Our go-to stop after Kirkwood every time every year without fail. Love the pizza, staff are always friendly and polite. We always order enough for leftovers!
Being a Pizza freak, one of the best things is a pizza joint with a unique taste while making a classic pizza, D-Bad is badass at that. And the owner is an excellent Lady.
What a pleasant surprise, we were passing through Pine Grove on the way to SF so we stopped with 11 people and had some of the best pizza we have ever had. Great service and amazing food. Highly recommend if you are in the area.
Called and ordered for dine in the gentleman that answered the phone was really nice said it would be about 25 minutes we got here in 25 min the gal at the front was nice well. The pizza 🍕 was excellent well balanced not salty the crust is spot on had a nice edge to it the dough cooked perfectly haven't have great pizza like this in a long while we I'll definitely come back and recommend this to passer by traveling through hwy. 88
Owner is very kind, has wonderful service. Great food. And a good place to cool down on a hot day. Would definitely recommend to anyone passing by.
Chill. Best crispy pizza, best crushed ice. We will go back and recommend to others. There are highchairs, and a stool for Littles in the bathroom. They serve coffee!!!
Just like I remember! Moved out of the area over 10 years ago and this is the pizza that all pizza gets measured! It was perfectly cooked and tons of toppings. New owners are very nice and we hope their business thrives. Keep up the good work!
We made a roadtrip pit stop and found a gem! The appetizers we had were delicious and by the looks of the pizza they were serving cant wait to go back and try one! Wren the manager made our whole experience delightful!! Beers were frosty 🍻
Stopped in for pizza on our day of exploring. Pizza was amazing and the 3 gentleman that were working were awesome. Very friendly and helpful and definitely working hard to crank out a bunch of pizzas. We'll definitely be back for more exploring and more pizza. Compliments to the crew, great job!
Really enjoyed the place, tasty pizza and friendly service.
I eat pizza as a main staple in my diet so I'm a bit of an authority on the topic This place is definitely #1 in the area They've got pizza factory, round table all them boys beat The crust is fire 🔥 😍 you'll love it! And the ranch dressing is bomb !
Ordered a medium pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms & black olives) BEST pizza. It had been awhile, obviously too long. Very nice polite young man at register. And workers in back all happy/friendly. We won’t wait as long to come back. Thanks 👍
I have to say, when I pulled up to this shop I didny really have high hopes. Its a small town with a small pizza shop. Boy was I surprised when that pie came out. I must say this place is better than anything I've had here in Idaho. We should just stick to meat and potatoes. I can here it now, what the heck would you know anything about pizza? You're from middle of nowhere Idaho. Well... I'm not some ordinary hick living under a rock. I actually used to live in Cali. David's pizza, the original one, in Stockton CA is the only one that comes to mind that is better than here. I've had pies in NY, Chicago, LA, Santa Clara, Vegas, San Diego etc. Le Bistro, Wood fire brick ovens, hole in the walls, pop up illegal joints you name it.
How have I never had your pizza until this week!? Good stuff! Reheated nicely. I can always tell who uses real cheese in the reheating process. Thanks for helping us celebrate my sister's promotion! The surprise was a huge success!! And everyone had their fill of great pizza from pine grove pizza
Great local spot. Pizza hit the spot and the staff was friendly. Chill vibe, I’ll be back for sure.
This is a great little pizza place. If you are feeling really hungry order the giant pizza. The ingredients were fresh and delicious. Service was very friendly. Pine Grove Pizza is very supportive of our Service Men and Women, as well as Veterans. It is a Veteran owned business. If you are in Pine Grove, make it a point to stop in and have some delicious pizza and a cold beer.
Really good pizza.. we just had the pepperoni and onion and the pepperoni was on the spicy side and I like it that way, but the crust was crispy and very tasty. We have gone there 3 times in 30 days so I would say yes, its good. A little pricy and it takes 45 minutes so be prepared for that.
Didn't know what to expect from the Pastrami Sandwich Pizza and was pleasantly surprised. It was really good! Highly recommend!
My son just recently got a job at this unbelievably awesome pizza place! I went in to get a pizza and see where he was working and I thought, probably it's just mediocre pizza, just like most of the other pizza places around. I could not have been more wrong! That pizza was 10 stars! It is so crispy on the bottom and they don't serve it on a metal pan or right on a box. They actually put it on a cooling rack like you would cool your homemade cookies on. So the bottom stays super crispy to the very last bite! The salad was crispy, beautiful and fresh! The restaurant is immaculately clean and the bathrooms are immaculately clean and super cute and you can see where they are making the pizzas through big glass windows. Super fresh ingredients!! What an unbelievable find right there in little Pine Grove. For 3 yrs, I have been cleaning an Airbnb in Pioneer even though I live in Omo Ranch area, and I have never even thought to stop at this place. I will definitely be back and I will be leaving an advertisement in the Airbnb for anyone that is a guest to go to Pine Grove Pizza for sure! Make sure you stop in you will be so amazed and happy at this gourmet pizza! And super friendly atmosphere in such a clean, beautiful place.
Wonderful service and even better food. We ordered a large meat pizza with bacon, chicken Cesar salad, and 2 orders of spaghetti and meatballs. Everything was so clean, neat, fresh, all the things u want!
I was passing through and I decided to stop and try a really small town's pizza. It was amazing. I got the pastrami sandwich pizza with mustard and mayo sauce. Just incredible. Staff was amazing. Great vibes in the town.
Best pizza and beer ive had in a long long time! Rich and very tasty sauce, very crispy pizza like a brick oven. Lots of toppings, friendly staff. And they have the biggest beer mugs ive ever seen. Called a super mug, its about 3 times bigger than a regular mug. Im coming back here every chance i get!
I have came here in the past a few years back and now that I’m staying up here decided to call in for pick and the pizza is very good. You can tell this place takes pride in there business. Amazing I believe it’s family owned. Very nice people, good atmosphere. I’m definitely coming back.
Great place to stop for a pizza before crossing Carson pass.

The Food and Service was phenomenal! Brook has made this place into a must visit location for Pine Grove. If you are passing though you will not regret stopping in.
Great atmosphere..Brook runs a great Pizzeria..The best Desert Pizza you've ever had..
Little pricey otherwise I love their pizza the crust is amazing!
The pizza is awesome! The ingredients are hand made. I.e. hand sliced pepperoni, veg, hand grated cheese. The staff is fantastic! Would definitely recommend if you in the mood for pizza!

This place reminds me of an old school pizzeria as far as the layout of tables and simple decor but do not let that fool ya! The pizza they serve is nothing short of amazing. Their sauce is delish. We went on a Saturday night and it took a solid 50 minutes to receive our pizza even dining in, we were quickly growing impatient. The staff is young but capable (mostly), they couldn't make me a pizza that was 3/4 pep and 1/4 cheese 😂😂😂 I thought it was ridiculous. We are a family of 4 and only one of us hates pepperoni so it's a common request for us and this is the first time our request has been denied. That will not stop us from going back though... they have really good pizza and ranch. In the future we will probably call our pizza in and do a pick up to avoid the long wait times. Taste: 5 stars Service: 3 stars
Pizzas were pretty good. Ordered two gigantic pizzas. Price was good. $68 and change. One was the all meat and the other was the garden chicken. My favorite was the garden chicken. The all meat had ham in it... I like ham, maybe just not in pizza. But it was still good
Service is efficient, pizza is good, price is reasonable. Mini pizza plus a house salad is a good option if not willing to go waaaay to on carbs. 😊 Place is clean, you can watch them making the pizzas.

Pricey but worth it. Heavy portions of toppings, good crust and sauce. They make top tier calzones!

I visited a friend in Pine Grove and we ordered and picked it up. It still wasn't ready when we got there and then I was charged $40 !! I've never been charged that much even in a small tourist town. I didn't think of it til after we got back to eat it. The pizza wasn't spectacular or , piled high with toppings. I read someone else's review and they said every time they've ordered they won't be given a price over the phone and when they pick it up, the price is always different. !
These people don't skimp on the toppings. Cheaper than most pizza places. It is the place to go. I didn't care for the garlic bread.the lasagna is terrible.
This place is really had kind of a roller coaster ride of service experience over the last few years since the previous owner or previous long-term owner sold it. Prior to that it was amazing top shelf since then over a series of kind of haphazard owners and people who get their best I guess it's really suffered. The last time I went there I wouldn't recommend it again however I did hear that it changed hands once more so it might be worth you know just taking a peek. If I didn't feel so bad about giving local venues less than three stars and we would be talking one star here.
Man...I hate to give my hometown pizza joint this lackluster of a review. But I have to be honest. This was the first time I've been in there in a couple years and I was kinda disappointed. Half the beers on tap weren't available. I paid over 50 bucks for a medium pizza and 6 wings and they wouldn't even give me some Bleu cheese to go with the wings without an extra charge. The wings were under cooked. The pizza was mediocre. No TVs were on. The atmosphere was kind of uninviting. I love local business but local business needs to love us back. A little thing of Bleu cheese to go with my $50 dollar purchase isn't asking too much.

Maybe my standards are a bit high having spent a lot of time in Chicago and eating the pizza there, but the food here is disappointing. If our oven worked properly, I'd opt for frozen pizza every time. There's also Ray's take and bake, but again, our oven takes about twice as long to cook things. The past two times I've ordered, both pizzas both times were overcooked, this most recent time to the point where only a couple pieces were edible. I should have gotten pictures, but we ended up throwing it out. Also, spending over $58 for 2 x 1 topping 14" pizzas is rather overpriced. Even if the pies were cooked perfectly, this is still significantly overpriced. We've ordered here several times over the years, and while we've never been wowed by the experience, the quality continues to degrade. I can't see ever recommending this place without there being major changes.
The amount of toppings were reasonable. The crust was very good as everyone has noted. The smell of old onions sitting out at room temperature was hard to get past. The lack of cheese was not acceptable, even after ordering extra cheese.
Very hit and miss. Food usually pretty good but staff can’t tell you your total over the phone to save the soul. Can never figure out how they come up with the total because even though I always ordered same thing price was different. Almost made this the family’s new pizza spot but don’t trust the staff because out of 4 times eating here price is always different with same order
I usually love seeing teenagers work at these kind of restaurants, make your money! But my god, it took way over 30 minutes for them to get a pizza out. Pizza looked good but the wait was insane for an early Sunday night dinner. We had to get to go boxes because we had a previous engagement. Seemed to prioritize Togo orders which doesn’t make sense since you have people in restaurant waiting.
Overkill on toppings for combination pizza with hardly any cheese or sauce. Worst tasting pizza for us and our friends, unable to eat it also (asked for extra cheese)…in the past burnt around edges and very little sauce, cheese. when talking to others had same. experience. Service, friendliness, and atmosphere great.
Done there. Live 2 miles away, haven't been a ton but frequent there occasionally. Never going back. I'll make the 15 minute drive down the hill from now on. Pizza has never been great, but the customer service my daughter and I experienced on our recent visit was absolutely abysmal. Made us feel like we didn't matter as customers. I told them in person as soon as I was finally allowed to pay for my take-out pizza (which was cold because of the horrible service), and now I'm posting it here. If you don't care how they treat you and you just want pizza that is close and convenient, go right ahead. If you want good pizza, and to be treated like you're an actual person, try just about any other pizza joint in the county, we've got plenty of em!
I ordered my pizza and I don’t even get what I ordered . My pizza was a 12 in thing crust with, mushrooms 1/2 onions with sausage. Creaming garlic sauce. My husband picked up the pizza it was the wrong crust , burt . And she put onions on the whole pizza also had no creamy garlic. 40 bucks for that and a liter of soda. Service was horrid, she acknowledged the mistake and still sent the food on the way quote “ I know she said thin crust but I made this one” I work in food service. It was the last order but the carelessness. We were hungry and just left . Went to the dogs

Pizza is ok at best. You have to get your own soda, get your own plates, get your own cheese/peppers, etc… Horrible customer service. Overpriced low quality pizza. I got a combination and a pepperoni pizza. Ingredients tasted like canned food. One bright spot is that their bathrooms are super clean
I'd choose less than one star for this place but the web site would not allow me to make a review with less than one star. I'd recommend you just keep on driving, pass this s place and go to another restaurant. The service was sarcastic, the pizza looked like it was ran over, flat and compressed, and was charged over 2x more than what the web site said. When i asked why the excessive cost and making a statement that The web site needs to be updated... a sarcastic reply "Well maybe I'll have to notify rhe authorities."
What comically bad service. Called to clarify a pricing issue on their website, and why our one pizza came out to $70 lmoa. Pizza was mid too, any chain is better.
Food is way over priced and no where worth it. The service was super slow and the owners seem to have an attitude. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Save your money people you’ll regret going here. Especially if you bring children. This place is worse than it was before.
