I have never been in to the store but I ordered from here almost once a week. Always gyozas and a poke bowl and it is the best poke bowl I have ever had. One time they left off one of my proteins but even still I don’t stop ordering. Everything is fresh and the flavor is so good, especially of the spicy tuna.

Came here for dinner during pride and it’s DELICIOUS. Service was nice and quick, place is clean and pretty spacious especially during such a big event, and the food is well worth the price. I got the signature Salmon Poke and I recommend it.

This place is amazing. Very affordable, fresh and healthy food. Myself and fellas came here after a 3.5 mile jog along the pier and then a 13 mile bike ride along side of the water. What a great lunch after an amazing workout. I will be returning soon :)

I never really review places but I have to this time. Best priced poke in the city that I’ve had, free miso soup, great rewards program (after 10 ticket stamps you get a free bowl with 3-proteins that can have avocado), open late, fresh even shortly before closing, 1 minute away from Washington Square Park and the West 4th subway stop, cozy decor, always clean. Last but definitely not least, they have SUCH a friendly staff. Could not recommend Poke Rice more highly!!

My favorite Poke place in the city, a great variety of toppings and they always put just enough sauce. I never feel like I am jipped on portion, it is always a good amount of everything - including the protein!

This has fast become my favorite healthy lunch option. At first I was nervous about the weird foreign foods, but once I went in and see the toppings I recognized most from sushi restaurants. The pleasant server would describe the ones I didn't recognize. My go to lately? Two types of raw fish, Salmon and Tuna, brown rice and all the veggies you want, including seaweed salad and masago (fish eggs). Delicious and nutritious! Plus they gave me a free miso soup!

I always love the food here and the amount you get for the price is fantastic. You can add as many toppings as you want (and the have tons of toppings) all without extra charge unless you choose to add fresh avocado which is still only $1.00 extra.

Awesome place! Very fresh, very clean, and super affordable for what you get. Unlimited toppings at no charge (with the exception of poached egg or avocado for a dollar, which is completely understandable). Service is friendly and efficient as well. Don't think much about with this place. Like Nike, "just do it"!

As many times as I've eaten here over the years and forgot to post my original poke bowl place. Which, of course, I still eat their. Always fresh ingredients and good people working there. This is always my go-to poke bowl and will never change. Mixed greens, brown rice, 3 orders of chicken, cucumbers, kale, crab salad, seaweed, tomatoes, mushrooms, spicy mayo, sesame seed, cilantro and garlic chips. Sometimes avocado, every now and then. Try one. Trust me, you will like it.

Food is good, a lot of beverage options, and the interior is just perfect. I ordered spicy salmon poke. As a pokeholic, the sensation of “poke bowl” actually lies on just regular salmon. As an Asian, the “spicy”-ness actually just feels underrated, but it’s friendly for non-Asians. You can find a lot of beverage on the side corner: Ito en (unsweetened green tea, which is my favorite), uncarbonated Calpico, some sodas, and mineral water. The inside ambiance just feels right and leverage your appetite to enjoy typical poke bowl restaurant. Located near the intersection, you can always see people passing by. More importantly, it’s just 2-min walk from subway station.

My first time here, this place is right around the corner from where I work. I gave them a call to ask about different options and the person who picked up was really helpful and kind. When I walked in to place an order in person, everything was clean and well maintained. All the ingredients looked fresh and tasted amazing. I had a spicy tuna poke with a side of yellowtail and OMG! Haven't had a good poke in a long time so this felt. I am definitely coming back here to try other items! It is a must visit restaurant whenever you find yourself in West Village!!

Great spot in WaSquaPa area for some Poke! Prices are fair and portions are good, I was very full after eating the Hawaiian Classic. There's seating for about 12 people, so maybe you would have to take it out to go on a busy day. Good thing the park is closeby and for NYU kids there are plenty of places to take it.

Really great food selections and very healthy. My first time there and I loved it. It's kind of like chipotle style ordering going down the line of food and toppings but very healthy options. Great place for a quick, healthy and affordable meal, grabbed a salad bowl with rice spicy tuna, salmon and other goodies. The place was very clean and the service is quick and kind and there is a big selection of toppings and addons highly recommended, will definitely go back when I'm back in the village.

Good: fresh, healthy poke ball at a reasonable price. Choose zuccchini noodle option if you are on a diet. + fast wifi and power outlets to recharge your phone while eating. Bad: no restroom! Seriously! Poke ball promotes your fast bowel movement, so you have to find other restrooms nearby quickly.

I had a few of the poke bowls through mealpal. Had the spicy tuna, chicken, and tofu one. They have tendency to put a bit too much rice, which gives heavy food coma. Chicken bowl is okay, kinda rough texture. The tuna and tofu are decent.

Good value for the price. Easy to order and staff is nice. Ordered two protein (double salmon) and added avocado for an extra dollar.

Biggest downside was the portion size. Got the 3 protein bowl. Less than 1/4 cup of each protein added, and they didn't even fill my bowl. They missed an add-on that I selected. One of the proteins tasted way less fresh than the other two. I've been to better poke places nearby in East village.

Fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. I love that the hot oil is actually hot, but doesn't kill the flavors. Minus 1 star for the staff on the line--they could use some attitude adjustments. Maybe turn down the music so people don't have to scream their orders. The cashier was very friendly and picked up the slack. Will be back!

Great, fresh poke. The fish was of excellent quality. It comes with free miso soup, which was also very tasty. Make sure you bring some cash, as you can pay with card, but their credit card machine won't allow you to tip! Also, they have excellent interior design.

The food was fresh with a nice variety of toppings, and the staff was friendly. However, I felt a bit rushed while ordering. The atmosphere was just okay — the music was loud and the genre didn’t really fit the setting, which made it hard to have a conversation. The biggest downside was that there’s no restroom available, which is a huge inconvenience.

This used to be the best poke spot but recently I’ve seen changes that will not have me returning. Prices have changed and I understand that, but quality has changed too - that I have a problem with. They add crunch to their temaki, they are skimping on the add ins and I can see a difference even in coming in with less people. Unfortunate because I always recommended this place. Not anymore.

The food was good, but customers aren't granted access to the bathroom. How is anyone supposed to visit New York without needing to return to their hotel every couple of hours? Places like this are part of the problem, I feel.

A clean and well-lit atmosphere, but fairly steep priced poke will likely not have me returning. There are other locations in proximity to this spot that serve more food, of better quality and with more customization, for less. That being said, I liked the combination of brown rice, which was perfectly cooked, with the creaminess of the sriracha mayo and the sushi-grade salmon. The pineapples, for me, were a miss - I would've loved some imitation crabmeat salad instead. So for the price, not really worth it. There are far better lunch deals in the Village.

The employees that work here are incredibly rude. I live nearby, and I would love to come purchase the $16 poke more frequently if the employees didn’t make ordering so unbearable. So mean. For no reason.

The staff refused to serve tap water (it is illegal to do so in NYC). When we showed them this, they started swearing at us.

Miserable woman making bowls, because we forgot to mention no pineapple. Everything from then on was downhill. For a mediocre poke bowl. And then ripped us off miso soups when we asked if everything was in the bag (she said yes, it obviously wasn’t.) When we went back to get the soup, she asked “how many?”, not realizing we should have gotten 3. She gave us one. Spend your money literally anywhere else in New York. They clearly don’t value their customers here.

Did not care for this place. Their attitude towards us as soon as we walked in should’ve been my sign not to order. We are from out of town and just wanted a quick bite before we hit the road. Their food is nothing special and very bland.

Worst place to get a delivery. The whole bowl is 90% zucchini noodles, 5% of air and another 5 % of whisper of salmon and tuna. Just a whisper. I recommend you going into the store and stare so you get what you need.

I visited you twice, and both times I placed a pick-up order over the phone, and the person who attended me was neither pleasant nor polite, but that wasn't even the biggest issue. The first time, I ordered a salmon poke bowl, which was good, but I asked for sauces over the phone, and when I checked, they weren't in the bag. When I noticed, I asked the girl, and she literally threw them into my bag, which was already in my hand, instead of handing them to me or placing them in the bag in a less aggressive way. The second time, I ordered a spicy tuna one, which literally tasted like vomit. I ordered for myself and a friend, and we both felt a sour taste; we couldn't eat it. I'm really disappointed because I work nearby, and this would have been a place I'd recommend to all my coworkers as it's close, and we usually enjoy this dish, but unfortunately, I won't be coming back. TERRIBLE service and SOUR food.

Worst service I’ve ever experienced. So many better places nearby, do yourself a favor and avoid the angry staff and small portions at poke rice. Small scoops of raw fish make you leave this place hungry still. I gave this place 3 chances, each time was another let down. Oh not to mention the ac in the place seems to be broken for over a month now. Raw fish doesn’t do well in a warm environment.

Do not eat here if you need to eat gluten free food. I informed the staff before I ordered that I needed my order to be gluten free, they confirmed it was. I asked 2 more times as I spotted that the sauce was not marked as safe to eat I was told it was, it was just the board that was wrong. I am currently very unwell.

I visited PokeRice hoping for a pleasant dining experience and left deeply disappointed. Despite ordering and paying for my food, I was flatly denied access to the restroom even just to wash my hands before eating. In a time when hygiene and basic human decency should be non-negotiable, being refused a restroom, not for leisure, but for something as essential as handwashing, felt shockingly inconsiderate. It wasn’t just uncomfortable; it was unsanitary. I genuinely wanted to enjoy my meal, but how can one feel welcomed or safe in a place that doesn’t offer the most basic accommodation to its paying customers? It’s disheartening to see a business neglect such a simple, humane aspect of service. Good food should never come at the cost of dignity or cleanliness.
