Best pasta we’ve had in Italy. Interior was so nice and cozy, and the staff were so friendly, add to that the open kitchen and the owner smiling and serving delicious fresh pasta. Would definitely recommend eating here for a lovely experience!

We were lucky to get a table without reservation here, the place is crazy busy and its easy to see why! Everything looks to be made fresh with an open kitchen and incredible atmosphere. Couldn't reccomend the place more, food was great, staff were really friendly and attentive even when it was as busy as it was.

Cozy restaurant with fresh pasta dishes, accommodating and friendly staff. The spaghetti is amazing but requires longer cook time because it is thicker than typical pasta. The burrata is delicious and the tiramisu is heavenly.

An amazing lunch in a converted cellar. We came in January, an off-peak season when most restaurants are closed in Alberobello following a recommendation by a local owner of a souvenir shop we visited. What an excellent recommendation! They had an open concept kitchen where we could see the chef prepare our dishes. The food was fresh and tasty and service was great. Also child-friendly - we saw many families with their young children dining here.

Beautiful meal in a gorgeous setting. We walked up without a booking, so sat inside, but this was ideal as we could see the chef in action managing his tiny kitchen and the team. In hindsight, we would have ordered the meat dishes, lamb especially, which was cut and cooked fresh to order. We ate two pasta dishes and the broad bean and chicory dish, plus the homemade focaccia. Attentive, but not overbearing service too. Will go back.

We had lunch at this restaurant today and it was amazing. Their dishes are truly delicious. Pasta of the day and spaghetti special that takes about 25 min to prepare is absolutely great. Steak is also amazing. Service is very accommodating and kind. Its not a big restaurant so we had to wait a bit but it was worth it. Its in the heart of Alberobello..

Complessivamente un buon punto di ristorazione. Attività avviata oltre trent’anni fa, oggi gestita dalla seconda generazione. Difficile trovare posto, anche a causa dei pochi coperti (una ventina, anche se in estate si aggiungono altri sei tavoli all’esterno). Cucina a vista e sala posizionati al piano seminterrato (“la cantina”, appunto). Prodotti di qualità e cucina prevalentemente locale e non eccessivamente ricercata, decisamente orientata su piatti di carne. Servizio tutto sommato positivo, nei tempi e nelle attenzioni al cliente. La cantina è dedicata esclusivamente a vini locali. Prezzi un po’ elevati.

Cibo buonissimo, né vale assolutamente la pena, la cucina è ha vista con lo chef che ti prepara tutto come se fosse a casa tua... nota negativa: nel trio latticini non c'erano quelli indicati, sono stati comunque gradevoli ma non ce li siamo goduti a causa dell'incoerenza con ciò scritto sul menù. Questa è una disattenzione che non può esistere in un locale. Per il resto davvero eccellente, ve lo consiglio!!! Dimenticavo, un pochetto caro...

Un piccolo ristorante con una grande storia di famiglia. Cibo molto buono con materie prime fresche e genuine. I piatti rappresentano la cucina locale pugliese, curati con tanta passione. E poi le percoche sciroppate, di una golosità unica e I dolci fantastici, tutto preparato con cucina a vista. Ottimo il servizio e l'ambiente "voltato".

Cibo da trattoria con piatti locali e ben eseguiti. Dispiace veramente tanto per il servizio, i camerieri sono sì professionali, ma si sono persi un primo piatto e da lì la situazione è peggiorata. Abbiamo aspettato fra l’antipasto ed il primo 45min, abbiamo aspettato tutti l’ultimo piatto perso 20min (e non 2 minuti come indicato dal cameriere, meglio essere sinceri in questi casi…). Abbiamo chiesto dei secondi, per cercare di recuperare il sorriso. La costata era chiesta ben cotta, è arrivata poco cotta con il dispiacere di chiedere nuovamente al cameriere di riportarla indietro per cuocerla ancora (nel frattempo anche qui attesa dei commensali per aspettare che tutti avessero il loro piatto). Il cibo merita, il prezzo è nella norma, peccato al servizio distratto.

There are some very good and some stuff which we think needs some improvement😇. We came here to ask for table for 10 people, we understand we need to wait, that was no problem, they told us to come back in 10-20mins. At the end we waited around 40 minutes, maybe even more, before they set us at the table. Food was OK, we ordered some orriechiette with tomato sauce and veal and gorgonzola cheese. I haven't seen piece of veal in my meal. That was 14€. Without cheese this meal is 12€. Primo giorno meal was the best which arrived at our table, that was some delicious veggies. Other meal was lamb skewer, price 16€. It was OK, but depends how lucky you are, one guy got better meat other got more grease. There is also mix skewer and that was OK. We wish they serve regular home made pommes frites instead of chips (6€). Home bianco wine was great and we can recommebd it. At the end dessert tiramisu and cake pasticcioto, thah was 5/5. So place is good, maybe to hype about it.

Went to Ristorante La Cantina in Alberobello for lunch without a reservation. They asked us to come back around 2:30, so we did, and ended up waiting about 20 minutes for the staff to clear and set up the tables. It was a slow process since they seemed to spend more time chatting than working. The food was just okay. The orecchiette with ragù was good, but the piece of beef was awful — full of gristle, as you can see in the photos. The potatoes were excellent, though. As for dessert we had the smallest portion of panna cotta I’ve ever seen, honestly kind of funny. Overall, a bit disappointing considering the hype

I piatti non hanno superato le mie aspettative, ad eccezione della carne, il cui sapore era semplicemente incredibile. Anche il vino, sia bianco che rosso, era molto buono. Un ringraziamento speciale va al servizio eccezionale del ristorante, che mi ha lasciato un'ottima impressione.

We were very happy to get a table at lunchtime, anywhere with a decent rating was full. Our food was tasty but the portion sizes were stingy considering the price. We share an antipasto, the burratina was tiny as described, my pasta was good but again not filling. My husband’s pork was again tasty but the fried potatoes were overpriced. The cover charge of €3.50 each for some very dry bread, which we didn’t eat was excessive. We shared a large bottle of fizzy water, the espressos were €2 for a thimble of coffee. La Cantina is a small restaurant and Alberobello is very touristy but €70 is steep, when you leave hungry.

If you have plenty of time for lunch, this place is fine, food was not bad. But if not, forget it. After we sat down, it took 20 minutes before anyone even came to take our order. Then another 20 minutes for the starter, and another 20 just for a pasta. In total, we waited at least 40 minutes to finally eat, without even having to queue. They really need to hire more staff in the kitchen or for service. Overall, that makes the dining experience a bit disappointing.

Siamo entrati,salutando ,chiedendo la possibilità di usufruire del bagno per una bambina di 4 anni. Che ci é stata negata malamente ,informandoci che i bagni pubblici erano più avanti. Da turisti non potevamo saperlo ma ci sono modi e modi di porsi quando si lavora con il pubblico Vergognateviiiiii

Il piatto principale di maiale non era ben cotto. Successivamente ho avuto una forte nausea e diarrea, e sono stato/a a letto per due giorni interi. Quando ho mangiato il maiale, l’interno era di un rosa chiaro e per un attimo mi sono sentitoa preoccupation. Worst experience in Europe.
