Exceeded my expectations!! I wanted to locate a spot that had great atmosphere, great food, and great service! Wow, Mission Wine knocked it out of the park. I took my GF for valentines day. The menu was fabulous.... she had the duck (cooked to perfection by the way) and I had the steak. Something that really stuck out, was the Pinon Bisque. This was genius!! Great creation. I'm not normally one for soups, but this hit the spot. Beyond the food was the atmosphere. It was classy but yet I didn't feel uncomfortable. Business casual. An awesome place to take someone out. We had one of the best valentines. We will return.
OH MY GOD!!!! I WISH I HAD THIS PLACE SOONER!!! Alright now that I have your attention really do wish I had. The pure unadulterated kindness, compassion and understanding i recieved after entering this establishment only to use the restroom as I have some issues I can no longer control but enough of that. Upon entering they as in every employee present in unison pointed in the direction of the restroom. Upon exiting the restaurant I decided I wanted to offer them a positive review and one that is still honest so I asked my amazing wife to dinner and came back in the service was absolutely excellent and was only matched by the quality of the food I chose the green chili smashburger and as any one knows I am the ultimate in and out fan I didn't think anything could ever compare to my beloved double double. But hell I was wrong that burger was on point served with some fries. The other item ordered by my lovely wife was a caramelized on smash burger my wife however is one of those that picks her food apart. This was the exception she devoured the first part of her burger and gave me the other half to try. It was absolutely divine!! It was served with battered onion chips and a ranch sauce. Folks I must say I never in a million years would have imagined saying anything was better the the good old French fry but once again I was wrong they were phenomenal and finally the cheesecake was absolutely perfect. Once again my words fail to do this justice it deserves.
**Brunch hours: 10:30am-3pm** (we struggled to find the hours) The vibe was awesome, lots of cute Christmas decorations up right now. The brunch was great—red chile candied bacon is a MUST. Really enjoyed the drinks as well, mimosas and the midnight julep. Service was excellent!! 10/10 Sunday brunch spot.
I thoroughly enjoyed my evening at Mission Winery with some friends. The atmosphere is elegant with comfortable booths and tables with chairs. It was a warm day and cool evening so the temperature was perfect with the roll-up garage windows. We started with the lobster deviled eggs (so good!) and duck wings (sesame Asian sauce was really nice). For our main course my friend ordered ribs which he said were great, another ordered the lobster rolls, and I ordered the catch of the day, blackened salmon on a bed of spinach. My only complaint is the salmon wasn't quite as I hoped, medium rare, but they were very accommodating and brought a new dish quickly. All turned out delicious with lovely sides and sauces.
A friend treated me to Mission Wine and Dine for my birthday on June 15th, and it ended up being such a lovely and memorable experience! We chose the spot last minute after realizing our original choice wouldn’t open for another hour—and I’m so glad we did. Even without a reservation, the host kindly seated us at a high-top table right in front of the band. To our surprise, it was their first time having live music, and the band was *fantastic*! It really added to the ambiance of the winery, and I truly hope they become a regular feature there. The food was just as impressive. The calamari, in particular, was a standout—so tender and flaky, easily some of the best I’ve had in Albuquerque. I also really appreciated the bartender’s thoughtful gesture of creating a unique non-alcoholic drink for my friend—such a nice touch that didn’t go unnoticed. All around, the staff, music, and welcoming atmosphere made for a refreshing and special evening. I’ll definitely be back. Huge thanks to the team at Mission Wine and Dine for helping make my birthday so special!
I took my mom to Mission Winery for Mother’s Day, and it was truly an amazing experience from start to finish. The atmosphere had a cool indoor-outdoor vibe with large open garage-style doors, so we could enjoy the view of people walking by while still feeling cozy and relaxed inside. We were seated right away, even though we arrived a little early, and everyone was so warm and welcoming. The curated brunch menu was thoughtful and absolutely delicious. I had the quiche, and my mom had the chicken salad sandwich—both were divine. Everything was seasoned perfectly. I didn’t need to add salt, pepper, or anything else. The flavors were beautifully balanced and worked so well together. They also brought out a bread plate when we first sat down, which was such a nice and unexpected treat. The drinks were just as impressive. I had the lavender sangria, my mom had the prickly pear mimosa, and we later shared an espresso martini. All of them were fantastic. We were seated near the bar, so we got to watch the team make our drinks, and it was fun to see the care and creativity they put into their craft. This was our first real brunch together, and Mission Winery made it feel so special. The food, the drinks, the service, and the overall vibe were all top-notch. Highly recommend for a weekend outing or any special occasion.
Mission Wine and Dine, specifically the Parlor Room downstairs, the food is amazing (chile relleno corndog, lobster deviled eggs, onion strings and green chile smash burger) all yummy. Ambience is so chill in the Parlor Room downstairs. Nob Hill Central 💜
We went for the Valentine’s Day event with the set menu. The choices were great and every dish was not only delicious but also plated with elegance. The service was outstanding as well. A great night all around.
This is a 6 star restaurant 😍!! Thanks to Josh and Joanna for making my dining experience worth while. I highly recommend this place to eat 😋!! I will definitely return to eat here.
We reserved the private room for my birthday dinner. The restaurant, ambience, food and cocktails were wonderful. The service was on point.
This is a great brand! The wines are really good and it has a great label. Mission winery is a awesome addition to Albuquerque.
I was fortunate to dine at Mission Winery last weekend when the weather was beautiful and they had the big roll-up doors open—it was great to be almost dining outside! The place is so inviting and well decorated—it just beckoned for us to come in. And I’m glad that we did! I had the lobster deviled eggs for an appetizer, and the braised ribs as the entree—both were delicious. I followed their suggestion that I pair the ribs with their 2020 Garnacha, which was a delicious wine. It was a wonderful evening— one which I and my out of town guests will not forget!
I love this place already! Beautiful space, it’s hard to know where to sit, but the first half circled booth is the best! I had calamari and ribs and both were excellent and delicious. The ribs will absolutely melt in your mouth along with hand-cut fries! The staff was friendly and attentive. I also drank the delicious MW Pinot Griggio. All and all, a win win for Albuquerque and for you ! 👍👍
The service is impeccable. The food is an absolute delight; the food quality is beyond what ABQ is used to. The wine is high quality. The atmosphere is upscale, yet unpretentious. Happened to be here when the owner’s family was dining in, and they were very welcoming and humble. Absolutely cannot wait to visit again,
Loved it here!! It was beautiful and private. The food was excellent and so was the service! The sangria was the best I've ever had. They also have a beautiful event room on the side with an exquisite accent wall! We can't wait for our next date night.
Amazing, amazing, amazing. My family came here for dinner this week and were surprised we were the only ones in here. We started with the onion strings as an appetizer which I can now say are better than onion rings. I ordered the “pasta of the day” which ended up being a calabacitas pasta with goat cheese and added chicken. My brothers got the ten chile friend chicken and the green chile burger which they said were good and my mom went with one of the corn dogs. Will def be back soon!!!
Such a great addition to the Nob hill area! The staff and owners are awesome! Food is great (love the duck wings, sammies and fried okra!) and wine and cocktails are delicious! Excited to taste the new wines Jessica has in the works!
Mission Winery’s ambience is first-rate: you feel like you’ve walked into a NAPA tasting room, but you’re in downtown Albuquerque. The food selection is incredible with lobster corn dogs, red chile ribs, and duck wings, the variety is one big step beyond the norm. The wine is fantastic! Each food selection has a recommended pairing, but I enjoyed the Garnacha 2021. Well done on your opening! This spot is a must-visit!
Mission winery has an incredible atmospohere and great food! Their lobster deviled eggs are a must have. I also had the grilled chicken sandwich and that was delicious as well! Mission is a great addition to Nob Hill.
Mission was delicious - great vegan and vegetarian options with beautiful presentation and amazing service. Fantastic wines made by the owner and creative cocktails add to the pleasure! What a gem for Nob Hill.
Mission Winery is a must “go to”, the space is beautiful and inviting. Their wine and food is some of the best in Albuquerque. Service has always been top of the line. Give them a try and support local business!
My wife and I had an amazing experience at Mission Winery. The food and wine were both amazing! Thank you for bringing great wine and food to Nob Hill. We will be back soon.
This is the spot! Wonderful food and drinks. Beautiful ambiance. Great service. It was a perfect spot for a date night my wife and I. Just can’t say enough great stuff about it. We’ll be back.
Had a glass of wine while waiting for theatre to open. Nice Cabernet Sauvignon. Very small, I hope it doesn't become too crowded. Decor is very well done. We liked their wine glasses and other items. Interesting coasters for sale. Exceptional staff. Interesting discussion with owners. Should have stayed instead of going to the movie. We will be back soon.
Had such a great experience at Mission Winery! The red chile fried chicken was delicious. Perfect spice and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended!!!!
Wonderful wine selection and amazing food. Loved the grilled Brussels Sprouts and Green Chile Hush Puppies!
Such a wonderful experience! I couldn’t have been happier with my first time at Mission. The food was excellent- so fresh and delicious. I had the best steak of my life. The drinks were absolutely fabulous, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. 10/10 all across the board! Will definitely be back.
We loved our experience at this restaurant in Nob Hill! Our server, Oliver, was absolutely amazing. He was very attentive to our needs and was knowledgeable about the specials/menu. The atmosphere was very nice but attire was relatively casual. We loved this place and would dine here again.
I cannot say enough good things about Mission Winery! The atmosphere of the winery is amazing! The food is incredible! And obviously the wine and drinks are some of the best New Mexico has to offer. My wife and I recently book our baby shower at Mission Winery's "Parlor Room." It is a private lounge/bar downstairs from the main winery. We had our own bar and several dishes. The meat and cheese board, crab deviled eggs, and wings made for a perfect food offering. All of our guests complimented the space, food, and drink options available. Not to mention, every time we go in the staff is incredible kind and attentive. They make you feel like you are old-friends. The owners, Seth and Jessica, are extremely kind and will go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of!
Really enjoyed this for a low-key date night! Food was top notch, which isn't always the case when wineries decide to include a menu to their tasting room. My wife and I each ordered a wine flight and each wine was unique and enjoyable. Their Oyster Bar next door definitely seems to be taking center stage, but don't pass up the winery dining room. It does seem that with the success of the Raw Bar, their downstairs Parlor room isn't being opened as much anymore, which is a shame as I love speakeasy style spaces like that and would definitely visit there often if they were open more. None-the-less, beautiful space, great food, delicious and interesting wine. Definitely worth your evening.
Federico was the best bartender I have ever had. He helped us all night and was very knowledgeable about the menu and the cocktails. He recommended amazing options and I wouldn’t want anyone else !
Just finishing up a wonderful meal at Mission Winery. We had the jackfruit Sammie and the mushroom fajitas- both delicious. Atmosphere was very chill — good music but not too loud. The wine was exceptional. If you like drier wines, this is the winery for you. And a woman vintner who should be celebrated!
Every time I have eaten here, it's been better than the last. Every meal I have tried is flavorful and unique. I crave it often and don't get to come back as much as I would like, but look forward to my next visit!
It was fabulous!!! Amy is great she made my friend her favorite cocktail she requested and knocked it out of the ParK!!! The live entertainment was so nice and added to the Sexy Chic New Mexico vibe that Mission Winery gives ! The staff is friendly and attentive!
This is such a cute little restaurant! The decor and atmosphere is super wonderful and all of the staff were so nice and attentive. We tried their fried chicken bites, a couple cocktails, and dessert, all which were very good. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again.
Had a great time when visiting recently! Our experience started when greeted by several friendly hostesses who showed us to a comfortable booth that was next to the open doors allowing a pleasant evening of the warm Albuquerque summer. Our server who was equally friend answered all our questions and gave insight into the delicious options. We shared the dry rub wings, a fresh watermelon salad with an avocado watermelon dressing with blanched almonds. Our main course was also so good! We started with a wine flight and but also enjoyed a tastefully made cocktail. We will be dining again and excited to see as the menu changes with season. A good balance to options in Nob hill! Mission knocked this experience out of the park.
Tasted the Rosé and the Garnacha 2020 -- SUPERB. Both of them. The wine is made locally here in Corrales and Los Ranchos. The host Juan Carlos and Harris the bartender were both very friendly, easy going, and laid back. Classy ambience. Since it's warm out, they had the "garage doors" open right next to the tables with Central Avenue and Nob Hill just outside. It's a bistro. I think if you like D.H. LesCombes (St. Clair) in Old Town, you'll like this place!
Mission Winery is such a fantastic addition to Nob Hill! I really want to order the entire appetizer menu every time I come, everything looks that good, but I'm pacing myself and will eventually try it all! The green chile hush puppies are amazing. You've got to try the red chile chicken, it's my favorite dish here. Don't skip the fried okra as a side. If you've got room for dessert (make room!), the chocolate mousse totally hits the spot. They really know what they're doing with their wine pairings, everything I've tried matches perfectly with the food. The La Luz cocktail is also excellent! I can't wait to work my way through their cocktail menu.
Enjoyed our date night at Mission! The atmosphere was so lovely, it didn’t feel too loud or too quiet and the lighting and space felt very comfortable. Our waitress Judy made us feel very cared for and checked on us frequently. Wine was great - got the flight to try the Garnacha, the Cabernet, and the Pinot Gris. Food was overall good. Brussels sprouts were out of this world - wine sauce with pumpkin seeds and Brussels were soft and crunchy and so yummy. Seasonal salad was pretty underwhelming - just a simple spinach salad with very light dressing. The blueberries and shaved almonds were the best parts. Lobster deviled eggs were also just ok - lobster was overcooked and flavor was very mild. The salmon dish was good - fish was perfectly cooked, soft, and flavorful but the broccolini was a bit undercooked and the rice was a little gummy. Very happy I tried this place, and enjoyed our night! Will try again.
This review is for the speakeasy. Drinks were good. Staff was friendly. The decor is really nice. The only down side was the smell. The moment we walked in the place smelled like sewage or bathroom with the door open. Thats the only down side I would say of this place.
Very hot in the tasting room. Not sure why. Uncomfortable at the least. Trying a flight of Sauvignon Blanc, Garnacha 2020 and Cabernet Sauvignon as a wine flight. Bit of a white and then all red. We ordered food to split. My wife is gluten intolerant so we accommodate. Our server is great. Very helpful. Harris is our server.
Service was great. Get a good seat and I can imagine this place being even better when it cools down and they open the garage style doors. Burger and calamari were fantastic. My only complaint is that the fries were terrible. But I would absolutely go back to this place.
I think this is a great place to have a glass of wine! However, the food was lacking. I ordered the lobster rolls and the flavor was not there. They needed salt, spice, just something! I wound up disappointed spending $32 on mediocre lobster… service was friendly and attentive. My pals ordered the beef Wellington corn dog and they were disappointed to find it was cooked “well.” I’d come back for wine, but the food needs improvement.
It's fine but nothing amazing. The ribs were super dry and had very little flavor. The fried chicken was okay but very bland as well. The lobster corn dog had absolutely no flavor and they were out of 4 items we tried to order (came in around 7:30). Wine and cocktails were good and the service was great but the food really needs to improve.
My coworkers and I had dinner here last night after a long conference. While the service was good, it was really slow. We had the yucca chips and Brussels sprouts as appetizers and thought they forgot about it is it took so long to come out. This was the first time I’d had yucca chips so I asked what part of the yucca they’re from (they were actually pretty good) and was told “The kitchen isn’t taking non essential questions right now.” Lastly we ordered the jackfruit sandwich, the salmon, and a green chile smash burger. I had the burger and it was bright pink in the middle. I really should have sent it back and that’s my fault because I feel sick this morning. Smash burgers are super thin, it’s pretty obvious they rushed our order, I just wanted to eat at that point. Probably will not be coming back to be honest. It was 30$ for a glass of wine and an underdone burger.
It feels like they want to make a feeling but it failed. Went for an anniversary dinner and even though there were many tables availiable we were seated by the door. The food was ok but not great. We weren't treated to an experience.
The food was okay. Had the lobster rolls which were prepared nicely but the lobster didn't have much flavor. I did enjoy the brussel sprouts, very tasty. A bottle of wine was $50 which is high. I understand an upcharge in the restaurant, however double the price is high compared to other establishments. The purchase price for a bottle of their sauvignon blanc is $24
My wife and I went out for a Valentine’s dinner, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment. I should have taken the hint when there were still reservations available just four days before Valentine’s Day—probably a sign that this place isn’t great. On top of that, we had to pre-pay $200, which I now realize is a red flag. If a restaurant is confident in its food, they wouldn’t need to lock you in ahead of time. The "4-course meal" was far from worth the price. The portions were tiny—an oyster drowned in onions, a deviled egg overloaded with dill and a couple of small lobster pieces, and while the lobster bisque was decent (tasted oddly like Teddy Grahams), that was the only real highlight. For the main course, I ordered salmon, and my wife had the beef. My salmon was extremely raw and had to be remade. When I finally got it, it was okay but nothing special. My wife’s beef? It straight-up tasted like Dinty Moore from a can—she barely touched it. They did comp the one drink we ordered for the issues, but honestly, this meal was nowhere near a $200 experience or anything resembling "fine dining." We walked away feeling ripped off and disappointed. Definitely wouldn’t recommend. At least the waitstaff was friendly and service wasn't bad.
After placing an order for two oyster appetizers, two steak entrees and two sparkling waters the waiter came back and told us that they were super busy yesterday and the only things left were frozen items they could fry. Chicken fingers, oyster po'boy.. At this point they had already placed the order for the oysters. $50 for 6 oysters and two glasses of Pellegrino (aka, bar soda) and then we had to find a place to eat. They ruined our lunch. Thank you.
Tried the lobster rolls. Horrid. Worst mouth feel of any bread I’ve ever tasted. Imagine Olive Garden breadsticks a few days after had been served.
