passes by us two times but completely ignore us and yes I know you the owner because your picture is all over the internet. INSTED OF ACTING LIKE THE OWNER YOU ARE, dealing with a bad situation you just run into the kitchen. At this point we are cancelling our other because we were afraid somebody was going to spit in our food. It makes me really sad because I loved the drinks and the food here but I cant support a business that does not care about costumer service
Never again! A insect was floating in my watered down drink, the owner was very rude about it and the overall customer service experience was terrible. the food was just ok, not good enough to deal with the attitude
The bartender is very rude. They also put rat poison all over the restaurant to avoid having dogs come in. That is very unsanitary and extremely dangerous for my dog.
I have been coming here for 5 years and tonight was my worst experience! I had 3 ppl with me for the 1st time and the waitress took a very long time to come to our table and the food took an 1 hour to come. The waitress had an attitude!!!!! I ordered Calamari and all I got was batter, I ordered bbq wings and got bbq chicken breast.
Patron beware!!! My credit card number was stolen and used at this establishment with 2 transactions within seconds of one and other for over $300 dollars after the restaurants' regular hours of business. After reviewing their Yelp profile, I saw that there are other similar claims. In my opinion this was an INSIDE JOB. Called the owner and he hung up on me. I would not recommend using anything but cash or just finding another restaurant to go to that is not run by thieves.
The service was trash, the food was fried in old oil which made everything and I mean everything look over cooked and burnt, the servers were so slow that I got up and ordered my drink at the bar which was still slow(over 10 mins after I placed my order), the glassware still had lip residue from previous customers, just horrible, I will never go to Brooklyn Moon Cafe again. NOT AT ALL.
Was not impressed with the breakfast. Ordered a breakfast meal and only the eggs were served... no side, no hash... just the eggs. Big disappointment for me and my two out-of-town guests. I love eating my eggs with my side protein before they get cold. The server was great but the experience was not impressive. Eventually got the sides and beverage accommodations however I will not be returning.
I brought a friend from out of town to Brooklyn Moon as I had been there before and enjoyed the food and drinks. However, this time...not so much. There was only one waitress for the whole restaurant who barely spoke English, but just barely enough for correspond. It was disgustingly dirty (tables, chairs and bathroom) to the point where I felt like I would catch something. The food was also bad. I ordered grilled salmon salad and got lettuce with stewed something on top. I don't even know if it was salmon. When I said something to the waitress, she just said that's how it's made and walked away. Probably won't return.
Just left VERY disappointed. Don’t know where to start. But to make it short. Manager was not very nice after we had a food order that was not filled accurately. They also needed more wait staff. But we could have gotten over the service but not the lack of customer services. Seems like a neighbor spot. They must be use to it. I’m not.
Don’t risk having to wait almost 40 mins for food & being treated like you’re getting it for free. I went there w/ my daughter for dinner - there were abt eight people seated in the small restaurant but they still had trouble finding us a table. A woman graciously offered us her table. And then we waited. We waited twenty minutes until I went up and asked Camille, the bartender/manager what happened to our drinks. I was surprised to have to ask because our waitress actually came back ten minutes after we ordered & double checked what we wanted for drinks. Camille didn’t apologize for the wait. In fact, she matter-of-factly told us their system was “down” & our drinks would be out shortly. So we waited, again. Ten minutes later we got two drinks - the wrong ones. Again, no apology when Camille noticed our look of confusion & promptly took the drinks from us and served it to a nearby table. Hope they enjoyed their second hand drinks 😳 How long has it been now? Forty minutes? No water refill. No appetizers. No explanations. No apology. No asking if we’re okay. No food. PERIODT. No do we want another drink? Nothing. When I asked Camille did she feel anything was wrong with this situation she told me no, with complete seriousness. She said thirty minutes was a normal wait for food. When I told her we hadn’t even been asked if we wanted a refill on our drinks she said rudely, So what do you want? We went back and forth with her denying responsibility and my asking her did she think she could handle this better. When I started talking abt her rudeness, she cemented my opinion by walking off. Ten minutes later they tried to bring us all the food at once, dinner first and the apps bringing up the rear. Having given Camille ample time to at the very least apologize and make this situation right, and after observing her inability to admit she was wrong, I dropped $5 on the table for the drinks, one of which we hadn’t even consumed, and left. Someone actually had the nerve to come out and tell us we hadn’t paid for our food. I asked him, What food? Restaurants need to understand people go out for good food AND good service. This is New York, no one is going to put up with your nasty attitude for some fried fish.
After enjoying Dance Afrika....My experience in Brooklyn Moon this past Sunday was absolutely disgusting.... I witnessed the restaurant owner, Mike Thompson be extremely disrespectful to a group of female customers.. He yelled at them for not ordering dinner...and dropped their food on the table... I was so annoyed 😠. His energy was awful... My friends and I left along with several others without ordering. I don’t recommend it nor will I be returning. T. Moore
Just went to a birthday party. At the end of the meal the owner tacked on a "disruption fee" for the party. Can't make this stuff up. After waiting 45 plus minutes to get our food, we were told that that's the way it is. Don't go. Save yourselves.
I use to come here all the time before I had my baby in 2021. Food and drinks was great. Now tuh . I came here tonight thinking I was gonna have soul food nah they switched there entire menu. My food took 25mins to cook a grilled salmon and curry potatoes that was fried not grilled. The food has no taste at all. I asked the waiter/ bartender for a amaretto sour which contains 2 drinks mixture. amaretto mix and sour mix my drink completely was wrong and sis put some type of orange juice something in which made the drink taste like the tangy orange drink with Hennessy. This spot use to be great I guess it now a spot for the old ppl to hang out and drink cuz I was clearly out of place. He needs a real bartender and get his old cook back. The young lady doesn’t know how for make drinks and idk if maybe she was intimidated by my looks by this place is less then 400sq ft it shouldn’t be a situation where u asked the waiter/ bartender for something and she doesn’t bring it or u literally watching a person who just sat down food come in 8 mins. We while urs take 25 mins. I asked for another drink she ok never came back once she pass me again I was like bill please. They lost a customer I will never go back.
Disappointing as much as I have went in the past the food was way better. Tonight the food was very rushed and it seemed like our side dishes were scraped from the pot and sprinkled with paprika or cayenne pepper for presentation. Not happy with the meal. I'm not sure if they changed chefs but in the past they always were on point instead of this time. The jerk chicken even taste plain with no jerk sauce provided.
Bro first of allllll there's Noooooooooo AC, we were sitting at a table in the back and it was beyond like sitting in hell. Comfortably it can most likely fit 30 people but they push the limit to having you wait for a table that's about as small as a serving plate. The food is good and the mimosas are too. I don't suggest the cheese grits since its more of a cheese sauce than grits. But it's too hot to enjoy the atmosphere. Oh and the waitress gave us tap water in a bottle that was hot and when we asked for ice she brought us a cup for four of us to share. Also the waitress had no explanation of where or who was owner so we assumed the restaurant ran it's self. The best part about it was this Indian kid who we assumed was the manger. I didn't get his name but he was the best thing that place had to offer besides the bill. I don't suggest this place. Oh yeah and the hot sauce was watered down too.
Lets talk about how this place changed DRASTICALLY. Went there a few years ago, food and service was great. NOW, I dont know what happened but place is not appealing AT ALL. First, the hostess was the waiter and bartender too. You have to get his attention at the bar to get seated. He smelled musty and took forever to service me. The tables and chairs were dirty and slanted. Had to ask for tissue to clean the table and chairs myself. Ordered my food. Only one order came. When I asked the waiter/hostess/bartender about the 2nd order he replies I didnt hear you order another meal. So guess I was supposed to share my meal with my man. Not only did I have to wait for my order, he never gave us utensils for the first meal. We had to start eating the first meal with our fingers. 2nd order finally came and was horrible. Mac n Cheese was dry and sprinkled with paprika. Roasted vegetables were GREASY. The jerk chicken wings and fried chicken were so dry I could barely break the meat. Drinks were watered down. A couple next to me received their food and had the same look we had. SMH. Dont waste your time going there. Horrible, horrible. Will never go again!
Bartender is super rude, seems like she never wants to be there. Doesn’t smile, doesn’t approach you or even ask you if you want to order. You have to be the one to somehow get a hold of her attention and even if the bar isn’t packed it may still take some time. The food is just decent. A roach crawled across the bar while I was sitting at it during my most recent visit and that was the last straw for me. I’ve been here multiple times and I’ve dealt with the bartenders attitudes and the cold servers who place the dish in ur hands instead of on the table for u. The roach was the last straw for me.. pretty gross.
I've been coming to this place for years. I was sad that tonight the dish I ALWAYS get was way smaller in portion 😩but the price was hiked way and the service was terrible. I lovee this place so much, I bring everyone here!!! But I'm getting tired of the attitude from the bartenders! Come on Brooklyn Moon, don't forget your tribe!! We love you!!
The waitress was worried about conversing with someone at the next table and forgot out drink order. Then when we got our order in we waited over 40 minutes for simple brunch plates. 3 tables that got seated after us got served before us. Then when we got our food my order was burnt to a crisp. I honestly do the think the server would have eaten anything like that herself. We come here all the time but after today we will not be returning. It wasn't crowded at all. I'm curious as to know why this particular visit became so unpleasant for us.
Absolutely terrible experience in every single possible way! The server was terrible and disrespectful we requested the owner he rolled his eyes and sad "I'm just the cook" we had to seat our selves! we went to bar and was told from the bartender that I'm just the bartender I asked if it was a restaurant or just a bar since there is zero hostess or customer service after requesting the manager we were told oh hes the cook he cant talk! Wow how is this place still in business???? Really? #Neveragain
