Opinions de Smile To Go Albee Square
Great spot for picking up coffee, soups or sandwiches. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Be advised that this a high quality, busy, but tiny place. Seating is not really an option here.
Great little lunch spot in SoHo! Unassuming from outside, it has great, healthier food options and excellent coffee. I pop in here almost every time I’m in the area.
Wonderful little spot offering sandwich and salad freshly made and with prime ingredients. Coffee is good and they even have a quite real Italian espresso. Premises are little but cozy. Staff is fast, efficient and always with a smile. With about 11$ you can have a choice of three mains and a large bowl. Loved the environment friendly attitude. Definitely a place to visit
Great spot! Healthy food, tasty, and incredibly warm staff. The spot is a little tight, so if your here during the lunch rush hour it might be hard to sit. The prices are a tad expensive , but well worth it.

Shoutout to the staff, especially my boy Lazarus and one of the woman workers here, I unfortunately never got her name, but the good energy they provided is what keeps the place going, as well as the cooks in the back, doing their thing, cheffing it up. Good food, good people, and good atmosphere. All you can ask for in a place like this. 🤙🏽
Delicious bowls, the chicken is some of the best. The staff is very friendly and accomodating.
I love this place so much! The food is delicious, fresh and healthy. My favorite is the breakfast burrito and the salads are excellent. The place has a great vibe and you can tell that the food is made with love. I also really like that they compost and operate their business with environmental integrity. Finally, don’t leave without a cookie or a chocolate chip oat ball!

Cafe in Soho. Very small spot for breakfast and lunch. There’s choice of fresh backed pastries, breakfast sandwiches, fresh fruits, granola and good coffee. For lunch you can treat yourself for fresh sandwich and salad. Hot food also available.
Even though it's a to go place it looks cozy. Wide variety. Decent drip coffee.

Nice flavours for the turkey and cheddar sandwich. But really small for the price. $7 for not even a decently sized half sandwich… Pretty steep. Also matcha lemonade was kinda gross. Im sure their other drinks are better
I was away for a couple of weeks and was shocked to discover that in that time the AC had not been repaired. The staff is amazing and I am concerned about their wellbeing. How are the chefs and the staff supposed to work under those conditions? Please please please address this issue! Fix the AC! Thank you.
Usually love coming in here. But there’s been no AC for weeks. It’s unbearable with all the heat from the kitchen. They’ve been leaving the door open which helps. But now there’s flies. Don’t think I’ll come back until they can cool things down.

used to be our go to lunch in the office but in the last couple months portions have gotten tiny and very inconsistent. I’ve had lattes not filled even close to the top of the cup and the espresso is burnt a lot of the time. staff also always seems to be in a mad mood. disappointing because the food is usually good and fresh but just can’t justify the price anymore :(
The food is pretty good, no seating so very express. You clean up after yourself after getting food from counter. Plates average around $20. I’m only leaving this review because they used to offer free water w cups at a little station but they recently took it away and I’m not sure if they just got lazy or greedy, but wont be tipping from now on until they bring this back.
The cashier was not courteous He seemed to rush me in placing my order , and lacked enthusiasm in his politeness. After I paid he motioned the receipt to me and proceeded to begin servicing the guest behind me with enthusiasm and politeness. Totally different approach than with his service towards me Several of the guests also made mefeel uncomfortabl, and I could not enjoy me coffee due to an atmosphere that I found to be uncomfortable, unwelcoming and unsafe. The fact that other customers as well as the employee felt very unsafe to me and it was disruptive to my day because when I I entered the coffee shop, didn't expect to be treated that way. Loud music Not a good environment if you are looking for privacy with a cup of coffee while you ise your computer for a zoom business call ,
Came here all the time and loved it - but the staff has gotten very rude and the portions are extremely flimsy given how expensive it is. Done.

I found a wire in the Moroccan lamb meatballs while I was finishing my lunch a couple of weeks ago. I stopped by and let the staff know, a manager told me he’d get in contact with me but still haven’t heard back. Disappointed and grossed out.

i ordered a ham and gruyère sandwich at 1pm and came for pickup at 3 .. when i arrived they said they said they ran out of my ham sandwiches but i could pick another kind if i liked (none which appealed to me). they happened to have half of a ham sandwich so i took that and asked for a refund for the other half. but the other half that should of been mine was sold to someone else.. im sorry but that’s just bizarre ?? this business is responsible for letting me know if they dont have what i ordered before i arrive, you’d think that’s common sense. nobody apologized for this ridiculous service and im starving for the other half of my sandwich as i write this review on my lunchbreak.
I recently visited this cafe that left a terrible taste in my mouth - and it wasn't just because of the bland food. The staff were incredibly rude and unfriendly, making me feel unwelcome from the moment I stepped through the door. To make matters worse, the food was both overpriced and lacking in flavor. I ordered a bunch of the veggie sides and salads that sounded promising on the menu, but it was incredibly disappointing when it arrived. The food was dry and stale, and the mixes were bland and unseasoned. To add insult to injury, the portion sizes were incredibly small - I was left feeling hungry and unsatisfied even after finishing my meal. Considering the high prices, I would have expected at least a decent-sized portion, but it seemed like the cafe was cutting corners wherever they could. Overall, my experience at this cafe was terrible. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone - the combination of rude staff, overpriced food, and small portion sizes make it a place to avoid at all costs. Save your money and your time, and look for a cafe that actually cares about their customers and their food.
I used to love Smile to Go for their great foods and sweet workers, but I avoid it now for the lack of A/C and ventilation. This has been potentially the hottest summer we’ve had, and the temperature in Smile is close to insufferable. Those poor workers, that feels illegal. I hope they fix it soon and take care of their employees.
Love, love, LOVE the employees that work here and the service they provide! However, I've been refusing to come in as of late because of the poor working conditions provided for them: no AC, despite multiple complaints to the city government? Breaks few and far between? Employees suffering from overheating, heat stroke, and more? No thank you. I won't be supporting that.
