⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently attended a real estate investor meeting at The Metropolitan in Amarillo, and it was an excellent experience. The atmosphere was professional yet welcoming, with a modern design and comfortable setup that made networking easy. The staff was attentive and accommodating, and everything was well organized from start to finish. It’s a great venue for business events, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a top-notch spot in Amarillo.

Me and my boyfriend came into the restaurant celebrating our anniversary. It was a split second decision, but we both agreed that this was the best dining experience either of us have ever had. Not only was the food amazing but the atmosphere and the staff were phenomenal. They really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience we could. Our server Brandi was amazing. She made sure to answer all of our questions, tell us about the specials and, was such a pleasure to chat with. The food was so delicious. It absolutely exceeded our expectations. We ordered the shrimp cocktail appetizer, the beef pasta and the Asian style cedar plank salmon, and for the sides we ordered the mac and cheese and truffle fries. Compliments to the head chef (we didn’t quite catch his name) and the sous chef Jacob! Special shout out to Jared and the bartenders. I never leave reviews but this place and staff most definitely deserved it all, thank you all again for the amazing experience!

The Metropolitan is THE restaurant for an exclusive, fine dining experience. Food? Top notch. Drinks? Bar none. Atmosphere? Out of this world!!! Not to mention the ownership—Gabriel and Kelsey, along with their business partners, are truly outstanding individuals. They take real pride in ensuring top-tier customer satisfaction, both in and out of the restaurant. We’ve taken our employees here for celebratory dinners, and every single person was blown away by the food, the service, and the overall experience. THIS is the place to go for fine dining!

If you are looking for a restaurant that is hip enough for the young professional crowd and traditional enough for their grandparents, then this place will please you. The decor is stylish with modern/industrial/classical touches. Chandeliers, dark wood and black tablecloths are enhanced by a beautiful bar and vintage portraits. The service was cordial, thoughtful and timely, including the Michelin Star chef dropping by to say hello. The food was prepared perfectly and presented well. It was a pleasure to eat a New York steak slowly with a red wine reduction sauce and linger over the last few sips of an Australian Cabernet.

I celebrated my 40th birthday at Metropolitan, and it was an unforgettable night! The team went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The room looked amazing with our added decorations, and the setup was just right for our group of 40—cozy but not crowded. We had music, karaoke, and even a Photo Booth, all at a great noise level that still let people mingle comfortably. Special shoutout to Jared (owner/GM) for his incredible patience and responsiveness with all my emails while we planned the event. Paige and Macy, our bartenders/servers, were absolute rockstars—not only were they on top of everything, but they even dressed on theme with our Espresso Martini vibe, which was such a fun touch. If you're thinking of hosting a private event, I can’t recommend Metropolitan enough. A solid 10/10 experience!

Stopped in for a quick drink one afternoon. Absolutely delicious. Staff knew what questions to ask to help us decide on what we would like. I loved my margarita. Beautiful atmosphere with lots of seating. Doesn’t feel like you are in Amarillo.

We had an amazing night at Metropolitan. The atmosphere was great, the live band was entertaining, yet we could still have a conversation. The food was spectacular! The four of us shared the cheese board. It had different cheeses, fruit, meats, and crackers, all drizzled in honey. We also shared the pork belly sliders with jalapeno aoli. Two of us split the special, which was a seafood board. The other two split the Filet Mignon. For dessert we had sticky date pudding and deconstructed smores. Our waitress was superb. It was an amazing date night.

First I just want to preface, the food is incredible. The service was also very good! HOWEVER... the wait staff seem to have gotten what I will call the "Hooters treatment". Many of the waitresses are wearing uniforms that are... inappropriate for a restaurant that sells $100-150 plates. Push up bras with very exposed cleavage. I understand this is appealing to people at some places, but it's something you might expect to see at more of a sports bar, not a place that sells Waygu for $100.

We had reservations for our 55th wedding anniversary on March 7th, a Saturday night. We were seated at table 56 My wife ordered the Chilean Seabass, which was good. I ordered the TX Wagyu Skirt Steak which was one of the "specials" for the night . My steak was tough and could barley cut it much less chew it. The waiter and manager were very apologetic, in fact he owned up to the fact he had that cut of meat the night before and found it tough. They offered another steak, I refused, too disappointed at this point. They did discount the meal and threw in a free dessert. Questionable whether or not we'll go back.

Menú super small very limited selection. Sign says seafood and steak. There is 1 seafood selection. Ordered steak medium came out well. Ordered desert came out frozen solid. I didn't taste.Beautiful restaurant outstanding service.

The place was beautiful and our server was awesome and very attentive, however for the amount of money we spent you get very little food. They should at least give you a salad with your $86 steak! Nothing is free, not even bread!

Had dinner last night Christmas dinner. And server got my husband's plate mixed with another person's order. We all finished our food and my husband waited 17 minutes for his food and the sides that were brought out originally, he could not eat because they were cold and some sides were gone, so he had to eat his steak fast with no sides I felt bad for him cause he was just looking g at everyone. It was embarrassing

Staff was inexperienced and inattentive. Restaurant tries to present an upscale experience, however, they have no idea of gourmet or fine dining. 1. No bread or veggie tray served upon seating. 2. Drinks were not refilled unless requested. 3. Salads were miniscule. Everything ala carte with no thought as to what was being presented. Prices were over the top for the quality of food presented. More expensive than a Michelin dinner. Items offered on menu were not available, at beginning of evening. A very disappointing experience. A special occasion recognized at seating. However, no follow up. We were the only patrons at the 6:00 p.m. hour.
