Polly's Pies have been very popular with the locals and the service the food they adore it almost family. The restaurant offers limited time or seasonal deals and meals.

We love Polly’s Pies. For people that sign up for their email offers, they give a free entree with pie to the birthday person and a free pie with purchase of an entree to the birthday person’s other guests. Everything was delicious and our waitress was very attentive and friendly. Everyone tried a different pie. The free pie is a regular sized portion.

Wednesday afternoon/evening is Bingo Night. Crowd favorite for regulars here at the Montebello location. Bingo brings out the crowds so you'll be waiting to be seated. There are several rounds of Bingo the MC DJ takes a break in between sessions. Diner was good finished with a cup of ☕ and Chocolate Cream 🥧.

I enjoyed breakfast with my family today. We had Eggs Benedict, New York Steak and eggs, and my son had breakfast burger. Each meal came with a baked item which the cinnamon buns are a nice choice. We also bought some of the homemade jelly's, a dozen cookies PB and chocolate chip, and a banana cream pie. The poor waiter was slammed but did a good job. Will definitely return.

We were created upon arrival and seated. Took 10min before being asked for our drink orders. When Drinks finally arrived another 10min later, they tasted funny. I had the orange juice that tasted watered down. The kids had strawberry lemonade that tasted off as well. I asked for a coffee instead. The waitress seems to be the only person tending to tables with no assistance. The employees in the front did not back her up. The food was ok but I think I prefer the location in long beach. My fiance said his chicken was over cooked. I don't think I'll return.

I was here on March 14 to celebrate pi day! They have a parking lot with plenty of spots. The servers were friendly. You have to take your check and pay at the register. The lemon meringue was ok. I think this pie is just not for me. I enjoyed the boysenberry pie though. If they had key lime, I would definitely get that next time!

Came across Polly's on Google maps and decided to give it a try. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Our server was attentive and kind. What we ordered wasn't that good, but we might stop by again and try other menu items. Oh, but that cornbread! It was so amazing! Didn't try their pies this time but I did purchase a box of chocolate chip cookies to take home but was disappointed when they turned out to be peanut butter chocolate chip cookies, good thing I personally don't have a peanut allergy. Did call them to let them know, and they were very helpful about it.

Ordered their Biscuits and gravy with egg on the side. Biscuit wasn't fresh, but most importantly, the size and ration was very small. Seemed more like a kids meal. The Pumpkin pie made up for it👍

I wanted to like this visit, but the service was unacceptable. Ashlee started off friendly, but after we hit the 30-minute mark with no food, she began avoiding us entirely. When I tried to speak with her about it, she blamed the kitchen and walked away while I was mid-conversation. Management needs to train staff that communication is key—I can handle a wait, but I can't handle being ignored and dismissed.

Unfortunately Polly’s pies has gone down in service. We showed up at 9:50am and the lobby was full of people waiting to be seated. My party of 2 waited 20 minutes before they called us for a table. We sat at 10:10am and not one waitress/waiter came by to take the order. We were left there like we were invisible. We got up at 10:25am and walked out. We were very disappointed with the service and extra disappointed because half of the restaurants tables were available and were not being utilized. Sad to say that this experience was the nail in the coffin for us to not go there anymore. Sorry Polly’s but you can do better than this.

I’ve been coming to this location on and off since it changed from Baker Square to Polly’s Pies. The food is decent, but the service has always been hit or miss. This last visit was the final straw. We waited to be seated, which was fine, but after being seated we sat for 15 to 20 minutes with no greeting, no water, no drinks, nothing. The restaurant was about half empty, and it felt like we were completely forgotten. I understand staffing and section coverage can affect service, but if guests are seated, someone should be responsible for checking on them. Sitting there with no acknowledgment is frustrating and a waste of time. The food here is okay, but not good enough to make up for consistently unreliable service. The convenience of the location used to keep me coming back, but at this point, it’s not worth the gamble.

The hostess was condescending. The waitress was excellent she gets 5 stars. We told her the nuts on the pancakes were rancid she quickly tried and replaced them. The hostess was the one that said I didn't know what I was saying because she said the nuts were fresh due to them keeping them refrigerated. Lmbo, didn't know keeping anything in the refrigerator keeps it from going bad. And they sure didn't pick the nuts that day, so how are they fresh? Anyhow, she basically told me I didn't know what I was talking about.

This place is hit and miss, mostly misses. It's notoriously known as long waits, whether you are dining in or ordering take out. After waiting 30 minutes for my take out order, I asked for my money back. The lady refunded me, but did not apologize or say anything. It's as if she did not care for my business.

We asked for a table for seven but got a table for six, so since the place was empty, we took it upon ourselves to take another booth. The table wasn't set with silverware and had to ask for it. Menus were given to us after waiting at the table for another 10 minutes. After our order was taken, it drinks didn't come out for another 15 minutes. Our food arrived shortly after. I ordered the prime rib french dip which sounded delicious, but it was far from delicious. Meat was definitely not prime and was super dry and hard. The bread was not that good either. They definitely need to be up their service and food. I wouldn't recommend this place.

DON’T ORDER DELIVERY! This place is the worst I have seen for delivery. Ordered delivery through their website for a $12.50 delivery fee. Ordered strawberry lemonade and received Sprite. Ordered a piece of pie and rolls with dinner didn’t get either. Called to complain and get a refund on the pie and drink. Was hung up on and ghosted with them not answering the phone anymore! Sounds like the staff doesn’t care. Now I don’t care about them anymore!
