Opinions de El Patio Fine Tacos Beer Anaheim
My boyfriend got the mocajete and I got the wet chicken burrito and both were amazing! I totally recommend getting their agua fresca! I got a raspberry drink and the waiter mentioned it had mint, and honestly it was good!!! Totally going back with my family! They had a nice bar area and the outdoor seating was really nice. (ps they have the mocajete on happy hour pricing when we went- Monday, not sure week day or day thing)
I came here today for the first time, and I have to say that the cuisine was the most deliciously real Mexican I have had in years! The green chicken enchilada plate, carnitas and pastor sopes, and a shrimp taco were all shared by my partner and me, and we were both pleasantly delighted by how flavorful each bite was. The presentation and customer service were excellent, and the pricing was also extremely reasonable. We also had a delicious authentic agua fresca de horchata and you can just tell they made everything fresh! You must experience this brand-new Long Beach treasure! You won't regret giving them a shot, and I can guarantee you'll want to return frequently, just like we will!
I’m a really picky eater and I don’t like onions or cilantro. However, they made the tacos they way I liked them without looking at me weird lol the lemonade was really good and refreshing. The meat of the tacos were tender, juicy, and very tasty. The salsa was a prefect blend of tasty and spicy. They also have patio seating that’s nice and warm. I will definitely return for more!
I'm glad we found this place. The food was amazing! Small place; however, when we went, there was hardly anyone there. We ordered Green Chilaquiles with Steak and Chile Rellenos. The portion was also good. It filled us up. To drink, we ordered the micheladas with Modelo, and it was amazing. Sorry, I forgot to take a photo before eating.
Came here for Sunday brunch. Ordered the LB Sope Benedict with fresh fruit. Love that they add mango to their fruit salad. The sope benedict was a unique spin. Live mariachi and it wasn’t too packed. Looks like they are understaffed, but the ladies serving us were hustling… they deserve a raise! Looking forward to coming back. Such a fun atmosphere. Lots of flies, but they have machines to help reduce this.
We were there yesterday for my son's bday. The waitress Noemy was super nice and attentive. Too bad I live far, but when in the area, I will stop by again. Oh almost forgot, the aguas frescas, bomb!!!
Our fajitas were amazing! Our service was excellent. We will return.
Love this place. Really excellent food, red sauce, meats, and tortillas were all great. There’s about 10 giant TVs playing all the games and fights so it’s a good spot to eat and drink while you catch some sports. Our server was very very nice. 2 notes though: the food took a long time to come out. And they were out of a lot of items we tried to order. We will definitely be back!
I highly recommend this place. Food is fresh, tasty & authentic. This is my first time trying this place & I definitely will be back. I had the pozole & it is amazing! My friend ate the chilaquiles & she loved them. Jessica was our server & she was nice, helpful & attentive. The fresh cucumber water is refreshing & really good. I live in Montebello & I will definitely drive to Long beach again to eat here. If you have not tried this place you need to. You will not be disappointed. Btw, they say if the salsa is good the food should be even better. Really fresh chips, slightly salted & the salsa is very very good. I brought some home. Shout out to the cooks for putting love into their food. It is very tasty & delicious. Thank you 😊❤️
We drive here from Orange just to have the food. I have never had a complaint. Every item we have ordered has been amazing. My only issue this time was we ordered 4 aqua frescas (2fresa& 2pina) the 2 Pina ones tasted old. We didn't know until we got back to Orange. It was definitely not a fresh taste. We will still come back but next time we will try the frescas before we leave.
I really enjoyed this place. The atmosphere was great and the food was delicious. This was my first time here but definitely won’t be my last. My hubby had the menudo. He said it was heavenly. I had a veggie quesadilla that was very good. I also had a cheese enchilada (which was average). The also have a small parking lot which is always a plus.
The food was amazing, the service was great. The patio and dinning room were close for some reason, but it didn't matter I got my food to go. My friend told me about this place. I was just in the area for work, but I'd definitely recommend this place!
Our first visit and it was outstanding! Food, Service, and Ambiance was excellent! The waitress was super nice and very accommodating. I ordered a Paloma, and unfortunately, it was so bad for my taste. With no hesitation and a smile, she replaced my drink. I ordered the Strawberry Margarita, delicious! The Mariachi was wonderful, and the female vocalist was amazing. We ordered the grilled shrimp tacos, quesabirria tacos, and the chili verde plate. All fabulous. I definitely recommend it. Two thumbs up!
I stopped by driving from Porter Ranch to go visit some antique shops in Long Beach on a nice Sunday morning. I was too early, so I decided to look for a Mexican place. I was hungry for some old-fashioned Menudo. I've drove by the place, and it had such nice art decorations and plenty of seating for a bite to eat. I saw the menu, and it had a lot of stuff to choose from. I saw they had what I was looking for, so I sat down by the counter and waited for my meal to arrive. The food server was named Jessica. She was very kind and offered me what is popular in this nice cafe. I was so impressed with the servings. I was so content and happy. I also ordered a Modelo beer as they have the beer on tap or bottles. I highly recommend eating here as I will return to try out their tacos.
This restaurant is a such a great place! The food is bomb, the environment is awesome! They have live music on weekends and really good drinks! Check them out, you are missing out if you haven’t been here before. Try out their molcajetes, or some of their aguas frescas, don’t forget to also try their home made flan or tres leches cake…delicious!!! EL PATIO DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!!
This restaurant is one of the best when it comes to local Mexican food, Each time this place does not disappoint, with frequent weekly specials and a rotating menu. I have had multiple dishes from this establishment, each better than the last.
The nachos were BUSSIN! Not too heavy & not too light. Perfect chip to chicken ratio. The fried ice cream was really good too. This might be my new favorite spot. I can't wait to come back and try some of the other things on the menu.
Had a wonderful meal at El Patio. The chips and salsa were perfect. It’s hard to find a good California Burrito, and El Patio nailed it—good carne asada and the fries had a little crisp to them, just how I like them. We were glad to find this place and look forward to going back.
Food is outstanding and super happy to have them takeover the spot. Got a variety of food and they did not miss. Sauces are on point too. Only complaint is that they should make it known there is no beer yet. Not their fault, but they should post on social media that it’s pending the state or county. Got my hopes up for beer before the visit.
Best Mexican food in Long Beach. Close to home. Here we had taquitos nice and crunchy. 3 Tacos chicken and steak and omgg the chile relleno is a must! Authentic and great refried beans and yummy orange rice. For drinks we had a mixture blend of pineapple and other yummy flavors. And second drink is a refreshing hibiscus/ jaimaica.
Welp, this place did not disappoint! It was great, like my brother-in-law (Joe)would say “This was jummy food”!!! Man, we had the molcajete and it was flavorful and cook to perfection We had a couple brewskis to go with it and we will be back Oh and they have LIVE entertainment who sounded nice while we enjoyed the sunset on the outside enclosed patio area. You should definitely try this place, service was great. Btw, got a pic of our food after we had devoured it (plenty for two to share).
Hands down theee best Enchiladas in town, ive had enchiladas everywhere and they were ok but these here are probably the best anywhere, I dare you I double dare you to try them and compare them to others. Would like to thank my server Yuri, she is so nice and attentive asking if I needed anything and had great service skill. I can't say the same for the other girl. All in all the food is good and id drive way out here just for the enchiladas again like I did today. The tacos are good too.
Great taco options. Definitely try the rib eye and Al pastor. Good quality and plenty of salsa and condiments available. Good portion size and excellent service. Wings are nothing great but let’s be honest you’re not coming here for tacos and breakfast options. Parking available. Serve fresh horchata and coffee also.
Huevos rancheros and breakfast special. My three year old said it was good and she liked the eggs. The flavor on the rancheros was yummy and looked nice too. I asked about their liquor license and the said they have it but are waiting for a few things. I feel like breakfast places in Long Beach need to have mimosas or be super take home-able. Hopefully they will get busier once they have some other drinks! Super tasty and close to home for us so it’s a win. And they had cafe de olla which I a favorite of mine.

Excellent service: the staff was both friendly and attentive. The food was good too; we only tried the chips, salsa, and taquito appetizers, but everything was delicious. We also enjoyed some beers and sat in the outdoor patio area, which added to the overall pleasant experience

Definitely give this place a try! Friendly staff and delicious burritos - get em wet. The meat is very tender, the salsas and sauces have big time flavor and kick when you want it. Lots of tvs on the patio if you like that, but also open air if you don't. Margs are wine-based, not full on tequila (But I don't think you'll notice.)

The food is very flavorful. They give unlimited chips and salsa, with a variety of salsas if you ask for different flavors. Beers on tap. Big patio. TVs all over the restaurant. We didn't expect it to be as casual as it was - which was fine - we just didn't expect it to be since it was our first time. We definitely got looks from everyone when we walked in! At first, we felt out of place with all the looks we got 😳 It seemed like a place for (Spanish-speaking) locals, and here comes this family....a white dude, his Asian wife, and their 3 kids. We stuck out like a sore thumb 😆 But once we got settled at our table, the server made us feel right at home!
Place is clean. Service was good. Pastor fries were not good. Wouldn’t get them again. Molcajete was alright. Not the best I’ve had. Definitely coming back to try more food.
Had good food. I ordered the veggie bowl and had some guacamole on the side. Bowl was tasty and not overly spicey. Guacamole was really yummy. Has fun graphics on the walls and an outdoor patio.

Amazing food, and I sat at the bar and had really friendly service from the girl who was working at the time...the ambiance is very casual (and it was particularly hot inside) but the semi outdoor patio that makes up the space for most of the tables is pleasant and decorated in a fun way.
Great service from waitress Paola. She was beautiful and kind. In this type of climate you don’t know what type of service you will get, but she was kind, patient and warm and was attentive to me and my friend. The food on the other hand was seasonless, the salsa was watery, perhaps just tomato puree with cilantro, white and green onion. They ran out of birria and that was ok. The flavor was off.. surprised the asada was bland, filled with chewy pieces. The drinks were tasteless. But because the waitress was fire, that is why the stars were given. Great service and if nothing else, come for that. Obviously many ppl enjoy this place for the food, I just expected it to be more tasty and it wasn’t!

It had been about a year since I last ate at this restaurant. I used to come have breakfast here often bc I really liked the chilaquiles. The experience started off fine. But when I got my food and started eating I realized that that green sauce was especially spicy. I was confused bc I’ve had this dish before and had no issue with its spiciness but couldn’t make it past a few bites today. I ate everything else on the plate that did not have any green sauce on it. The waitress came by and asked if I was still eating to which I replied no and asked if they changed the sauce recipe bc it was far spicier than the last time I had it and could not finish the meal I ordered because of it. She said that the green sauce was the mildest one they have. I replied that I had it several times before and it was never this spicy. She shrugged her shoulder and repeated that it was the mildest one they make and everything’s else was spicier. The impression I got was that she didn’t really care that I had an issue with the dish. So I decided not to continue sharing my concerns seemed that it wouldn’t change anything. To add to my frustrations there were a lot of flies on the patio. I expect there to be a few sometimes bc it’s outside but I was wondering if there was an open trash bag nearby because there were dozens of flies that kept landing on my head, the table, my plate (I had already stopped eating, and my coffee. It was not a good experience. I’m hoping this was just an off morning but I likely won’t be coming back for breakfast if the flavors are this inconsistent and the service experience is not good.

Came here for take out, asked to see a menu to go and I was told “NO” that I had to order through the app. Wow…! I am glad the are doing that well.. never again will I return..
The food here is fine. But the service is deplorable and dishonest! The staff at this restaurant operate under "Birria Hands" on Uber Eats. They tried to pull a ratings scam by having their Customer cancel an order because, they claim, they ran out of a common menu item. The thing is, Customers cancelling get a cancellation fee and a ding. If the restaurant cancels? They get a ding. I caught them lying to their Customer (me) today. Telling me that I would *need* to cancel their order since they couldn't, and that I would get a full refund. Uber's CSR clearly said a cancellation fee is standard if initiated by the user. El Patio did not want to cancel the order themselves and tried to let the Customer take the hit to their reputation. Shameful service. Absolutely shameful. Give your money to honest businesses instead.
