They showed me deals I didn't realize they had, saving me money and took their time while I figured out the app. Food was fresh, hot, and all there.
Normally always pretty good at getting everything out quickly and warm even when it's busy but not this go around. I ordered at the kiosk: and somehow I was the last person to receive my order even though everybody was behind me roughly six people deep at least I can say the food was nice and hot but it was not delivered to my table like it was supposed to be noir in a timely manner I was not the only one with the late order the people at the counter also was having issues
I must say, these guys seemed to really make an effort. They obviously run a tight ship. They took my order read it back, confirmed it at the window. At the second window she told me which drink was diet(everyone should do this.) And I saw a gentleman verify doors were locked (night shift, for safety.) Most importantly my order was correct! I was genuinely impressed. Kudos to this store for restoring my faith in a young staff and McDonald's!
They've updated quite a bit. Everything is serviced. Drinks, food, everything. Miguel was very helpful. Greeted us, took our order, was patient and continually checked on diners. Our food was fresh, and our order was accurate. Very clean dining room.

We frequently come to this location. They're always fast and friendly and have yet to mess up an order.
Stopped here during a cross country road trip. The staff was amazing, especially the guy working the front counter. He made sure everyone was doing well and got what they needed. The girl working the drive thru.. I heard her as I was going in and out of the restaurant and she was so friendly and greeted everyone with excitement. The food was so good too, it was the best McDonald's I've had in YEARS! Thank you for a great experience.
The food was fresh and delicious!! The staff was friendly... The staff meeting that was loud and echoing in the dining room was not alot of fun to listen to. It is obvious they are not used to having people eat in.

To many people want to make something out of McDonald's. It's a fast food place that kids LOVE! If you feel that keeping your kids from the danger that you manifest, you are having the best interest of your kids only in health ,not learning, not in competition, not for the happiness of your kids. Wake up people ,it's not that serious! My grand kids would eat McDonald's every day but one your not going to do it and that the reality of the situation.
Had a quick breakfast before work. I order the wrong thing on the kiosk so I was a little disappointed. My mistake. BUT I can’t stand self service anywhere. I still believe in personal customer service. If I was ordering through an actual person I would have stated my order correctly and wouldn’t have been disappointed. This is the reason I don’t shop at Walmart anymore. Can we get back to real people again please?

I don't like McDonald's, but my girl wanted to go. First time in 5 years I have stopped here for dinner. Drive thru at night they did pretty good on keeping the cars moving, food was good, hot and fast.

Hate using the automated order system McD's wide (at any fast food place). It takes 3 times as long as saying a Number 2 Combo no pickles, no onion. Medium drink. And paying and getting a real paper in hand receipt.
Very short handed, waited over 25min. for order.
Took nearly 30 minutes just to get our food! It wasn't busy at all in the dining room, granted the drive thru was somewhat busy. Will likely not be eating here or at another McDonald's for the foreseeable future.
Breakfast was OK took some time which is not expected with McDonald’s. Steve was a little offkilter but other than that it’s OK not the best.
The food is what you expect from any McDonald's, however the lack of a cashier and having to rely purely on technology takes the humanity out of the equation. I prefer other locations where the cashier still has a place.
Rounded out, Mac's is usually middle-of-the-road average for me. I appreciate it most when I don't eat for a while, and I slide into a hypoglycemic state (my first wife coined it, "Dr Daso and Mr Smythe"), and my eyes grow big and crazy, and people appear to avoid direct contact with me. No drug or natural remedy can provide a short-term fix for this state and satisfy your sudden craving for salt, starch, and fat faster or better than a quick drive-thru at Micky D's.
Usually, at certain times there's slow service. People are fine, recently though I had ordered food with drive thru. Two burgers, fries, drink and nuggets (6p and 4p) at first I only received one burger, fry and 1 drink. That's it after that I asked for the rest they got me the two burgers, and one 6p nuggets still missing the 4p nuggets sigh which I then had to ask for again glad I had the damn receipt
I think the guy taking my order was new with lots of pauses but was very polite The food was hot and fresh
It's McDonald's not a Michelin star restaurant. Use the app it's easier and faster when you are wanting your food faster. I'm personally tired of waiting on everyone in a large group to place their order or still undecided on what they want. Plus you have many options in there on how to alter your meal however you like.
The last two times that I’ve been here, they have given me my burger raw. The first time I asked for it plain and dry, and it ended up with all the toppings and a raw patty. The most recent time, I figured I’d give it another chance. They got the plain and dry part right, but I got an even more raw patty. I’m not one to really complain, but this seems to be a consistent thing. I gave two stars because everything else in the order was correct.
Just went through the drive thru. We Chose mobile order and pick up in drive thru. We gave them our code and pulled up to the front window. Whoever was working the first window, had us sitting there for about 5 minutes before asking if we had a mobile order. (Proceeding to text, look away and not acknowledge us) We continued to sit thinking they were backed up or waiting on something. Then 5 minutes later window opened again for them to tell us we can pull forward. When arriving at the second window, they let us know the food has been ready? 1) first window is usually where we are asked if we want a receipt or not (since mobile order) 2) don’t expect us to know when to pull forward if you are not going to speak to us. 3) service was terrible this evening. I hope that it is better for others, but I am not returning to this McDonald’s. This is the second time we have had an issue with service.
I went to get a bite Saturday night a little after midnight, waited in the drive through line for well over an hour..Then when I got my food the Quarter Pounder was burnt like a hockey puck, and the fries were really over cooked as well..The drive-thru cashier was working very hard & had a great attitude. She was taking payment & giving the food.. I think they might have been short staffed...I wouldn't have been so upset after waiting an hour if the food was amazing..
Food was fresh but I ordered (and paid) for extra onion on my quarter pounder with cheese but upon going home there was no onion at all on my burger. They weren’t rushed (two cars in front of me, two cars behind) so I don’t get why a simple request didn’t get made? The receipt even says “XTRA slivered onions” so where did my onions go
While better than the Ross/Osage and I-40 location, I believe the McDonald's in Amarillo all need some serious management upgrades. I hardly eat fast food, but occasionally just need something quick - and these chain locations are not 'fast' food in any way shape or form. And the people working at these locations are rude, and do not care about the customer, their job, or even themselves. I am going to start just getting my breakfast at Toot N Totum.
Probably one of my worst MCDs experiences. Feels like standing in an empty, rusty warehouse. No large menu, only a tiny counter and paper menu or electronic kiosks. The BATHROOMS ARE LOCKED, you have to ask an employee for a code, enough said on that. I had to repeat myself and the order several, several times and STILL ended up being charged for an extra entree I DID NOT want. I was told the “meal had to be a medium” yet we still got a small??? Everyone inside seems extremely confused- the customers coming in to eat or use the restroom AND the employees. They were nice but just not worth the effort or money I didn’t intend to pay…..
I'm glad they are open 24 hrs, however I Waited in line for about 13 minutes and saw almost 3 fights start among customers in the parking lot, I think they should really consider hiring some nighttime security like the Whataburger on the boulevard.
I just ordered 2 deluxe chicken sandwiches and when I requests an extra chicken filet on both of them, they declared an extra bacon as a filet instead. This is not what I mean here. Chicken filet is not the same as bacon. Since my order adjustment is confusing to the staff, I will come back to this place to give it another chance but if they screw it up again, I will never be coming back.
This isn’t probably a big deal, but I love me a vanilla iced coffee from McDonald’s. So I got a large vanilla iced coffee, and I paid extra for caramel drizzle around the cup. When I got my drink, it didn’t have the drizzle. I told the lady that, and she said they mixed it all together. If I wanted it mixed together, I would have just gotten caramel syrup added instead. I always have problems at this certain McDonald’s.
I ordered my daughter a chicken big mac meal i LARGE with a sprite and ai got myself a chicken nugget meal medium with an iced coffee. I got home and got halfway through my nuggets when I see a glob of cut hair at the bottom of the box. I'm not talking a single hair I'm talking several of them cooked into my nuggets and coated in crispy grease from the nuggets. It looked like pubes. I am thoroughly disgusted and what I don't want is a replacement of fuzzy ball nuggets. I've posted the photo to your Google pages. I have no reason to go back whcih is a shame because ai go there frequently not only to eat myself but for door dash also.
This restaurant is horrible about asking you to pull forward after you pay for your food and then making you wait forever while everyone else is getting their food and leaving. Twice now I have waited over 15 mins for 2 breakfast sandwiches and have had to back up or get an employees attention to get the food I paid for. Something needs to change with the morning staff.
I work for doordash and they didn't have any icecream for the order the lady slammed the window after telling me. I had to wait 5 minutes for someone to come back and also be unhelpful and rude! I never got helped after being told to wait in the parking lot. 05/05/2024 Still the worst fast-food service ever! I didn't get my iced coffee after waiting in stall 1. So i went in the store to get it and the workers couldn't be bothered to help anyone in the lobby. I will never eat at McDonald's again. Every time I go it's a disappointment ...
Corporate needs to open another store or two to being 24 hours, there is always a wait of at least half an hour. With how many people leave after seeing how slow it is, don't want to use money when they switch to cash only, or just don't bother driving out because they know how slow it will be, Corporate is missing on profit only to deliver a much lesser experience
My order was incomplete & trying to contact the store to resolve this was impossible. The store is way less busy than it usually is at these hours, and I’ve called several times. I also did not receive a receipt when paying for my order when I asked for one, the window was closed and the employee went on to get the next order and wouldn’t open the window back while waiting. Horrible experience
All the personal touch of what use to be McDonalds is gone. I went in to order a large coffee. No one was at the counter only the machines that takes your orders. Which I strongly dislike. After a moment a gentleman walks up but only because I refuse to order from the machines. The gentleman was very kind took my order which was a large coffee. It took them ten minutes to get the coffee ready. Mind you it’s morning. Five minutes to get the sugar and a stirring stick. And I’m still waiting for the creamer. Caden was the gentleman that help me. he was kind and helpful and felt really bad that I was made to wait for so long on for a cup of coffee. I’m about done with McDonald’s. We had stop going to McDonalds a while back because of similar experiences but since it was close and convenient I decided to buy at McDonalds. Won’t be shopping or buying at McDonalds, For awhile! Seems that they only care about the bottom dollar at the expense of people’s health. I figured they couldn’t go wrong with just a cup of coffee but I was the one that was wrong!
Close lobby early. Forces people to wait outside in the cold to hand them their order instead of handing the orders through the drive thru window. 10+ minutes for a happy meal pickup order. Terrible staff that ignores people. Worst McDonalds in Texas. I wish they would change management and fire the entire staff or just shut the store down because it’s THAT BAD.
I gotta say that y'all suck. because any time I order extra sauce I never get them dine in or dine out or drive through I get that I didn't order anything to dip into them but sometimes mac sauce mustard and ketchup gets old.
Absolutely rude staff didn't want to help the customers at all required us to use the kiosk and said if we had any questions to let then know but they just ignored us. When I went to use the hand sanitizer it was broken so went to the bathroom to wash my hands but the woman's restroom was absolutely dirty and only 1 sink worked. Also when asked for a little more sauce got attitude from the lady
This location is awful. Employees are rude as can be. They consistently mess up my order every time I try to come here but it’s absolutely ridiculous. Highly recommend driving to anywhere else for anything else.
The store remained open during construction and was a complete circus. We had reorder our food at the window more than 3 times. The management of that store needs to get a better grip of that store.
I will never go to this McDonald’s again because this person at the window could not take my order and try to play it off. I asked about eight times for my order in at the end of it was, sir. I didn’t understand and I said it as clearly as possible this McDonald’s Don’t care about the customers.
I will never get another cheeseburger from McDonald's ever. I always ask for mustard and pickles only. Yet I always end up with onion or they'll realize their mistake and brush off the onions instead of remaking it. Not all your customers are stupid and you're incredibly lucky I don't have an allergy. Not that McDonald's wouldn't mind just throwing money at the problem instead of to their employees.
Been to this McDonald's so many times and they get my order wrong or forget whole parts of my order 95% of the time. I asked for less sauce on my burger one time and they literally put a singular dollop of sauce on there. When you ask for large fries they barely fill it half way. Overall never had a good experience here dont go to this McDonald's.
Used McDonald’s app waited for an hour and a half since I had already paid in the app mind you I’m waiting in my Diesel truck all to get to the speaker and give them my code and tell me it’s not on the system. Employee kept ignoring me while I was telling her I already got charged for order and if she can give me her name so I can explain later if I needed to speak to manager tell them who I spoke to so I can get some answers was quiet for a while I had to ask her three times until I finally got a name Kensley I would not go to this restaurant anymore.
The manager Brenda at this store does not care if your food is messed up. Literally in her words. That, even though they mess up on our food we still order from them. Franchise owner never contacts you back because obviously they don't even care. I feel we need to boycott the McDonald's here in Amarillo and see how the franchise owner feels about that!
So I ordered a McChicken a big Mac a fillet and two boy happy meals with extra fries both of them and they got our order wrong first of all they didn’t give me my orange juice for one of the happy meals secondly they didn’t insert the drinks correctly in the cup holder and one of those drinks spilled all over me as she was handing it over. one of our happy meals didn’t even come with a toy the other happy meal didn’t come with fries and I wasn’t even offered my receipt. We were one of three customers there so they were not even busy
The same girl who was on her phone in an earlier review picture was incredibly rude to us when we pulled up for our online order. She has ZERO customer service skills, and I could not believe she talked to us the way she did. We were not rude at all. She took our order and was in the first window. We went on 3/16/19 at 11:15 pm.
Ordered drink on door dash apparently they don't know how to make a Dr pepper because it was cancelled for being unable to make product

I spent close to $40. It was a simple order to. Only three 20 piece nuggets and 3 large fries. Got home where we still have no power to see that they only gave me two 10 pieces. Do not go to this location seems like they can't do simple math.

I went to get a 6 pc happy meal and the 4 chicken strips meal when I got my order my wife’s biggest were so hard you barley could bite the boy at the window kept brushing his hair back with his hands then proceeded to touch me and the person behind us food without washing his hands.. then I asked the manager fresh fries WITH salt bc my fries had no salt she throws my fries in the fryer almost burning the employee that was doing the fry station I think it’s so unprofessional how managers act and how they let some of the employees act I don’t mean to sound rude that the 2nd employee was a black younger man he did an excellent job at taking care of our order after.

They don't like customers, but more importantly in any order larger than a single meal without fail something is missing. But they get upset when you're forced to dig through the bag and make sure everything is there (and everything isn't). Do yourself a favor and go to the Wendy's next door. Can't guarantee they'll treat you any better, but they'll at least give you all that you paid your hard earned dollar for.
Paid in app not given order or a refund stating I'd have to take it up with IT in the app WTH just give me the rest of my order ... They stated they couldn't... Refund, replace or offer any substitutions
Absolutely terrible every single time I go in the morning they are closed because they’re getting ready for breakfast or they don’t have the breakfast item you want they take forever and the lady taking your cash is never respectful if you’re open 24 seven be open 24 seven when I come to get breakfast at five in the morning, there’s no reason you should Tell me it’s going to be a couple hours till we get ready for breakfast
I ordered food from ur restaurant through Uber and not for the first time half my order was missing. I ordered a kids meal for my granddaughter and never got it. I got her drink n that was it. I've tried to call but only got sent to voicemail. Not very good customer service in my opinion.
Bad.. if you want good service don't go here.. see playing on her phone instead of doing her job.. took 5 minutes to realize I was taking pics before she took my money..then got mad at me for taking her pic.. said I was being rude by taking her picture .. I think she was rude not doing her job and ignoring me but that's just my opinion
This mcdonald's sucks, cant get refills and the employees suck because they will intentionally ignore you. One day someday someone is going to get their attention and they aren't going to know what to do but run and hide..... its coming mcdonald's.... retrain before they get slapped

We go their after work to do yals job and we pay at the machine and sit for 20 min to c9me to find out our order never went threw wasting time . Then I go to counter so they can tell me it's not thier fault of corse it's not we wernt trained to do their job yal have lost a customer fir life . Also system my work for yal some how but for customers doing yals job is the most stupidity but yes it's my fault not knowing how to use yals machines and doing yals work yes my fault
First time I went, i informed the woman at window one that she had my order incorrect, she said that she didnt care. I told them again at window 2 and they said ok, then gave me the wrong order anyways. Went again last night at 10:20PM, same staff again. They had already closed the restaurant for the night and were turning everyone away. When I asked (i believe her name was Kris) she said that they closed. I said you don’t close until 11:00PM. She paused, looked at the clock, then told me they close at 10:30. (It was not even 10:30 yet). Same worthless staff in the back ground shutting everything down and finishing up for the night. Absolute failures for employees.
I come to this restaurant 2 to 3 times a week cause I have an autistic son that loves chicken nuggets.This mcdonald's is getting worse and worse by the day.No customer service, they don't acknowledge you.They're just straight up rude
A cheese burger and a cone. Took 15min they gave the car infornt his order and waiting 15 for a ice cream cone they the cashier chats it up with him. For a few mins. Imsted of pulling him foward to get the next order out like they do it sometime. Never. Comeing back Agin wrong all my three been here now this a number 8 serveing me like this
There were hardly any guests at the time which made for a quiet Friday evening. Upon walking in, we had to wait for someone to come attend to us at the cash register. One star due to the fact that our Big Mac didn't have any meat and the French fries were stale. The bathrooms were very dirty as well.
Needs to check on workers attitudes towards the uber eats drivers just cause they don’t want to walk to the window doesn’t not mean to have an attitude
Terrible and not what I ordered. Waited 10 additional minutes for a hot Caramel Mocchiato that was brought out by a girl who would not put her phone down. Had to wait longer for grape jelly that I asked to go with my sausage biscuit in the drive thru. Take the first taste of my mocchiato and discover the liquid was curdled and undrinkable. I get home to eat my sausage biscuit and it's just biscuit. So I spend nearly 8 dollars on nothing.

This McDonald's is so irritating. We asked if the ice cream machine was working, told they'd be right back, and watched as they took 3 other customers, completely ignoring us. We waited over 8 minutes after simply asking about ice cream. When they came back to us they ignored the question we asked and pretended we never asked. When they finally took our order she was extremely rude and dismissive. Ice cream machine is never working. Most employees have the worst attitude here. I will just be taking myself elsewhere in the future. Worst McDonalds in Amarillo by far.
Literally the WORST McDonald’s I’ve ever been to. Waited 20 mins for FRIES.. on top of that, WHERE ARE THE PEOPLE TO TALK TO?! Is this a completely contactless joint or something? It’s awful. Go back to what it was and take peoples orders.. or maybe at least bring the food out people order in a timely manner.. my friends and their kids sat for 30 mins with no drinks, food, napkins.. anything.. then when they finally got their food, there was an eyelash/small hair in a burger.. When asked for things, the employees act like we’re trying to take their first born child.. On top of everything, bathrooms are locked and can’t get in without a code.. can’t find a human body to get the code.. this visit was the worst visit I’ve had at ANY fast food restaurant in my life. I will NEVER be back. Hire a new crew or close the location down. Either seems sufficient 😡
I ordered to double cheese burgers for me and my brother and when we opened them we found a hair in both packages of the burgers and also in our fries idk if they don’t wear hairnets or something im sure it wasn’t intentional but its very unsanitary i tried calling twice and surprise surprise they didn’t pick up they should be investigated by the food department or something
The employees here are clearly operating on a higher plane of intelligence the rest of us just can’t access. Jan 4th @ 18:30, I ordered a double quarter pounder and asked for no onions. The male drive-thru attendant confidently informed me they don’t even come with onions. Amazing. Knowledge is power. I paid, was told to pull forward, and did exactly that. When my food was brought out, I double-checked—because I enjoy consistency—and was again assured there were no onions. Reassuring. Trust-building. Inspiring. Well, imagine my delight when I opened the box and discovered I was the chosen one, the lucky s.o.b. who received onions on a burger that, according to two employees, doesn’t even come with onions. Truly magical customer service. A culinary mystery for the ages.
Me and my friends have the worst experience.one we when the at12:40 and got our food at1:12 and was almost late to class and my friend couldn’t even eat it because they were almost late because they did do anything. We tried to be nice but us and another girl next to use waited longer than anyone there so we had to go in and they just throws it at my friends hand and didn’t even apologize and the food was cold.The where also out of almost everything and where really REALLY rude about it .also the last time we where there they were really rude to all the students there for no reason and disrespectful to us when we ask for our food last time.we tried to ask but they didn’t tell us anything until the last minute telling us that we’re at the wrong place but not in a nice way the rolled their eyes at use when we ask because we didn’t know we where just trying to get food for our friend who had a test so they didn’t even get to eat.They don’t update there app at all so when I tried get food at the time they were said open they weren’t ,and it took ad MONTH to respond to use and hehe us a refund.please don’t go to this place unless you want a bad time their very disrespectful and rude and you’ll come out with cold food and a flat Water down drink
It was terrible. We waited for over 45 minutes and had to go in to ask where our food was. We got no apologies and the staff were rude-we got attitude and the food shoved into our hands. I am very disappointed and dissatisfied.
I'd give zero stars if I could. Cashier was rude, disrespectful, and unfriendly. "Yo whatchu want foo" instead of "what can I get you?" or similar, answered a call on her personal phone mid-transaction, continuously screamed into the kitchen(literally screamed) looking for an employee named "terry." Told a customer "I ain't got time for this" before turning around and walking away, leaving the customer confused and upset.
First time having breakfast here and they messed up the order twice. Once at the window, and the other found at home. I couldn't eat the mess up found at home. In this economy? Absolutely not. They also couldn't fix the first order right, but whatever, it helped me have something I could eat at least. Filed a complaint with corporate as this is one of many times. We're pretty much done using this location, and would recommend for anyone in the area to drive the extra 5-10mins to another. I get they were busy, but I've worked enough food service jobs to know this is completely unacceptable.
Sent my husband to pick up our order and they told him a refund and ice cream machine was down and ended up giving the wrong one annnddddd just a little bit of ice cream for $3. Asked for no tomatoes and was STILL GIVEN TOMATOES ON MY ORDER. Do better McDonalds. Some people have allergies to foods and you can put someone in the er. Also I wasn’t given all sauces what I asked for. Putting order I made. Fries were definitely cold.
I went through the drive through thinking it would be some quick food on the way home- however instead I was made to wait 20 MINUTES, late in the evening, as I had to wait for not my food but two other peoples food as well! Instead of taking it out order by order they waited until everyone who was waiting's food was done and brought it out at once. I was there first so I not only had to wait for forever but for cold soggy sad disappointment... :(
Waited in drive through for 20 minutes I’m not exaggerating nobody was in front of us and when they finally answered the lady was rude and had an attitude would give it a zero start review if I could and Cara behind me kept driving off because nobody took their order they need to shut this location down it’s always bad
This is my second fast food try with my trip with my daughter the first place we tried was terrible I can't really say much more from McDonald's although it was better than the other place we tried. Not quite sure how this is such a popular restaurant for kids unless you want them to have a greasy high fat no nutrition meal can a child that will probably be 50 lb overweight at some point due to it. But my big is ripe for myself is the absolute horrendous service pulled up to the window to pay then drove up to the second window you got your food and the person open the window hand me the food and just slam the window didn't say a single word. Got to say for the millions of smiling customers, they must have went somewhere else
It was too late before I managed to get halfway through this quarter pounder w/cheese that I noticed that the meat was raw in the middle! I returned to this location in the drive-thru and showed an employee at the window the burger and he told me that, “he wasn’t surprised that it was raw.” He told me that he had thought about ordering some food for himself earlier on his shift, but didn’t because he didn’t trust the person that was running the grill! I quess, it’s going to be a waiting game now to see if I have food poisoning..
