Exceptional in all ways. Ordered the crab cakes, catfish basket with fries, a muffuletta and the Debris fries over the phone. The person over the phone was friendly and helpful. The payment method was easy. Pickup was friendly, clean and easy. Now the food. Outstanding! Great quality, ready on time and great flavors. It was our first time trying and did take out with everything just opening from the pandemic and our unease of eating out. But after seeing the cleanliness, social precautions and the quality of the food and service we can’t wait to eat at your establishment. Great job
This restaurant is a true gem. Extensive menue including standard fare. The Cajun selections are well crafted. I enjoyed the NOLA Jambalaya that was exceptional. I had the silky subtly spiced Catfish the last time. Many craft beers, good wine selections, available and a fine bar. Go here for a great dinner.
Food delish, service great. Very friendly staff and the food , the food was phenomenal. My boyfriend is picky and he loved it! We will Def be back! Thank you Melinda, for the great service 🤗
Went here for our anniversary. The food was served up very quickly. The staff was friendly, attentive, and followed up appropriately. The taste was excellent. Prices were very reasonable as well. I would definitely go here again to try alternative options on the menu. Definitely try the blackened shrimp. It was amazing!
Excellent food! Great staff! Proper gluten free accommodations! I think it might give a touch of tacky vibe but it's meant to be a large American family restaurant so it might just succeed and I'm not used to such flavor from such a place. The food itself is a cut above the atmosphere is my point. The flavor and style near that of various popular but smaller hip restaurants. So if you want large delicious family style Cajun this is THE place. Drinks were also good. I'd say it's one of the best values for flavor you can get at a family restaurant. My comments are only for the gluten free dishes so if something isn't too your liking I'd recommend the various Cajun rices next time. The fried catfish app can be made gf and that was also very good (I don't get fried food too often!).
We have lived around this location for years. We have seen restaurants come and go but I think Chester's is here to stay. It was an already established restaurant before moving to this location. We have wanted to check it out for a while but it always seems so busy (which is a plus!). We stopped in on a Friday night just before 5 PM. Parking was available. We were seated right away - 2 adults and one child. The atmosphere is really nice. Our waitress was super friendly and had great knowledge about the menu. She was also very nice to my child. My husband ordered the beer battered fish fry - it was very good! The outside was crisp, no sogginess and the inside was flaky and moist. My son got the kids tenders and fries and really enjoyed them. I got the "Stinger Burger" - a beef patty with 2 mild tenders on top (mild, med, hot, BBQ), lettuce, tomato, onion on a hard roll. It was delish! It was a bit messy to eat but worth it. I got a side of their baked macaroni and cheese and again it was great. It was creamy with a baked layer of cheese on the top. The price was so reasonable for what we got. We will definitely be going again to try more!
We came in for the first time today. It's a really nice joint. We started with the fried pickle chips, they were great, I am one who normally doesn't care for dill pickles. For dinner we ordered the Nola Jambalaya, Fat Joe's Cajun pasta. That might not be the exact name but it was the one with the garlic sauce. And two orders of buffalo chicken mac and cheese. With the Mac and cheese I will say the noodles were over cooked a but but not bad in anyway. I do not remember the waitresses name. She was very good though, if we come back I hope we get her again. If you're in the area I would definitely tell you to check this restaurant out. I only wish these "Cajun restaurants" would make boudin balls or boudin sausages.
Becoming one of my favorite places to eat, the food was so amazing today and our waitress was highly attentive.
A Great Place for Drinks, Food, and Fun The bartenders are attentive, friendly, down-to-earth, and full of personality. The place is clean and the decor is fun and inviting. The food is absolutely delicious. The people you meet here are the kind you want to sit, drink, talk, and laugh with. Overall, a fantastic spot for a great time!
I had the best experience here tonight. I'm gluten free and the options were plentiful and delicious. Our waitress Ruby was delightful and very attentive. My food came out in great time and piping hot. I had the catfish fingers, they were tender and extremely juicy. Yum!
Wonderful Food. Extensive Menu. Much to choose from. Service Was very good. Can't Go Wrong Here. Adding this. Just had dinner here this evening. I have never had a bad meal here. Food is Fabulous Fabulous Fabulous! January 2026.
Perfect place, food and drinks for a great night out
My wife and I have frequented Chester's for years, and it never disappoints. Consistency is the keyword here - no matter what I've ordered from their substantial and diverse menu, it's always excellent. GET THE BLACKENED SHRIMP. The servers are always attentive and efficient and food is always quick to arrive from the kitchen. If I had to offer some (minor) constrictive criticism, I would say the atmosphere is very much family friendly dining, and that's fine, but the decor and vibe in the dining room is missing some personality. All that really matters is the food anyway, and that's 10/10.
Absolutely best food ever!!! Nice big portions. The menu has a mix of gluten free, or not spicy to nice and spicy! And the drink list is yummy too!!! If I could give them 10 stars I most certainly would!! Atmosphere and staff are also AMAZING! I just love coming here especially with friends and family that have never been!
Great choice! Stopped in for lunch early and was impressed with both the food and the service. Super nice young lady who was personable as well as attentive. Had the Chicken & Andouille Gumbo with the Chorkin platter. Verrrry tasty. Generous portions and just enough spice with additional sauces readily offered. I'll be back for sure when I'm in the area.
Terrific food experience whether you eat in the restaurant or pick up to eat at home. Good prices. I like how they do the clam casinos. Interesting menu selections. The only negative was the music was too loud. Consistently good. Maybe not for your first date. Lots of sticky fingers and sauce on your chin.
This place isn’t in the best location but don’t hold that against them. The interior of the restaurants makes up for it. It’s clean and has a nice vibe to it. Now let’s get to the food. The fried oysters were excellent on their own, no need for the red pepper remoulade. The seafood jambalaya had a nice kick and was bursting with flavour! Lastly, the mac and cheese was unreal. It was made with love and you could tell. Please support this great restaurant because it deserves to be here for the long haul!!
The staff and patrons were so happy and friendly during our visit here. The menu has a good selection of gluten free stuff, and our server answered all our questions. We are road tripping back to Canada, but will definitely return for good food and good people. Thanks so much!
1st time at new location, love the space and the food was 10/10. Clams casino, jumbayala, seafood enchiladas and seafood pasta all were amazing, the seafood enchiladas we're my favorite, best we've ever had!!! Our server was amazing too
Was looking for somewhere different to eat and the reviews for here were good. I'd never heard or been to this spot despite living here my whole life. The menu was extensive and my eyes were bigger than my belly before I even got started.. The Food was good. I had the "Big Eady Combo" which included Gumbo, Jambalaya and Red Beans & Rice. All 3 were delicious. I had the Catfish Fingers as my protein. Fried to a golden crisp and great with my Combo. Will definitely be adding them to my restaurant rotation. The have 10 tables and a bar area. Staff were masked- ample room for distancing.
Its not bad and it's not amazing but it's good. Its very clean but simple inside casual vibes. Staff were attentive and super friendly. Most food was very flavorful. Greens in buffalo are usually pretty terrible and Chesters were actually kinda good for a northern restaurant. Blackened chicken had great flavor. The Mac and cheese disappointed me I may be wrong but I'm gonna guess it's stoffers and they melted a lil extra cheese on top it wasn't bad but i was really hoping for better considering its a cajun restaurant so if their just doctored up frozen stoffers so im glad i only got it as a side not one of the mac ontrees. Portions are ok enough some items were good price others slightly high for what you get. It's hard to find great southern or Cajun around here and this is good enough that I'd return when I want southern or cajun. I didn't love or hate it, I'd definitely go back and would say if you like cajun or southern definitely give them a try and decide yourself I certainly can't think of anything to say don't go. I'd give a 4 star but I appreciate local small businesses and know it's not easy so gave a 5.
We drive past Chesters all the time. We finally had the opportunity to visit. Service was on point! We ordered mac n cheese, blackened shrimp, and chicken po boy. We also ordered the gator juice and brownie with ice cream. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back.
If you living in the area and haven't been to/ordered from Chester's yet you are doing yourself a great disservice. Their food is fantastic and their service serene. I have had a different dish every time I've ordered from them and have yet to be disappointed. Definitely check them out the next time you can't decide which restaurant to visit on a Friday night, or can't agree with your coworkers on what to order. Try something new at this wonderful establishment.
AWESOME menu, great service. Atmosphere could use a little work. We order dinner and then always get a to-go order for the next day... It's that good! Fantastic Cajun menu but something for everyone. I've traveled 'down south' and this food keeps up with the best.
We totally enjoyed our visit. The staff was friendly and welcoming. We ordered multiple items to share and they were all very good. Highly recommend the gumbo and Po' boys.
Never disappoints. Food is great. Lisa, our server, was genuinely friendly and picked up our vibe. This is one of my favorite places for these reasons!
MaryBeth is a wonderful waitress/bartender. The food was wonderful. Try the grilled chicken, ribs, and DEFINITELY the baked mac n' cheese. 10/10 recommend.
Absolutely love the food and the service can't be beat!
The fish fingers are to die for! I had them with sweet potato fries! Next time I’ll get coleslaw. The fingers were nice and hot and the tartar sauce was perfect!
I'm not a New Orleans food afficiando but my friends are. So I had the special of the night which was cod, I chose broiled. It was delicious! Very light in texture, cole slaw and mac salad very good. I finished it tonight and enjoyed it even more. The waitress was great, I don't remember her name but she was training a new server. Our friends from East Aurora especially love this place as does my husband. We have been here before and we will be back again! Thanks for a great experience!
Came in Friday 9/20 had Melinda as my server. She was amazing very attentive and answered all of our questions in detail. She was very friendly and welcoming. Food was amazing as well especially the pig pen platter. My boyfriend loved it. Definitely would come again based on service alone!
Too bad I didn't catch the server's name. I was only there for some take out and the server was great. I'm not a local, so I just stumbled in while on the road and she took great care of my order and was really nice
Great menu the food was fantastic. Lisa is the greatest server I've ever had
It was the best Cajun I've ever had that wasn't down in the Deep dirty absolutely a huge fan everyone should try it I had Chicken andouille sausage gumbo, seafood jambalaya, red beans and rice, and my amazing woman had the pulled pork Mac n Cheese both were absolutely phenomenal. We can't wait to travel there again and definitely will be one of our favorite places for years to come.
We've eaten at the old Transir rd. Location many times. Since they've closed we haven't had their food because it's such a far drive for us. However, we decided to make the trip and get some takeout to enjoy our old favorites. I called 10 minutes before they opened and they more than willingly still took my order. Once I got there the bartender greeted me and she was extremely friendly. I order the chicken andouile sausage gumbo. I'm telling you it's the best gumbo I've had my entire life. Even when getting it through take out its just as good as ordering it in restaurant. So much flavor... Yummy. Then my fiance got the fat jacks Louisiana pasta. It has a kick to it but it's delicious. Each order came with the softest half loaf of bread too. Then we got the catfish fingers for our daughter. They aren't too fishy and they have a good flavor to them. For just $2 more we were able to get fries with it for her too. We love this restaurant.we just wish they were closer.
I got their Mac n cheese ,very cheesy and for my taste decent. I prefer baked but it's good. I got their prime rib sub in the photo very tasty and their Cajun rice. I got their Carolina pulled pork sub job well done. Yes Carolina is a type of pulled pork and they nailed it. And their catfish finger delicate and tasty ,just wish their was more. And the popcorn Cajun bites super tasty and simple . Overall I'm pretty happy with their food. I would recommend them. Prices are fair and parking is big.
We came here after being in town for a concert last-night. When we pulled up we were a bit hesitant but let me say, the food is AMAZING! I would highly recommend you come here.
This was amazing. My waitress (hope i remembered this right) Lori was great! Very nice. Helped a traveler with what she recommended. Which was cajun shrimp with chezy baked mac, hush puppies and slaw. Man. Each thing was AWESOME! nice people. Nice restaurant. Nice waitress. Thank you for a lovely dinner!
A friend of mine and I enjoyed lunch at Chester's. He's wheelchair bound and initially we thought we wouldn't have access but the amazing waitress took out the ramp, installed it within a minute and had a table ready for us. We weren't too sure if the food would be as delicious as it was at it's original location but find out it was better. I highly recommend Chester's to anyone who truly appreciates good Cajun food along with excellent service.
Chester’s Cajun Grill is a neighborhood gem that we love to visit! Sometimes, when you think of where to go to eat, everything begins to blend together. Chester’s is so different and so delicious! Everything I’ve ever had on the menu has been wonderful! The blackened skillets, Mac and cheese, hush puppies, and crab cakes are amazing!!!
We loved everything about this place. After a long day of Black Friday shopping we were tired and hungry and this place hit every spot I needed.
Absolutely love the new place. We started out with Cajun Bloody Mary's which were fabulous, and of course I went to my favorite "go-to" crawfish etouffee which was phenomenal. My daughter got her favorite dish there which is the blackened catfish Po Boy and my mom had her favorite "Chorken" dinner platter. Oh and of course we had the shrimp and corn chowder!
I've come here once a week for about six weeks now (Not including Thanksgiving week), and every single time I've had a genuinely wonderful time. Never have to wait long to be seated, with our longest wait being roughly ten minutes that we were able to spend over at the bar itself (Will explain in a moment), and an atmosphere that's consistently warm and inviting. The food has been, back to back, something remarkable. The first time I came by I was concerned about the prices, but I've always walked away from it feeling like I got more than enough (Oftentimes with a little too much, some portions may look small until you actually start eating, then you realize your eyes were acting upon their own hubris.). The real kicker is with someone who is quickly becoming one of my favorite people: Ruby. Ruby is, despite having to run herself ragged each time I've been by, always incredibly nice, extremely patient, and is willing to joke with us and explain things with the menu or events. The main reason we had to wait at the bar for that ten minutes mentioned above is because we wanted to be seated by her. That said, shout out to Amber as well, for the one time we've had her, she was also incredibly nice and found my decision to have a rum and coke with tequila instead... Curious but funny. I could talk about Chester's Cajun Grill for quite a while, but to summarize it all: Great place, better food, truly wonderful people. Leaving this at the end; If I had to gripe, and I had to seriously sit and consider it, it's that the bathroom is very tiny. The fact that I can only think of that should be worth considering. Love this place, looking forward to going next week.
Service is consistently top notch. I’ve never seen a waitress with so many tables, but then Ruby goes and hits every table quickly and efficiently, so it never feels like it’s too long between visits, and even at such a clip she’s super friendly and makes sure we’re well cared for. The food is great. We’ve yet to find anything we wouldn’t eat again, after going six or so times. The food is well seasoned, seems to be of high quality, and the portions are quite generous. Sure, some things are around $20, but I end up more full from that than double that from other places, and the food tends to be so so much better. The decor is very New Orleans without being Mardi Gras all the time. The music choice is spot on, and the whole place never feels over-crowded or too loud. The baked Mac and cheesy is a treat, and the burger was shockingly good, if you want recommendations.
Went with my family and they were great with a larger group. The food was well seasoned and the portions resulted in everyone taking leftovers home (with a few orders of fried ice cream to enjoy there, naturally). We're looking forward to going again and trying different dishes. When they say hot, they mean it. Delicious!
Very good Cajun food and consistent. Our waitress, Ruby was friendly, professional and attentive. The menu was vast and expansive. There are options at all price ranges. Love this place for something tasty and different!!
If you haven’t been here yet, you’re missing out. Every single time I’ve been to Chester’s, it’s been a great experience. The staff is so friendly, and the atmosphere is fun whether you’re on a date, with family, or even by yourself! The food? Unreal. The po-boys, pasta, sides, apps, platters…everything we’ve tried has been a hit. Definitely recommend the jambalaya and the gumbo, try them at least once!
This was a wonderful find for us while in the area and if I lived here, I would definitely be a regular. Fun place, unique menu with tons of choices. The server was friendly & fast, food came out fresh and hot... Portions were generous and the bill was beyond reasonable. I'm sure we will stop in a few more times before we leave the area.
Amazing experience in a cool atmosphere with uplifting music! Greeted and sat right away for dinner on a weeknight at 7pm. We enjoyed some cold craft beers and shared a zippy blackened shrimp and rice appetizer and some stuffed to the brim clams casino packed with flavor. Our server, Ruby, had some wonderful recommendations and took the time to give us her opinion based on customer feedback. Our main dishes were the Pigpen Platter and the St. Louis Style Ribs Dinner. Everything came out quickly, hot, and delicious. Ribs were fall off the bone and charred to perfection in a pleasant BBQ sauce. As people who do not like Mac and Cheese, we wanted to at least try it. Oh my goodness was it rich and creamy with a true homemade presentation and flavor. Cannot wait to return!
Excellent food, very casual neighborhood place for a large variety of home style plates and sides for lunch or dinner...great prices and large portions very well presented. Bar is comfortable and drink prices are a win! Saturday is Prime Rib Day...not on the menu, 4 different size cuts from 8oz, 12oz, 16oz and 32oz !!! WOW
We were passing through town and found this restaurant. I must say that this restaurant is likely top 3 for me this year. The ribs is tender, juicy, perfectly fall off the bone goodness. The cajun flavor (their gumbo, from the 'kettle' section of the menu) is just perfectly flavored. Service was so spot on and very efficient. I am a fan and will be coming back.
I’ve travelled from Toronto twice now for this place! Not sure how it compares to the south but for me it hits the spot when I’m craving Cajun/creole food. I absolutely love the crawfish étouffée and my mom loved the creole shrimp. My only complaint was the Guinness otherwise 10/10. Service was also awesome, friendly and excellent for one server running the entire show. Will always return/recommend to others
I had been wanting to try this place for about a year. But, I don't like seafood at all. So I'm always worried a place like this is going to stink to high heaven of catfish or clambake.. you know low tide. I braved it. NO smell. And I am so glad, best sub I've had since the copper penny in NC. Amazing. And Chester is wise enough to put the chicken on top of the lettuce... So the lettuce doesn't get ruined on the ride home. Love it and look forward to going back.
They never, ever in the history of their existence strive for better than average with customer service. 99% of the time the dismissive attitude is present if not by all by most. The food I'd always good, order the Fat Jack's Louisiana Pasta at your own risk (they changed the recipe years ago and it has never been as good). Saturdays Prime Rib Special mostly make up for it. Enjoy!
Pretty decent food and good service. I ordered the Cajun chicken. The coleslaw was decent as was the chicken. The seasoning wasn't amazing but wasn't horrible. The Mac and cheese was slightly cheesy but the macnorni was cooked perfectly and was very creamy. Worth a try for sure
Fish was on point! Sides were delicious, especially the collared greens! This place has cod, which I prefer as well! Service was good, knocked the atmosphere cause it is an older establishment that could use an upgraded interior. On a return trip, plate under soup cup had small, live ant 🐜 on it. Kinda just set me up for not the greatest dining experience.
This trip to Chester's was for a quick take out. The atmosphere is always GREAT, and the service is friendly and warm. The food this trip was back to what I had come to expect!! Rich flavorful and delicious! While I will continue to support and enjoy what I have come to love as my taste of Nola in Ruff Buff, I will also keep it 💯 so that you don't rest on your past praise.
We arrived a little before 5:00. The lone waitress was doing an amazing job taking care of all the tables. We were seated within minutes. The blonde haired server was very friendly and took our orders promptly. Considering how busy it was, our dinners were served quickly and with a smile.
The food had great flavor, was prepared fresh and came to the table pretty fast compared to most places. The wait staff though left a lot to be desired, our waitress had a bit of an attitude and was very handsy with grabbing things, even going to the point of pulling a paper menu out of my 1 year olds hands forcefully. Is that .25 cent paper menu worth that much to the business that they have to yank it out of a child’s hands? Waitress also repeatedly reached over the top of my plate while eating, a bit frustrating. Overall I would recommend the food and I’d likely return but hopefully would have a different waitress.
Came here for lunch. It was not very busy, so there was no wait. Service was quick and efficient. Food came out relatively quick for a table of six people. Wrap was very tasty. The mac & cheese was a bit too creamy for my liking, but that is just personal preference. Overall, I would recommend Chester's. I feel like we will return soon.
Cool place, buffalo pub through and through. Clams casino is on point, too three I've had in Buffalo. I've had a po-boy but it really wasn't a po boy. Not that I was bad tasting. So come for good vibes, come for pub good that's Cajun adjacent sometimes, and come for clams casino.
Not a first timer food is good the heat levels maybe the only thing that I heard in the party of 9. That being too spicy. I Like the pigpen platter and catfish fingers i also had the Bourbon wings very good.
Finally stopped by after riding past for a while and wondering about the food. I ordered the grilled chicken breast dinner with baked Mac n Cheesy and smashed potatoes and a side of hush puppies. My daughter ordered the 1/4 lb cheeseburger with gravy and mash. Everything was just okay. I wanted the mac to be delicious but underneath the crusty cheesy top it was pretty bland. The chicken was well cooked, not dry. I mixed it with my potatoes and it was good. I was not impressed by the seasoned rice. The ambience was decent, decor could be better. Overall it was good, but I probably would go elsewhere next time.
Catfish fingers are my favorite the red beans and rice were great pickel chips were good casino clams were more like a stuffed clam but they were pretty good as well now the Mac and cheese was disgusting soupy no flavor taste exactly like the crap they serve at KFC major let down for a Louisiana based restaurant my friend ordered a steak the other day she said it was bland even the grill mark didn't have flavor
Wanted to try some place new and we ordered food for take out. They forgot the Mac and cheese in our order and the dipping sauce for the sweet potato fries and unfortunately we did not realize until getting all the way home which is 45 min away. The food we did receive was decent. The breading of the catfish fingers was pretty bland and had no flavor. The fried pickles and macaroni salad were really good. Overall it was a little disappointing for first impressions.
The place felt very homey and comfortable like a mom and pop shop in a good way. Overall it does look dated and the service was decent. Our waitress didn't seem the friendliest and whenever we asked questions about the menu it seemed like it annoyed her. For instance when we asked what is popular menu items. She said everything..... The food for me wasn't good but that's my own opinion I didn't eat any of my seafood pasta after the first couple bites the noodles tasted hard and the cheese was hard. But my kids and husband loved their food! My husband had the nola jambalaya and really liked it. My daughters had po boy, ribs, and mac and chz bake. We had clam casino and crab cake for appetizer and those were pretty decent. The soda tasted like straight syrup it had absolutely no fizzle to it I chose to try it out because of the great reviews and because I just came from new orleans a few months ago but this food tasted nothing like new orleans. Sorry it was decent but I wouldn't go back.
The servers were extremely nice and professional! We watched only 2 ladies who were on staff 5pm -8pm on a Wednesday it was getting really busy but they made it work. Management needs more staff. The $10 (2) crab cakes were ok, a little burnt 1 side.( maybe because of the incoming customers it took 30 minutes) my dipping sauce from the onion fries were a better combo to cover crab cakes or I would have sent them back . Happy hour Drinks were average. I'm a repeat customer but I may think twice before recommending to eat here again. I loved this place on Transit but since the move, (it's in my neighborhood) the quality has gone down.
It was my first time ordering here, and I just wasn't satisfied. I ordered a shrimp appetizer, and it was burnt like actually burnt up. I ordered like a Philly cheesesteak and it didn't have the consistency of steak and was absolutely disgusting 😑 that was also burnt and dry. The staff was kind inside that's why I'm giving 2 stars and not 1.
We’ve eaten there before, but this last time was the worst! My prime rib was very thin for a queen cut and it was very pricy for the small size you got. My husband’s dish had no flavor on the bowl of his Cajun meal he got. The stuffed mussels appetizer was cooked to long and very dry. The only thing real good was the coleslaw and my corn chowder seafood soup. I asked for some to go meaning the size I already had and not knowing the crocks were bowl size I said a bowl to go and that end up costing me a lot! I should have said crock not like the one I had, but I thought she’d know that since I asked for the same size. And instead of changing the mistake and not charging me $16.00 for it, she said I can’t read your mind. This was the first time we ever had a bad experience and the amount was crazy!! I doubt we will go back again. It’s not worth the two hour drive and we can find more places with better hospitality!! My husband loves Cajun food and we were recommended this place, I wish they would make there customers happy and be considerate with having the customers be satisfied!!
I and my brothers went ro Chester's Saturday April 26, about 2pm. The only waitress that was there showe us how racist she is before we were able to order, in the middle of my brother ordering, she walked away and went to take orders at another table, only three tables and of course we were the only blacks there. I guess she didn't want tip from black people because whebi told her we were leaving she said PEACE GOOD RIDDENS. I will never step foot in there again.
I will not be returning after the way I was treated tonight. Let me ask you this if you’re spending over $30 dollars for a burger you would want it made right for that price right ? Well at this place they don’t think so the worker that works at the bar and that is in charge of takeout was so rude to my mother and me because I simply told her that the burger wasn’t made right and I don’t want to eat a burger that was made right and she had a whole attitude saying oh well you want us to make the burger over because it’s the wrong cheese and you didn’t get your toppings I said yes not to mention it’s overcooked because I paid $30 for it and that’s not cheap. She was just simply so rude and whoever the owner is, I hope you have a stern talk to her because the way she treated us and as much money we spent here that’s not right thats disrespectful I never had an issue till tonight and me simply asking to make the burger over. I was gonna give me that type of response. I will not return.
If I could give service a negative review I would. I've been a fan of the Chester's restaurant in Williamsville on Transit for years. This was my 1st time going to the Cleveland Drive location. My friends & I sat at the bar and the bartender was the one serving & bartending but there was only one other table that was finishing up when we arrived. After she got all our drinks we said how hungry & excited we were to eat and she walked away to completely clear off and clean the table that had left while every other table was perfectly ready to be sat at. After over an hour of sitting at the bar with empty drinks/one bottle of beer each she came back to bar and said we had to wait so she could eat her food because of her blood sugar. We were all sitting there with empty drinks thirsty & starving staring at her. She refused to get us a 2nd drink unless it was "our turn". We arrived at 12:30pm and did it leave until after 3:15pm because she couldn't comprehend taking care of more than 10 people at a time. I literally don't understand why she demanded to ring in each of our drinks one at time, running back to her screen in between drinks BEFORE taking our food orders. I'm so sad because I've always loved going to Chester's with my family but I will never go again during an afternoon or while that bartender is working. She was also rude and made comments about how she didn't like us being there during the slowest time of the day. 0/10 for her for sure.
My office just ordered lunch from Chester’s. I looked at the menu, and was pretty hungry so decided to order the Black’nd Chicken Dinner skillet. It was $22 after tax, so I figured it would be a good sized portion. When I opened the container, there was about 6 bites of food as pictured below.
